All these preordered units will be worthless when they actually arrive. Unfortunate for the newbie miners, that ship has sailed.
783  Economy / Currency exchange / BTC-e -> UK Bank Account (3% fee - first 10 free!) on: January 23, 2014, 03:52:26 PM
The Service
Transfer *coins from BTC-e to any bank account.

The Cost
A flat 3% fee on monies transferred from BTC-e.

How it Works
Contact me stating the quantity and coins of choice (or BTC-e code) you are looking to exchange. We can then agree rates based on the current XE.com figures.
Transfer your coin(s) of choice to my BTC-e deposit address(es). These are then wired to my bank account which I in-turn transfer to your account of choice. BTC-e transfers will occur once a day @ 22:00GMT in an effort to save on transfer fees. Any achieved savings will divided between that day's customers.
The overall transaction is as quick as BTC-e's wire process (until I have enough capital to pay-out faster!)

Trust
There is no easy way to use escrow services with such a service, so I would recommend starting with smaller transactions if you are uneasy. If this doesn't suit you, simply navigate away from this thread now.
In an effort to build a trust rating, I will waive the 3% service fee for the first 10 transactions.

Example:
£502.8(1BTC)
-£82(BTC-e Fee @100EUR)
=£420.8Est. Transferred to me (based on bank exchange rates)
-£12.623% Service Fee
=£408.18Sent to your account of choice!

Note
- BTC-e minimum withdrawal is currently 500EUR (£411.62), however if there is interest, smaller deposits can be pooled to create one larger bank transfer which can then be split back down to the rightful owners
- This service is predominantly aimed at UK bank transfers. Whilst I can transfer to any account in the world, these transactions will be subject to further bank exchange fees etc.
784  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] BTC for £2730 bank transfer to Gibraltar IBAN/BIC. Trusted members ONLY. on: January 23, 2014, 01:59:47 PM
I'll sell 5B for £2730.

You pay escrow fees or send first.
785  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 0.6BTC through PayPal on: January 21, 2014, 12:38:09 PM
I'm not talking about any guy. No one has, or attempted to scam me.

As such, I just wanted to make it clear that it has nothing to do with me. Trust is hard to gain and easily lost on here.
786  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 0.6BTC through PayPal on: January 21, 2014, 11:25:12 AM
To confirm, this has nothing to do with me (the OP). So please start your own threads regarding scams with other forum members.

Thanks!

789  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] 0.03 BTC - UKBTC Only - Escrow Accepted on: January 17, 2014, 04:27:30 PM
Looking to sell approx 0.03 BTC. UKBT only - dont ask for any other payment method.

Happy to use a recognised escrow from these forums at the buyers expense. Otherwise, buyer pays first. No exception.
790  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1.7 MH/s Scrypt Mining Rig (UK) on: January 13, 2014, 09:10:03 PM
Are you a scammer?

Yeah, you're going to give me all your money and you'll never see me again.

I reiterate, "happy to use escrow".

Is your escrow agent a scammer?

Yeah, £1400 isnt enough, I want the escrow fees too!

Seriously, I'm happy to use any recognised escrow agent on this forum.

794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: January 09, 2014, 02:25:07 PM
I think the OP was not clear on this bit I put in red:

But how can I haz my money back?

Okay, for those of you who didn't guess it yet: Whenever you want to make a transaction from your savings-account to someplace else, get your wallet.dat out of the safe, boot up your liveCD (don't you dare using your regular OS after all this work, or I'll come beat you up personally) and do the reverse: Install bitcoin again

A. How is that the reverse of what you did before? It isn't ... or am I missing the obvious here?
B. Why install bitcoin again? The instructions above did not say to uninstal it, so why do you install it a second time?

Maybe I'm dumber than I thought, or missing something because I'm a noob....or that red bit really is not clear. Obviously I think it's the last, hence my post!  Tongue

Depending on how you created the LiveCD\USB it may not have persistent storage (and really shouldn't in this case). As such any changes you make within the LiveOS will be lost when you shutdown, hence the need to reinstall bitcoin.

Hello, I'm looking to buy approx 0.6BTC through PayPal - so I can use my credit card.

I appreciate not many people use PayPal any more so I'm happy to make multiple smaller purchases, and prove trust in whatever way necessary.

Thanks!

797  Economy / Services / Web Hosting from 0.018 BTC \ Year on: January 03, 2014, 02:46:41 PM
Hi all, I'm currently running servers across the globe and would be happy to start offering web hosting if there was any interest in it...

I currently have space on servers in;
Ireland, EU
Virginia
California

And if there is enough interest I can spin up servers in Oregon, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney and Sao Paulo (any guesses for who I use??  Grin)

Full control would be granted through a control panel and I am thinking of annual prices starting at 15USD (or currently ~0.018BTC).

Packages (disk space\bandwidth etc) can be tailored to suit your needs. Let me know if you're interested!

Thanks
