Wow, very efficient miner indeed Smiley

Can you prove your website is legitimate, your account is new.

Read the thread in its entirity ... the man has been made to jump through a thousand hoops already!

But 28 6pin PCI-E connectors for a single rig is mind boggling to say the least. Is the 6 pin PCI-E connector the highest rated power plug that exists?
8 pin is rated at 150W officially, but for our use won't double whatever number each of us is comfortable with on 6 pin as it only adds 2 more ground wires.

not to mention no home outlet will support 3400 watts.. so it would have to be specially wired in its own sub panel. and this thing looks like a fire hazard..
No? You can power it from up to 9 PSUs if you want and split what circuits the PSUs are on as you like.

so i just run extension cords to different outlets? lol

If they were on different circuits, pretty much. I've got 2x 32A and 2x 20A circuits (all 240v) extension-ed into one room so I can test some pretty large things if required.

Did you mean the 3 modules ? yes , you can just connect each module and get around 2.5T hashrate ,
we may use incorrect PSU that make one board have xx , it gave us 7.1T at peak . see following screen shot .

Peak means nothing, it is average that customers are concerned about and that screenshot doesn't give me any warm fuzzies about this product! And 6 fans at 4000rpm, how loud is this thing?

I still find it hard to believe they would sell at a loss. Not a good way to stay in business.
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.319/GH & 0.51W/GH on: July 07, 2015, 07:56:32 PM
He is right ! They always raise the price when the value of bitcoin goes up but when it drops they never lower it !!!!!!!!!!!

You got a point there, but you missed the elephant in the room if you intended to buy with bitcoin. They have held the rate of USD to BTC at an older (lower 1 BTC = USD 262.Cool rate despite the additional $18 increase; google currently states a price of 1BTC = 273 BTC . Truth be told, either way its a ripoff, but they are the ONLY game in town, so we'll have to grin and bear it.

The know this that's why they are doing it. come on spoondoolies come out with new chips I am so sick of BITMAIN aka SHITMAIN.

F**K THEM even if they are the only game in town I still wont buy from them. There going broke there just milking the cow but there not going to milk me !

I'm not taking up for bitmain but what makes you all think spoondoolies or any other vendor or supplier won't do the same thing that's how it is, they will .

IN fact they wil be higher in price. again I'm not taking up for bitmian they just will be .

Not that spondoolies is any better, but the fact is spondoolies before running out of hardware they where the ones pushing the prices down, as soon as spondoolies sold out, bitmain raised their prices significantly. If Spondoolies does come back, lets not forget who is the one raising the prices, and who is pushing them down.

The difference was Spondoolies were selling at a horrific loss, which isn't good for anyone.
Where did you get the info that they sold at a loss, I highly doubt it.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Been reading about a lot of dying sp20's on: July 07, 2015, 05:35:15 PM
Long story short:  They aren't 1.7TH/s miners.  Only a small-ish minority of people have had them consistently run what they claim to, and I imagine these were in ideal conditions (climate controlled data centers). When I was running mine in a ~27*C large basement, the most I could get was about 1550-1600, and that was running fans full blast and chips still HOT.

It would be equivalent to the S5 being released as a 1.45 TH/s miner.

prefect....thanks!

does that mean that the ole sp10's never ran at 1.4 Th/s ?
My SP10's ran between 1.2-1.3. I would get close to 1.4 when the intake air was less than -20c though. Turned them off a couple weeks ago. The silence is so beautiful Smiley
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The combined sidehack-novak usb stick review thread. AKA GekkoScience BM1384 on: June 15, 2015, 05:28:48 PM
Maybe after the USB meter, the next thing to get is a thermal camera module? Wink  ( FLIR reacted to the SEEK by dropping their prices a fair bit.. lower resolution but generally higher quality. )

yeah but the oven temp meter is pretty good. cost = $0

I have also decided to  bump amps to 0.61-0.62   vs 0.6

reason is at 0.6 HW is 2%  at 0.61-0.62 HW is under 1%

so my stick seems very happy at freq 175 and 0.61-0.62 amps  still is that nice 0.31 watt per gh number.
What is the power draw when you figure in the host PC?
6  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: i need a cheap effective rig on: May 29, 2015, 07:23:34 PM
i know jack shit dude. i know nothing of doing this im new.

