41  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should akash07 deserves to be tagged or not? on: March 30, 2021, 10:21:49 PM
Is it a self moderated thread?? If so i would first post in the thread a warning and state if deleted i will leave negative feedback.

If it's not self moderated or locked and unlocked for replies then post a warning in the thread. I would also leave neutral feedback, until it's more than a hunch.

I also assume this will end in a scam but there has to be a few red flags for me to just immediately tag and flag. I'm on mobile but will check it out later .
42  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB POKEMON CARDS (English, German) - Base Set, Fossil, Jungle - 1st Edition on: March 30, 2021, 10:02:29 PM
Not exactly what you are looking for but here is a thread in collectibles that is up for auction figured I'd drop it here for in case someone is interested.

AUCTION - Pokemon Card Collection
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto to $AUD on: March 30, 2021, 09:56:59 PM
Iirc coinspot is an Australian exchange. I had to use them years ago. Pretty sure they implemented KYC since then but depending on your use case that might be a non-issue. There are the big exchanges that have been mentioned as well. I wouldn't suggest P2P, being a relative newbie this can lead to getting scammed.

Just be sure to verify that you are using the a legit exchange and that you visit the correct website before depositing funds.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DEEPER NETWORK | Bandwidth Sharing = Mining | $600K on Indiegogo on: March 30, 2021, 04:50:12 PM
I reached out to reps for Deeper Network through Telegram and received responses to my questions. Posting here to update the thread as they are busy and focused elsewhere. I am hoping to follow up and receive  even a broad strokes version of handling nefarious actors, or a link when there is an in-depth explanation.

Quote
I've been doing the rounds trying to grasp the full scope of the project. Looking back at some
past answers regarding hardware and the Bandwidth sharing.
You mention nefarious actors. What acts will get a user flagged as a nefarious actor?
How do you actually tag and exclude a nefarious actor, in a decentralized and
anonymous network? Forgive my ignorance here, but was does someone's ISP see when
they are sharing bandwidth and what not.

Answering your questions, by nefarious actors we mean anyone who engages in online illegal
activity. About the tagging and exclusion, that is a deep question and we may require an entire
and exclusive thread. About the ISP, the IP address is exposed but the traffic should be
encrypted

Any particular reason for the Hardware shipping date being moved to May from
February? Is it just virus related or a hardware issue?

Not sure what you mean by virus related, but facts are we currently do not have any Minis in
stock due to increasing scarcity in raw materials, more specifically a real famine in
semiconductors. This is a global issue that anyone can easily verify with a simple google search
and whose causes are well known. Yet we have bought the needed materials at a premium as
we have a long list to cover, we will start producing in early April and start shipping again at the
end of the month. We are producing at a higher cost than we originally expected but we had to,
our customers are waiting. I think that answers your question as to why we had to move the
date.

Also I believe the team should definitely look into creating an earnings estimate for users
who do want to share Bandwidth. That's a pretty big piece of the ecosystem, and
knowing will incentive some to take part.

We have heard this suggestion before and we are always sensitive and receptive to ideas
originating at the earth of our community. We are looking forward to materializing this
suggestion, possible in the near future. For now, we would like to let everyone know that our
device has a much lower cost than PoW miners and has much less intensive energy
requirements. The details of our Proof of Credit (PoC) consensus mechanism can be found in
our whitepaper.

Apart from that. Token launch was delayed recently. I've heard conflicting issues/reports
across TG groups. Any firm dates and information around what happened and when
official launches will take place again?

We didn't want IDO participants to wait too long to receive their DPR tokens. We also wanted to
make sure our liquidity pools were ready for traders to trade right after they get their $DPR tokens. But the dates look like this
Ignition: April 5
Pools: April 6
Tokensoft April 8 --- No special holding requirements

I've found for immediate assistance at the moment it's best to reach out Via Telegram. Questions that aren't time sensitive should still receive a response through here as far as I know it's being checked on once again.
45  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING dirty paypal money gameristo on: March 30, 2021, 03:26:17 PM
, but again this is here as more of a warning, hence the title, but scam accusations thread was the best place I could find for this.
Sorry to hear man. Hiccups especially in those sums are not easy to weather.
I just figured I'd drop the option of using the Reputation board as opposed to Scam Accusation. Just going off your words, unless things change while you wait this out.
46  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newbie warning Flag: cryptobtcmixer.com is another scam on: March 29, 2021, 02:17:24 PM
I definitely gotta  hand it to you LoyceV. Not often you get the accused party to support the flag against themselves, well done.

47  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Genesis Series 2 Sealed Box on: March 25, 2021, 05:12:34 AM
There are a total of 560 Genesis Series 2 coins
There are a total of 24 unaccounted Genesis Series 2 coins.

They are:
Polished Gold #34
Polished Silver #11,30, 37,65,66,79,99
Polished Copper #41,44,51,52,68,80,87
Antique Gold #30,32
Antique Silver #1,32,41
Antique Copper #27
Antique Bronze #18,49,66

5 of these will be in that box Smiley
This probably sounds stupid, but does that mean there are only 4 possible sealed boxes out there? If all other coins are accounted for and with there being 24 left.
Thanks for the info

Glad to hear it. I still send anyone asking about hosting your way. Now I know it hasn't been futile. Hope things have been good.

I can't make it today, hoping to squeeze in the last qualifier next week if plans stay the same. Then looks like I'm going to have to forgo sleep for the finale weekend as I'm coming off nights. GL to everyone today

52  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: March 07, 2021, 11:10:14 PM
Jeez, things used to be so much simpler (and better IMO) when it was extremely hard to even get on DT2.  The first time I made the list, I recall hilariousandco or Lauda created a thread just to discuss some potential new DT2 additions.
Now it's like a free-for-all and it seems like it doesn't mean much to be a DT member anymore.  But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful about maintaining your trust list if you are on DT.
Not going to lie that old system was a shit show. People were so entrenched in certain camps, non DT's actually had to be exercise some caution at times when expressing their views. The fact that retaliatory or negating trust feedbacks were a thing and even necessary was so far beyond fucked up it was gross.

