SCAM ALERT
USERNAME: DanielMH29

First send me bitcoin that was not working, then send me anothjer key which also didn't work.He said wait some time it will works.
Of course it didn't work.
Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/8RncbC4.png
Then he deleted me on Telegram.

If anybody has his address or something, please send me, so I can fuck his sister and mother and break his arms.

Threats of physical harm are not taken lightly on this forum. I suggest you change your tone, even if you've been ripped off for 29$

Here is where scam accusations can be made, and if you post the appropriate proof, and link to the account the scammer can be tagged to prevent future attempts.

The rating was changed to neutral hours ago.
A reasonable resolution so I don't see any need in carrying on in this vein. Back to the interviews sounds like a good plan
323  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 20, 2020, 05:57:47 PM
That's nice.... again, my feedback has nothing to do with trading. If this is the only reason a person would leave a negative, then 99% of negative trust should be deleted.

Maybe the forum should update it's "explanation".....
Understandable. That's why the forum introduced the neutral feedback. For a more personal feedback, that isn't related to trading, which was a big problem with the old system only have Negative or Positive as options.

I can understand you didn't appreciate being invited to participate in this thread. While free to do as you wish obviously, a neutral is the appropriate use of feedback. If you think the invitation needs to be further punished then reporting the PM to moderators is an option to see if they feel it falls into unsolicited spam, which generally only gets applies to businesses.

324  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: October 20, 2020, 05:51:23 PM
I will always do my best to participate. I'm on telegram as a few mining companies decided that's the best way to administer support. Would work just fine for a chatbox for the series.

Im also thinking of running a bigger 1 off free roll or low stakes forum game, perhaps monthly?

And of course potential partners or sponsorship for our games (aside obv of SWC who already do us well I would like us to maintain this relationship - pokerstars that I wanted to consider using isn't accessible from some players so not doing it I suppose *shame)
Depending on schedule timing I would do my best to play in either of these. One of the main reasons I've never played on stars is depositing, I hate using a 3rd party provider to load funds. I'm sure I could swing a P2P transfer or something of the sorts.

I would suggest ACR, but I can't imagine they would sponsor us in any way shape or form. Maybe I'll fire off a support ticket. Pitch it as an idea to advertise on the forum and bring in more BTC poker players. Worth a shot. I believe they are accessible to most of the world, and I've never had any issues with my crypto deposits.

325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: October 19, 2020, 07:36:57 PM
I am still definitely down with trying to keep the series alive. I have already mentioned to tyk that I have no problem continuing to do the Spreedsheet, as I think they are still goin go to be occupied irl.

It would be nice to continue to grow, but that just comes with time. Personally I wouldn't be opposed to a 1 or 2 week cool down in between series. That's more personal but will still make every attempt to play that I can.

Reach out anytime you need anything.
326  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: October 19, 2020, 06:58:36 PM
Hopefully "the powers that be" properly lock that account so we don't have a repeat of what went down a couple of months ago...
See:
I will request that theymos ban the "Lauda" account (u=101872)
Done. Lauda is banned in the same way as satoshi, such that it isn't possible to even log into the account anymore.

I have removed my support of the flag, and updated my post in this topic stating as much.
327  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 06:53:45 PM
Done. Lauda is banned in the same way as satoshi, such that it isn't possible to even log into the account anymore.
That's good enough for me.

So I will leave the flag supported until a time forum Admins make it clear they have locked the account permanently.
Would you please oppose your own flag, and then withdraw it?  Thank you.
I made a point to check on this first once I woke. I have removed my support for the flag given the above measures taken by theymos. Flags are permanent but only visible if properly supported.

Only kind of correct I was going for. I couldn't be sure theymos would lock the account so I created and supported it until he took steps to secure it. I see no reason for it now, so I removed my support.

