541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2022, 03:48:58 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) is a cryptocurrency, a virtual
currency designed to act as money and a form of
payment outside the control of any one person,
group, or entity.

it failed being money or a form of payment .
in current state , bitcoin is a virtual asset with limited supply .

It is a virtual asset, not real but it can be used to replace currency or become a method of payment or even an investment. And nowadays most people just consider bitcoin as a profitable investment rather than using bitcoin in other circumstances. Everyone just wants profit, nothing more, nothing less.
542  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: December 02, 2022, 03:44:23 PM
Centralized cryptocurrency exchanges are like banks. There is no absolutely safe bank and no absolutely safe exchange. Because there are a large number of hackers attacking exchanges or banks all the time.
Several centralized exchanges have been hacked (equivalent to billions of dollars in cryptocurrency stolen) in the past.

I wonder if they really got hacked or did they makeup everything to steal investors' money and then blame the hackers. I believe it was not a hacker attack but the project developers themselves did it. Cryptocurrency is a market full of scams and we should accept the risk before deciding to participate. Don't blame someone if we lose our money, because you just need to invest in bitcoins and store them on a non-custodial wallet, no one can scam you.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: December 02, 2022, 03:36:28 PM

If you are not comfy with a centralized exchange, feel free to use DEX. That's what many people say too.
Using a DEX can help you hide your identity, but it's not completely secure, so be careful with a DEX, never trust anyone too much.
Everyone is loud blaming regulation, government and centralized exchange instead of blaming themselves. Didn't they themselves decide to get involved with all centralized things?

Exactly, people will usually blame anyone when they lose money on an investment. They often don't take their share of the blame but they forget that no one is forcing them to put money into those exchanges.

I know that Ronaldo is a rich person, and he probably has a lot of money so he doesn't "need" more money but to refuse that kind of money never made any sense to me. First of all he is no longer the type of guy that can lead a UCL level team, I mean Sherrif was in UCL last year, I do not mean that, I mean a team that is looking to win the whole thing, he won't be there.
So, if there is really an offer for 220 million to him, he should take it and then he could maybe have a chance to buy a whole team in the future. This dude could potentially have 400-500 million in the bank from what we understood on that interview, get another 220 on there and we are talking about at least 700 million, he could make some more deals and get another 300 from ads and sponsorships and promotions, and for 1 billion dollars you may not get City or Liverpool, but you could definitely buy some club.
Really the money is big even he has money and a rich player in this generation he would have accepted the money because we have seen rich players like him became poor because probably after retired from football they have nothing in doing so they spend from the football savings and after when everything has been exhausted they became poor. Now my question bis that, after when has left Manchester United where will he go ?

Cristiano Ronaldo is a successful businessman. And I think this thought must have crossed his mind. That type of money that he has, he can obviously do a lot of things with it. Right now, I absolutely believe that he does not need his salary to live. Because he gets enough money generated through his sponsorships and other activities. Will Cristiano Ronaldo buy a club in the future? I guess we will see when the time comes.

545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 28, 2022, 12:57:48 AM
Morocco really cannot be underestimated, because Morocco previously managed to draw against Croatia with a score of 0-0 and then Morocco was able to beat Belgium with a score of 2-0. It was a quite surprising result for me, because I predicted earlier that in Group F it might belong to Croatia and Belgium.
But with a result like this, I'm very sure that Morocco will qualify for the next round, because in the last match Morocco will play against Canada, which I think Morocco still has a big chance of getting points.
Indeed. Marocco is undefeated so far, they got 1 draw and 1 win. It is clear that Marocco is a strong team, they got full points against Belgium and got 1 point against Croatia. These teams aren't weak teams, Marocco always got points although they played against strong teams. In the last match, Marocco will play against Canada, I am sure they will win and get 3 points because Canada is the weakest team in Group F. Sure, Marocco seems to qualify for the next round, I assume Marocco will lead Group F with 7 points. Croatia will play against Belgium, it won't be easy for Croatia. Belgium must play all out because they won't be eliminated in the group stage. I predict Croatia will get a draw in the last match.

