1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: September 07, 2018, 04:32:57 AM
And what is there to think about here? In my opinion, now there is not a single coin with a throughput of seven transactions per second, like that of bitcoin. In prospective coins, scalability reaches up to a million transactions per second. Therefore,  certainly in this respect bitcoin has become very slow. He needs to improve, otherwise he may lose his great popularity.
1622  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Considering about to collect tax about crypto currency on: September 07, 2018, 04:22:06 AM
Indeed, the collection of taxes on profits in the crypto currency for each state will be very difficult, considering that exchanges and exchangers mostly citizens will use those outside the state where they must provide a tax report. Therefore, this activity will mainly be laid on citizens in the light of their good faith. Only if the state tax services becomes aware of individual facts of citizens' activities, from which the need to pay taxes follows, they will be able to verify such information. And this tax should be moderate, so as not to drive the activity on the use of crypto currency in the shadow.
1623  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC Compliance for Bitcoin on: September 07, 2018, 04:08:50 AM
KYC compliance in bitcoin can really help it to gain legitimacy plus it will be available for more common people.

What you guys suggest?
I think that the KYC can be checked by exchanges and exchangers, which will be registered and checked for the ability to keep confidential data of citizens safe. Such a test can not be handled by ICO teams, which themselves do not pass due verification and are very likely to be potential fraudsters themselves. In general, KYC should ideally be tested by state bodies that must ensure the safety and security of confidential information of citizens and bear direct responsibility for its leakage.
1624  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and Taxes on: September 07, 2018, 03:53:57 AM
We know that the attitude of states towards the decentralized crypto currency is mostly more negative than friendly. States will always dislike the fact that they can not fully control the decentralized crypto currency. In order for the crypto currency to penetrate into our life and develop further, it is necessary for the state to legalize it, that is, it determines the status of the crypto currency, its conditions of circulation in the society and determined its taxation. Thus, in order for the state to recognize the Crypto currency, we will have to pay tax on profits for its use. If we do not do this, the state can limit the circulation or even prohibit its circulation inside the country. I do not think that paying taxes on profits for the use of crypto-currency is contrary to Satoshi Nakamoto's vision or, in general, to the principles of its existence.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Is going to hit 200 USD? on: September 06, 2018, 04:44:42 AM
What's happening with Ethereum? The most promising coins becoming garbage! Yes, we know the bearish market has come again, but ETH in 330 USD?! It is unbelievable. People told that In August, the crypto bull market will start and now we are seeing the bearish market ever in 2018! I can't believe ETH is now 330 USD. What about you guys?
It was incredible a month ago with a rate of ethereum of 330 dollars. However, in the morning the ethereum rate is 228 dollars. It seems that the price of $ 200, which seemed unreal a month ago, now may well be. Now, probably, many are shocked by such a low price. But on the other hand, buy at such a very low price ethereum may be more and will not succeed.
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: September 06, 2018, 04:30:30 AM
We are witnessing a strange situation on the cryptocurrency market. Over the past 2 months, the cryptocurrency has experienced a strong correction. But now I hear more and more that soon will begin a large growth of altcoins. What do you think about it, friends?
The third quarter of the year is already coming to an end, and we have not yet seen the growth of the crypto-currency market. Especially surprising is the drop in the last days of the course ethereum: yesterday this coin dropped to $ 246, and today in the morning its value, according to CoinMarketCap is $ 228. And even despite the drop of bitcoin, such a sharp drop in ethereum is clearly not proportional.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there hope? Can we still make a bigger profit from altcoins this year? on: September 05, 2018, 04:58:33 AM
The price of BTC, ETH and other altcoins looks a bit low. I need advice with instances if bigger profits can be made before the year ends from BTC?
This year for crypto currency is one of the most difficult. From the beginning of the year to the present day, we have practically no profit from the use of the crypto currency. In our purses, coins and tokens fell in price by 70-80 percent. We are still waiting for the last quarter of this year. At this time, crypto-alaite usually rises after bitcoin and therefore there is still hope that this year will also be. Although, there is no certainty that it will rise sharply in price.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 66% of people in the world have heard about Crypto only 9% own on: September 05, 2018, 04:46:20 AM
Some interesting numbers came from an ING Bank survey that revealed some information regarding the level of awareness, ownership and intention to own crypto by the world's population. On intentions to buy in the near future, 16% of the population, said they intended to do it. Regarding ownership numbers were Turkey 18%, Romania 12%, Australia 9% USA 8%.
These numbers show huge room for growth, hopefully retail investors don't come in too late, and are dumped on by the institutional investors.

