621  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech launches a new line of ASIC miners - Best W/GH/s ratio on: March 26, 2014, 01:43:19 PM
But so far, NOBODY has beat bitmain at delivering miners to customers in a timely fashion.

Bitfury?

ftfy  Wink
Bitfury?  asicminer, with the right distributor  Wink

@Spondoolies-Tech
(when) can I expect an answer?

ASICMINER was grossly overpriced and shit hardware. These are the cats ass in comparison if they can deliver from within stock Smiley

It may be cold here in Canada but atleast we only have to pay under $30 for import fees! That VAT really suck that EU customers have to pay.

With the blockchain hold up it would have been nice to get some. Pretty sure I am done buying ants unless there is a crazy incentive.

Mine just showed up 1 week total shipping time. Cant really complain considering the Blockchain outage and the fact these came all the way from China. Both units were clean, one from December and the other from January batch.

Were there problems with todays payout? I'm still not seeing my coins from this morning.

TXID: cb99a0ee184ced5f0433805b52d7150de0d3956b8777413d4cc18d4aad0194

That transaction has over 70 confirmations.  You missed part of the ID (cb99a0ee184ced5f0433805b52d7150de0d3956b8777413d4cc18d4aad0194a6).  It had *many* confirmations as of the time of your posting, so make sure your wallet is sync'd.  If you use a web wallet (WHYYYYYYYY!?!?!), contact their support.

I had it sent to my Blockchain wallet. I will follow up with them.

Has anyone done Titan mining calcs they can share?

At 100 Mh/s, it is almost impossible to ROI if you are only looking at Litecoin, better off buying LTC.  Things do get more interesting if KnC over-deliver (150 Mh?) and if they can deliver middle of Q2/Q3, tape out in early May and ship by end of July?  If they would allow refund then it might be a good hedge against LTC price drop since unlike buying LTC, you are not locked into the loss if you can get a refund before shipment and you still gain if LTC value goes up.  However since there is no refund, the other advantage as someone has already pointed out is there could be some newer and more profitable scrypt-based alt coin (like dogecoin) in the future that can become more popular and make the Titan profitable for longer.  Unlike Neptune since bitcoin is so dominating, there probably won't be a new SHA-256 coins that will become popular and gain much value, so you are stuck mining bitcoin that will continue its decline in profitability.

And who is ONLY looking at Litecoin?

http://coinchoose.com/

If these run on Multipool all altcoins are going to be decimated.

Just getting some sun in Wink

But in all seriousness, turbo and 'normal' modes are way too loud edit: for now in a residential setting. The names are a bit misleading though and 'normal' is actually to run at a high ambient of 31C. Running 'normal' at normal room temp will get the same hash rates as turbo was designed to do. Working now at getting quiet mode even quieter (its the PSU which is very loud at the moment), but its promising. Also designing the real cooling mods which are looking promising at the moment - just want to get this PSU out of the way first.

I don't know what sort of cooling mods you are going to do without putting it in something larger than a 1U enclosure. You need to dissipate the heat somehow. Just curious what sort of engineering background you have?

Hopefully they give some coupons. My ants I ordered Monday still haven't shipped, it will have been a 2 week delay by the time I get them.

Whatever man the drivers for my jally were a bitch to install. The S1 is way easier.
635  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Building Antminer Shed. Any suggestions on design or air flow? on: March 20, 2014, 10:51:55 PM
Rather than go through all that extra trouble and cost I would rather just buy an additional ant especially if you are running a larger amount like 10+. Waste of $ imo.
636  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Where are you mining? on: March 20, 2014, 10:25:31 PM
This new "unknown" pool/set of pools is disconcerning....

https://blockchain.info/blocks/Unknown. Found 31 blocks in last 24 hours and 22% of the network already

KNC?

I moved to GHASH because I couldn't handle the bad luck on the Guild anymore and the day I go to finally use PPS for this first time they remove it 6 hours later. Sad

I've been pretty happy with my payouts so far, I'd like to see a comparison of Eclipse PPS vs GHASH

I'm going to bump this daily. So whats the deal? Has anyone other than Bobsag, DZ or ThomasS made any money off these group buys?

No communication, No miners ... bullshit.
640  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Scaling Up From Nothing on: March 20, 2014, 02:57:53 PM
S2 will be quieter, cooler and draw less energy so for some it may be a better deal depending on the heat the unit does or does not put out. If it runs relatively cool you will recoup costs on AC savings.
