1221  Economy / Economics / Re: Wasn't that good to use bitcoin as your lifetime asset? on: August 08, 2017, 03:22:37 PM
Please help me make clear idea about how good bitcoin is to be a digital asset as we become old in the future, and this served as our lifetime asset same as pension when your retire from your current job at the age of 60.
Bitcoin is a pretty good digital asset and yes it can act as a pension,a saving for any particular or general purposes and like i always say bitcoin acts in the form of a passive/secondary income ,it all depends on how you want to treat it. You like the idea of bitcoin, and realise its worth and you want to treat it like an asset then good for you.But you don't like /believe it then its your loss.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tragedy day for bitcoin on: August 07, 2017, 06:43:06 PM
After btc-e scamming, BTC community was experienced another tragedy. The name is forking in blockchain
Million of dollars moves from Bitcoin segwit market to bitcoin cash market and btc segwit cap has dropped some. After adjusting difficulty in btc cash's netwrok we will experience more drop of bitcoin Segwit cap's market. Miners want more profit and if price remains at this range miners will migrated to BTC cash very soon after adjust difficulty.

I am worried about coming more forks at November. Some big whales and developers and Political's Camp have got the control of the Satoshi nakamoto's Bitcoin and we can do nothing. So i decided to sell all of my btc cash and btc Segwit and comes out very fast from this business. Good luck all

Don't worry mate , nothing big is not going to happen. Bitcoin ain't a small kid that people can mess around with. Also why do you give up so easily, some spam in the market made you lose your entire faith in bitcoin? Are you kidding me, if this scares you out then there are some places where things worse than this happen and those people still didn't give up,so why are you?
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 07, 2017, 03:03:57 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Probably bitcoin is gonna get replaced by a crypto that will stay more than bitcoin and other cryptos would ever have. Its gonna have an upgraded bitcoin with better and amazing features under another name. It will make its way into the world in such a way that no other crypto would be stable enough to survive its competitor. I am saying such things not because i hate bitcoin or something, its just that i want a crypto currency without any flaw(even though everyone and everything has at least one flaw).

1224  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: August 07, 2017, 09:57:56 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
Bitcoin gonna last long than any other crypto currency ever will ,boy. It is gonna reign over fiat even though it's gonna take a few decades probably . But you never know it can happen before even we know it. I am gonna wait for it to happen, and hopefully this will make sure that world peace can be started with something that is not visible aka bitcoin.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: August 06, 2017, 07:01:27 PM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!
The answer doesn't change every time ,so as always you can opt for a cold storage or hardware wallet or multi sig wallet. These 3 are the safest and most popularly used by people who have earned in bitcoin. It would be even better if you don't keep all your money in a single wallet and keep in different wallets ,which would not only ensure the safety of your bitcoins;if your bitcoin gets lost from one wallet ,you won't lose your whole money also you would have your backup money to recover from your loss that you went through(that no one should ever have, but you never know) .
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin world currency on: August 06, 2017, 03:46:32 PM
is it possible that we can use bitcoins in buying all commodities not only in one country but the entire wold? and how will this affect the economy.
Global currency is an amazing thing but yeah it ain't gonna be implemented for at least 10 years . Bitcoin has transaction fees , why don't you convert bitcoin to normal currency and buy whatever you want,it's not necessary that you need to use bitcoin only for buying what you need is it? And as I said it needs to be implemented for it to affect the economy,so let's wait and see.

How long will bitcoin last is an interesting question. The answer is definitely not forever, maybe like 10-30 years from now I believe. Also we can experience sudden crashes like from 3000$ to boom 1000$ In a week or maybe even worse scenarios. But it can recover later maybe it cannot, you never know.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are active these days. on: August 05, 2017, 07:06:09 PM
Some bitcoin users told me not to do transactions in these couple of days because hackers are active these days. I want to know is it true? or some kind of rumor? Anyone here who have faced such problem?
So did I hear such things, but I guess it's safe now to make transactions, but small amounts is suggested. If what you are saying is true that hackers are active, it won't take long for them to know any big transactions and when they come to know, they will lay their hands on it. I did hear a story that some one lost a big amount of bitcoin a couple of days ago, not sure if he is lying or not. If he is telling the truth, then lets take  necessary action to avoid such things happening to us also.
1229  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: August 05, 2017, 06:19:33 PM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!
That seems like a good idea for me to be honest. Didn't think of such a thing before, but yeah if I am gonna do that, I need to wait for some more years so that I could buy a proper bigger piece of property and not randomly. You would be benefitted from that if you convert your btc and convert into your native currency and the  buy a property, boom you should be lucky if you buy property only by spending on how much you earned in bitcoin.
1230  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: August 05, 2017, 03:24:47 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Bitcoin already has lead to corruption if you didn't know. Even though not a lot of people know or use bitcoin, there are people who do corrupt things and I don't think that everyone involved in corruption can be stopped from doing even more . It's just seems a good and  easy way to earn money for them so why not go for it?
1231  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: August 05, 2017, 01:09:07 PM
I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.

