$3,895.00

Still waiting on compensation details tho. If it's like anything like the SP10 slow May batch, 5% off you next purchase, I'd like it applied to this GB.

QG
Lucky you, now you will have 2 under performing units. At-least Spondoolies is consistent Cheesy

So let me understand, when will the August Batch start delivering?

By the looks of it the pictures (at least the last one) were taken 2014-07-29 around 4:20PM with a Nikon D3000 camera  (EXIF says).
Since most of the units there waiting for QA (by the paper tags) have rack ears, I'm guessing that what we see in the pictures are the units going to the data centers for hosting or were installed in the local datacenter as the July batch.

RoadStress said earlier that the group buy units are expected during the second part of August. Knowing DHL/UPS guys .. I'm expecting something in the week starting Aug 25 .. Thu or Fri delivery.

Your question still stands though.
Got the GPS data for that?

Stop stop stop.  here is why I am anti paper clip

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720208.0

and I am also anti bitmaintech switch  for a simple reason  those pins have 5 volt 20-30 amps  they can ground out on the should of the s-3 or on a metal shelf.

BTW I have nothing to do with the ebay seller that sells a safer product then bitmaintech is selling.

now if mstrongbow  from this site prints a proper back plate for the bitmaintech switch I would like it.  I am not taping over the pins with a

Macgyver like fix.
2.5 years on paperclips across 20 psu's and never a problem  Undecided

Did you see this? Thinking about buying this but not right now. Min of 500.

https://bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140731043909819C9CL7qf4064A#tab-description

That's an expensive paper clip and you need to buy 500 at a time.

Whoa! I take a week or so off from Bitcointalk and come back to bad news about the SP30.  Sad

On the positive side, it is great to see Spond handling themselves professionally, as usual. Thanks for keeping the communication open and honest.

Looking forward to hearing more about the compensation options.
You're funny  Grin
266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 30, 2014, 07:58:47 PM
Complete BS, both claims.
So what is the reason for the delay on compensation then? You can stop the speculation right here and now with an honest answer.
267  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 30, 2014, 06:41:45 PM
Sucks you don't get your refunds until October. That's a nice interest free loan that Spondoolies got from the community and now you don't have the option to buy competitors gear if you wanted since SP is holding onto your money for a few more months.  Roll Eyes

i'm sorry but; you are clueless.
since when would I ever put all my eggs in one basket? since when would I put all my money into one purchase? since when are you the authority on what everyone else does with thier time/money/investment?

you just make it up as you go along. clueless.

now run along and stop your whinging.
I'm fed up of people who have nothing better to do with their time than complain about common hurdles which can often occur in life. If I had your attitude, i'd be afraid to leave my house in case I got hit by a bus. You do not endear yourself to me, and personally, I couldn't care less about your own predicament.

today is still a good day  Grin
I'm not clueless, you are clueless. It is your money they are holding onto, why shouldn't you be allowed to invest it in something else now? BTW I am a Spondoolies customer.
268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 30, 2014, 06:27:29 PM
Several hours ago I posted a screenshot asking why I do only have ~250GH/s while the miner is powered with a 1600W PSU and all ASICs looked fine. I restarted the miner and let it run a few hours. Now it looks like this:

It seems that some ASICs can not be detected. What can I do in this case?
Thank you

try diferent PSU (yes i know its 1600W, but really sometimes just PSU is bad)
The thing is that the temps are so low on chain 1 in this pic and your previous one. Something is not right with that first blade. As others have said check out the thermal paste but I think it may be something else. I would contact Bitmain for a RMA.

In the official Spondoolies datacenter in Washington (which should be Titan), the rates are:

$0
$0
$400/mo to $500/mo, depending on whether you pay 3 months in advance or pay month-to-month.

You can see those rates on http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/collections/products.

You can view other hosting options in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.

