341  Other / Off-topic / Re: IQ Testing on: August 13, 2017, 10:34:47 PM
IQ predicts absolutely fuck all. Furthermore, the tests can be trained for and people who were previously exposed to even remotely similar problems are going to perform better on average as well.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT COIN IS WORTH HOLDING FOR ATLEAST A YEAR FROM NOW? on: August 13, 2017, 10:05:24 PM
Definitely AiCoin. Worth holding for as long as it exists. It trades the leading 10 coins with a Machine Learning bot, which gets better the more data it collects, e.g. it gets better over time. ML also has a strong tendency to avoid risks, so the potential draw-down is considerably lower than any manual trading or traditional trading bot would achieve. Half of the profits go to ICO and start-up investments, which are medium and long-term investments.
Either way, the longer you hold this coin the better, and after the ICO finishes the price on exchanges will most likely always be higher than the current portfolio value, so it's best to get in early to avoid paying a premium for anticipated profits.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES, STRAT, ZEN or NEO? on: August 13, 2017, 09:48:29 PM
Although not on your list, SONM is massively undervalued right now. AiCoin is also a safe and solid investment.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 13, 2017, 09:33:17 PM
I'd like to understand better one thing, is the Bitcoin value important when we want to buy an altcoin purchasable only in Bitcoin (no fiat) or not? I mean, do you usually wait for the Bitcoin to go down as well together the token you wanna buy or you just buy Bitcoin and get immediately the new coin? Thanks!
You just buy tokens when the price is right for you, and yes, you can (usually) only buy altcoins with Bitcoins. As far as correlations between BTC and Alts go, that's very complex and nobody can accurately predict what is going to happen. There are quite a few different scenarios and if you look at various alts and compare them to BTC you will find just about any correlation pattern. The hard part is predicting it.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: August 13, 2017, 09:21:24 PM
Daytrading is worth it if you have a very efficient trading bot or are capable of creating one. Otherwise HODL and perhaps swing trade the bigger movements a bit. Day trading is not worth the amount of effort that goes into it.
346  Economy / Goods / Re: Prepaid MASTERCARD for BITCOIN on: August 13, 2017, 09:11:43 PM
You can get anonymous prepaid Visa and MasterCards that can be loaded with BTC and various altcoins online. Your service is too expensive, risky and inconvenient. Best if you look for something else.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The most undervalued crypto? on: August 13, 2017, 09:00:31 PM
SONM is almost at rock bottom, it's currently still below ICO price. If it traces the path of Golem (which is a similar project that started ~6 months before SONM), then SONM could reach $1 to $1.20 by the end of the year or early 2018. If it continues reaching roadmap milestones in time (which Golem failed at) it could even surpass $1.20 by having outperformed Golem.
That means a potential half-year return of 18x or higher with an extremely low probability of losing any value. If it goes back to ICO price (which is to be expected) it would at least double its value.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the nexte NEO on: August 13, 2017, 08:55:01 PM
SNM is currently cheap and could reach prices of $1-1,2 by the end of the year if it traces Golem, which is a similar but 6 months older project. Since SONM appears to be focused on actual development they could even outperform GNT if they reach their roadmap milestones in time, which Golem failed to do.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What ICOs have you invested in? on: August 13, 2017, 08:49:56 PM
I currently have stakes in AiCoin, Blocklancer and Presearch.

AiCoin is by far my favourite since it's pretty much market-resistant due to its approach.

Blocklancer could sponge up the currently quite shitty Freelancing market, which is massive and only going to grow.

Presearch intends to pay people for their searches, by just paying out ad-revenue to the users. There are quite a few challenges involved in that, but if they pull it off they could replace Google in the long-term, if Google doesn't adapt their policies.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: August 13, 2017, 08:46:57 PM
Absolutely! I personally believe the true "bitcoin" or top cryptocurrency in the long run is but an altcoin that hasn't been truly discovered.

This i think most altcoins are worthless.
But there will come a new btc killer.
Altcoins will be the new equity in private companies though. So there's going to be a lot of alts with varying degrees of success. Altcoins are pretty much set to change the way investments take place entirely.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: August 13, 2017, 06:58:23 PM
You're hatred is your character. You hate yourself.
Whatever helps you sleep at night, kiddo.

I'm mentally degenerate?
Seems to be the case.

Is everything really fake? You have no solid proof, all are just your confused assumptions.
Objective assessment? No. You are biased against alts you believe to be shitcoins.
The coin is not "100% anonymous", neither is TOR nor is the integration worth anything (plenty of coins have similar or superior features), which has several attack vectors that can be exploited. The "Airdrop" is not an Airdrop, but a signature/avatar campaign. These are undeniable facts, and I'm the one who is biased? Shills these days have the intelligence of a 5 year old. Roll Eyes

...maybe he's got an interest in a competing coin so he wants to bring deeponion down so he makes more??? i don't know
Another useless post. How don't you get that Deeponion is not a competitor to any coin at this time? There is nothing to bring down.

