The debit card and crypto invest don't really interest me. I'm hanging out for the crypto credit feature. That will be the card that brings in users - but no idea when that will be ready.

As noted by developers, do not trade on those platforms, your tokens won't be replaced after their 'fork' due to the security breach!

Am I the only one that doesn't think crypto invest is that good, unless they have some next level traders?

I mean they only take money from you when they make a profit, otherwise if you lose money you don't pay them anything.

But that means if lose $10 one day, I lose $10. Next day I make $10 but I have to give, say $1 of that to Mco, so I've actually lost money.

So unless their traders are awesome (which based on their ability to deliver cards, is probably a bit of a stretch) then crypto invest isn't that good.

Since bitcointalk isn't kept up to date, I'll just pass on that trade io had a cold storage wallet breach (or something similar) so all trading of Tios has ceased.

Only updates right now are via telegram. I expect they'll reopen trading once issue is resolved, but they may need to airdrop new tokens depending on nature of the breach. I'll add any updates here as they go.

If you like Zen, mine another coin and trade it for Zen. With electricity costs, you'd be losing money mining zen. Only thing mining it right now is Asics so don't even bother competing with that kind of hash

They are transparent in their conference attendance. So it is hard to call it a 'scam' even if it is an absolute joke that they can fail to deliver on their most basic deliverable of crypto cards.

As of yesterday, the front page of trade.io now contains a running liquidity pool annual interest return, based on that days performance.

I'm going to look more into it to see if it controls for movements in crypto. For example, is the percentage in USD or bitcoin?

Either way, it is hovering around 20 percent if you have 25k of tio.

So we have hypernodes, mining and game like features, I'm interested in what the plan is over the next year now that the blockchain is fairly well established.

I know that since this is python, most things need to be coded from scratch but just wondering where you'll focus your efforts.

Ha just as I was saying earlier on - these coins that 'sell' early masternodes are often high risk, and actually not very high return.

And when they don't even have details or names of developers, looks even more suspect.

Seriously, you could have fallen asleep for a year and come back and you would have literally missed nothing except a new website/expensive domain name, the 'team' going on holidays (I mean conferences) and some financial tool features that no one was asking for or expecting from the ICO (crypto invest).

It's like you raise money to start a restaurant, and you buy a car dealership. That's what some of these updates are like. No wonder the price goes down on these 'announcements!'

Sounds like it will be a little bit longer before masternodes or PoS is ready - it is still fairly early days for the pure PoW phase so it would make sense for them to hold of until even 2019 and just keep the community growing, and increasing the supply of coins so more people can be involved in masternodes.

Will your masternodes support node hosting services or be against it? Mainly, will you be able to keep your collateral in a public address, and a service can run that node without you sharing your private keys with them?

As an example, Horizen (formerly zencash) is intentionally set up in a way that means you just need the collateral in a public address and a service can set up the node through their hosting platform.

Economists love their equilibrium! Alot of people are at the point where after electricity costs, it is pretty much a wash - no profit no loss.

So there would be little incentive for someone to build a rig today, particularly as better GPUs come out, FPGAs, ASICs and so on all put a dampener on potential profits. And lets not even talk about Eth (one day) moving to PoS... 

I'll keep mining and perhaps we'll have another upswing in the not too distant future.

Seriously, how do you go from a Binance listing, to thinking Yobit is a good idea? May as well spend your money and effort elsewhere.

Once you're on a good exchange like Binance, just focus on product, community and development. A second tier exchange with questionable history and reputation is a step backwards.

I'd also be interested in an update - my understanding is that they hadn't raised as much as their soft cap (like well short), but there still may be a chance of something being released given the product has mostly been developed?

Even so, if the community isn't large enough it won't get enough traction and use to get off the ground. I still really like the idea so hope it goes ahead!

It's crazy how much listing on Binance drives up a coin. Every other exchange only gives a small bump, but with Binance it'll rocket up 30 odd percent no problem.

Also Binance usually have some whale trading competition as part of the listing fee, so that might help with keeping the price going for now. Either way, I like raven so will be keeping mine regardless!
