1302  Economy / Goods / Re: Rare Exotic Supercar for Sale on: January 22, 2017, 12:27:02 PM
Spring is only a couple months away, and this is the car you'll want for the nice days. Smiley

Insured door-to-door shipping is available to any US location via enclosed trailer.

What if we wanted it shipped in a non-enclosed trailer? Kind of a deal breaker imho  Wink
1303  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Arctic Breeze usb fan on: January 22, 2017, 12:15:09 PM
leo how many sticks do you have ? if you have around 3 - 4 i suggest a nice 120mm fan

if only 1 stick i suggest finding a good small 20mm - 40mm fan ill look around my house and see if i can find one as i go to good will outlet where i find little fans alot in small electonics all the time and they run on 5v - 12 v

I actually do have 120mms in my house and it runs just fine but it's way too loud and I'd rather have a more useful usb fan that I can use elsewhere besides mining. I have just one Gekko stick.

I ended up using a 6" fan to cool the entire hub and my futurebits...works like a charm!

1305  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience is now dabbling with 16nm ASICs for new designs on: January 22, 2017, 08:07:46 AM
Uptimes to me doesn't mean or have to mean running for days at a time or years it can mean, when you use the PC, may be impressive was a bit strong but I'm impressed with 10 over any windows, expect for the bloat which no one wants ,  i started out with Dos ... and we all have our idea of how things should be or are is that better .... I honestly thought he was kidding that's very rarely seen any more mostly you see windows 7 which i wouldn't have said a thing and may be I should have kept quite any way, i wasn't making fun  but...from time to time in  DR offices I see them using XP in a room storing some kind of unimportant info or run a low level program they can't replace  that runs . the last place i saw a XP box was in a DR's office they were about to thrash that no longer booted or was stuck at boot complaining about the Hard drive... 9 month ago.

VISTA to me was the worst windows ever  ME was better , and ME was pretty bad ...

SORRY side i Won't go off topic any way more my bad ....

thanks top ....

I actually like 2 features about win8, it has drivers for everything...and you can swap harddrives between computers without having to reinstall for each machine.
1306  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [US] USB Miners: DU-1s, Compacs, Gridseed Blade, Eyeboot Hub, more on: January 21, 2017, 04:43:35 PM
yep working good here for my dr 1

 0: dr1 COM15:  0C 0RPM | A: 12930 R: 91 HW:0 | 8.247M / 10.79Mh/s WU:0.0/m

dont know why its not showing temp / rpm / or wu

but its hashing away nicely

What are your settings? I've never gotten mine to show more than 8.2m in cgminer. Wu, rpms and temps never show either.
1307  Other / Archival / Re: . on: January 21, 2017, 02:16:51 PM
bump...

What is the story on this? Still interested.
1308  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [EU] Scrypt miner on: January 21, 2017, 01:51:24 PM
Don't touch the A4 dominator units with a barge pole! The bitmain units have a much better power to hash ratio at the same price as asicminermarket is selling the dominator for. Dominator is also riddled with issues.

Does anyone with hands on experience using both the a4 and the l3 care to chip in... Or is that just personal speculation?
1309  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [EU] Scrypt miner on: January 21, 2017, 01:10:45 PM
If you're looking for a scrypt miner then a low power (270watt) silverfish asic is probably your best bang for buck option...Unless you have over $500 to spend then get an A2.

Check out AliExpress, I think they're running about $230ish.
1310  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [US] USB Miners: DU-1s, Compacs, Gridseed Blade, Eyeboot Hub, more on: January 21, 2017, 02:38:25 AM
I guess sometimes you have to do the same thing over and over again to receive results

success, just user error or something...computer  gnomes...
1311  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [US] USB Miners: DU-1s, Compacs, Gridseed Blade, Eyeboot Hub, more on: January 21, 2017, 02:08:52 AM
Bought a DU-1 off of this user, with about five hours of tinkering I was able to get the thing running. Not the seller's fault but mine Smiley Seller is very helpful and will do a lot to help you get started. Also bought a Geekoscience compact hashing away happily on Kano as well as a 8gh Jalapeno. Great guy with great prices, highly recommend this guy if you want some cheap and fun usb miners (not the DU-1 too much for me in my my case)!

one of the du-1's I bought fired up right out of the box

the other one does not hash at all Sad

edit: further testing required...

We have success captain!

Today I received the vouch packet, It was discreet and wrapped in a tamper evident manner. It took as decent amount of time to tear everything open...
Look at these beauties: http://imgur.com/oL7vBWV

They should sprout well, I'll look into getting one sprouted as soon as I setup another breaker for lights.

I've a "dead" s7(700m 45chip) board I'd let go at slightly over shipping cost to one of you repair folks

1316  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: {WTS} S7LN PSU Support Bracket on: January 12, 2017, 07:16:13 AM

Where are you located?
1317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Bitcoin Exchange Inspections Cause Price Drop and FUD on: January 11, 2017, 04:19:17 PM
News from China is once again spreading through the bitcoin world like wildfire. It appears China’s central bank the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) is visiting with the top three Chinese exchanges and assessing the company’s operations. Per usual the price of bitcoin took a dive during the early hours of January 11 dropping another 15 percent to a low of US$790.

https://news.bitcoin.com/chinese-bitcoin-exchange-inspections-cause-price-drop-and-fud/

Well, we didn't complain when the price went up due to speculation and rumours. Now we are just seeing the other side of the coin. Atleast, this time it is based on a kernel of truth.

This low is merely the other side of your multiplying chance.

Oh okay...Still 1 hour or 2 vs 3 days...It's easy math, most of us could even do it...
1319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: January 10, 2017, 10:21:16 PM
Yes sure, you dont want people to invest in gambling.

But you want people to invest in alleged ponzi schemes:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1128611.0

Shameful.

Put more words into my mouth please...I don't care what you do with your money. And to be honest, everything... even bitcoin is some sort of scheme.

Oh and speaking of alleged...I'm certain you're an alleged child molester.

The essence of alleged is not having any proof...go find proof if you have a substantial purpose other than shitposting.

If you find fulfillment in something then enjoy it. Just try not to break rule#1 even if it's your first nature.
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin has 'jumped the shark' on: January 10, 2017, 10:02:09 PM

Following that argument. Do you think every other guy would be willing to accept your POT Coin, your MAID Coin, your XRP Coin, your REP coin, your whatever altcoin you have right now. I don't think so. People will not trust altcoins and would prefer to deal with bitcoins. If you offer coins other than BTC, I don't think it will get you so far.

I'll take any altcoin that I can exchange easily as payment...maybe at a slight mark-up as a convenience fee.

Money is money...it all spends about the same.
