idk man, im on this coin to MAKE money, it's not MY project to PUT a penny into but my mining costs tbh Cheesy
ill prob just mine for as long as possible and then stake as much as i can, if the project is a top 25'er, we will see Trex without a penny from me Smiley
And if not ill dump my bags and take my BTC away happily Smiley
Some might be more intrested than me in crowdfunding that tho Smiley

let say you have 100k of 3M netko,
100k worth more less 4.6btc now
every such holder like you should contribute 0.1btc to have 3btc for bittrex entry,
bittrex entry will boost the price, let's make prediction: 20k sat (almost 10k was on cryptopia already)

your 0.1btc investment will change your 4.5btc into 20btc
if it's not MAKING money, I don't know what is ...

Anyone else here mining this?

nope highly unprofitable,  everytime someone other than me mines Netko a puppy cries, dont do it man, angels will fall from the sky ! ;p

haha, im kidding of course, i am mining this, great profits on Nvidia, can't wait for PoS, and if we can use these tokens one day for IT stuff hey thats cool too! Cheesy
Only 2000 or so more blocks till Proof of Stake! Get your bags in now boys

and what do you think about crowdfunding it? Smiley

sorry for my long inactivity..
btw, nVidia + KopiemTu allows for 2 weeks of holiday without any hashrate impact for GPU farm Smiley

I have got nice amount of Verts by mining recently - thanks a lot! Smiley

Hmmmm this sounds like JC (John Conor) from vanillacoin.

No really shure what you mean. If the subject is about me or my identity, my name is Jure i am from Slovenia and this is my blockchain id https://onename.com/staysecure.

Cheers.

Yes Jure i can vouch for u , my PR manager ... jkeep up the good work
we have ups and downs i see many ppl impatient, but thats the purpose...to be patient...all good things have to develop... slowly...

i think we will surprise our miners soon...

Taking into consideration a number of patience/patient occurance above...
the 1 NETKO - seems to be just discovered unit of patience Wink

I dont see anyone complaining with bitcoin not seeing a light of day for almost 3 year after genesis block. Why is cryptoworld in such a hurry all the time. Whats wrong with talking a steady and calm road.
In the mainstream blockchain tech is still in in experimental stage. Shure its usage is spreading like wildfire, As mentioned before everyone involved have day jobs, company to run, family and whole lot of other projects running in between. Guys at Netko d.o.o. are swamped with work right now i cant even catch a 30 minute coffee meetup time with Grega (hopefully we can do it tomorrow).

Personally i am focusing my last two week on getting CoinTelegraph Slovenia back on track and at the same time planning the 7th Bitcoin Pizza Anniversary part for our Bitcoin association Slovenia so appologies if we havent met the lightening expecations some have. Rest ashure we are here to stay and NETKO blockchain aint going no where.

And if 1 NETKO is the patience unit of value then post your Netko address and will sent you a few NETKOs to buy that patience for you Smiley

Finest regard to everyone.

I'm five-digit patient now, so only a few - would be not really significant patience improvement, then Cheesy

610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: March 29, 2017, 10:47:51 AM

Hi,

I have such messages from time to time, using your ccminer-1.8.4 for blake2s algo:

"GPU #1: result for 00000001 does not validate on CPU!"

it seems I'm not alone:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1810858.msg18109246#msg18109246

- but in my case that is also in 1.8.4

what is the reason of that message, and how to solve it?

612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KopiemTu 3.0 - ethash & equihash - NVIDIA USB linux distro on: March 28, 2017, 07:59:31 AM
Hi jk_14,

I'm trying to run KopiemTu with 2 GTX 1070 FE. Unfortunately every few minutes it switches algo and after few more minutes it restarts.
Also in web interface there is "2 GPUs not OK".
Also tried with only 1 GPU. Same behaviour.
I've tried to lower the power in /root/powerlimit.conf. Same behaviour.

I've noticed that /tmp/failover and /tmp/done files do appear.

Killing monitor seems to stop the algo switching and rebooting.

Any idea how to solve this?

Thanks,
Lastbit

probably your ccminer produce output, what monitor is not able to properly discover hashrates from,

just: monitor stop

(and remove files in /tmp like above: failover done reboot
it definitely should correct that issue, while killing monitor never stop the mining...)

P.S. in fact, there is so many new syntax in different ccminer clones, that monitor should be rewritten long time ago (instead of patching it)
I will do it some day - as it is not comfortable for me, too Smiley

613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KopiemTu 3.0 - ethash & equihash - NVIDIA USB linux distro on: March 27, 2017, 09:39:39 PM
Hi jk_14 Smiley

I am working on trying to control fan on the rigs due to shitty GPU fan speed curve on the bios.

most cards runs at a ridiculous low fan speed to enforce planned obsolescence "prevent noise" or so they say, the result is, the card is hot as fuck, and the fan runs at 20 or 25% speed at the most, plain stupid.