Yeah, a flag seems a bit much, and I agree with your reasoning.  Theymos has locked other accounts upon request, Mdayonliner comes to mind.  I think there's very little risk the account will be used again, and less likely that it'll be hijacked by a scammer.
The flag was created before theymos locked the account. Until I saw his post this morning there was no certainty theymos would have taken steps to lock it. I believe mdayonliner actually had to randomize their password themselves, I can't remember. Might have happened with the Bruno accounts, can't recall I didn't follow to much of the after story.
328  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 09:12:24 AM
I had presumed that you simply hadn’t thought this through, and would be amenable to reasonable discussion and reconsideration—rather than blowing off valid concerns with a snide remark stating the obvious.
My mistake.
Your assumption was why I made myself clear. It was not meant to be a snide remark, but a succinct response to whether I think before I act. I may have read between the lines with your comment but you did clear up that you felt I hadn't given it enough thought.

My concern remains that an abandoned and unmonitored account of value should be flagged, up until the Forum acts to secure and protect it. I hold no ill will against anyone who thinks I've overstepped, that's the system at play. I encourage everyone including yourself to do as you see appropriate. I am not uncompromising in any way shape or form, but my threshold for removing my support remains the Forum take onus on locking and securing the account. Which I 100% believe they should do for the history and - to this day - useful and relevant information they created.

Since this is the Flag reference thread, I'll respond here: I've opposed the Flag.
I don't worry about future scams: the chance of the account getting compromised didn't increase. The risk could even be less than it was for instance a year ago, especially if theymos bans it as Lauda requested.
I respect your decision. I disagree with the risk. Given the elusive and eloquent nature in which we were provided information, it's hard to tell what is meant by compromised PGP keys. There could have been a larger than known data leak or something of that nature.

Why else would it be stated that none of the standard "proof of persona" we normally use are to be considered acceptable.

I really don't know, but until there is some action by theymos, I'll keep my support for the flag.

329  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 08:39:37 AM
Dealing with the account is a risk. reading what the account wrote is not.

You seriously think that a newbie warning banner on a sticky thread titled, “Newbies - Read before posting is appropriate?

Please reconsider and withdraw your flag.

My own neutral feedback also states the value of some of their previous posts.

Wait—so you think that neutral feedback is appropriate, but raised a flag?  I issued negative feedback (but left standing my prior positive feedback, for the historical record).  I suggest negative trust feedback on the account, with clear wording that it is only effective from today forward.
Yes I do, or I wouldn't have done it. Seems pretty clear. You and others don't have to like it and can oppose it for whatever reasons. I stand by the flag, and when people read the reference it all makes sense. Again the flag says nothing of the quality of their posts, but is very clear that you should not deal with the account.

I left a neutral, because the account hasn't scammed anyone. Their actions however deserve note, so based on my personal opinion I left feedback stating the risk, and encouraging individuals to still benefit from the threads they have previously created.

So I will leave the flag supported until a time forum Admins make it clear they have locked the account permanently. In the meantime others and yourself can do what aligns with your vision of the use of feedback and flags.
330  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 08:26:20 AM
I don’t think that it is right, productive, or at all appropriate to place a big warning banner on all of Lauda’s old threads, such as the famous wallet thread and stickied rules threads (!).

Whoever was behind the Lauda account was and is trustworthy—only, no longer connected to the account, as of today.

That is why I red-tagged the account with negative feedback, and a statement explicitly beginning, “Starting with the date of this feedback...”  (And I was the first to tag the account.)

I considered raising a flag myself, then rejected the idea; and I have opposed your flag.
That's fine and you are free to do so. The flag criteria is easily met for me moving forward from this day. Dealing with the account is a risk. reading what the account wrote is not. My own neutral feedback also states the value of some of their previous posts. i am not in anyway discussing the individual behind the Lauda account only the account itself.

@SteamTyme I have updated the sheet - thank you very much for your help.
No worries glad to help when I could. I did realize though that I F'd up the lovely formatting that would have auto populated the prizes and what not but i will just drop the info here and everyone can comb over it and cross reference the sheet to see if I f'd up.

We have 121 entries that paid and played - 121*400 = 48,400
Add in the 11 donations                           -   11*400 =  4,400

Total being                                               48,400+4,400= 52,800

Divide that up by 2 and you have    -    26,400 for the lottery, and 26,400 Added to the Finale prizepool. If I remember correctly.  Meaning there will be 3 prizes available for the Lottery @ 8,800 Chips a piece.