There is no doubt that the match between Croatia and Belgium is going to be very interesting and very competitive in my opinion. Both teams are very capable. It is evident that both of them have the ability to complement each other. Having said that, I'm not sure, but I think Croatia should have the advantage entering into this match, because you know that they are at the top of that group (Group-F). But other than that, I believe this match is going to be a 50/50 fight for both teams.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 27, 2022, 09:59:06 PM
It is interesting if we look at the statistics of the players from Ligue 1, where Paris Saint Germain players are at the top of the line in terms of scoring goals and also scoring assists. In the top scorer record while Mbappe leads with 12 goals, followed by Neymar with 11 goals, in 3rd place is Terrem Moffi from Lorient with 10 goals. Meanwhile, on the list of names for assist scorers, Messi was the top name with 10 assists, followed by Neymar with 9 assists. These 3 Paris Saint Germain players are in the top positions in Ligue 1 statistics. With this, there is no doubt that they are a team that really dominates in all respects, be it management, finances, players, and so on. It would be a shame if they couldn't become champions.
It's not too strange about this because you can already guess what their condition will be like, especially with the quality of the players from other clubs who are actually very far away when compared to them, so something like this will definitely happen.
I personally feel in this case with the productivity they have in terms of goals, of course this will make a significant difference later.

There is no doubt that the players are having a good time on the field. I would like to point out that the forward three, especially that group, are probably making the best attack at the moment. There is a problem, however, in that PSG has a bad track record when it comes to choking in the Champions League. So, I am not so confident that they will be able to perform well in the Champions League. However, I am confident that they will be able to perform well in the Ligue 1 if they work hard. Due to the fact that there is not much competition for them in any case.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 24, 2022, 09:44:12 PM
Among the UEFA teams, only Germany has so far underperformed, right? I expected Senegal to give tough fight to the Netherlands, but then one of their top players (Sadio Mane) couldn't play in the tournament as a result of injury. Also, I expected trouble for France as well, due to the absence of Paul Pogba and Karim Benzema. But in the end, they pulled out a very easy win over Australia. For today we have 3 matches involving UEFA teams. Out of them the most exciting on will be between Brazil and Serbia. The latter are in very good recent form, but can they challenge the no.1 team in the world?
Well, technically by that logic Argentina underperformed as well, and there are some other teams that could have won but got a tie as well so I guess them too. At the end of the day, these are the first games and we shouldn't judge them too quickly, some situations raised when the problem means only 3 games and they could maybe do worse, but at the end of the day the group games are not over yet and just first games can't decide who will go up or not.
Let’s wait and see, it will be decided eventually and we will be doing better or worse accordingly. I personally believe both Argentina and Germany will go up in their group stages and will play further levels.
Argentina losing their first game doesn't mean anything to me, they can do well in their next matches. The Mistake they made was they were not focused and they were always wanted to score without know that Saudi Arabia was playing a tackics games. And remember Saudi Arabia coach told the players that the first half was like a friendly match therefore they should play why they are there and they played why they are there. Argentina will wake up from their sleep in the next Matches.

Argentina's dream of winning the World Cup is not over yet. Argentina is a very strong team. They unfortunately lost the first match. However, they have the ability to win the next two matches quite well. Poland and Mexico are not very strong. If Argentina plays well in the next two matches, Argentina will win easily. But since Argentina lost the first match, they have to win the next matches. Players will be under pressure. And I look forward to seeing how they perform under pressure.

One of the things I'm curious about is how strong Chelsea will be able to return after this long break.
Because their performance has been really poor for a long time. Potter is still having big difficulties in finding the right game plan for the team. They have big problems on scoring goals these days as well. Many of us must have underlined this already. Therefore I wonder what Chelsea are planning to solve this problem. There are some rumours like they aren't interested in bringing Ronaldo as well. Then I wonder if they are even thinking of making a striker signing in January.
Chelsea have been a bit short of goals in their attack and despite having 3 attacking options Aubameyang, Sterling and Broja they seem to lacking in their conversion rate and need a more productive attacker who is capable of converting these chances. Ronaldo can do the job but the question is if Chelsea are willing to sign Ronaldo to be that option.

Not only is Chelsea weak in attack, but their defense is also weak. In 14 matches they scored 17 goals and conceded 17 goals. So I don't think signing Ronaldo will solve all of Chelsea's problems. They have to come up with a change in match strategy. At the same time, they need more experienced players in attack and defense. But I don't think there will be much change in their performance this season.

