1,000 People Own 40 Percent of Bitcoin Market
Easy to understand why the price is volatile. Could collapse soon or rise really really high in the next 5 years.
That is not that high of a number. Hackers could target those people because they are holding too many coins.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unbelieveable , ( 2018 ) Is The Year, Central Banks Begin Buying Cryptocurrency on: December 23, 2017, 10:31:26 PM

The topic of the story this time, telling about in the next years 2018 Central Bank Starts Buying Cryptocurrency, to bolster their foreign reserves because one of the core functions of a central Bank is to manage their nation-state, or union's, official gold and foreign exchange reserves, "Country currencies" will be forced to alter their foreign reserve weightings and finally get started to cover the market of cryptocurrencies , The Cryptocurrencies will also fulfil a new requirement can say like a digital gold Shocked , So in my opinion, very reasonable in the years 2018 Bank interested, because Cryptocurrency is now a source of revenue across global markets around the world , do you agree ?  Wink
Banks will want the coin after the price gets over 20k, there should be a bunch of media trying to get people to talk bad about Bitcoin then.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian authorities weighing how to regulate cryptocurrencies -SEBI chief on: December 23, 2017, 10:19:13 PM
MUMBAI, Dec 20 (Reuters) - India's capital market regulator is talking with the government and central bank about how to regulate cryptocurrencies, its chairman said on Wednesday. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), plus officials from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), are on a panel tasked with determining the legal oversight for cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, Chairman Ajay Tyagi said..

"There has to be a process or law, only then can you take action," Tyagi told reporters on the sidelines of a Confederation of Indian Industry conference in Mumbai. India currently has no regulation for cryptocurrencies, and like other global policymakers, it is seeking to understand how to supervise a market that many feel is a speculative bubble..

Earlier this month, the RBI said it was concerned about bitcoin. India's central tax authority is also surveying bitcoin exchanges to find out whether it can tax any transactions..

They say what they want though they know that they can't regulate anything if they aren't mining the coin or holding large amounts of coins.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming Bitcoin Forks on: December 23, 2017, 09:09:46 PM

Dec 23 Lightning Bitcoin
Dec 23 Bitcoin Platinum
Dec 25 Bitcoin God
Dec 31 Bitcoin Uranium
Jan 2 Bitcoin Cash Plus
NA Bitcoin Silver
It doesn't look like we can claim and sell these coins right now. What's the point of having the coins fork Bitcoin if we can't use it?
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Acceptance on: December 23, 2017, 06:56:09 PM
Due to how volatile prices of bitcoin are, they cannot be accepted anywhere in the world. 6000 dollars down in a mere time of 4 days! WTFFFF
its price increased by 20 dollars while taking a screenshot LOL

The USD moves pretty much every second. Bitcoin is just another thing with the similar situation on the price.
266  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: December 23, 2017, 06:53:09 PM
Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.
It seem that way because there is a lot of people that are relying on Bitcoin to have a higher price so their coin gets promoted more.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen today with all Coins? on: December 23, 2017, 05:25:41 PM
BTC down on 12'500
ETC, Ripple, IOTA all down more than 30%.

Whats going on?
thanks

Somebody or a group of people are dumping Bitcoins so they can get fiat or they are trying to manipulate the price so they can buy more BTC.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Y'all are traitors, thinking of BTC value as related to USD on: December 23, 2017, 05:23:39 PM
When I think of one Bitcoin... that is ALL I think about!
To think any further is traitorous.
i.e. Bob says " well, if Bitcoin hits $10,000 US, I'm gonna sell some and buy a new car "

It's unacceptable to think in terms of fiat.
Show some loyalty, and when you talk about Bitcoin, that should be it.

example. Bill says " I have 2 Bitcoins. Gonna buy some burgers now. "
I wouldn't call them traitors because mostly anything in the world can be bartered for another item.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learned so far, never sell Bitcoins out of panic in a dip! on: December 17, 2017, 09:02:19 AM
Having calculated the BTC unpredictable price you've really gotten it so far 'cause seeing the upcoming move doesn't that easy. Maybe hold it for some time and it will lead us to our financial problem solve.
Just keep the coins in the wallet for a little while longer, you will forget that you have them if the price gains get boring.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 alt coins to hodl in 2018 on: December 17, 2017, 08:59:06 AM
1. Ethereum
2. Waves
3. Litecoin
4. IOTA
5. Ripple

These are my favorite 5 coin. You already know the first three. IOTA and XRP are the other coins I trust.
Same, though I hold more of Ethereum than any of the coins in that list. Actually I don't have any of the coins on that list other than Ethereum lol...
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a one or two man team with a great concept/solution pull off an ICO? on: December 17, 2017, 08:57:50 AM
When i say one or two man team that simply implies the founders to start with. They off course can hire and build a team post ICO. Opinions?
Why would you want to do that? The coin you are promoting has to be new to us or we won't purchase it.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coinmarketcap december 2018? on: December 17, 2017, 08:56:31 AM
1 year ago exactly the total market cap on coinmarketcap was 14,59B. Today its 573,2B. Do you guys think the total market cap will exceed 1 trillion by december 2018? Lets discuss. Roll Eyes

273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best offline Ethereum wallet. on: December 17, 2017, 08:55:11 AM
Hello bitcointalk users,I would like to know some of the best offline wallets for storing Ethereum.I only know of one online wallet MEW.

274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble will occur or Correction...! on: December 17, 2017, 08:53:52 AM
good day!
as the bitcoin is dramatically increase its value, I know that we bitcoiner are glad about it. But while it's increasing, didnt you worry about it? of just go with the flow?

I will refer this situation about the tulip, as it wil getting popular (before) the price of the tulip bud are very high until one they people realize that there's nothing about it....

Will the bubble occur again (and for now it is in bitcoin) or Bitcoin price is just for today and it will correct it soon?

Bitcoin will not get the bubble destroyed anytime soon. Bitcoin will drop in price after a certain point though.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bittrex 0.001 btc withdraw fee -- about 19 usd on: December 17, 2017, 08:51:50 AM
I withdraw 0.3 btc from bittrex and I noticed the withdraw fee is 0.001 btc. It is about 19 usd.

the withdraw fee is expensive now.

The price is expensive though Bittrex is a high-end trading website so you should be making enough money to have no problem with taking care of that withdrawal fee after you trade.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks cannot keep up with the changing times, but Bitcoin can. on: December 17, 2017, 08:48:54 AM
Banks must be ready to face the changing times, including in the face of the development of digital technology. Various product innovations and banking services are required to keep up with changes in customer behavior.
Not all Banks need to do that though, some people like to store money the old fashioned way.

Most Banks will have to adapt to newer technology though.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Gone ?!?!?! on: December 17, 2017, 08:47:00 AM
I tried withdrawing with etherdelta but it says that I don't have the required balance.

I saw the chat and lots of people are experiencing this issue.

Someone knows what's happening ? Are they gone ?
Have you double checked your balance on Github?

You can see how many coins you have if Etherdelta doesn't update fast enough:

278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hard fork 17 December - Super Bitcoin on: December 17, 2017, 08:44:13 AM
Another day  - another fork - another scam. Every fork of bitcoin shows how a bitcoin holders is strong. Only 1 BTC we need. Not BCH and others.
This coin is a scam though the people that are making websites to take Private Keys and wallet information is getting worse as more altcoin forks happen.

We can't claim the coin yet? Lol

280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some stable altcoins ? on: December 17, 2017, 08:40:33 AM
There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?
People have answered what you wanted to know already. The main coins is Litecoin and Ethereum. Any other coin is just a huge risk to make.
