Is the payout happening before the fork? Or are we heading for a 3 week round now?
402  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: July 31, 2017, 01:25:42 PM
Taxation is theft. Revoke your citizenship, move to unclaimed territory and start your own nation. You are independent and in control!

PS Try to stay out of war.
There is no unclaimed territory left on earth. And claiming territory on Mars won't be possible for quite some time.
403  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: July 31, 2017, 12:25:43 PM
I have yet to hear about a drug free country. Not even the big US of A is drug-free. Let alone a country such as the Philippines. However, I admire the Phil president for his dedication and hard work to eradicate drugs in his country. Never have i seen a man work so relentless to solve a dug problem. Who knows he might make history by making his country the first ever drug free. Nevertheless, the fight against illegal drugs doesn't rest in one mans hand only. It must be a collective effort from citizens of a country. Should they decide to be drug free they must do their part in the fight by not using/selling, passing helpful information to authorities, etc.
I've been spamming this quite heavily in this thread now, but that's mostly because nobody seems to be reading anything.

A drug free country does not exist and will never exist.

The use of drugs is a paramount aspect of human nature. Humans have been using drugs since long before any hint of modern civilization came into being. There is nothing wrong with taking drugs responsibly and there will always be people who will be compelled to try drugs, no matter how hard idiotic uninformed nonsense will try to demonize the use.
Nobody other than sheep and greedy warmongers and profiteers want "drug-free" countries. And most of the people I've just mentioned only pretend to fight for a drug-free world. Nobody who knows anything about drugs would ever propagate this war on drugs nonsense.
404  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: July 31, 2017, 12:02:05 PM
Can the president of the Philippines can do it. Well I like what his doing in his campaign. It is very amazing program and very work program in the country. Many were discipline now because of him.
I don't really think that there would be a drug free country,
I mean yeah he could really lessen the number of user's but the truth is we couldn't really know how many users are in the country,
How could we tell if the country is drug free?
No country will ever be drug free. I'm an academic and I know a lot of very successful people who partake in recreational use of substances of all kinds without damaging their mental or physical health or private/public life.

The only reason drugs are banned are greed-driven propaganda and silly power games. The same people who ban drugs are the ones stuffing their bags and laundering money en masse while pretending to be some saviors of justice.
405  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: July 31, 2017, 04:40:06 AM
I think our President Rodrigo Duterte can make the Philiplines free from drugs. I believe with the support from everyone, this dream can be achieve in no time. As i see today, people critizes our the negative side of the program but doesn't look atthe positive effects from it. I, as a student, i hope that this goal can be achieve as soon a possible to make our country better.
There are no positive sides. If you study developed nations and human history you will quickly come to understand that drugs can not be eradicated from human societies. They will always exist, and fighting them with violence is a despicable crime against all of humanity.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Hiring] Open Job Vacancy/Positions in Bounty programs -Promotion and management on: July 31, 2017, 03:53:58 AM
Hello!

I am interested in positions as a Global (English) and Local (German) thread manager.

You can refer to my posts to check for the quality of my contents, it should be pretty self-evident that my services would be constructive and at the absolute top quality-wise.

I would be happy to disclose some more private information (degree program, grades, past translations and proof-reading) via PM.

P.S. I am only interested in supporting ICOs that have a solid project. I will reserve the right to stay away from anything that seems fishy or like a "get rich quick" scheme for the founders.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good investment you can do with BTC? on: July 31, 2017, 03:48:46 AM
The only option is to invest those bitcoin in altcoin when they are dumping hard like right now. ETH and LTC are in red for months so a good pump in its price is quite guaranteed and even a newbie traders can invest few hundred in them today to get good profit within next few weeks when all this chaos and hype around hardfork and segwit will over.
altcoin investment  is too good, because there are a lot of altcoin where there are more chances that its price will increase, so if a person has a big amount of money and if he can manage then he should also invest money in altcoin. to i mostly invest my bitcoin in different ICOs and from there i am earning a good amount of money. but i have to do good study about ICOs first.
I honestly don't think the volume invested matters too much when allocating a portfolio in cryptos. As long as you have a few hundred $ in BTC, it's best to keep a large chunk in BTC and spread out a smaller portion over a few alts. Exact numbers vary with an investor's risk profile, the more BTC you hold the "safer" the investment becomes since BTC is less volatile than altcoins. The more you have in alts the riskier, but the higher the potential returns.
Basically sit down with a pen and paper (or program something) to check what the maximum draw-down of your portfolio is going to be and adjust accordingly.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: alts 2 buy in august on: July 30, 2017, 04:11:08 PM
I'm not familiar on all the coin listed on the OP. Is that all shitcoins listed on yobit exchange? The promising altcoin to invest in august are ETT and SONM. They are both undervalue with a lot of potential to pump sooner.
AiCoin is going to be profitable regardless of speculations, simply due to its nature.

