521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular on: December 08, 2022, 10:13:50 PM
This is nothing too new to discuss and everyone knows this, the bank is the agency representing the government so it is not strange that they take advantage of this bear season to spread FUDS for bitcoin. But this won't make them better than bitcoin, no need to FUDS for bitcoin to drop more because a lot of people are expecting bitcoin to drop to buy more.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should be my fear? on: December 08, 2022, 10:04:22 PM
what should be my fear?

You should:

Fear of being among the weak hands
Fear having not much information about Bitcoin
Fear of not having trust in the Bitcoin market
Fear that you will chicken out the moment the Bitcoin price plummet.
Fear that you don't have enough patience to wait for the next bull run and new ATH of BTC.
Fear that you would listen to all the FUD and negative sentiments of Banks and Anti-Bitcoin groups

In short, there is nothing to fear as long as you have patience and trust to what you are investing.

Fear is a normal human response when we don't understand what it is, so to not be afraid, we need to understand it. OP should equip themselves with bitcoin knowledge so that they don't have to be scared every time the market has Fuds.

Another thing is don't invest with money you can't lose, bitcoin can give you profit, it can also take your money, in investment, profit and risk always go together.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 08, 2022, 05:49:26 AM
ICC always favours India, which is a known truth. ICC is under the political influence from the ruling government. Everytime there arises some controversy, the government does politics out of it and convert the people into votes. ICC needs to be allowed to function without the political pressure. If that happens surely we don't see such problems arising.
ICC goes with the majority opinion. Out of the 10 test nations apart from India and Pakistan, how any would actually side openly with Pakistan? So we can't really blame the ICC. Even last month, the BCCI got their proxy (Greg Barclay) elected as the chairman of the ICC. Boards such as the PCB couldn't even put up a candidate against the BCCI proxy. The way to move forward is to include more teams with test status. But if they give test status to teams such as UAE and Oman, then once again it will give more power to the BCCI.
I don’t know about any government, but I am sure that ICC is certainly under the influence of the Indian cricket board. Because the Indian cricket board brings in the most amount of money for them. So, I believe that they are often quite scared to lose the most amount of revenue which is generated by the BCCI. So probably ICC has to favor India in some cases, even if they do not want to.

The way to move forward is to include more teams with test status. But if they give test status to teams such as UAE and Oman, then once again it will give more power to the BCCI.
Lol that's funny. Ireland and Afghanistan are now full members and how many tests these guys have played? Just 9 in last 5 years.
What's the benefit of giving full test nation status to everyone when they are not even playing, Unless you are looking for funding.
Funding is important but if anyone wants to support new teams then ICC funding should be diverted toward LOIs (white ball), not Test format.
I also think that ICC should concentrate on finding shorter formats of cricket. Because this cricket is already a lost cause. No one is going to be able to bring back the glory days of test cricket. T-20 is really popular right now. And before ODI loses its popularity, ICC should do something about it. But I think the main concentration should be in the T-20 format. Because that is the only format that will actually be able to bring in new teams.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were the government, how would you fight against bitcoin? on: December 05, 2022, 05:57:56 AM
If governments really want to ban bitcoin, they just need to band together, ban all miners, trade and be ready to jail life in prison if someone tries to violate it, bitcoin will die instantly at at that moment. There are ways for the government to ban bitcoin but the problem is that banning bitcoin is not in their favor either. Instead of ban, they will impose regulation and they will be able to tax us, which gives them more benefits than a ban.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Alternative to Bitcoin, Your Alternative is Bitcoin. on: December 05, 2022, 05:54:34 AM

There's no boundaries or limitation to the widespread of bitcoin adoption and it acceptance in any financial and economical settings, this makes it more courageous to go for bitcoin even as this present general economy downturn with inflation everywhere, bitcoin has been spotted on several occasions to be the best alternative to this, learn about bitcoin today, invest and hold, bitcoin is a profitable investment and asset.

