381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about MTH? on: September 25, 2017, 01:32:52 AM
Need to know what is your opinion about Monetha?
I like the name of Monero. I don't really like the name of Monetha, I think that it's too late for them to do a name change.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now a MILLIONAIRE because of NEO. on: September 25, 2017, 01:02:32 AM
I bought in early, and kept dollar-cost-averaging along the way. I now around 35,000 NEO which are generating me about .5 GAS per hour. With NEO, and the GAS making me free money 24hrs/day, I can essentially quit my job now, as income from GAS alone could pay my bills in my Country. Cool

Congratulations on your wise investment on NEO. I am a newbie to the crypto world. Wssh I was in early to  take some initial risks to later enjoy  benefits.

NOthing like quiting a job as you u are not dependent on anything.
You do not become rich by earning a lot of money, you become rich by not spending money on the first place, how many people have won millions in the lottery only to be broke a few years later, if you win big in crypto find something else to do and earn some money with it, do not enter a life of leisure or you are going to spend all your earnings faster than you think.
Whether he made the money or not, he still might be chillin somewhere that he doesn't have to worry so much about bills and other things that normal people do.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Presale vs. ICO on: September 23, 2017, 10:53:42 PM
Thanks for all your replies. Also did my research, and yes, you are right, seems it is for some big guys to chip in, and to make sure that they can run the ICO, prepare it. Pretty sure marketing costs are high to ensure having a well known ICO coming up.  Smiley
You should just do a 1 or two day ICO, if your product doesn't get any investment then start with what you have.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 09, 2017, 10:43:30 PM
Chinese economy is not currently benefitting from the ICO nor from crypto trading. It has been seen rather as an destabilizer to the society and for money laundering. It is probably understandable for the regulatory body to take drastic action to ban ICO and even crypto-fiat trading completely as it's a year about financial de-risk and social hamonisation, in particular ahead of the government election in Oct. There might be interesting development after election but we will see.
I am pretty sure that this Chinese ICO trading removal won’t last that long considering how many people out there that want to purchase coins that will make them more Bitcoins. It is only a matter of time till the people that want to purchase the coins purchase the coins from another Bitcoin Exchange that doesn’t feature a centralized economy.
Centralized trading is not a place for Bitcoin unless there is a person that wanted to purchase coins while having a large fee attached to it for some unknown reason though the trader will realize that they are still being tracked while making those purchases even with the rules not set in place.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you hold chinese Altcoins, and will you keep holding them? on: September 09, 2017, 10:43:17 PM
Despite the rumors, I keep NEO. I believe that Chinese regulators will only provide a framework for new ICOs and this will have a positive impact on China's crypto assets.
There is nothing that they Chinese Government can really do once the ICO is launched to a network. If all the nodes for the coin is hosted in China then they could just move the nodes to another location and that would allow the network to stay alive for a very long time. The only thing that people are worried about is that they can’t purchase the coins from certain exchanges that are built in China.
It’s kind of funny to see people over reacting about the news about China yet they don’t realize that most exchanges aren’t even from China.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: September 09, 2017, 10:40:22 PM
Ethereum is a really powerful token that have lots of usefull tools. If you wanna do anything in crypto world , you will probably see or use a mechanic that uses ethereum. So it's really hard for an altcoin to pass Ethereum but still that doesn't overshadow the potential of Waves.
Waves is not better than Ethereum. Waves came after Ethereum so with that being one of the reasons why Waves won’t be worth more than Ethereum in the terms of fiat and credibility –Waves doesn’t have that much people interested in it compared to Eth.
The thing that is cool about Waves is the decentralized exchange that they have and they also have a system that could be used within a regular browser so it could be adapted to more technologies as well since 99% of the people that use the Internet use a regular to browse things online for whatever purposes.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $257 Million: Filecoin Breaks All-Time Record for ICO Funding on: September 09, 2017, 10:37:21 PM
Government can't stop the development of blockchains , is $257 million  a new record for ico now ?Congratulations to Filecoin.
With that amount of money gathered from their ICO, they should have updates posted for it within days of launching the coin. There is so much things that someone can do with that much money, 257 million dollars can be used to hire a huge amount of developers that can build the project and expand it without the money in the budget being affected by it. They wouldn’t even need a million dollars to get people interested in working with them, so it should be interesting to see how much longer they will wait till they release something ground-breaking and disrupt virtual currencies.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: September 09, 2017, 10:34:28 PM
Deeponion airdrop is here:
https://deeponion.org/community/apply.php?ref=676934