This seems like fake news.  I'm very surprised 66% of the worlds population has head of crypto.  If so that's great news but I'm not buying it.  I do feel like we need a better interface with the blockchain so that mainstream can get on board.  This is too difficult for parts of the population.
Yes, for an ordinary person using crypto currency is still a certain complexity. To do this, the average person needs to learn a lot and many know, otherwise he can lose his money. It just frightens and repels people from crypto-currency. These figures show a small percentage even of people's awareness of the crypto currency. Therefore, it will take a very long time for the crypto currency to enter our life.
1629  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-01] Japan’s National Police Installing Crypto Transaction Tracking Syst on: September 04, 2018, 04:40:34 AM
This is in any case worth doing, as hackers and all sorts of scammers are massively engaged in crypto currency in order to steal more of it. It just becomes like a natural disaster. It is necessary to unite the efforts of different countries, the Japanese police here will not do much themselves, because such crimes are committed all over the world. And criminals migrate to many countries and track them very difficult. Here, most likely, you need to create a large structure in the Interpol system.
1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just one coin... on: September 04, 2018, 04:22:03 AM
You wrote everything right. While one of the biggest problems of bitcoin is that it is used primarily as a means of accumulating value, and not as a means of payment, which leads to inflation of its price. If the correct information in another thread with a link to the article that 111,000 bitcoins can be sold in the amount of $ 802 million, then bitcoin may soon fall in price very low. The only problem is that he pulls down the rest of the crypto currency.
1631  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon we would not need banks on: August 28, 2018, 04:19:32 AM
The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.
State primarily need the banks to plan, lend and develop the economy of their country. If someone thinks that he can do without banks, let him do without them. However, the state and a certain part of the population of each country without banks will still not be able to exist. Even different forms of non-cash payments are made through banks. I do not know how much I need to be self-assured in this, to say such things. Have we already completely switched over to settlements in the Crypto currency? Crypto currency will never replace either cash or other forms of non-cash payments. Crypto currency can exist only as an auxiliary form of non-cash settlements and nothing more.
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: New different cryptocurrency on: August 28, 2018, 04:07:32 AM
I understand that AGS is another token, which now has more than fifteen hundred. Not everywhere, bitcoins and other well-known coins are still accepted for payment. Why do you think that will be accepted, as a means of payment, some unknown token, which I have never even heard of? How is this token better than others? If it is ever used, as a means of payment for the purchase of clothes, it will take a very long time for it to become famous and popular. Now many coins and tokens are being used as a means of payment. Competition is growing, let the strongest win.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it more profitable to Hold BTC or buying a lower price and selling at higher? on: August 26, 2018, 05:19:23 AM
In previous years, it was very advantageous to simply hold bitcoin and this brought very large profits to its holders up to a thousand percent or more. This year, the bitcoin holders did not receive any profit from simply keeping bitcoin and the only possibility of obtaining it is the periodic sale of a part of the bitcoins, when it rises in price by several thousand dollars, and its purchase at the appropriate price descents.
1634  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-25] Google Searches for ‘Bitcoin Price’ Sink to Three-Year Low on: August 26, 2018, 05:04:06 AM
In the past, people did not have much idea of which sites offered the price, graph and how to buy. So most of the research was Bitcoin + what they wanted (price, where to buy, altcoin). Today they may have more saved sites, more apps, and look for more specific terms.

But the term is still much more researched today than it was two years ago.

Bitcoin vs Nasdaq
Of course, those who are interested in the crypto currency have long made the relevant bookmarks in the browser or installed the relevant applications and are looking at the information there, rather than typing constantly about it in the Google search engine. Therefore, such information does not reflect real statistics on this issue. This is just how much you can manipulate if desired by public opinion.
1635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really a bubble ? Analysis. on: August 25, 2018, 06:00:33 AM
While i look into your posted picture it seems like bitcoin is one of the strongest currency in terms of value.
Bitcoin is not a bubble because bitcoin is uncontrollable and unpredictable, If it was bubble than why would not bitcoin value wemt to one digit value since 4 years  it seems it is growing and will grown in future.
Yes, but why then bitcoin after a sharp price spike in December last year for so long was in a state of correction and still keeps the entire crypto-currency market stagnant? What was wrong with him?
We do not yet have practice what to call a bubble in the crypto currency, and what not. In particular, we can not yet say what behavior of the crypto currency is normal for it, and what goes beyond the limits of the norm.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: August 25, 2018, 05:08:09 AM
It's not that old coins or not. If old coins have a good design and develop, then they will continue to grow in price. Some old coins, as far as I know, have grown to a million percent in price. So prospective coins and tokens are very beneficial to hold for a long term.
1637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: August 24, 2018, 06:11:57 AM
Crypto currency has a very high degree of volatility by its nature. Therefore, bitcoin can not stand still. He will either fall or grow. If bitcoin does not grow in price, it will lose popularity and level of capitalization. Then the time will come when he will lose his price dominance over the other types of crypto currency. In this case, the altcoyins will develop very well. This is more than a half thousand coins and tokens, which will already be free in price. I think, then there will be something to do.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll reveals 2% of American investors own Bitcoin on: August 24, 2018, 05:56:25 AM
A recent Gallup poll shows the early adopters of Bitcoin among American investors.

2% might not sound like it's a lot but it's a very good start for such a new investment category. The question is what else needs to be done to get that 2% number higher?

You can read about the poll and the other results of the survey here: https://bitcoinist.com/quarter-us-investors-intrigued-bitcoin-poll/
That is, of the total number of people interviewed in the US, those who own a crypto currency, only 2 percent have bitcoin. The remaining 98 percent have altcoyins. This is less than one percent of the country's population. Apparently, the propaganda of state bodies that investing in bitcoin is very risky has worked. It will take time to correct the situation. In practice, in this situation with bitcoin in the US, this market is still without the use of bitcoin.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Stops over 120 Offshore Digital Currency Exchanges on: August 24, 2018, 05:35:13 AM
In fact, the Chinese government is doing everything possible to completely ban the decentralized crypto currency in their country within the framework of the adopted two-year program to combat crypto currency. Here in us also there will be a practice about, whether the state can effectively struggle with the decentralized криптоалютой. Judging by the steps taken, the fight against the crypto currency in China is quite effective.
Earlier in China, they announced that they were going to issue their centralized crypto currency. Now conversations about it have stopped.
1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Accelerate the End of Fiat Currency? on: August 23, 2018, 05:21:13 AM
Decentralized crypto currency can not replace fiat. Crypto-currency should not yet set such an objective, and in my opinion, it never had such an aim. This topic is too hot.
All states are interested in preserving their national money and will never decide under any circumstances to replace them with a decentralized crypto currency. Decentralized crypto currency can be so far only additional, alternative to national money, they must complement each other's capabilities, and not replace each other.