Good luck all, and "May the odds be ever in your favor"

I request support for this Flag on the Lauda account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2398

In this topic they have expressed they are abandoning that account. This is a precaution against future potential scams.

Edit: My response to Nullius in the other thread, only updating as it seems relevant to the post below. I will not be discussing this flag further in this thread.

That's fine and you are free to do so. The flag criteria is easily met for me moving forward from this day. Dealing with the account is a risk. reading what the account wrote is not. Edit: Forum admins have taken steps to lock the account permanently, in the same manner as the Satoshi account. I no longer see a warning flag as necessary with the Lauda account. I have removed my support for the flag.

Adios Lauda, I'm hoping it's just a snake shedding it's skin and that you not your persona are still around in some variation. We rarely agreed beyond a point of principle, but you were still and always will be a net positive for the space.

*snake not meant as a slight

Edit: Flag created to avoid future scams. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2398
334  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 19, 2020, 04:45:39 AM
Sorry man, had no idea who needs what. I just came and played very lose game and it has worked unexpectedly well tonight. I basically knocked out almost all players tonight. Now riding the luck in Big BTC satellite. Small BTC satellite already in my pocket.

Too bad I am way too tired to continue playing and try to get some big money Smiley
No worries, I watched for a bit and had to shut it off, watching you bet fold to just those two lol. I went from elated hoping you were knocking either of them out to accepting of my fate. That flush run out hurt but that's just cards, i was just glad to be ahead pre.

i've just now touched down ~1000 miles from home. Roll Eyes

i hope SwC hooks us up with another series because i totally shit the bed on this one.
A man in demand. Nothing wrong with that but it will be nice having you back at the tables. On a bright note they did re-open their main thread, I dropped a thanks for the series so we'll see what happens. here's to hoping for the next one.

I updated the standings so the final table is set, though I'm sure most already know who's in. Just need efialitis to update the final chips received from everyone then prizes and lottery can be finalized.

Glad to see the thread is open and you guys are back to updating. Couldn't play the big one today busy with work, but managed to make it in for the double stack #39. Hoping to run better than most of my shots last week.
Today was the final qualifier for the forum series. Just wanted to throw out another thank you for the sponsorship. We've been having a ton of fun.

regarding the Championship are you guys handing out Avatars to event winners this time around?

Side note - Anything new and/or interesting going on at SWC. I can't keep tabs on the chat, but it sounded like there was something coming up or some announcement going on. Might have gotten mixed up can't be sure.
336  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 18, 2020, 07:31:55 PM
GG all. I had just enough luck to cling to 10th.
I now think Trofo hates me and doesn't want me in the final  Tongue, After turning their Flush they knocked me out and then proceeded to  pretty much double up the 2 players I need to finish out shortly after me. Mollok and Bitmutiny, moving them comfortably into the middle of the pack

Have fun all
337  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 18, 2020, 11:26:19 AM
Alrighty, well I'm registered and have an alarm set. Now to try and get to sleep. See everyone at the tables in a few hours, should be a good final qualifier. Real close race on the final 2 spots for sure. I'll have the spreadsheet updated and the chip allocations fixed up tonight when I'm back at work after the game.
338  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC and ETH [WTS] CAD PP or EMT on: October 18, 2020, 11:15:17 AM
Hey there,
I have made a trade for the BTC.

Unfortunately it's really not worth it to do the currency conversion through Paypal. The fees are super annoying, that's why I try to only deal in CAD. Worst case I do have exchange options that are still better than currency conversion. Thanks anyways.
339  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please help me understand the feedback I got? on: October 18, 2020, 07:09:16 AM
There is no understanding it. People can leave whatever feedback they choose. I'm not sure if Jollygood is on DT at the moment or not, so I can't tell you if the feedback is visible to the world by default. I can tell you to me you have no negative ratings by default, it shows as untrusted, as I have excluded Jollygood in my trust settings.

Personally I would just move on. Creating this thread was a good step after being ignored. No one should be left feedback simply for a comment.

Edit. Why delete the thread?
