341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: October 21, 2017, 08:49:51 PM
ico will always be great!
Not true. The thing with ICO's is that more money will get put into that coin. That money could be used to increase the price of BTC.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 20, 2017, 06:11:21 PM
Can i ask .. is't possible to join in airdrop ?
And how it is go ?
Bitcoin Gold is doing an Airdrop as well. If you have any wallets that have Bitcoin in them, try to keep them there so you could participate in the BTG airdrop.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: October 20, 2017, 02:20:30 AM
In my opinion, it is good for ICO market as bad elements automatically removed after regulated market. Some ICOs collect money and run away without delivering their promises and regulations bound them to follow the guidelines otherwise they cannot enter the market.
Although it may be pretty nice to make money nonstop through various ICO's, there will always be new people trying to make money on new projects. That is why there is so many ICO's nowadays.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: October 19, 2017, 11:25:09 PM
Milkcoin will be a great one, they'll target the massive agricultural market of Russia, and will help you benefit from the fast growing economy there. They pay out dividends, which makes it harder to get listed on giant exchanges, but it'll be a nice advantage for Hodlers, of course. 3 years after the ICO, the company will buy back some coins at a 120% price, so you're guaranteed to make good profits.

Check em out, link in my signature
I kind of feel that the price of Milkcoin will drop in value once they get listed on an exchange. That usually happens with all the new projects.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does everyone think of this ICO? (Newbie) on: October 19, 2017, 09:45:26 PM
Hello everyone,

I came across this article on cointelegraph today and it seems a great project. What does everyone else think? anyone got any advice for a new ICO hunter?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/crowdholding-co-creating-companies-to-success

thank you
Honestly, there isn't any purpose for me to join in on that ICO unless I personally knew the people managing the ICO. I will wait till it hits a popular Bitcoin exchange.

347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: October 16, 2017, 08:57:37 AM
if I still buy altcoin only, because the price is too down drastically Smiley
hopefully altcoin can rise again

It went down drastically because of the coming hard fork maybe after this altcoins will party and those who bought and take advantage of the dumping will be happy and get their reward.
Don't worry about that, it happens to pretty much everyone of us. As soon as I make a purchase the price usually goes down for a little while then goes back to normal.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AltCoins Bleeding on: October 16, 2017, 08:40:07 AM
After 25 October I think altcoins will rise because after the 25th october everyone will sell bitcoin.
we just have to wait
The upcoming fork has almost everyone in this forum commenting about how the prices of altcoins will go up after Btc forking. How do they know that?
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hshare(HSR) and Hcash on: October 16, 2017, 08:17:34 AM
Looks like a scam coin, can someone confirm that these guys are 100% legit?
The price could slowly go much lower than it already is because the people in China will have more coins that they will want to invest in. I would stay away from this coin.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eLitecoin (ELTC2) on: October 16, 2017, 08:06:43 AM
the price ELTC2 so cheap , with news ELTC on coinmarketcap , i hope price will grow up .
Is the dev still active within the thread?
I tried to search for the thread inside of Google though an invalid thread showed up.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy for Buying Alt coin on: October 16, 2017, 08:05:05 AM
Dividing your portfolio up like this is a great idea - but instead of using the cost of one coin use the entire market cap of the coin.
You could still have 3-4 categories but this way you’re categorising risk based on market cap,
If you divide your risk based on coin cost (as you have done here) it’s based on not much other than cost of 1 coin (which doesn’t mean much given totally supply).
Marketcaps on coins are really out of proportion compared to the price of a single coin. I would just calculate the price of the coin by what a single coin is worth.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Gold Fork Wallet on: October 16, 2017, 08:04:25 AM
After searching around and finding about 100 different opinions on where to store BTC for the October 25th fork, so as to receive the BTC Gold... I have still yet to find a solid answer.

I even messaged blockchain.info and they said they will NOT be honoring the BTC Gold. For the BTC Cash fork I just left my BTC in Poloniex and received the BTC Cash tokens as I should, but now I am seeing discussion that Poloniex, Bittrex and none of the exchanges are going to be honoring the BTC Gold fork.