Steemit is promising as well, look it up for sure.

Wings seems to be something like Waves I believe, I've seen it a lot but can't really comment on it.

EQT has been pretty stable regardless of the market situation and has a solid use-case proposal.

AiCoin is the most promising of all alts in my opinion though, since it already has a working product and a great model. It's quite likely to be profitably completely independent of the state of the markets. Also has a very solid team behind it.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: alts 2 buy in august on: July 30, 2017, 02:41:09 PM
Is better buy in 2nd august than now?
Nobody knows that. It could very well be that by August 2 prices would have started climbing already. Not really possible to make a prediction right now.
410  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking a loan to buy bitcoin on: July 30, 2017, 01:42:14 PM
And i say, fuck the bitcoin. The price is already too high. It was good for 200USD and now forget about it. Its better to split 100k USD and invest in 10 different altcoins that cost now around 1-5 USD only. The revenue after 1-2 years may be x100. All you need is only one to go to the moon and the rest 9 of them may go to 0. You will make a shit load of money anyway and the chances of loosing the money is really low investing in 10 different projects. In this case you still make 900k.

Well, my stragety trading not putting all to a cryptocurrency, I split to many parts, not stop 10 altcoin, even I can split to 30 altcoin in my list. So, about the risk I still have but I think it still better than putting all to Bitcoin.
I suggest investing in fewer Altcoins and researching them more thoroughly instead. If you over-diversify you end up investing in more shitcoins, since you won't be able to properly gauge the value of so many coins.

And how to choose the altcoin? I doubt that someone can answer this question. These coins are very unpredictable. You can invest in Bitcoin and the most popular coins. Rating of the most popular altcoins can be found on any investment site
There is no cookie-cutter way of determining good altcoin investments. I wouldn't follow popular coins either, although I would be more likely to check them out. In the end only one thing matters: Is the coin useful or not.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: July 30, 2017, 01:35:40 PM
I would never rely on a "lucky day". Even if it seems like you have found a way to predict a "lucky day", you will almost certainly lose in the long run by relying on it.
I do always fall on this trap on which you would really feel up that you are lucky on that day and the results are already going the same way. I do ride it up as long i do win but when i do already lose for few times i do already have some doubts that i will already lose this time and later on when i lost already my money thats the time that i should really stop on those times when i already experiencing loss.
Happens to almost all people at least once in their lifetime. Just how human nature works I suppose.

413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 30, 2017, 01:03:56 PM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
To avoid more losing, the smart way you can do is to stop. Gambling is not profitable, it will bring our life to nothing. If you involved in gambling  the smart way you can do is to control yourself to become addicted, used this as entertainment and don't spend too much time instead find new hobbies that will alternate to gambling. First, you need to think what will the possible result of gambling in our life to avoid blaming yourself in the end.
big check.there is no smart way to play gambling even if gou are genius .you cannot be sure on what would really happen in gambling.you cant predict it.that is why gambling is not profitable.dont be  addited on it .
Our fate depends on how we handle ourselves when we are gambling, also it depends on our goal because every goal has different steps or method to achieve it. If we are only looking for entertainment then it's better because it is already assume that we can play this expensive kind of entertainment and we should remain to be fun oriented and will not change it to profit oriented.

The moment we treat gambling as our source of income and is aiming for high profit is the same moment we are tossing ourselves to a life of stress and disappoint. The fact that there are a house advantage signals that the casino will always likely win against us. However, it is true that if we just play for fun, then everything is cool and no hurt feelings when we lose a session.
Agreed. The smartest way to gamble is to set limits and to enjoy yourself in the process without expecting any profits.

I'd park some money in AiCoin and perhaps Blocklancer as well.

AiCoin is the most promising fresh investment opportunity that I've found in crypto so far (reliable and strong expected returns).

Blocklancer could easily pop off massively, but this one is a longer term investment.

blocklancer is the ico right?

aicoin didnt know about it will research
Blocklancer is the ICO, correct.