Until March 2018 every week there is an airdrop for the participants promoting deeponion on Social media, BCT, everywhere, deeponion price is going up!
I wanted to participate in that airdrop though it looks like the price of that coin won’t hold that long because there’s people getting removed from that campaign for no reason at all. If more people get removed from that campaign without having the possibility of getting back into the campaign then it would look like there is an insider trying to get most of the coins so that person could cash that money out within a matter of minutes.
It’s pretty good that there isn’t that many exchanges for that coin, once more exchanges begin to accept it –there might be much less Bitcoin bids for it.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where do whales sell/buy btc? on: September 09, 2017, 01:18:09 AM
Wondering where do big players/hedge funds buy/sell big sums of btc, and where they exchange it to fiat?

I would still have to say that local bitcoins is probably the way they do it, however I may be wrong. There are plenty of large buyers and sellers that can be found there.

Otherwise, large exchange sites such are also good for large scale selling bitcoin to fiat.

I doubt many whales are using local bitcoins. You pay a massive premium when compared to large exchanges. When it comes to 100s of coins, that adds up quickly. From what I can tell the premium is anywhere from 2% to 30% depending on the seller on local bitcoins.
That is right, there is more people that trade in large bitcoin exchanges like Kraken and Bitstamp and move their money pretty easily so that they could invest in something. It’s quite surprising to see how many money is being traded through those type of places compared to places like Local Bitcoin. Local Bitcoin has a bunch of scammers and the people that trade in those places don’t really hold that much Bitcoin on them unless there is a supplier that is working for a specific cause and that person will only do transactions in person. It’s too dangerous to do Local Bitcoins with large sums of money.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethbits Crowdsale (ICO) MORE THAN 13644 ETH RAISED ! on: September 09, 2017, 01:10:51 AM
If Ethbits had listed on exchange right after they paid dividend, prices would have been on moon. But good for me as now I can buy more but etherdelta is shitty exchange so I would wait for some decent one
It doesn’t look like there will be anyone wanting this coin in their wallets because of the whole upgrade thing that made this whole project looking like a scam. Doing the update while allowing time to wait for the token to get switched out to the new one would’ve made the coin a much better thing to have if they let that go much faster.
I really hoped that this project was going to be worth something later on and the dev’s were really active at the time of the ico, when the ico completed they stopped posting that often so it scared most investors away.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: August 23, 2017, 07:08:14 PM
I can't really deny way we use bitcoin is hard.
But I can convince people to use it after details. Especially low fees and taxes.
Bitcoin could be used as something more than just currency, it could be used as something that people would want to look back on when or if the price of Bitcoin goes down. If Blockchain goes down and there is no people don’t want people to use the network anymore then the price of Bitcoin wouldn’t be relevant to Bitcoin because people would be using it to trade for something else offline.

There might be another currency that will get stronger than Bitcoin though the odds of that being similar to Bitcoin is really high so Bitcoin wins when that happens.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price point per BTC will it be too late for the average person on: August 23, 2017, 07:04:43 PM
The way to think about it is that you will have 100 million satoshi. People coming late will only have a few of them. Many people will not afford 1 satoshi in future. Cheesy Grin Cheesy
If they can cover the costs for the transaction fee for Bitcoin then they could afford it. The price of Bitcoin might not be looked at as something that will go up in value at that point because there won’t be that many people that can afford purchasing that many coins and there might not be that many people trying to sell it since Bitcoin might be a decentralized turned centralized thing by then.
A dollar for a single satoshi would be nice if the transaction fees were free, there’s also Altcoins that will allow Bitcoin to get sent under 1 sat.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2017, 07:02:00 PM
Someone keep btc for profit, someone keep the future, some people fear the crisis $ devaluation ... so bitcoin will be a complete choice for them, can trade many countries, Useful quick.
Although these people use Bitcoin to get rich, I wouldn’t want to suggest it to anyone that is looking for a 100% sure method to getting rich. Bitcoin can get really expensive or really cheap depending on how many people want it through an exchange. Order Books within exchanges are what the price of Bitcoin is right now, if there were no Bitcoin exchanges then the price of Bitcoin would only be a used as a barter system based on something that someone says.