Surprised this thread is still alive to be honest. No idea who Lauda is or where he came from, but it's pretty clear that he's just got a massive stick all the way up there and doesn't speak from any objective perspective, despite quite proudly proclaiming to be doing so.
Sold account? Check.1 Signature campaign? Check. Doesn't know what he/she is talking about? Check.
I've posted undeniable facts about the fake advertising behind this coin. Meanwhile, people like you, who have no idea what they're talking about, continue supporting shady shit everywhere. And you want to judge what is objective and what isn't?  Roll Eyes

You throw around random and completely irrelevant points while getting all defensive. Doesn't put much weight into your words.

Either way, please show me where you've provided any "undeniable facts about the fake advertising", because all I've seen so far was a lot of hot air and empty accusations.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES going to $100 on: August 13, 2017, 05:59:07 PM
Wave is a easy buy I think soon will be 25$ no doubt about it but with so many other alts going 10 and 50x do you really want to be holding this coin?Huh
This is where diversification comes into play. The largest positions in any portfolio should be in coins like BTC, AiCoin and ETH. Moderately sized positions should be in Waves, Ark, Sia, Neo, Qtum, NVO and other similar projects that already have a strong name. Smaller sized positions in very early stage coins with a very promising project to back it up as very high risk and ultra high reward investments.
The more diversification the better, as long as the decisions are well-informed and not simply based on "some dude said this coin will moon". Only catch to this is that at some point you run out of time to do proper due diligence, this is the trade-off that has to be balanced when diversifying.

I'm at the very least glad that I got to remove that guy from my "trust list", since he's pretty clearly not somebody whose opinion is worth much of anything.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: August 13, 2017, 03:27:50 PM
So, I can't mine this coin? How is it distributed? Only airdrops?

I'm new here, thanks in advance Wink
Welcome to the forum.

Since you've registered so late you can not participate in the airdrop. However, you can technically mine the coin. Refer to the website or ANN for details on how to do this. Alternatively you could pick up some Onions on Nova.
355  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: August 13, 2017, 03:15:22 PM
Much better. People would not live for something that is not reachable for them. I guess there would be much less depression among the people. We would be more communative.
I would be far more depressed if I was forced into a "tribe" by birth to be honest. Talking to people can be the most depressing thing ever, most people just repeat what everyone else is saying and almost nobody really cares about anything whatsoever in their lives.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: August 13, 2017, 03:10:10 PM
Actually it doesn't matter if you have a small or big bankroll the same ratio of waving is needed to oeodir for example 50% all that happens is it makes it easier to reach your previous profit. So if you have 1 btc and make 50% you have 1.5 BTC
If you have 10 BTC making 0.5 BTC is much easier since it is only 5% of 10btc .
martingale method does not work in long time game. it will eat your bankroll within few minutes. I tried this method and lost my money after that I did not try. If any one provides proof that it works fine also I will not try. Becasue I had real experience. My advice is if you want to use this method try with altcoins don't try with bitcoins you may lose more money.
It doesn't matter if use risk $100 of Bitcoins, $100 of Altcoins or $100 worth of rocks... The outcome will be the same.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin continuos uptrend kill off the Alt Market? on: August 13, 2017, 03:08:50 PM
I would like to know the real cause Bitcoin to rally so aggressive too.
Something big must be going on.  Roll Eyes
What is happening is fairly simple. The more the price rises, the more people will inevitably become aware of Bitcoin. And the more people are aware of BTC, the more people will get in on it and the higher the price will rise, which in turn will lead to even more awareness.
This will keep going for quite a while, unless every government in the world outlaws BTC (won't happen) or a vastly superior coin shows up and pushes BTC from its throne.

Or shall we say that the " big guys " in the market are transferring to BTC and this is pretty much the cause of the abnormal rise on BTC's price. Only those " big guys " are capable of doing so. It does bring awareness to all but only those " big guys " can afford the BTC price right now.
That's not true. Anybody with any amount of fiat currency can purchase fractions of a BTC. There is no price that is "too high" or "unaffordable". It's always a question of whether or not somebody is willing to pay.
Sure, there is cash flowing from alts into BTC that is also helping the current trend, but that doesn't mean it's all "big guys". People are overestimating "whales" and underestimating the impact of a lot of individuals.

Either way, BTC is poised to rise, regardless of "big guys".

359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STOP TRADING-START INVESTING on: August 13, 2017, 02:37:18 PM
You made a nice move, sir. Honestly there is no other safest strategy in cryptocurrency than buying and holding because yes - trading may give you a very promising profit, however, you cannot really tell if your coin would be stagnant too soon or worse, dumped.

I have another strategy to tell you... why don't you lend your bitcoins? small satoshis could mean a lot when long term.
Because there's a high default rate. There are a few exceptions, but if everybody jumps on them they will become unprofitable for everyone and disappear.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will 1 DeepOnion be worth? on: August 13, 2017, 02:35:58 PM
What will be interesting to watch is when the airdrop will be finished, what kind of dump will occur? But as I stated earlier, the distribution method is really really interesting, and at the same time, it give publicity to the project.
There'll be the following three groups of people:

1.) People from poor countries and other short-sighted folks who will dump all their coins as soon as they can.
2.) People who dump a part of their bag to get at least some profit while keeping the rest.
3.) People who will buy up the dump or keep HODL, since they know that the price will go well over $1-10++ by ~2020 if dev doesn't disappear.

All three groups will make some profit at least, but it's pretty clear who the big winner will be if the project succeeds.
