While many in main stream science claim to be atheist and believe in the Big Bang and the eventual Deep Freeze due to entropy. Is it not curious to consider that the very underpinnings of this belief is based on mathematics, was it too created in the big bang? if so how was it constructed? one digit at a time?
I think not it has always been there and will always remain its an eternal masterpiece that permeates every conceivable facet or reality yet in its self it is purely abstract. Without it nothing would exist, but it in itself it is nonexistent and existent at the same time. It is the language of the living universe. Its permutations are infinite, yet it did not grow, it has always been complete and eternal.
I believe that it is not a religion, science always say that there is no God but they are the ones who keeps on searching for Gods existence, I think they are the ones who believes more that God do really exists. But to say that science is a religion, then my answer is a no. A lot of people do have a very religious like belief in science though. They don't understand where it comes from, don't understand how it works, and don't even understand the results. But as soon as a media headline states that "scientists have found <whatever>" people start taking it for granted, regardless of whether or not the headline was even true to begin with (and a lot of reporters and writers completely fail to grasp the content of a study and then spread misinformation like that). In that sense, people really do follow science like others follow a religion. That is, in blind faith. |

I am interested to see what happens, but I anticipate as soon as an exchange appears, a majority will leave the campaign and dump their coins for whatever they can get.
Deeponion is already in exchanges I think. The thing that prevents people from dumping is that the airdrop will be going on for a long while until next year if I am not mistaken. And the requirement for the participants to remain until the end is that they will not withdraw more than 10% of onions in their wallet. Let us all wait until the end of this airdrop. This has changed with the most recent rules. People can dump as much as they want now as long as they keep at least 100 Onions in their wallet. |

You get few Waves right now because the platform isn't used much. Once the new DEX and Wallet come out and usage increases the leasing rewards will go up too. But this will take some time. Look at how long it took Ethereum to get big and then check how long Waves has existed to get a feel.

Short term doesn't mean 1.5 years. Short term is 1 week, 1 month at most. 1.5 years is long-term. Waves couldn't make any 50x in short term. This thread should be closed already. Short term traditionally means up to 12 months, due to the tax code... So from that perspective crypto short-term is still anything that is less than 12 months, even though the market moves much faster due to the high volatility. |

Does anyone know how long it would take for waves to go up? It seems like its a taking a long time for it as people said it will go up to the moon etc.
Does anyone think it will even go lower? I already have a decent amount of waves but not enough i want total but if it gets lower, i would definitely buy more. But the price now is under 3 dollars which is already pretty low.
Probably a few more months since the new features are announced for Q1 2018. The price probably won't go much lower because of the staking rewards and upside potential, but nobody really knows this for sure. Waves has been stable around 3 to 5 dollars for quite a while now though. |

They presented a nice exchange with cute interface (old DEX have a terrible one), waiting for WAVES explorer - it is one of the most important steps for becoming "BestBlockChainAfterEthereum".
Do you have a link to the new exchange? The only "news" about Waves that I could find on Google were about Cryptopia delisting Waves cause of too many forks that caused financial losses for people. |

Have you used the Waves DEX? It's pretty bad right now and completely unusable for any serious trader. Which is also why the volume is so low. The proposition is nice, but so far they didn't deliver. I'm still waiting for a useful decentralized exchange and I'm hoping that Waves will put out soon, in which case the price would surely skyrocket. But this day hasn't come yet. Not completely unstable, i use it a lot and it works well. But like you said, when the new DEX comes out, it'll help for more smoother trades. He did say unusable though, not unstable. And the DEX really is complete trash compared to the leading crypto exchanges (no charts, no indicators, can't change time frequency etc.), so it might as well be unusable. There is no reason to use Waves DEX over Bittrex or something else... Until this changes Waves will stay flat at best. |

yes you should go to college. There are more opportunities when you are a degree holder. I think so too. College is a good way to strengthen your credential, and although it may seem difficult, it is actually the easiest way to bolster your standing to be able to gain better jobs and opportunities in general. However, I am not saying that it's all about going to college. I understand that in the US, student loans are killers, especially with sought after degrees. But as I see it, the sacrifice would be worth it. College is very easy if you actually put in a little bit of work. Everyone who complains about how difficult college is wastes all of their time partying and hanging out. |

Of course, we need to save our planet this is where we live, where we breath and where we dream how to be. Save the earth before we regret for what will happen. Always clean the environment and avoid creating pollutions are one of the ways to save our earth. We need to step up to our corrupt leaders and corporate lobbyists to keep the environment clean and avoiding pollution though. They keep spending the money that all the ignorant people pay them to ruin our planet harder and harder and nobody really cares enough to educate themselves and change. |

Well its sometimes not a question anymore if we want to or not. Its neceasary if you want to land a decent job so i thinm even if you don't want to go to college, you have to still go. Find inspiration to get you through it I don't think it's necessary for a decent job. The best paying jobs can be reached with degrees from sites like Udacity, which is cheaper and better than college. |

With current speed, AI will take control and own the digital world, and digital currency in specific.

By now, even new users who register on official DO forum can earn some onions by posting there right ? This would surely lead to high number of new users on DO forum.
What is with users like me, I was rejected 3 weeks ago because of low quality posts, and I was planing to became Member here, be active on DO forum, and then re-apply for airdrop. What has changed now with these new rules for such cases ?
As far as I understand, the old airdrop every friday will continue. But not all the Onions will be distributed on Friday. Some of the Onions will be kept by the team and distributed to the DeepOnion Forum participants based on the DeepPoints they earn. They will probably do another smaller airdrop for this on Saturdays or Sundays. . I think the fund for every friday airdrop shouldnt be affected because of the airdrop to be made for the DO DeepPoints. Hopefully it will be like this so that the airdrop for DeepPoints will just serve as an another incentive for those who are active in the official DO community. Correct me if i'm not right but i heard that we can only withdraw 10% of amount onions we have in our wallet if we want to continue receiving every friday ?   This is correct. You also have to be careful when transfering your Onions. Please read up on the "coin control feature", which you absolutely must use if you want to move your coins without risking to get blacklisted. If you move coins without the coin control feature, the rest of your coins will be transacted to a new internal address (for anonymity) and your airdrop address will then be left with 0% coins. Don't send Onions until you really know what you are doing. Practice with 1 Onion at a time until you understand how to use coin control without moving the rest of your coins out of your airdrop wallet. |