Most people will not easily accept new things, and it will always take some time for people to adapt to the emergence of Bitcoin. Perhaps many people have only heard about Bitcoin in the news, and some negative news made them FUD, so they are still hesitant.
Although it cannot be denied that Bitcoin is a good choice and it brings many benefits to investors, it cannot be forced on everyone.

Yes, bitcoin may be good for us but not necessarily good for others, people who are rich enough they won't need bitcoin because they have enough money, money has become not so important to them. Or those who do not like to take risks, bitcoin is not for them, without bitcoin many people still become rich. So bitcoin is just an alternative.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vision on: December 05, 2022, 05:49:23 AM
Your prediction is too far, it is better to focus on the present. If I were you, I would focus on accumulating bitcoin from now on and hold until the time is good enough to get the best profit. What the future of bitcoin will look like, let it prove and time will tell. Don't try to predict the future when nothing is certain, it may be true as you say or it will also disappear when something better takes its place. The future is unpredictable.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 05, 2022, 05:42:51 AM
Bitcoin as so many advantages as an assets it change people's lives globally today without bitcoin some people would have still they suffering, the main is for you to make your transaction with depending on anyone.

Bitcoin changes many people's lives but not everyone will become richer, there are many people investing in bitcoin losing and losing a lot. Bitcoin is a highly profitable investment but needs analysis and research, if you buy bitcoin for $69k, you are currently making a loss, not a profit.
I started Bitcoin with more than 50,000 US dollars, although I saw people in the forum often said that long-term holding requires faith and faith. But what I want to say is that this process is very painful. I see my assets slowly draining day by day. Coupled with the economic downturn in recent years, sometimes ideals lose to reality.

Long-term holding will definitely bring you profit but you also need to remember, if you can buy bitcoin at low price then the profit it gives you will be better. But if you buy it at a high price, it won't necessarily make you lose but the profit will be very small. As you said it looks like you bought bitcoin at a high price, what you need to do now is absolutely not sell, hold until bitcoin recovers. No selling is no loss, 1btc=1btc.

Bet on India when the odds were close to 4 and almost won it, but the Indian bowlers and KL Rahul messed up with the last wicket. Such high odds in this match seriously surprised me.
When Bangladesh lost their 7th wicket the odds for Bangladesh winnings was 14 and i never thought in the wildest imagination that Bangladesh would win from that position. 51 runs partnership for the 10th wicket and winning the game was incredible.
I never imagined that Bangladesh would win this match after the ninth wicket fell for 136 runs. Despite the low target, the Indian bowlers were performing very well. Every bowler bowled well enough. And they were able to take the wicket of Bangladesh very quickly. But the Indian team is caught by Mehdi Miraj's extraordinary responsible batting. I would say they are very unlucky. Bangladesh, on the other hand, won thanks to the performance of their two all-rounders, Shakib and Miraj. The performance of Bangladesh's batsmen is still very bad. Shanto has been underperforming for a long time, yet is consistently given opportunities.
This is where it once again confirms that the bowling isn't that good with India. Team able to take the 9th wicket at 136 runs and unable to make an all out before 186 is the indication of poor bowling performance. In the match the batting is bad and now the bowling too hadn't given hands reaching close to victory.