You will need to know these numbers.   We can tell you not much without them.   Electricity cost you should get a bill once a month and can use it to find it.  And vat/import should be easy to know as it's based on country normally......

Again I ask what is your electricity cost?  And do you have a import tax or vat?

hell i dont know what the electricty bill is cause i dont even pay it so how am i supposed to know? and no i dont cause i am NEW to all this like i have been saying!

Are you usually this helpless or only when it comes to bitcoin mining?
I HAVE NEVER DONE ANY OF THIS OF BEFORE SMARTASS IT SHOULD BE PLAINLY OBVIOUS BY NOW
It is plainly obvious, that you are a troll.  Kiss

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: April 15, 2015, 04:37:39 PM
The product was sold in US$ not Bitcoins. I paid for my order in BTC and received my refund in USD back in April. It was never sold at a set "BTC" price.

If you like to support people associated with criminals give OregonMines a try.

Funny how my S1's that have been sitting in my garage for over 1+ years show no corrosion with temps going between -40 and +40. I wonder what my SP10 looks like inside, however it has been humming (screaming) away since new with no issues other than the noise it makes.

I'm glad you appreciate it. Always best to learn from others mistakes Cheesy

I used to do cable modem installs and would cringe when I would see e-machines. There was a 50% chance the PC would die when installing the Ethernet card!

not that ill buy it nice price for buyout, makes me wonder why so low and does it work . he has a good sell history on Ebay .

was temped till saw i need a controller which might be another 300.
I would be more concerned about this:

"The power socket is darkened, the previous owner used incorrect PSU I believe. It is fully functional, just a cosmetic blemish."
16  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: OregonMines Group Buy $399 Colocated SP20s CC's Accepted on: March 30, 2015, 04:26:06 PM
I purchased an SP20 from OregonMines over the weekend. I have to say that everything has gone smoothly so far, except for the outage that Oregonmines announced in this thread. Even that one hiccup was handled professionally, as they quickly got back to me once I noticed that it was down, gave me an estimate as to when it would be back up, and got it back up within that estimate. They also agreed to credit me for a full day, even though I lost less than a full day.

After expressing interest in purchasing the SP20, I received an invoice generated by Quickbooks from DG Rollins Mining, LLC. The invoice was for the cost of the unit, plus a month's hosting costs. OM agreed to run the unit underclocked, and charged me accordingly. I paid the invoice using bitcoin. I checked my pool about 10 minutes later, and the miner was already running. Other than the downtime mentioned above, the miner has run consistently and at the expected speed.

The one service I wish they offered is the ability to change pools myself through a web interface or something similar. Hopefully this is something that can be added in the future. That said, I haven't had a need to change pools yet, and OM has said that they will change pools upon request. However, especially with hosted services, I like to test out how the miner responds at different pools, so this would be a helpful added feature. I should add that Lee, who I suppose is their competitor, also does not offer this service.

Overall, I'm happy with my experience with OM. It appears to be a professionally run operation.

Thanks for taking the risk Smiley

What's the underclocked performance?

It ranges from 1.38 Ths to 1.42 Ths at the pool, just about what I expected.

Just an update two weeks later, I have not had any downtime or any issues with OM's service.
This is no longer an issue regarding service. You are supporting a company that is associated with theft and fraud to satisfy your own greed. Honestly I hope anyone that invests in this gets burned, you get what you deserve.

Should have been upfront from the beginning, you have lost whatever little credibility you had. It sound like there may be collusion  between you and Matt, this is getting more interesting by the day. Wonder how long it will take the authorities to visit Oregon Mines and start asking some valid questions.

This was run by the same scammers that run Minersource, don't expect anything back from Bobsag.

I wonder if WTCR.CA has any communication with FC or his gang of crooks anymore. WTCR was a major distributor for them in 2013\2014. I know that the owner Joe used to be in constant communication with them.