Hi, Induktor!

very thorough investigation, thanks a lot Smiley

btw: for you card is hot at what temperature?

I have now 65-70C and fan in 40-50% with bios settings, so not too slow it seems, and not too fast neither (for longer life of fans)
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [NETKO][NETKO] PoW/PoS | NO PREMINE | BLAKE2S | 8.MARCH 2017 on: March 20, 2017, 02:10:27 PM
Hi all sorry i have been attending IT security conference, so i had no time to respond. Staysecure thanks for helping out Smiley
Im also solo mining all the time since diff is decreasing.
Regarding the profitability you could never tell with so many coins rising up every day. But apart from that we did a great launch and whats the morst importan thing that it was fair, no premine no bullshit, and a bunch of real persons behind it which are trying to keep up this crazy crypto world.
Hope this coin gets on many exchanges.

thanks again for supporting us

Netko Team

regards
Grega

diff is decreasing due to inconsistent messages:

"We have no expectations of being listed on super hot / high volumen exchanges"
"Hope this coin gets on many exchanges."

miners usually have expectations of being listed on many exchanges (the hotter the better)
as simple as that

Hi @jk_14 clearly a missinterpretation. Expectations are one thing what will actually become reality is another. Please note that Cryptopia listing was paid for and since NETKO had and open launch with zero premine there is no NETKO coins for developers. We have to buy or mine if we want some. With that in mind community must be realistic as well in regards to what aspects of the project will recive prioroity funding and at this stage it would no be reasonable to just go around and start throwing money around for exchange listings. In regards to my job with NETKO i am here to help out and to make shure team NETKO delivers the core services that this blockchain was created for wich are : M2M communications, Loyalty tokens for NETKO company existing and future clients and merchant solutions so people can purchase products and services from NETKO with NETKOs.
Hope you are satisfied with my reply. A great day to everyone.

Send your NETKO "CV" in official way to exchanges, describe exactly the same concepts which you describe here,
add some information about RISK2017, about fair and very successfull launch, eg.:

"But apart from that we did a great launch and whats the most important thing that it was fair, no premine no bullshit,
and a bunch of real persons behind it which are trying to... "

and I'm pretty sure at least one of biggest exchanges (Polo, Bittrex, etc) will add such prospective project (maybe even for free)

our voting is only one of elements, not more important than such activity above, for sure

There is one named KopiemTu,here is the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=520998.0

it has pascal support, but you may just need to install ewbf's miner to use it (which is so easy (sudo dpkg -i))

instead you may install lubuntu+latest nvidia driver from ppa+ewbf's miner and use it

Tried Kopiem, was for me plus ewbf was not working real well in it.  I have spent the better part of 8 hours working on lubuntu with nvidia drivers, got things working the way I want, even got overclock settings to automatically set at startup.  Only thing I have left is to get ewbf to start at bootup after the oc settings and to build a good webpage with monitoring

cd /root; mine stop; monitor stop

wget http://mbl.cash/ewbf.tgz
tar -xPf ewbf.tgz
mine switch
mine start

should work, I use it for my new instances, too.

618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KopiemTu 3.0 - ethash & equihash - NVIDIA USB linux distro on: March 14, 2017, 09:14:06 AM
All--

I'm going to build two more rigs.  I'm not satisfied with the motherboards I have now (they were leftover from another project).

So, since these will be NVIDIA rigs, I would like to get recommendations from all of you.

- What motherboards are you using with KopiemTu
- Have you run 6 cards on your motherboard? (and if so, what did you need to change to enable it)
- Any feedback or suggestions for what I should buy.

I'm thinking of either spending real money and getting a Z270 (more PCIe lanes, even though I can't seem to make use of them) and thus maybe more future proof. Or going cheap and getting cheaper motherboards-- especially if I can only get 4 GPUs per board.

Thanks in advance!

(I would search but unfortunately board search doesn't work for me for some reason- takes me to empty google page.)

I work with used Supermicro X9SCM-F or -iiF, 4 PCI-e, IPMI (remote access to BIOS), stable as rock
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to mine with Ubuntu - 4 cards work, two are "UNCLAIMED"? on: March 13, 2017, 10:37:28 AM

"Above 4G Decoding"

you can try to find something similar in your BIOS and enable it

It appears my BIOS does not have that option.  It's not in the PCIe (and searching ASUS's site that's where it would be).  It's not mentioned in the docs for this BIOS at all.

I see it for some Asus, too:

I must add one more hint...
it's nice to preserve SLI pins at least with some adhesive tape or plastic cover
because some of pins may be dimmed after months
