461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As much as I like BTC... on: May 15, 2017, 08:45:18 PM
Nah, Bitcoin will go up in value if the people within the world want it to. I am sure that the price of Bitcoin could also go up if a rich person spends a bunch of money on Bitcoin decides on holding the coin for a really long time instead of just dumping it into Bitcoin exchanges.

Link response against baseless accusations using as only point the escrow are totally against our business vision.

You have the right idea, there shouldn't be any reason why the Ethereum.link team should explain themselves within another thread just because some bullies try to slander the project.

Escrowed ICO’s are not necessary for a project to survive, it’s like some kids just graduated ICO schooling and forgot that they are in the real world.

you must have good proof before say scam
are you have a proof ?

I am pretty sure that they aren't a scam because it does not make any sense for anyone with a brain to give money to some stranger on the Internet. I don’t really care for the pretty green numbers under the person’s username, if I don’t know you then I don’t know you.

I hope this ICO will be a successful one.

465  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: April 25, 2017, 07:34:25 PM
USDT/btc is rising. Any reason for this? I've heard something bad about usdt. Is it true?

Looks like price manipulation. Bitfinex is $1,300+ as well so there they might have something going on with their exchanges.
466  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: April 25, 2017, 07:31:35 PM
I am against the idea of a Bitcoin Bank because I don't want anyone to hold my Bitcoin. I mean why should I want to do that when I could easily make an interest off of Bitcoin's price going up?
Being greedy is a good method to losing money.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: April 25, 2017, 07:23:59 PM
prepare for massive sell-off when segwit gets locked in

it's gonna be bloody

Ready for it, I want to see how the people react to the price increase.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: April 25, 2017, 07:22:46 PM
Is this the only relevant coin untraceable?? If so, why it is not surpassing even Bitcoin?
There is not that much people that are using Monero compared to Bitcoin. With not that many people using it, the price of Monero is not going to surpass Bitcoin anytime soon.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoin that is next to Bitcoin... on: April 25, 2017, 07:19:32 PM
Litecoin
You might be right because of the updates that is going on for it. I think that Litecoin will be number 4 against Ripple and Monero.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ArtByte announces the acceptance of BTC on the ArtByte Music Store on: April 25, 2017, 07:17:44 PM
I didn't know that there was no other music website that accepted Bitcoin. Good stuff, the developers of the ArtByte team might have the opportunity to make a bunch of money on this.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help with Bleutrade? on: April 25, 2017, 07:15:21 PM
Finally got this worked out.
How did you solve it?
Did you clear your cookies and Cache or something?
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best exchange to buy XRP (Ripple)? on: April 25, 2017, 07:14:25 PM
I'd Go With Bitstamp.

poloniex is good option for me

Poloniex is the safest place that XRP can be purchased at. That's the only place that I can recommend because many people like to use Poloniex for Bitcoin/XRP trading.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Africa on: April 25, 2017, 07:10:33 PM
Hope this will give me a clear understanding of the direction that Africa should take in embracing Bitcoin. If the answer is positive will inquire about how Africa can adopt cryptocurrency.
You think people who live in africa do not know the digital currency, they already know digital currency like paypal, nettler, skrill, etc maybe a little bit already knows a lot about bitcoin and i'm pretty sure bad news about bitcoin in Spread by the media they have heard but only a small part who knows the potential of bitcoin.
Right, people in Africa is not that poor like how the media tries to portray it is. People in Africa use various smartphones and other technology that is not that expensive and send payments digitally without any issues.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: April 25, 2017, 07:07:41 PM
I have voted for 2-5% of people.Even today, there are lots of people who dont have bank accounts and dont know about credit cards and digital transactions. All they know is only paper money which could be visibly seen and touched by hands. It would take years for them to convert to digital transactions. In india, recently demonitization of high value notes were made to turn people to digital transactions. But it didnt succeed.People inturn turned to paper transactions. So,there would not be a significant difference in the number of people using bitcoins by 2020 and bitcoin has to go a long run to reach people of all corners of the world.
Bitcoin shouldn't have that much of an issue with getting really famous and be along side of the major currency. If there's a bunch of people using Bitcoin there shouldn't be anyone that have Bitcoin trying to get rid of it because it's a new currency.
475  Economy / Economics / Re: how much do you earn with 25$ investment on: April 25, 2017, 07:05:11 PM
It does not matter what the amount of the investment is. If the odds and the rewards from the investment are large then a small investment will make a bunch of money depending on that.
$25 could get you $4,000 in a few months if you know how to invest properly.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: April 25, 2017, 07:03:15 PM
The first crash will happen with the split over bitcoin soo it might be a 10-20% loose over its value, will stil valuable currencie, and no others will be able to reach it, at 2020 or end this year it might recover again to the current value, but the next months will damage bitcoin.
What Bicoin split are you commenting about? Bitcoin is not a stock so Bitcoin does not split like stock does. Are you sure that you're commenting about Bitcoin?
477  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 25, 2017, 07:01:35 PM
Anytime is better for investment if it is a long term investment. For short term investment, more scrupulous study is required. Thus if long term investment is in mind then dont look at current price, soon or later great returns are waiting.
Anytime and any day is how I invest in things as well. It also depends on the type of investment and of course the time length of it matters also. If the investment is just something that could be bartered later on other than for money then I would invest immediately.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: Nowhere to Hide: IMF Advocates a Cashless World on: April 25, 2017, 06:56:17 PM
The irony is that this periodically becomes a topic on a forum dedicated to the most UN-physical form of money you can imagine.   So if it's a problem for any of you, there's always precious metals and other hard assets in which to store value.  Who here still pays with bills and change,  anyway?

There's a bunch of people that are on this forum that stills pays with regular cash. Bitcoin might not be the one to get promoted into the IMF decision of Currency circulation though the technology is definitely going to help the Digital Currency revolution.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Microchip implant for Bitcoin Payments in Malls will you agree ? on: April 25, 2017, 06:53:32 PM
That wouldn't be awesome at all. I would rather purchase things with cash instead of doing bodily harm just so a product could get purchased. Money is not that important.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments on: April 25, 2017, 06:50:30 PM
I think that this project will do pretty good since there's a bunch of well known people in this thread. The ICO address is publically visible so we can know who invested in it, I like it like that rather than having it hidden.
