I ordered four units yesterday and confirmed my wire transfer. I have emailed but have not heard back. When can I expect to get these in the USA. I did not realize the jewish holidays may delay these and it did not say that on the site at all. Will you be shipping today?

jpass022, have you worked with the SP-Tech guys to tweak your settings? I don't know enough about the settings to recommend something to you. I used the settings that Zvi put on the tech blog on spondoolies site and played around to get where I am now. By increasing my max voltage to 0.75 - which I did after sending that initial screenshot, I am now getting about 1.34TH/s, so a bit of an increase there. As you can see, I'm still playing around with settings to try to find the best values for my setup  As you increase the voltage your efficiency drops. I wonder what you are pulling at the wall to get your hashrate, I'm sure it is higher than the .7 figure that Roadstress uses. |

You have updated the speed to 1.4-1.45 Thash. Is the June batch going to consist of faster ASICS? I have yet to break 1.35 with my SP10 even with 18 degree intake temps.

I have been having much more consistent payouts since I moved there after over a year at BTCGUILD. Since they are so large they don't get hung up on bad blocks for as long letting you get more rounds in during a single difficulty period.

I have a late May unit, and it's only averaging ~1300 GH/s at the pool (BtcGuild) using the "turbo fans, highest rate" setting. Is there anything I can do to increase performance?
This unit is running in a data center using 208v power, and temperatures are good (27C front, 69C back). I was expecting a bit more, so hopefully there are tweaks I can make to increase performance and this isn't just a low performing unit.
I have the same thing on 2 units. Me too  Was hoping to be on the other side of the +/ - Will the June batch be a different run of chips? |

HI Nice mining room.... a few things. I think changing from s1 to s2 miners would be a good option... what is it s1 mine at 180-200ghs and a s2 mines at 1th and use much less power and puts out much less heat... selling 5 s1 mining on ebay could net you $1k-1.5k depending on what you sell them for and how soon you sell them... so you would only need to invest another $500 to get 1 x s2 miner for every 5 x s1 miners you have right now.. or what about something like these miners.. http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/spondoolies-tech-sp10-dawson-miner-masterpiece-bitcoin-miner/2014/05/28and get a data cabinet like this..  you could find something second-hand for cheap on ebay I sure last thing what are you doing about security for the shed and the miners... you don't want people walking off with them... S2 is not spoonfed. I have to open the unit and inspect for loose parts. It was exciting to put back parts to its working condition. If you want to spoon feed then consider Spoondofeed machines

Unit is full of Dust on the Top? that look not too good...
Tested 4 of the Dragon A1 1T miner units. They are heavily used and had layers of dust. Just be aware of what your getting. I would ask for pics of the machine not only on the outside but the inside and ask for pictures of actual miner to be shipped so that you know what your getting. The only plus so far is that all 4 machines work with any issues so far but they are not new but heavily used. unfortunately this is the norm no matter what they say, they wont have 60THs sitting in boxes till someone buys them, thats about 3 coins a day,;maybe 40 coins before they sell the 60 units and at todays prices its $1800 aday. They all do it, its cost covering or whatever they want to call it. I dont mind as long as price could be honourable and decent and the custom declaration was good, what will you declare for customs shipped to u.k, and pm me best price for 20 units. thanksThat is no excuse. If I buy a new car I don't expect it to have been driven for 2 months before hitting the dealers lot. |
