Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future?
|
on: September 17, 2020, 03:08:52 AM

Bitcoin's transaction costs can increase or decrease depending on the popularity of bitcoin in the DEV team's payment system and technology updates. If in the future people use bitcoins more, the transaction cost of each bitcoin will certainly increase more. The technology of bitcoin in the future is a sensitive issue, the lightning network has done a great job in reducing the cost per bitcoin transaction, but if there are more transactions bitcoin still cannot solve the problem. We can wrap bitcoins and can freely transact bitcoin in all blockchain networks. That's how DEX exchanges do it to trade bitcoin with other altcoins on any blockchain platform.

Launching a separate token for each exchange just to get some incentives in trading, get shares from the transaction fee pool, join the IEO, and some other benefits. Depending on the exchange's strategy, how valuable their tokens are. Not any exchange that creates their tokens is good because they need to be very creative for people to buy and keep them.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking NEWS: SEC, Bitcoin now legal (a security) in Nigeria.

It is really a good news for Nigerian people who are involved with cryptocurrencies. It will really assists others countries where still cryptocurrencies trade are illegal. They may think its reality and can legalize by imposing some rules. I see this as a country with a high percentage of users and an interest in crypto projects around the world. Loosening and regulation will significantly boost people's access to cryptocurrencies even more in Nigeria and regional countries. I see this project that accepts the Nigerian currency Naira. Maybe this project is from this country. https://markaccy.io/If crypto legal in a country, new projects will developed from there. It is just start of journey in Nigeria. The news above is true, I telegram verified with a few friends from Nigeria that crypto and bitcoin regulations are in place. My friend can pay my monthly internet costs with Bitcoin, which is great. Cryptocurrency related projects are sure, it can be said that the Nigerian market is quite potential. This is also an experiment with cryptocurrencies in a country like Nigeria. Then the effect spread very quickly, just about 10 years later, I am confident that cryptocurrencies will legalize all over Africa, then the whole world.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing your Crypto in Exchanges is better than using Cold Wallets!
|
on: September 15, 2020, 05:22:20 AM

So are you saying you don't want to take responsibility for your own funds anymore? Another question, what if you wanted to move your funds from exchange A to exchange B since volume and price is better there? Your funds will be stuck in exchange A because it takes an hour or two before they can process your withdrawal and it's probably too late by the time it's completed. If you had kept them in your cold wallet all along, you could have transferred and sold in minutes.
Dude, the big exchanges rarely have delayed withdrawals. I have tried it many times with Houbi, Binance, Okex and I trust in using them. Next, cryptocurrencies in the top 10-30 have no high slippage, they only fluctuate in 0-0.5%, I have no intention of making such low profits.

Compared to ICO, Masternode, and IEO I find DEFI better and have more advantages. Not only are they FOMO like the aforementioned trends but DEFI looks longer-term, they have a liquidity fund and people bet on it to receive the project's tokens. Interest rates on these projects look attractive. Especially the DEFI projects are well organized and licensed, the better. Centralized exchanges are also adopting this method on their centralized exchange, called CEFI.

I agree, the top 10-30 cryptocurrencies always have good volume and some of them can either perform a savings function or place a bet to make an annual profit. If you keep them in large exchanges then rest assured you have KYC and multiple layers of security for it. I used to save my money in Ledger but after my Ledger was lost, I had to spend another money to keep buying another device. They are quite troublesome so I choose to save in exchanges. It is also easier to trade when the market goes up and down than to open the device and connect.

on: September 11, 2020, 03:55:53 AM

When a pandemic occurs, real business activities such as real estate, private enterprises, or production in factories and enterprises are shut down. Money flows during the pandemic have poured into stocks, gold, and bitcoin. Some countries like the US and Vietnam have good stock markets, which have not declined after falling in March this year. Bitcoin has also risen rapidly to ATH of $ 12,000 this year. The highest gold of all time 2000 $ / oz. Cash flow is moving and people are doing more online business and that is why the crypto market has a chance to explode.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future?
|
on: September 09, 2020, 09:18:46 PM
|
DEFI will be more popular, but it cannot replace banking, even though it offers banking services. DEFI is currently just helping people to make a profit by taking deposits and paying interest, decentralized loans are impossible. Banks are governed by the government and they keep rates and interest rates more stable. Also, the bank performs several functions such as paying taxes and paying bills monthly.