This is the analisis I made:

On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd

On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd

On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd

Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

That is amazing.

I wonder what are the new rich people doing right know? have they realised that they are rich yet.

Well I don't know how many people got rich because of that theory, but I don't think that so people hold their bitcoin for that long. There are people here who can't even hold their bitcoin for 2 days. Holding bitcoin for years is something that not everybody does. But if they did good for them they are rich.  But I have heard stories that some people dumped bitcoin few years ago because they thought that it was a waste of money and time. Sad for them they would have been rich by now if they hadn't dumped it.

1232  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 05, 2017, 10:15:20 AM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
Bitcoin can replace Fiat seriously? Bitcoin is not abundant but Fiat is,  so it will take years for any crypto to replace Fiat and as of now economy is really bad for such things to happen and people will go like crazy. By 2022 technology should be developed in such a way that atleast everyone can access Internet. So not sure what is going to happen.
1233  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: August 04, 2017, 08:56:38 PM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?
Love for God is not related with money. Respecting elders is a Good thing but nowadays the current generation don't seem to get along with the previous generation/s. Most of the people are only in love with money not with people. As much as I hate to say it but it's truth what you are saying money is above God, people and literally everything.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: August 04, 2017, 06:02:55 PM
To people who are diehard fans of Game of Thrones, this is for you. Season 7 episode 4 aka Spoils of the war episode has been leaked online, but it would be a bit difficult for normal people to track it down. Its said that Star India pvt Ltd company had put it on their website but they brought it down eventually. A lot of spoilers still left, but I won't be posting in this forum because not everyone likes spoilers. Feel free to pm me if you need any more info about game of thrones.
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 04, 2017, 02:39:34 PM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
You cannot say which is the right time to buy bitcoin, if you really want to know when was the time I would say around 3-4 years ago. But are you sure that you want to buy 3-4 btc without knowing more about btc. I don't think it would be a good option, for everyone will say including me that you can get profit but if the price drops people in this forum will be put to blame by you. First gain some knowledge, then think about investing.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase Reverses – Plans to Allow Bitcoin Cash Withdrawals in January 2018 on: August 04, 2017, 01:40:00 PM
Will I believe that this will atleast make some people happy, now that they can claim their rightful bitcoin cash(bcc or bch or whatever people call it).  Coinbase might have made this decision because they belong to one of the top bitcoin exchanges and not supporting bitcoin cash would lead them into major trouble. But at the end of the day they realised what is good for their exchange and their clients, and made sure that they won't take such decisions which will cost them later.
1237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin price is going down on: August 04, 2017, 11:21:57 AM
HI Guys,
Today i invested 3000USD for bitcoin. but i found that from last 2 days its price is down. I am new to this bitcoins. i am little scary to keep this much amount because it is going down. its already come down to 75USD less when compared to to my investment time.
Is there any particular reason for this change is the BTC price..?
can i keep the investment as it is  or can i sold it for loss of 100usd..?
please suggest me... .
Since you are new to this forum and bitcoin, don't make such a mistake by investing in something that you do not know much about. Be happy that its bitcoin and not something else other wise you would have ended up with a huge loss. Know this for sure bitcoin is volatile so price keeps on changing. You get profit here only on a long term basis so would suggest you to have some patience. Also research on bitcoin as much as you can if you want to stay in the bitcoin community.
1238  Economy / Economics / Re: What must happen so that cryptocurrencies are less volatile? on: August 03, 2017, 08:58:55 PM
What would it take?

Does the volatility settle if certain amount of merchants accept payments in crypto? Or should there be more people that would get paid in crypto? OR should there be a cryptoeconomy where people and businesses get income in crypto and spent the crypto?

Furthermore, could the volatility be even solved? I mean of more and more people are getting into Bitcoin, when would such demand cycle cool down?

I would like to know the economics behind it.
People logic just keeps on getting amazing and gets more  involved in fantasies . They want to get rich but at the same time they dont want the factor that makes them rich so that very factor won't cause them a loss. Its human nature but still you should know that there cannot be only good always ,so good things always are in the way of the evil.  What i am trying to say is Volatility of crypto especially bitcoin is one of the key feature for why bitcoin ,you,me and everyone else who uses bitcoin is here. So controlling volatility cannot be a question to be asked because the answer is no and if its yes then everyone is in trouble.

1239  Economy / Exchanges / Re: who would have thought: Btc-e coming back this soon! on: August 02, 2017, 08:39:46 PM
they've released an official statement today in a couple of hours ago:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2056158.0
use google translate or look at comment #13, someone already did.
who would have thought they come back this soon and promise a refund!

the interesting line is the last one and says this Alexander guy wasn't their owner.
I heard about it as well but it's a scam is what people are saying.  Not sure on what has to be believed and what doesn't has to be believed.  You never know who is trying to spam you and who is not.  It's always better to be on the safer side. Let's just hope for the best.
