1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 05, 2017, 04:24:14 PM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
There are two possibilities or more, I am going with two:-
1. Bitcoin dies, and it takes all altcoins along with it and crypto currencies die, and fiat gets power more than it ever had or something new is introduced.
2. Bitcoin dies and ethereum or other crypto currencies become dominant.
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: September 04, 2017, 04:10:30 PM
My parent , especially my mom , she always tell me to stop doing bitcoin otherwise i will go to jail or doing bad things to social ! I don't get it ! Old generation seem very lack of experience in Bitcoin ! Why they keep telling us to stop when they even don't know how to check a simple email on ebay ! How to explain them guys ?
Thats sad indeed, been there my friend been there. I do agree its damn hard to convince them, because they think that we are either doing some shady shit(like porn, drugs or worse, you never know). So what will you do now? Simple, put the damn facts in front of them, annoy them everyday about what it really is,make a pros and cons list(keep that as the last option if nothing works out),do research on your own (and dont ask them to ,they will search all negatives in it first and then god knows what will happen). Or figure out a way that your parents will agree easily upon (do something that they always want you to do,for example :household work, score good marks in school etc) and then they might agree. If it doesn't work even then ,then you do what you want to and hide that from your parents and earn money and show it to them. I wish you all the best!
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moneyless Society on: September 04, 2017, 03:21:19 PM
Hi,

I wanted to run this by you and see what you say.

What if we scrapped money altogether and just gave everybody what they wanted?

I know it sounds ridiculous, and everybody would just go for 100 cars and 100 fancy houses, but if you think about it, if you could get everything you wanted, all those things wouldn't be as valuable anymore, and it would lose it's "richness" appeal and people would be bored by it after a while and just settle with what they actually needed. Don't we have all the technology and resources to make this happen? It could also mean less crimes would happen then too.

Sidenote: I love the idea of bitcoin so I don't really want to ruin bitcoin, but hey, maybe we could go there with bitcoin somehow... Smiley
Life aint that easy to get what you want bruh, you are not Cersei Lannister here. And what will you do after you get what you want? Sleep with women? Gamble? Drugs? No offense to anyone but common dude everyone earns money to get little satisfaction and then what ? And about the crimes that you mentioned ,it would be even difficult to figure out who the real criminal is and about the technology ,yes the world is developing but not at its very best. I know that everyone would love to be in their fastasy world but hey what can you do,none of us have the power to do so,otherwise it would have already been implemented by now.

1145  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 03, 2017, 07:26:50 PM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
First things first, not every one does the things they love, circumstances and situations force them to do so, at least I do the things I don't love. I don't know about others.
Second, everything and anything requires some amount of knowledge and everyone knows that the amount of knowledge differs depending upon the work.
Bitcoin is for everyone and we have more than that of a try, it is just your fate and your smartness that will make you rich/ successful in life.
1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Ransom on: September 03, 2017, 04:52:38 PM
What if you had, let's say....5000 Bitcoins in your custody and suddenly someone demanded it as a ransom in exchange for someone very important to you, would you make the exchange?
Wow.5000 btc is quite a amount, lets see 5000 btc when converted to usd will be 23,175,000~ approximately.
But for me nothing is as valuable as life, and if I had to give 5000 btc as a ransom ,I would give it to the person, but then if I am smart enough at that moment to figure out to not lose my money and save a person's life,I would risk it then and bust that dumb person out of the blue.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: September 03, 2017, 01:52:19 PM
You can pay with Bitcoin in several stores and even restaurants here in Germany. Are we the only one who have this?  Huh
Whoa. You serious,i haven't heard about it,might have skipped it by mistake maybe if i had come across any thread but havent read anything like this before. And its great to hear bitcoin growing large scale and with the price around 4800$. I did hear that Japan,China and Korea accept bitcoin as a payment ,so lets hope that it would be accepted worldwide soon.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: September 02, 2017, 07:53:31 PM
can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?
There are chances for such things to happen, like even if your computer gets infected by a virus or if a thing called a key logger is installed in your computer without your knowledge, then my friend your in deep trouble full of shit.  And your private keys should be protected in such a way that it is almost impossible for a hacker to get access to it.