But isn't this related to his talks with CZ about the proof of reserve that they're talking about? Maybe that's all this tweet is about. Who knows, these elite things, they're the only ones that understands each others back and words.
I don't think they're talking about proof of reserve, it's not as big of a deal as he mentioned. In my opinion, what he meant was something negative for the market rather than positive news. I think he is referring to Genesis Trading has stopped withdrawing, Genesis is part of Grayscale, they are the largest bitcoin fund in the world. This is information that has caused extreme panic for the market in recent days.

Ok so, Manchester is going through a rough phase. They already released Cristiano Ronaldo and the club is now for sale. Cristiano is apparently dealing with Real Madrid and they might just grab him. As for Manchester, there is still no one interested in buying the club. Will be this the end of Manchester United?
Ronaldo and Man United have reached an agreement to part ways after a controversial interview Ronaldo conducted a few days ago with Piers Morgan. After Ronaldo was unemployed because he was not bound by a contract with any club, the issue of Ronaldo's transfer has now graced the British, European and even world media. Now Ronaldo is focusing on the Portugal national team which is struggling in the world cup, Ronaldo will announce his new club in January because at that time the clubs will carry out their winter transfer activities.
Absolutely the end turned out to be the best option for all parties because the tension has been increasingly alarming and has gotten to the point where seperation is the best option so I'm happy it is happening. We shall see what next for Ronlado after the split will he retire or will he move to a new club for now there are no dramas and no court sanctions so it is all good in the end.
I think his agents are already actively working on making sure he finds a team in the winter transfer window, because otherwise he will have to end his football career and it is not the best option to do it this way. By the way, it is funny that he is the only player at the World Cup who is unemployed...

Ronaldo's career is going to end very quickly if he stays with Manchester United. Bayern Munich was rumored to be interested in signing Ronaldo. And Ronaldo wants to join Real Madrid. If Bayern Munich wants to take Ronaldo to the team, he will probably join the Munich team in the winter transfer. Because if he stays with Munich, he will have a chance to win the Champions League this season.

Allegri did an amazing job if truth be told. He fought really hard to maintain a good record for Juventus even with the injuries recorded in the early rounds of the season. It is sad that out of the five players still on injury four are uncertain of their return. Their exit from the champions league is quit understandable the still have hope in the Europa league and i hope more players recover before the heat of the Europa sets in.
But indeed, in this case, not everyone looks further, and not a few even criticize the way it works, even though in this case we know that Allegri's condition is not very good because he has lost a lot of his core players.
I think this could be a moment of awakening again for Allegri. He is now getting back injured players and Juventus' condition has also started to improve indirectly this silences oblique remarks about him.

Even if Allegri gets his injured players back, I don't think their performance will change much. Because this season Allegri has brought in Pogba and Di Maria to strengthen his squad. But we don't know yet if these two players can adapt to the Juventus team. However, Juventus' performance is now quite consistent. Although their squad is not very strong, their performance is quite stable now.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 24, 2022, 09:18:48 PM
Normally players could just tell their manager to not play him, that should be seen as ok thing to do, just give him one week salary cut and he should take it and it should be all fine. On the other hand, dude just ended up running full force to opponent and jumped on him, that’s not really okay at all.

Lewandowski certainly can't be said to have done it. It may be by mistake. Lewandowski is a professional athlete. I don't think he will want to stay out of the squad for three matches on purpose. However, Lewandowski will not be with the squad for the next few matches. Xavi will definitely need to apply a new match strategy. If Barcelona drops points in the next few matches they will lose the top spot in the points table. Barcelona must play very carefully.

When Lille made it to the title it was a really special season for me. They were in a fierce fight with PSG in that season despite the huge quality difference considering their squads. But the team effort by Lille was much higher there. PSG were somehow making really simple point losses. But now there is no such thing at all. Especially after they have completed the trio of Mbappe - Messi - Neymar, things are much easier for them.

PSG will not repeat the same mistakes. PSG's target this season is the Champions League. But for this they do not consider Ligue 1 matches any less important. They have continued to perform consistently well in every Ligue 1 match. Especially in every big team and important match PSG is performing well. PSG will definitely win the Ligue 1 title this season.

Ghana is also not to be underestimated. although Portugal is the favorite in this group, Ghana could have a surprise. the situation with Argentina and Germany can also happen with Portugal, they are the favorites, and I hope not to underestimate their opponents. We've seen the surprises at this year's World Cup, there could be more. be careful with your bets.
Ghana is of course a great team, and if they could end up getting a draw or even a win against Portugal then I believe they have nobody else that they need to worry about, they could finish the group as first.