Bitcoin is one of the currencies that don’t really need USD to allow it stay useable.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: August 23, 2017, 06:59:04 PM
iam use bitcoin because can convert to fiat money
and my income incraese because use bitcoin, iam trading mining and follow signture campaign in bitcointalk
Well, you shoild use bitcoin because it will gives you more income and money. Furthermore, as of now many people already use bitcoin and because of that they could make and earn more income. You should use bitcoin because it will become our future money and if you have bitcoin you could become rich in the future.
If the price of Bitcoin goes down then Bitcoin would be a bad choice to use because they could lose the money that they’ve made within a couple of seconds. There’s a little bit of dumps here and there with Bitcoin so there’s not much people worrying about the price of Bitcoin going down right now.
I think that when more people begin to read the charts for Bitcoin when the dumps happen then there would be more panic selling when they notice it, an act of FOMO will cause the price to rise within little to no time at all.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2017, 06:53:23 PM
because it's safe, it's anonymous and easy Smiley
I agree with you. These factors are what make bitcoin great and many people use bitcoin. Bitcoin can be considered as on of the safest currency right now. It has opened the new technology to the world: the crypocurrency. Hope that everyone will accept bitcoin in the future
Bitcoin might be more secure to use within online transactions yet if the person that is sending the money don’t know how to do simple math then they might lose the money that they have within a single transaction. All it would take would be a wrong number input in a wallet and they could send 0.1 BTC instead of 0.001 BTC, it all depends on both the receiver and the sender also the wallet that they are using.

Other than that, Bitcoin can be a secure method for purchasing things online as long as they remain secure with their electronics.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 07, 2017, 08:52:38 PM
I think ETH will be the most developed currency in the future because investors would love to invest in ICO projects as it brings a lot of profit and the foundation of ETH can create so many different Token so ETH Will be the longest existed altcoin
Ethereum is an important coin right now since the people that are investing in it have a feeling that the price is going to go up soon. Once the price of Ethereum goes up then the people that invested in ETH will be able to do more things with Bitcoin because they would have more money to move around -that will let them be able to hire higher experienced developers that will help with the technical side of the coin.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest your money in Ico on: July 07, 2017, 07:11:13 PM
Most ICO ive seen are scam PnD.. only a few real ones out there IMO
That might be how it is now and that is how it was back then. It's really a gamble to see what ICO is going to do well because some of the ICO don't really make it past the launch period.

I know of Icobid, mostly everyone thought that it was going to be a good coin to invest in though the price of it went down so fast that so many people got angry.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does your due diligence look like before investing in ICO? on: July 07, 2017, 06:11:09 PM
sometimes i get FOMO and dont do research at all.. sad truth but most people fall for HYPE  Tongue
The proper due diligence is really up to the investor. Investing in different things would make you a better investor -especially if you make money on mostly all of those trades.
Researching what the coin is about, how old it is, why it was built, where it was built & comparing it to similar coins will allow you to get a better insight on how to invest a little better. Not all investors are the same.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to the bitcoin on: July 07, 2017, 05:05:31 PM
buy onecoin if you want to become poor
I wouldn't want to purchase Onecoin as well because that project is very slow. Even if Onecoin someday gets their stuff together and makes their payment system legit, they still required people to wait months before they can trade like .1 coins or something in their Onecoin exchange due to a KYC verification issue.

Onecoin is also centralized so that's the opposite of what Bitcoin is if people didn't know that already, don't invest in it.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming ICO's on: July 07, 2017, 01:21:39 AM
There is an ICO this July 12th from the DENTCOIN Team. also you can check the presale which is open now with a 20% bonus!  check the ANN for the dentcoin project here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1974825.0

Why is this unique?
There are a few health related icos
I would like to know this as well because there's a bunch of Altcoins with ICO's claiming that they can do this or that though when they actually launh it's pretty straight forward, they have no plan at all. Astonished that they made the money in the ICO then they do what they can to have the coin not die in a couple of months.

Is there some kind of Beta available for DENT?
