Ignoring everything that the naysayers have to contribute...
If you don't mind dabbling in altcoins...the best entry level miner at this moment in time is the Baikal Mini. If you're just looking for something to play with and not make much profit if any, then you can pick up a variety of USB miners.
The baikal mini takes advantage of nicehash's profit switching system to maximize your income and pay you in bitcoins should you prefer that. It's cheap (300 USD), generates a decent amount of income (2$/day)
Sidehack is actually in the process of developing a couple different USB solutions that are inexpensive and viable for use. You can order the 2pac right now for around 40$.
If your power cost is less than 5 cents a kw/h then you could consider the S7 range of miners.
Anything else and we aren't talking about entry level mining anymore.

Do you have any other BTC stickers available?
Thanks.
I'll give you .1 for it all, localish delivery.

It's more than the blinking lights and spinning fans.
If you don't have the miners in person, do you really own them?
Regardless, I'm willing to take a 24h vouch of your hosted solution and review here for buyers.
How much to buy one and be sent no hosting?
I'm also curious about this.
Yeah, you can use it at home.
It's nowhere near the same noise as an s7s or s9.
Probably set it on top of your pc and forget about it.
How much, where are you shipping from...and do you accept escrow?
Haha homero you always crack me up.
Regardless...I'd take a vouch of this soap. It's been long enough since my last shower.
How much for an entire kit. With some of everything in it?
All this guy is selling is a modified 4U case.
Hardly theft of something intellectual...
It's inevitable that someone comes out with a different or cheaper or even better way to make something.

saw another one on ebay for 1kish.
not sure where you get your data from.
I placed one in the middle of a desk fan and it lasted a month longer than the other.
Still, poorly tested for flaws...Or maybe I just break things.
I killed one with 3 futurebits.
and killed another with 4 du1's.
My "controller" was reporting power surging backwards along the usb 3 line into the computer. so I think it has a design flaw.
Great hub until the bed started smelling funny.
I guess in the defense of superbpag they might not be made to run in a 90-105F ambient room.
Those superbpag hubs are not great for high power usb miners. They'll power em for a while but overheat and commit suicide shit the bed the first chance they get.

Hi;
Do you mind share any documentation on how to setup this miner. I'm buying one of these unit but from third party via aliexpress.
cheers.
It's similar to setting up any miner with a built in controller. Make sure that you have the power connectors properly plugged in and a network cable connected...and the miner turned on. Find the device on your local network by it's IP address and it should give you access to an area where you can input pool data.

Thanks for the infrastructure list. Helps with the window shopping.
Are you closing shop? You could ship it all to my neighborhood, we've got good power here.
I'll make up a wish list and pm you with it.

Are 7950's really considered older?
I assumed he was talkinabout the radeon 5970 or 6990.
I also have a geforce 8600 and a quadro fx 4400 I assume by previous gen he means 900 series nvidia's or r9's.

Are you interested primarily in sha256 mining gear?