So. What software wallet to store BTC in to guarantee we receive the full amount of BTC Gold after the fork?
lol
I have no idea who would want to buy a coin that is given out to people for free. The people that buy that are only hoping for that 0.001% chance to get rich.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: October 15, 2017, 08:04:18 PM
If someone talk to with Altcoin is a Future that is a real talk because really altcoin is a great future for all people who work only online and who know about details of altcoin. Most of the people don't know altcoin but who know about altcoin and he make a better future for his life.
That is if that person will invest in that Altcoin that you talked about. People like to diss Bitcoin and altcoins on the regular.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: a newbies search for free coins or a trial or fun "currency" on: October 15, 2017, 08:01:10 PM
Hey there, bitcointalk members!

Reading a little bit about btc since some time i was wondering about the technical background and how things work when handling cryptocoins...so i dived into some topics like mining, wallets, exchanges, faucet....

found some interesting and funny things, in case steemit would be open for registration i would write about it there Smiley
and i read about the brave browser and is it true it will interact with some coins then?

Are there any faucet pages that are not scam? There is the Boinc software that seems ok; i think its a nice idea to use the energy for scientific purpose than to just waste it for a self created mathematical problem; but you again have to need a gridcoin balance (what i understood its necessary for many currencys - maybe all of them - to have a balance to be part of the game, a technical thing)

coinbrawl seems to be a scam too; it is a shame! the game could have been cool...

so i tried it with yobit.net but when i tried to withdraw some of the coins - the most are not listed at an other  exchange or no wallets are available for end users - it didn`t recognize the adress: a scam too it seems

i am wondering if it is possible to mine a fresh - it does help? can it be fresh enough? -  coin with a laptop, or are even these new coins target of big miners? i could image in...

So i think it is not possible to get free coins...BUT!

I think there are many people out there who want to practise a lil bit with it...
Do you know a completely free "currency" that i can use to understand things better...trie out some things...

i found some tutorials of how to make an own cryptocurrency based on eth i think, its like a difficult copy paste thing, but again you need some balance and its too difficult to do it for me, but hey...maybe something is out there and i didn`t notice...

cheers to the cryptosphere!
troedel

Faucets are one way to make free coins go to your wallet. You have to do a bunch of faucet games in order to get the coins out, they usually don't scam people because the payout is very little.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are you buying and hodling? on: October 14, 2017, 11:27:46 PM
i think OMG has a bright future once Plasma goes live
I am not a fan of OMG. I think that out of all the coins that are being traded on an exchange, the only profitable coin that has people behind it the most is Bitcoin.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for October on: October 12, 2017, 06:33:27 PM
Best ICO just copying each other.
pos, banking, debit card, new money, new exchange, IoT, blah.
it never get old.
Why are they best.
 Huh
I have to agree with you since the ICO's that are being copied then posted as a different project. There is just too many scams going on.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold, Price Speculation on: October 12, 2017, 06:31:27 PM
I don't think it will have a real value. Just like Bitcoin Cash it will be manipulated, pumped twice and than it will slowly die...

There is no real need for Bitcoin Gold anyway.
It's already over hyped. If they really wanted the coin to start fresh then they wouldn't be riding on Bitcoins price in order to get the pricing for Bitcoin Gold.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [GBYTE] Byteball Speculation on: October 12, 2017, 04:40:49 PM
Price dumped a lot to a level I would not have been expected. But if price will ONLY keep stable there is the chance to generate profit simply by holding GBYTE because of the 10% holder bonus which will come back in November.

My target for GBYTE in BTC pair is around 0.3. Strong buy imho.
I don't know if I would purchase the coin. The price of GBYTE is merely a distraction due to the updates that will come if the project stays doing the same stuff.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: October 11, 2017, 11:05:35 PM
COSS has the potential for 40-50x I believe.
Currently rewards are about 10% of the value of the token, and as the exchange grows I believe it will always look for that 10% sweetspot. Meaning if the exchange volume grows 40x, then the token will grow 40x.

As more and more people draw to Cryptocurrency, exchanges should naturally grow, so there is a very good case for holding this token.
COSS does have potential for an increase yet the team that is working with the coin know that they have to keep everything online and make sure it's safe before moving to the next update.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trading Signals&Guidance on: October 11, 2017, 07:18:33 PM
Solid channel, i joined some time ago.
They gave a lot of reviews about coins like NEO,ADX,QTUM,Golem,Xel etc.

Did not give many buy signals during BTC correction but now they gave some.

Ardor,Golem,Civic, OMG...worked out well for me so thanks to you guys (thats why i'm posting this)

Its still free so i would say its worth a look.
I didn't join the channel because I don't trade coins that much.
Do you know if any of the coins that you mentioned are profitable?