I think the hosting fees the my SP30 GB will be lower. Waiting for the final specs any time now, but the original offer was for $290 per month. This may change depending on the power consumption.
If your GB stated $290 it should be $290 and nothing more regardless of power consumption. Those were the terms the customer agreed to.
271  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 28, 2014, 06:51:27 PM
I wonder if it has anything to do with slow corner ASICS again. Still bummed out my May batch never goes above 1.3 and I don't even want to know what it pulls at the wall since I had to increase voltage just to get 1.3thash. Was expecting 1.5 based off of the previous batch.  Angry
Are you on US power (120V) or other?  Also, what are your voltage settings?  I have one of the May batch SP10s running in my home, and after tweaking the settings, it hashes at 1.4TH/s, pulling about 1200W from the wall.

Yes, I will get my July sp30 in the next days.

I am obviously not immune in my desire to speculate, as any naturally curious person isnīt.

OK, then. We can make a poll as to what TH Sp-30 will be at:
In my opinion 4-4.5Th. If it is at 3-3.5 th-then it is a shocker.
The initially announced specs were 5.4TH/s, which Spondoolies-Tech later upped to 6TH/s (+- 10%).  I'm guessing actual implementation is showing 4.5-5TH/s... but we won't know actuals until Spondoolies-Tech announces the results of their testing.

I'm running at 240v, can never get to 1.4. Zvisha looked at my logs and told me 1.3 is the best I'm going to get with my unit.

Lets wait then one GB has happened why not a second one.

The first one was sanctioned by Spondoolies and their mouthpiece Roadstress. This guy is rogue on his own and basically trying to organize a bulk purchase without much success by the looks of it. If there is too be a second I would suspect it would be ran by Roadstress again.
274  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 28, 2014, 03:21:51 PM
No news yet from Spondoomies ?
They went into shut down mode.  Reality is too hard to deal with.  We won't hear much from them until they start shipping 2.1TH garbage in April after the lawsuits start.

"Seriously, we know what we are doing"
Their arrogance is biting them in the ass, should have played it cool.

This isn't a group buy it is a scam. OP is nowhere to be found.

New sales will be open tonight 22:00 (UCT +8:00). The shipping date will be before the August 2nd. The price is 0.63BTC per unit.

Coupons will be ready soon. Refund of B1~B3 is in process as well.

The price is already 0.2 BTC higher.

Coupons will be ready soon. Refund of B1~B3 is in process as well.

and only 0.0025 cheaper than Batch3
0.725- 10% = 0.6525BTC

Can it perhaps a little more to raise ?  0.8 BTC  would be even better.
I wanted to buy 6 pcs, but I do not buy none.

I look forward to a more realistic price that can not be increased every two hours.
Same here, I was going to buy 10 but F that at these prices.

The situation is this: After receiving the first batch of RockerBox ASICs, our initial results show a lower hash rate than expected.

Whilst this is not the best of news, you have to hand it to Guy for being honest and upfront once the problem was discovered, many companies wouldn't have been so quick.

I'm with others ... don't judge yet ... let them test and report back, I'm sure they will do the very best they can for people with orders, they've been consistent with everything else so far.

I would have to agree with you, the transparency is refreshing.
279  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 23, 2014, 07:45:33 PM
I sure hope everything is OK with the rockerbox chip and feel for anyone who is in on the pre-order.

Unfortunately, pre-orders put all the risk on the purchaser and leave the manufacturer with tons of money whether they ship on time or not.

I've definitely been there and won't do it again.
That's a lot to be said coming from the guy that was one of the few that came out on top with BFL.

I have just received my 3 Antminers and plugged them in, they have all powered up OK but my SKY Router wont detect them as a device, its like something is blocking them from being detected, I tried 192.168.1.99 but nothing happens and when I try 192.168.0.1 and ask my router to find the attached device it will not detect the Antminer  Huh can anyone help? is it my router that's the problem?
Your router is on a different network. 192.168.0.x is different then 192.168.1.x
If you have a ehternet cable and a spare PC set the PC to a static IP in the 192.168.1.x range, connect to the antminer and change the IP info so it is on the 192.168.0.x network.