This system isn't perfect but it actually allows everyone to participate, and potentially be included if overall they are within acceptable practices governed by the community.

exactly - except now I am getting posted about for it - getting pm's as if I have violated a rule. Make it simple - will remove the guy until someone who is someone actually trusts the guy too, then I will readd him.

edit - removed. anyone else I need to remove?
I know it can be confusing and there is sometimes a disconnect to some extent between collectibles/marketplace and the rest of the forum about how it can be used. Personally my advice is re-add them when you've seen them interact with other individuals in trades, or in leaving appropriate feedback. In the meantime positive or neutral feedback depending on your threshold are 100% appropriate for someone you've done business with. This will also only come up when you are a DT1 member, as it does gran people in your list a role of some significance. Have a good one
53  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: March 07, 2021, 10:26:47 PM
I was under the impression that trust lists were managed by each user. If the user gives anyone a reason to not trust them and they present the case and/or the user gives me an issue to not trust them, I will remove them.
You are correct. People added to your trust list is definitely up to you. It's all about trusting their judgement, generally in relation to feedback they leave or stances they take on the forum. Leaving them positive feedback would make more sense in having escrowed multiple deals for them and them having been responsible and truthful.

Again you can add whoever you want but the purpose of a custom trust list is to make their useful feedback visible to you, and by extension users of Default trust when you are DT1. So when their only feedback is a positive left for yourself it can appear you're padding your trust score. That's just the optics of it.

Either way, as always with trust lists and feedback. Do what works for you, others will do what works for them.
54  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: March 06, 2021, 08:03:46 PM
Man, I hope you have enough time to make time for two more games (since there are minor qualifying changes in this series.).
If it came down to it, I would forgo the pleasantry and reg the tourney whether I knew I could make it or not. Especially with the missed opportunities this series where I was available. Tomorrow shouldn't be a problem though so that's good, then just one other. Make sure to get most of my duties out of the way before it starts then I should be free, unless shit goes sideways.

see everyone tmw

Edit: Post tournament
GG today everyone. It was a good game after the minor disconnects. Shame we couldn't fill the table but hopefully we see a few more people come out for the next round.
55  Economy / Reputation / Re: The AdkinsBET Army of Alts on: March 06, 2021, 07:57:42 PM
Scammer paradise - just get rid of your problems by making more accounts.
It's shitty. I've done the only other thing I can think of. I PM's campaign managers, not all just the couple I could think of. I requested they exclude that particular thread from post counts. It won't do much but at least it  might help keep the traffic down, if the only people talking are Adkinsbet and their Alts.

Other than that, I noticed the OP of that thread was offline so I dropped the old scam post it lasted about 15 minutes. So I'll do it whenever I see him offline <Insert "It ain't much but it's honest" Meme>

Edit: Apparently there is an adkinsbet_official now. I've tagged them, I would think that any wronged user could Flag this account not that it will help with teir shadow thread.
56  Economy / Reputation / Re: The AdkinsBET Army of Alts on: March 06, 2021, 04:26:55 PM
I've been handling bounty campaig, design services and management services. I don't know what are you talking about I've stated on my design that I am no related to the Adkins Interactive Group N.V. and they use my to create design and post it.
Flag has been created.

Yeah great exclusion of liability at the end, doesn't matter. Your actions make you untrustworthy and I believe newbies are at a risk of dealing with you or reviewing anything you have to do with business. If it was truly only about selling your design, then the client should have posted it.

You obviously knew something was up when you absolved yourself of liability.

Edit: Further to that, you are obviously in control and deleting replies to the thread, so you are intertwined no matter what you say.
57  Economy / Reputation / Re: Mods Delete Duplicate Adkinsbet thread on: March 06, 2021, 04:12:08 PM
Feedback isn't moderated either.
All we can do is Tag and Flag it. I haven't had a chance to look into it, but I will. Flag will help burn another of their bought accounts, then if it's an actual copy/paste can maybe report it for plagiarism, then you could likely take out the whole army with Ban evasion tactics
58  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTGA] CYPHER STAMP #20 on: March 04, 2021, 10:52:56 PM
Well I got 20 so far, but the shift has come to an end. Give me something to do tonight if no one finds it before then

Thanks for the fun.
59  Economy / Reputation / Re: User SmokerFace - Recycling posts for sig campaign, new way of cheating ? on: March 04, 2021, 07:08:39 PM
I love it. "No one specifically wrote do not copy delete and repost my "work", so I've been wronged". Oh this forum it's a gem that keeps on giving.

You're right there was no rule, but what always existed was professional standards, seeing as you see this as work and not just a benefit to engaging within the forum. So given that companies can see that you don't even feel responsible for leaving posts up for the duration of the campaign when paid for it, I imagine you're out of work. This problem has sorted itself out with a precedent instead of a rule, amazing.

You got greedy and wanted BTC for doing nothing and felt you were entitled to it. I would support any flag created by a company that you advertised for and did this to.
60  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] S15 or better bitcoin miner HOSTED!! on: March 04, 2021, 06:59:39 PM
Hey man,

Not sure if they would have the gear but they do facilitate sales for their clients from time to time. Check in with allinvain
He runs Cryptoboreas in Canada, and is a solid dude.

Apart from that last I saw was a company Teslawatt in the states, they were active on the forum but I've never done business with them. That's all I can think of atm.

Good Luck