I know it’s not going to be easy, Portugal came to world cup with a good team and I believe that we shouldn't be really dealing with doubt when it comes to an angry Ronaldo, the whole United thing probably made him super mad, and that means he is going to play amazingly to show the world he still is one of the best players ever and he should be considered for the biggest clubs. This is what will be the advantage for Portugal and could end up first.
finally Portugal did not give surprise like Argentine Messi and Ronaldo are my fav. I had my eyes on Ronaldo all the time.
Ronaldo did so well in today's match but surprisingly there was a big crowd of Ghana in Qatar too. The fan are so crazy for the game.

Portugal played well and won. Portugal's attacking players are playing well. And this match proved one more thing that Portugal is not only relying on Ronaldo's performance in this World Cup. The performance of other players in the team is quite good. Even so, I don't think Portugal is the favorite to win the World Cup. Their performance needs further improvement.

Rarely see him talk about the market situation, before that I also saw him talk about the collapse of FTX and this time...A few days ago there was a rumor that Vitalik sold some of his ETH when FTX crashed but he denied it, while there was a lot of evidence that it was his wallet address and this time probably won't be good news, I have a hunch.

... Except you live in a location where btc is accepted for everything in daily expenses, it is important to keep some csah.

Even if you live in a place where bitcoin is fully accepted, it would not be wise to put your entire fortune in bitcoin. Bitcoin remains a risky and highly volatile asset. They may accept bitcoin today but may also ban it tomorrow. Bitcoin is still a very new asset class, not yet widely recognized, so whether it is accepted or not, you still shouldn't risk your entire fortune.
I also shared the same ideology with OP with 90% of my assets is in crypto I only save some small amount of fiat in my bank account which is meant for smooth running of my family, to make it easier whenever I am in short of fiat I do send some coins to Binance where I do P2P transactions to refill my bank account, this is the method used by most youths in my country invariably  preferred saving or hodling their assets in their wallets, though some prefers using a stable coin like USDT while majority uses bitcoin saving huge amount of fiat in bank is not productive with just some few monthly interest.
I see people risking their money when investing most of their wealth in bitcoin or crypto. Bitcoin is a good investment, I am also investing a lot but not the whole property. You should know that there are still risks to bitcoin so placing 90% of assets is also risky, you need to diversify your portfolio like gold and real estate.

558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching my nephew about Bitcoin on: November 20, 2022, 04:25:31 PM
You are doing the best you can to teach bitcoin to your nephew; hopefully, your nephew can understand the basics of bitcoin.
I think you need to explain to your nephew about the investment side of bitcoin and don't say much about trading because, at such a young age, he hasn't learned how to control his emotions while trading.
It would be better to set aside some of his money to start investing in bitcoin once he understands how to get started.
You must continue to accompany him in learning bitcoin, especially about self-control, because this is very difficult for young people.

I think it's better to teach him what bitcoin is and how it is different from the paper money we are using. Don't talk about investing with a child, they won't be able to understand or get them involved in gambling games. 11 is the age to go to school and have fun with friends, not when you teach them to make money anyway.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Price Drop - How are Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Responding? on: November 20, 2022, 12:07:36 AM

What are your thoughts on this? What could be the rise of price by end of 2022?
It is hard to expect bitcoin to increase in price in the remaining days of the year because only looking at the current world economic situation is still volatile. In December we have another rate hike by the Fed and it is more likely that the market will continue to fall rather than increase so don't expect much. Be prepared for a tougher 2023 when rate hikes are working, the economy is slowing.

Hi all,my friends
I've been away from cryptoworld for 2 years and i want to ask something to the esteemed audience
What the fuck is going on here?
I'm sorry,i don't have any other words
Why is bitcoin trading at 2020 prices?
This is unbelievable!!!
I sold all my bitcoins in 2021 and went to live in another country and left the cryptoworld, but i'm shocked
Is this all because of the war?
Or because of the government sticking its nose into this market?
What happened?Huh

It means you have been in the market long enough and you only recently left the market i think you also know how the market works over the years so your questions are meaningless. Once the bear season arrives, there will always be a reason for the price of bitcoin to drop, and things won't change from the previous bear season. But you have come back at the right time, this is the time for you to buy back bitcoin at low price and wait for another bull run to take profits.