For a long time we have seen poor Indian bowling. The main reason for India's poor performance in the World Cup is their poor bowling. While India has a lot of talented batsmen in its pipeline, they don't have good bowlers. Mother Indian bowlers are also able to perform well on the bowling support pitch. If BCCI does not find suitable bowlers for their squad before the next ODI World Cup, then we will not get a good performance from India in the next World Cup as well.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2022, 02:13:22 AM
No one was expecting decision like this from England and Ben Stokes, but they play a big gamble and most chances this will go in their favour specially after wicket of Babar Azam now Pakistani batting lineup is under pressure, and they will not play freely which will help English bowling on fifth day of this test match and this dead match is now going to end in a very entertaining way all praises to England and their management.
Imam-ul-Haq and Saud Shakeel has built a good partnership after losing the first two wickets too quickly. England bowlers got a little success by taking the two early wickets. Babar Azam and Shafique, both players got centuries in the first innings. Therefore Pakistan is really under pressure. But they have a good opportunity to win the match. Rizwan and Azhar Ali have to take the responsibilities in the second innings. Everything will depend on the first session of tomorrow. England bowlers will try to pick some quick wickets in the morning.
Do you think we will see any results of this match? Pakistan needed just 263 runs to win on the final day. It is not a big target if the Pakistani players can stay at the crease. I think Pakistan will win this match if they don't lose wickets in the first session tomorrow. Pakistan lost two wickets for just 25 runs and was in trouble. But Imam Ul Haque and SHakeel are now batting very responsibly. If these two players are able to prolong their partnership, I don't think Pakistan will have any problem to win this match. But batting on the last day and staying at the crease is very difficult.
Pakistan is going to have a good chance of winning this match. In my opinion. Pakistan has a whole day to play and also have eight wickets in hand.
Pakistan is going to need 263 runs to win on the last day. We have to remember that one player of Pakistan is currently retired hurt.
So, Pakistan will have to be careful going for the win.
Yesterday i said that there was not going to be any outcome of this match, except for a draw, but right now a draw seems to be highly unlikely to happen.
More 263 runs seems to be reachable target. Pakistan had a great first innings, and something similar will bring result to the match at the earliest. Most of them expected this to be a draw, but now match moves towards result. I think England have made a miscalculation. Lets watch what's gonna happen in the final day.
I will not say that reaching the target of 263 runs is impossible. Because Pakistan's batsmen proved their ability in the first innings. They batted very well and scored 579 runs. But the problem is that it is difficult to survive in the creek in the last days. The pitch becomes slow, the batsmen cannot bat well. However, I would say both teams have equal chances to win. Pakistan will win if Imam Ul Haque, Rizwan and Naseem bat well. Or they lose. The chances of the match being a draw are very low.

I think the outcome of this match will depend a lot on the performance of both teams in the first session. If Pakistan can bat well in the first session and not lose more than one wicket, then I would say Pakistan will win this match. But if Pakistan loses 2/3 wickets in the first session, then it will be very difficult for Pakistan to get back on track. Collecting 263 runs in 90 overs is not a very difficult task.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: December 04, 2022, 09:22:07 AM
Morocco won first place and met the requirements. Senegal placed second and earned qualification. Tunisia defeated France despite being eliminated
Ghana missed the cut but Suarez also didn't make it, so they are happy. Cameroon failed to qualify but overcame Brazil.
The World Cup is going well for Africa so far. Cameroon merits recognition because they have produced some of the best football ever played. Congratulations to Cameroon, even if they eliminated my country, Algeria, I'm delighted an African team took action.

The performance of African teams in this World Cup was very good. They have won against big and renowned teams from Europe and America. Generally African groups are always neglected by Europeans. But in this World Cup African teams have proved that they are not behind. I would expect Morocco and Senegal not to be eliminated from the round of 16. They will qualify for the quarter finals.

Quote
I think with Newcastle already in the top four, I'm sure they will be able to keep it up and will play in the Champions League next season. Therefore, in the upcoming transfer market I believe there will be at least a few star players in the Newcastle squad, because of course they will also create an even better squad to be able to compete strongly in the Champions League next season.
With high competitiveness of Premier League, I don't think Newcastle will be able to stand in top four for every season. They will be in and out of top four of Premier League because other clubs like Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester City are too much for only four positions.

Newcastle's performance this season has surprised everyone. They have won their last 5 matches. And I forget the last time they lost a match. With no star players in the squad, Newcastle has been able to play consistently well. Newcastle is performing well as a team. And full credit to Newcastle's coach for this remarkable performance. If Newcastle adds some talented players in the next winter transfer they will be stronger and will try to win the title.