Introducing bitcoin to the average person is inherently difficult, but for a blind person, it is even more difficult. They may listen to some podcasts, but they will not be able to directly experience Bitcoin. I think that trying to introduce Bitcoin to the blind is somewhat laborious and impractical.

The hype is the crowd effect, and the hype isn't too bad for good projects. Being able to find good projects early and investing in them and quickly making a profit is another way to get a good return. Need to study carefully and invest at a reasonable level to bring profits. Stay away from trends that you don't understand.
True, but nowadays there are also many people who try to approach trends they don't understand and then learn them slowly, so actually things like that are not bad for everyone, it's just that they need a deeper understanding of new trending things. People often do, they are drawn by others to follow trends. For example, crypto farming starts with letter Y, Sushiswap next to Kimchi ... This year looks like the altcoin season ends earlier than previous years. Maybe it's because listing on Uniswap is so easy and there are so many projects impersonating DEFI.

Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 Impact on the Indian Economy
|
on: September 09, 2020, 07:36:06 AM

India has the deepest decline in the major economies. The disease is on the rise in India due to its large population (about 1.3 billion people) and low health, housing, and living conditions. The disease is easy to develop and spread safely in the slums. In 2020 the government will spend billions of dollars to bring the epidemic under control. It seems that their ability to control the disease is still difficult, even though measures are being taken to prevent them.
Not only in India who currently suffers from the pandemic of the COVID-19 and the recession because every countries are currently spending billions of dollars, so they could just take the pandemic under control. But the situation is different in India because they have a huge population in their country causing a massive numbers of virus cases. The large population is not a problem because China has been successfully controlled. Housing and health care are inadequate in India, and the slums increase the likelihood of viral infections. Now that the virus is spreading to rural areas, I'm not sure they have the medical staff and measures to prevent the disease from getting worse.

I would choose digital banking because it helps to promote the monetary system in the developed country, but investing I would choose bitcoin. The reason: more transparency means less money laundering and congestion, better system liquidity, etc. Bitcoin was launched in 2009, and Satoshi quickly mined himself 2 million bitcoins before releasing the source code to anyone. Those who owned the first bitcoins became rich. The latecomers are at higher risk. Bitcoin has more speculative and manipulative value in the market as people have seen bulls and bears in history. I would choose Bitcoin to invest in because it has long term value.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform!
|
on: September 07, 2020, 09:30:08 AM

I find the best trading platforms out there including Binance, Bittrex, Houbi, Coinbase Pro, Gemini, and Upbit. The reason I voted like that is that: Houbi, Bittrex has a long and reputable history, and no attacks have occurred on the platform yet. Upbit and Binance have high trading volume and high FOMO on listing. Coinbase and Gemini are very reputable and only list cryptocurrencies with a clear origin and projects on these platforms are of high quality. Things I don't like about the above platforms: Bittrex, Houbi, Binance, and Upbit list many projects but many have been accused of scams and manipulated trading volumes.

It's great that bitcoin is in sixth place. In the future I think bitcoin will take a higher position, bitcoin has already proven its worth as a decentralized currency. Bitcoin has only been around for 10 years, but the results have been staggering. The battle between fiat currency and Bitcoin continues, I believe Bitcoin will win. That is the law of growth.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CEX A Bridge between the Secondary Market and DeFi?
|
on: September 04, 2020, 08:51:26 AM
|
It is possible to enter the DEFI market through CEX and DEX. People can lock up their assets on a smart contract. Trading on DEX is riskier because tokens are not clear about the DEV pool and there may be scams but when trading on large CEX we may find that these coins have to deposit a fee to list is listed there. In a centralized platform, it is still possible to create contracts for everyone to participate in DEFI.
