you don't "need" 4g decoding

asics or gpu's?
524  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [EU] 2x Baikal Miniminer (first version with 150 Mh/s) on: July 16, 2017, 11:07:29 PM
Hey I think that I can budget for these if your willing to ship to the US

On second thought I'd rather deal with someone who has integrity. Use escrow with this seller she caters to greed.
525  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS]Baikal Cube (2x300mh) for sale! on: July 16, 2017, 06:29:08 PM
you are correct!

good day to you as well Grin
526  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SOLD Biostar Motherboard TB350-BTC AMD Ryzen CPU on: July 16, 2017, 06:16:01 PM
have you tried plugging into one of the vga ports on the motherboard?

does the chip you placed in the motherboard have a build in gpu...intel 510 or whatever? that's the video output your operating system would be using on the rig in a perfect world...so it doesn't crash when you change algorithms.

you could have fried it by hooking it up wrong...

DOUBLE CHECK all the things to make sure their plugged in correctly...take everything out that isn't your ram or cpu related and try booting to onboard video, there's also apparently a "bench test" standard placement for ram and such...you'll get difference results sometimes if you put the ram elsewhere.

you also have to move the jumper back after resetting the motherboard

you also only need 32mb or so of video memory for windows  Grin so don't go setting all your available ram to video for a mining rig...

also, deep in the mines...could you use your biostar connection to ask them for a "poor mans" mining board that has...50 pci-e ports or something? It's really all about efficiency/density so even if you have to use multiple CPU's to get 24+ pci-e ports...it would still be better than buying 4 motherboard/ram combos

It does not have a built in video chip. it has to use the graphics card, as i am using a ryzen processor.  Apparently you need to jump the bios pins for more than a handful of min for it to clear. So I can boot with 1 or 2 cards detected using stock bios settings. Trying to enable 4g decoding, miner mode or iommu support causes it to not even post. This is the most difficult motherboard I have tried to setup. Spent over 7 hours on it trying everything. So any suggestions? Bios version has not mattered, 4/12 or the 5/18 one, same story. Different pcie slots do not matter, 1 vs 2 vs 5 vs 6 cards does not matter.

Primary video has to be set to PEG or PCIE, set max lane power to...gen 1 or gen 2.

you might also have to disable other things...like the audio controller or usb for it to work. hehe...

lower your tolud? ...hmm so the way pci works is it splits it in half then into quarters and so on...a 16x lane becomes two 8x lanes.

your cards might need to be plugged in using risers...if I had the am4 parts I could probably figure it out for you Smiley
527  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS]Baikal Cube (2x300mh) for sale! on: July 16, 2017, 06:09:34 PM
Profits are gone to almost zero. And peeps still trying to sell it like it's DASH pump going on. You will be lucky to sell even at factory price.

Make a calculation and see how close to zero are!
I do not sell them because they are not profitable, I sell them because I have enough money stuck in ASICs and I want to take A2000 from baikal ... which is not cheap at all!

why should we pay for your A2000 and only get 2 300mh? Plus you really have to be careful with that much hashing power... Roll Eyes
528  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS]Baikal Cube (2x300mh) for sale! on: July 16, 2017, 05:10:29 PM
2000 USD? (Factory price is 800usd)

I'm sorry, no. I know what it means to spend two weeks on baikal site and still not to buy. And it's not 800 (or 799, as it writes on the site), you get somewhere in 1000 paying in bitcoin (the exchange difference and the commissions)

if you had contacted them previously by email/created an account and/or talked to them on skype they'd have contacted you prior to the sale.

I think it cost 900ish in btc with shipping and breakfast included.

Honestly figured supermicro would have made something fancy and servery already for the mining crowd.

everyone screams as a whale goes by because they're afraid there won't be any more water...

I'd buy one for factory price

Only 2% efficiency and being in the most efficient part of the power curve. Negligable to most miners but being in the UK means im already paying over the odds for electricity.

If you're mining for 2-6 month's it's negligible...but if you intend to spend multiple years at this then that 2% really adds up. The difference in power over a couple years could be an additional rack or rig or gpu if nothing else.

Your order with reference code VVFZEPYYW given on July 10, 2017 is currently being processed and will be shipped from our South Korea warehouse's weekly shipment in the coming days.

This right here is a good enough reason to never order from you. My condolences to your company.

I know the titaniums are supposedly better but what's the real difference? Never quite figured that out.

If a dps800 works I have a psu for you but it would be platinum? I think not sure.

good lord, stop buying the z1xx chipset and buy the z2xx chipset, biostar's z2xx models all work out of box for me.

537  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS/WTT] Homemade GPU rigs. Open air. [US] Accepting eth/ltc through chaos fork on: July 12, 2017, 01:49:12 PM
ESCROW ACCEPTED THROUGH ANYONE BUT OGNASTY because I'm out .25BTC for using him...on some technicality he made up on the spot.

I just want to build computers and I'm running out of room in the spaceship and the workshop.

So I'm placing a few rigs up for BTC or I guess trade for hardware or current/last gen asics. If you would like me to build something specific let me know and I may be able to accommodate you.

Please keep in mind these are "Plug and Play" systems...but after shipping some assembly would be required.

Windows and system drivers installed...Recent mining software of your choice and a photo of a goat for the background image are included with each rig.

These rigs are "living" which means they're mining, they get babysat and I may swap out parts or reconfigure them as time progresses.

The Hexa-1070 has grown up and needs a new home...preferably within the America's because it's afraid of boats.

Rig 1: The "Hexa-1070" - built 7/7/2017 - last modified 7/17/2017 - asking 2 BTC

Currently hashing ethereum @ 175mh.

This rugged open air build sports 6 of Zotac's "mini" GTX 1070's. They're the 2 fan GPU and 1 has a back-plate.

Based on Biostar's "Racing" motherboard series and Intel's Z2xx chipset you can rest assured that this current gen build was designed for mining and will support one or more additional GPU's. With mild modifications this could be a "sweet gaming pc" or something of that manner.

Parts list:

6x Zotac "Mini" GTX 1070.
Powered USB risers.
2x sticks of 4GB Team Elite DDR4
1 Biostar motherboard - with a G4400T CPU and HS/F installed.
1 Biostar 240gb SSD.
1 1000w Platinum PSU.

Rig 2: The "Pentastation" - built 6/10/2017 - last modified 7/21/2017

A glorious return to LGA775...built from "what I had laying around" and refurbished workstation parts, this rig will often be cannibalized for a better cause.

The ghetto open air build features 3 XFX 370's and 2 GTX 1080's stacked on an old dell workstation or whatever I'm too lazy to check.
Currently hashing XMR @1200 h/s, ETH @ 42MH and DCR @ 2800MH <-shows zec but it's xmr right now I swear.

Parts list:

3x 2GB XFX 370's
2x 8GB GTX 1080
5x Powered USB risers
LGA 775 motherboard with a Pentium E2160 CPU/HS/F installed.
6GB of DDR2 (2x1 and 2x2)
Corsair 120GB SSD
1000w EVGA GQ PSU
PCI network card

Can you retake all of these photo's with your forum name and today's date on them?

Thanks.

So has anyone actually gotten something from him? Why would he try to scam with PayPal? So many questions.

nobody has provided any proof of receiving an item.

only noob/farm accounts making worthless words as usual...

Status page?

Picture proof of 10k miners that you have on stock?

Or do you just have 3 of them...