Argentina did not allow surprises, but I can say that the lucky goal of Australia changed the color of the work. At the last minute, with the hope of maybe a draw, Australia attacked Argentina's goal, but this time they gave a deficit in their defense. Argentina counterattacked well, but I think Lotharo Martinez's last shots were a haircut. Fortunately, Australia couldn't score and Argentina went to the next round. Now it's not an easy task for rivals Netherlands and Argentina. The favorite may be Argentina, but the stronger team. I think it's from the Netherlands. The Netherlands is one step ahead.

I have seen the performance of both teams in the entire match. I would say Australia are very lucky that they managed to score a goal. Australia was able to score mainly because of Hernandes' mistake. Throughout the match we saw the dominance of Argentina's players. They have performed very well. Argentina's players attacked a lot. But Argentina managed to score only two goals due to Australia's complete defensive gameplay.

Chelsea are known for giving coaches their first major breakthrough so if it also happened to Graham Potter I won't be surprised. Before Sarri came to Chelsea, he has never won any major trophy irrespective of managing big clubs, Chelsea gave him his first trophy and made him a search after coach. Graham Potter will definitely win cups with Chelsea it mightn't be this season but this is definitely going to be the building blocks as he'll be using this season to observe his players but still give us something we can hold onto as he gets his own players next season.

Maybe you are right. Giving Graham Potter a chance to work independently could solve all of Chelsea's problems. But we cannot say for sure. The whole situation of the Chelsea team is unstable now. They are not able to perform well as a team. So it is likely that Graham Potter will make some changes to their squad next season. But first he should fix his match strategy. Consistently good performance is impossible without a proper match strategy.

In this season Arsenal is doing amazing job, and we can expect improvement in coming weeks but can they keep this momentum, and we will be able to watch them as winner of the two titles because they are capable of having amazing stuff and new player's entry can bring more success with good and strong competition.

As Arsenal have started the season and continued their form, they are undoubtedly the frontrunners to win the title this season. Arsenal is financially sound. I think they will try their best to win the title this season. And if necessary, they will spend money to add new talented players to the squad. Arsenal is still 5 points ahead of Manchester City. They will definitely want to maintain this gap.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 04, 2022, 09:04:21 AM
At the moment, Napoli is the most likely, but when you look in the mirror from last season, like when Milan was far enough ahead or Inter, who were already safe with 7 points at that time, but had to get worse due to clear consistency, this must be taken into account, in my opinion, even though so far Napoli has been very strong but the chances they are still there to lose but the problem is that there are no other clubs that have shown their capacity, especially for big clubs.
As I mentioned before in Bundesliga and Ligue 1, the problem with Bayern and PSG dominating titre for long, isn't the fact that they are winning all games but it is the problem with the other teams losing easy ones!
Serie A is different on the team that is leading while the others aren't that far but are far from staying consistant and stop losing their games. If this happens then Napoli could risk its place.
But for now it might be a little different in my opinion. At the moment, the most likely to follow, at first I felt that it was only Inter, Milan and Juventus, but right now Juventus is not doing well because problems have returned to them, which makes me a little less sure about Juventus even though the players have recovered. For Milan also their financial situation is still chaotic which makes me not sure they can defend the title and Atalanta is slowly now the same as last season which makes this a big advantage for Napoli.

Compared to how Juventus performed at the start of the season, their performance is now much more stable. Juventus is now third in the points table. Atalanta and Roma, on the other hand, have dropped points in their last few matches and are now far behind. If Napoli don't lose the truck they will be able to maintain their dominance in Serie A this season. and will win the title unopposed. On the other hand, teams like Milan, Juventus and Roma are aiming to qualify for the Champions League.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 04, 2022, 08:56:12 AM
The catch Litton Das took to dismiss Virat Kohli is incredible, the pitch looks really slow and the ball is gripping a lot and the batsman needs to settle before playing their shots and Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul is in the crease and they need to spend some time and hopefully build a partnership because there is not many established batsman after this pair.
Surprisingly so far their fielding has been top-notch including in-field which I didn't expect.