1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin every days? on: September 01, 2017, 12:29:04 PM
How can you earn 40 dollars a day in bitcoin?? , let's share the knowledge on this topic , and hopefully we get more success after share my experience in here
If you are looking to earn 40$ per day as a permanent job, then 40 dollars multiplied by one month will give 1200$ which is very less for meeting your day-to-day expenses. If you spend more time on developing your skills you can earn far more than what you  expect.
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 01, 2017, 10:46:48 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
There may not exist courses in colleges about bitcoin but then i do know a website which offers to explain stuff related to bitcoin. Let me list that one out for anyone who needs help:- https://www.khanacademy.org/ ; this site offers so many courses for free and has videos for better understanding and learning. So good luck!

1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: September 01, 2017, 10:03:35 AM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
Bitcoin may not be number one for long, agreed because nothing has been existing forever as Number 1 but it will take atleast a few decades to replace bitcoin. So until then enjoy investing and playing between bitcoin and fiat cos you never know what will happen tomorrow.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 09:06:19 AM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin
Well i was going through a few articles and came across this thing called bitcoin and I was not very much surprised because i had heard one of my friends talking about it. So then did a lot of research and then came across this forum.  This is one of the places where i came across bitcoin.

1154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Jumps Above $4,800 for the First Time on: September 01, 2017, 07:56:03 AM
Bitcoin's price briefly passed above the $4,800 mark for the first time today.

According to data from CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI), the price of the cryptocurrency hit a high of $4,802.74, before falling back to levels seen over the past few hours of trading.

Guys what would be opinion upcoming months and what is expected price in upcoming year. Normally price use to bump when we nearing new from Dec 20 to Jan 1.
Lot of people are considering this as a fact that bitcoin will reach 10000$ by the end of 2017 . Well I put my money saying that bitcoin will reach 7000$ at least and then the rest is history. Until then all you can do is wait and hope for the best.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 07:14:13 AM
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
Common dude let em enjoy their lives, because after they grow up all they are going to do is figure out on how to earn money.  Until then let them take the time to gain some knowledge and to become smart and not fall into people 's traps.
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: September 01, 2017, 06:25:56 AM
Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

There might be a crash every few months as you can't expect the price to rise everyday. So you can buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. And the volatility will exist forever like it or not.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 05:43:43 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?
I am going to keep on investing in bitcoin and crypto currency related stuff.  But I am gonna save up some money also so that I can avoid few of the many hurdles that might come in the future.  And about stock market, are you sure?  ,because if you don't have proper knowledge, you will end up getting a loss.
1158  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc and government, what does the future holds? on: August 31, 2017, 07:44:06 PM
It crossed my mind yesterday and I was thinking what if the government wakes up with an obnoxious law against btc ?
Its trade, exchange and outrightly banning btc usage.
Is this possible?
Do you see this coming?
What do you think & what will happen?
It's quite possible because it's a kind of a loss to the government and the government will do anything In it's power to abandon it from it's people who are using it.  And the people who are committing crimes using bitcoin has caused the government a lot of issues and problems.  So the government does has a legitimate reason for banning bitcoin.
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does every mainstream media article on Bitcoin end in negativity? on: August 31, 2017, 06:18:56 PM
So for years now there's this running joke, that you can spy an MSM Bitcoin 'hit piece' article by either 1) the left compliment title, or 2) by the negative note left by the very last paragraph or the last line. If the headline doesn't turn Average Joe off completely, then the author must always end the article on a negative note to make sure and sway Average Joe away from Bitcoin.

Here's a typical one:

Bitcoin is more valuable than gold — but nowhere near as stable
http://www.businessinsider.com/bitcoin-price-surges-past-gold-chart-2017-8

I'll quote the very last paragraph:

Quote
Despite their similarities, there's one key difference: Gold has been much stabler than bitcoin, as we can see in this chart from Statista, which is based on data from Coindesk and onvista. So, for investors looking for a safe bet, the precious metal is still the way to go.

I beg you, find me one that breaks this format pattern and prove me wrong!  Grin
It's true, people just cannot accept the fact that bitcoin has breaken so many records that any other currency or gold, and other precious metals have not broken.  And media does this so that people will believe in it ,and then media will play their usual mind games with the people.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The power of Bitcoin on: August 31, 2017, 02:41:36 PM
The power of Bitcoin, $10,000 Bitcoin Investment in 2010 Now Worth $200 Million
Yea,the power of bitcoin, its misunderstood by people who dont even know what bitcoin even is,so who cares its their loss. Because the truth is at the end of the day,all your misconceptions about bitcoin will be untrue and you will be the one who will regret it. So the decision is yours as the ball is in your court, its on you on what you do with it,make a good tactic or lose it to your opponent.
