481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: April 25, 2017, 06:47:47 PM
Itīs not strange the good progress of this project. I think that more and more people realize that the project is serious, they see that there are reputed people behind supporting and they see that there is a team that is building something big and attractive for investors.
Well, considering the amount of Bitcoin that is being used for their signature campaign I think that this project will be pretty successful.
If they keep going with their campaigns then there will be more promotions for this project and many investors will get in on this.

484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling investment is zero sum on: April 07, 2017, 09:29:57 AM
Gambling investment is zero or negative sum, considering the house has to profit.

So why are you guys do bitcoin gambling as an investment instruments? OR merely just for the fun, like going to a physical casino.

Gambling investment will always be positive EV.

Because you are investing in the house if you are investing in gambling.

For example, Yolodice and Bitdice are two very popular dice sites right now that accept user investments. Also worthy of a mention are crypto-games, Bitvest.io and Just-Dice(although they don't use bitcoin anymore so that's a bummer).

But if you are the person gambling, sure, it'll always be negative sum.

Can't think of any legitimate casinos that will offer you a neutral EV, because the house edge is how they make profits.

486  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: >> WARNING: COINSORTIUM and ARDEVA SCAM >> Identity theft on: December 01, 2014, 07:34:20 PM
@RiverBoatBTC: Coinsortium's user verification process is managed in its entirety by a 3rd party company (Ardeva).

Ardeva's purpose is to be a central verification tool mitigating the requirement for users to submit their documents to multiple website owners. I for one grow tiered of having to submit my personal details to numerous websites.

When users register with Ardeva they are able to verify certain "modules" (Home Address, Income, Postal, Government ID etc) all of which helps build an Ardeva score. We then allow these users to link their Ardeva account with their Coinsortium account (just as you can on many sites with your Facebook, Twitter or Google social accounts). Should the user have certain Ardeva "modules" verified, they are granted additional access on Coinsortium to list projects etc.

Having discussed this matter in great depth with Frederic, Ardeva's founder, prior to our partnership, I would challenge anyone to successfully verify an Ardeva account using fake documentation and list a project on Coinsortium.

Manual withdrawals were an unexpected requirement caused by a recent update. The problem causing this will be rectified within the week. Until then, any user who requires a withdrawal can send us a support ticket and we will happily assist, generally within a matter of minutes.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused, we are working to rectify it as quick as possible.

Great news today - DEBT has successfully migrated from CryptoStocks to Coinsortium;
https://cryptostocks.com/securities/128
https://coinsortium.co/security.php?ticker=DEBT

In other news, we're pleased to announce the acquisition of our first full time developer. Pranav will lead our development code branch initially focusing on our integration with MSP.

Working with MSP will bring with it some fantastic features for our users, including;

1) Trade in BitCoin, LiteCoin or DogeCoin. Don't be tied down to the same currency shares are being sold in. MSP will calculate the current exchange rate and process the transaction accordingly.
2) Full purchase ledger - All on-site transactions are fully transparent by means of being available on MSP's custom blockchain.
3) 125% Fraud Guarantee - Transactions on MSP are protected with a Multi-Factor authentication process as well as insured for 125% of the transaction amount.

Feature requests are currently being accepted by raising a ticket via the contact link on our site.

497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DigitalCoinFarm - Get shares to build your own cloud scrypt asic miner today on: August 02, 2014, 07:16:14 PM
Gray, some projects are starting to migrate to https://coinsortium.co/. Are you thinking about it?

When I don't see how it would improve anything.
It's the same technology and this exchange have no reputation.

I rather go on the Nxt decentralized asset exchange.

Coinsortium is a new venture of mine. Whilst I appreciate the platform is new, they all need to start somewhere - in our first 8 days of trading we are proud to service 11 securities, having processed over 23BTC and seen more than 4,500 unique visitors.

As you may have noticed a number of security owners on Cryptostocks are currently considering migrating to our platform - DEBT and LENDING have successfully passed votes; LENDING has migrated, and DEBT is due this coming week, BIF's vote results are due tomorrow night.

It's my opinion that a couple of features allow Coinsortium to stand out from the crowd, specifically;

  • Owner Verification - We have teamed up with Ardeva to provide full user verification profiles. Ardeva offer a thorough validation process reducing the risk to investors
  • Wallet Protection Guarantee - MSP recently announced Coinsortium as their first wallet partner. If you have not heard of MSP before, they provide a multi-currency wallet (so you will be able to purchase and receive dividends in which ever of their supported currency you prefer) on top of a 125% Security Guarantee.

The platform is still in its infancy and functionality is being added daily - we are currently in the process of developing v2 which, amongst other functionality, will see the inclusion of Margin trading, Options and Bond listings.

We also have a fully automated process of migrating securities from Cryptostocks, of which the listing price is currently free.
498  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Invest bitcoins? on: August 02, 2014, 12:26:39 PM
Stock. There are plenty of securities which are generating a steady revenue. TRADER, DEBT, BIF (all currently on CryptoStocks).
499  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ABT - ARBITRAGE possible SCAM on Cryptostocks? on: August 02, 2014, 12:23:59 PM
I have questions regarding CS' verification process. Ardeva as a 3rd party solution are far more thorough - in my opinion.