KL Rahul will save the day and cement his position in the WC team again, only to shit the bed in the ICC tournament, and that too in an important match. Having said that middle order is his natural position in LOIs as wicket keeper batter.

I am very disappointed with the performance of the Indian batsmen. Such bad batting was not expected. Scoring 200 runs is now challenging for India. After losing 8 wickets at the end of 39 overs, India collected 168 runs. KL Rahul is still at the crease. If he gets out, India's innings will end very quickly. KL Rahul is unbeaten on 63 runs. India can control the match if they set a target of 220.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is BTC to the Society? on: December 03, 2022, 11:34:17 PM
Have be thinking about the importance of cryptocurrency, especially BTC in our society today and the nearest future. And how is going to improve the Society especially our environment and economic.
Except for the fact that we will have more control over our money and probably the additional financial transparency, I don't see a lot of improvements happening in the society. Money will still be money and all social factors of the society are still going to remain same, only that cross border payments will become easier and biggest advantage that financial transparency will reach an altogether new level never seen by anyone so far.

Strictly speaking, bitcoin only makes an impact on individuals but not on society. Currently, bitcoin is also a part of the world economy, but it is still just an investment, not bringing too much impact to society as well as helping the economy of a country to go up. So bitcoin is not really important to a country's society or economy.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin? on: December 03, 2022, 11:28:57 PM
Leaving sentiments asides, will you advise someone to still buy some Bitcoins (Not up to the value of 1)  if they have an amount of money that will be okay to purchase the equivalent of 1 of a good altcoin with a strong community? Is having some bitcoins (in decimals) more valuable still than having the value of one good altcoin?
My opinion Bitcoin investment no risky because thay currency buy most people.Bitcoin king of crypto market. So I believe bitcoin not altcoin. This is huge volume crypto market.Alt coin some time profit but most time Risky. So people didn't risky coin buy.So I therefore my opinion Bitcoin investment people Most time profitable.

Although bitcoin being the king of crypto does not mean bitcoin is risk-free, bitcoin is still considered a risky investment because of its volatility as well as world recognition for it is not yet universal. The future of bitcoin is still a question mark and uncertain like gold or other real assets, so whether it's bitcoin or altcoins, we only invest with what we can lose.

I believe everyone in BCCI, stakeholders, including fans are aware of this reality.
Yeah WNBA is kinda subsidized by NBA in general so that would be a challenge in WIPL too and the goal should be self sufficiency in the longer run, even if it faces some roadblocks for a year or two.
My opinion is slightly different. IMO, there is enough fan support for the women's game in India, to make the WIPL profitable from the first year itself. We'll get to know the full picture once the auction for franchises is completed. There is a good chance that the final price may be much higher than what the BCCI has as the reserve. Already a lot of sponsors and advertisers are lining up for the first edition of the WIPL. And don't expect multi-million salaries that the players enjoy in the IPL. For the WIPL, salaries will be much lower.
kro55 and I didn't mean to imply that our girls have no support at all.
I guess yesterday BCCI made some changes in their rules regarding base price, now i suppose it's not fixed at 400cr, it could be less. There are not much details but they are not doing e-auction. We should get more info in next few days. Yeah i agree sponsors are lined up so this shouldn't be a problem, i hope the existing franchise (especially MI, CSK, RCB) gets the teams.

Honestly, right now India has a lot of support for women cricketers. And that support is increasing day by day. But when the WIPL takes place, let me tell you that not a lot of people are going to come to that matches consistently.

Probably a few people are going to come for the first few matches. Probably because it’s the first women’s IPL. And probably there will be people for the final. But I don’t think the attendance is going to be consistent, or I should say, consistently high like the men’s IPL.