AiCoin is an ICO as well, but due to its structure it is highly improbable that it will trade below its ICO price. Anybody who would do that doesn't understand what AiCoin is about.

P.S. I've studied the legal and whitepaper extensively and AiCoin is basically an application of my field of study (Mathematical Statistics/ML), so I can give you a good idea of what the project is about. So if you've got any questions, shoot away.
(Would appreciate it if you used my referral if you decided to invest in it and if I could help you with getting a feeling for the project.)

Hey.

I've responded in your other thread, please go check my response over there.

You shouldn't go around posting the same thread all over the forum by the way, people don't really like that here.

Either way, welcome.
416  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is science a religion? on: July 30, 2017, 12:38:26 PM
Religion is based on belief, science is based on proof.
Science is based on evidence, not proof. People often conflate the two terms.

Science, for most people, is based on the belief that a lot of evidence means proof, and as such is no more than religion.

There are not many people who really understand science as what it is and as what it was intended to be... a tool for exploring and developing our reality.
Science in its very core can not provide proof of any kind and anybody who understands Statistics deeply enough know this. Unfortunately even a lot of scientists don't understand this, since they only study how to use Statistics, but not how it work.

In either case, science as used by the majority of people on this planet is no different from a religion.

418  Economy / Speculation / Re: prediction on 2018 bitcoin will become on: July 30, 2017, 12:21:33 PM
who know bitcoin will become in 2018 i think its not possible it become 50k USD  Grin Grin

This topic should be moved in the "Speculation" category.
If Segwit2x is successfull and bitcoin transactions become cheaper and faster(or even instant),BTC
will rise to 10K USD.Reaching 50K USD is doable during the next 5 years,if there are no major hard forks and no dirty government and central bank tricks(no attempts to destroy bitcoin).

This is true. The August 1 or what will happen in August will be the next page of btc and if sucessfull, the price will be double or triple. The 2018 mark on 5000 dollars is just a speculation and I think government and other corporations will take btc seriously if it hits the 5000 dollars and above and they will try to enter it's world and this will be a tough battle on both sides.

Government can make a big impact like making btc illegal or make media to try to destroy btc and I hope that won't happen.
I would be quite surprised if Governments weren't taking Bitcoin & co seriously already. It's just that rolling out policies is an extremely inefficient and slow process. It'll probably be too late for governments to intervene in any meaningful way by the time they're actually ready to do so, lol...
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: July 30, 2017, 12:19:22 PM
If you would like to test bitcoins, and to see how to send and receive transactions it could be a good choice, but if you trust on gambling to earn some bitcoins as a newbie , I don't think it is a good idea, as You could find yourself losing your hard earn money.

Also we don;'t want new people to put a direct connect between bitcoin and gambling, we want newbies to consider it as a currency not as a gambling token

to test there is still a way besides betting maybe buy something with bitcoin. indeed it's not good for beginners to directly connect the bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a coin for gambling though he's not a newbie of gambling.

If we just want to know how to send and receive bitcoin, we don't need to do it with gambling site. We can make two wallet and send from one of them to the other one. As a newbie who intend to do gamble, people should know that they can have bad experiences in gambling. They should prepare for it and make a steady plan before make their feet wet.
A lot of countries offer pizza (etc) delivery for Bitcoins these days. So that's a good way to get started with actually using Bitcoins. It gives you an idea of how to use them and shows a new user that Bitcoins can indeed be useful in every-day life.
Of course, learning how to invest in a way that avoids risk is the best thing one can do. Not just in crypto-markets either, but in general. Investing is the easiest way to build up a substantial amount of wealth. Even with stock market investments, a modest average salary can create millionaires within 20 years.
420  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I mine btc in easiest way?:) on: July 30, 2017, 12:14:21 PM
Definitely don't mine Bitcoin. It's not profitable enough for "small fishes".
Altcoins are only worth it if you have a decent amount of money to invest and/or extremely low electricity prices (substantially lower than 10 cents per KWH).

If you do start mining, you need to consider the following in your calculations:

- Tax can be substantial and up to 60% depending on the country that you live in.

- Difficulty increase by a lot, this will also eat a good amount of your profit over time.

- Electricity prices are no joke and most people can not mine profitably due to this factor alone.

- Rent for a hall in which you can park your rigs.

Basically, mining is only really worth your time and money if you can blow at least 30-50k USD into hardware, electricity and rent. You can't set up that much hardware at home without frying your grid, so you would need to rent extra space for your rigs.
