1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 06, 2017, 09:41:37 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
Its very very risky when you put your entire money in bitcoin and not keep at least a small portion in bank. In banks you can withdraw your money whenever you want and it will hardly take any time. But when you withdraw bitcoin it will take more time. Its always suggested that you keep your money in different places as you can have a backup as a Plan B when Plan A fails.
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emcash on: October 05, 2017, 07:36:09 PM
EmCash is going to be UAE's first ever crypto currency and US will also pay a big role in it in some regulation aspects I believe. And the reason for the UAE government to introduce Emcash is that they are going to be the host of EXPO 2020 and they want to attract as many people as possible and to create a opportunity for governments to put their eyes on the development of UAE and for collaboration and to maintain peace in their territory. EmCash will be very much successful only because of the time they have decided to bring it in,the time when crypto currency was booming and the entire world facing a recession.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many new ICO, how to check if it's scam? on: October 05, 2017, 06:15:02 PM
So many new ICO, and they all have new idea and tech listed on their webpages,

and even the websites use the same template...

but so many new ICO, how to check if it's scam, or worth to invest...
Best thing to do is an EDD(enhanced due diligence)  is what I term it, and here is an example on how it works in basic terms.
Read their white paper, interrogate with them in various social media sources with different user names. Check their website for every small thing and find out a loophole if any. Try to bluff about their ico and the way they react should be observed carefully. And also figure out how they are going to utilize the funds they receive from people and how well they are going to return it back.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: October 05, 2017, 05:04:48 PM
What do you think will happen to crypto currencies following the latest news on the #ban on ICO in China?

will the already successful ICO's refund people's monies to them?

Is it good for governments to ban the use of crypto currencies?

Tell me what you think about any of these.  Smiley
The prices will rise as people got scared and they started dumping and this eventually resulted in a market crash. And a few days later prices started to recover and the market prices are back on ,baby! ICO bans will be a thing in the future that countries will be doing just because of icos scamming people or some other excuse that causes people to lose their money.

1025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your favorite trading exchange ? on: October 05, 2017, 03:53:27 PM
Hi all,

What is your favorite trading exchange ?
Why do you prefer this exchange ?
Do you trade only with your PC or do you use your smartphone also ?

Thanks  Wink
Bittrex and poloniex are better when it comes to user friendly interface and a few of the major crypto currency exchanges, and it's also recommended by most of the crypto currency users. These exchanges allow you to use them in your smartphone and your pc, providing another reason on why to use it. And most of the reputed and potential coins are listed in these exchanges which is the main reason why I use it.
1026  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: October 04, 2017, 08:19:57 PM
Coinbase, one of the best wallets I have used and it doesn't have any problems with me. And most of the exchanges and stuff have started to ask for KYC documents and coinbase hasn't yet. Maybe in the future it will. There are other exchanges where I keep my bitcoin for trading purposes and keep some in my hardware wallet.
1027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins good for trading? on: October 04, 2017, 06:20:05 PM
I wanna try trading but I don't know what coin to buy so that I could start with my trading. Can anybody help me and give me information on which tokens to invest in. Thank you.
Ethereum,Monero and litecoin have a lot of potential when you have to trade alt coins for a long run. There are a few more which can get you profit in a short term, some of them are cvc, xem, zcash, doge, dash and bitcoin cash etc . You can buy when the price drops and sell it again when it increases and repeat the cycle.
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: October 04, 2017, 04:53:32 PM
i am kinda new to Cryptocurrency .
i am going great in stocks. its really technical and fundamental kinda investments
as i see Cryptocurrency its alot more easy to invest and forget
should i shift to Cryptocurrency and start investing without tension and stress?
Future wise stock market, any day. But the hype of cryptos is increasing and stocks is decreasing, especially this year. But of late stock markets are facing a lot of issues because of recession is what I came across the other day. Stock is kinda even worse when it comes to risk and crypto is better ,so I am not sure if stock will exist or not in the future? Will crypto replace stock in the future? Seems a hard question to answer at the moment.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 04, 2017, 01:24:08 PM
Share your ideas here.   Grin

In my opinion, I think we will be stuck in one price or maybe worse we will all go down.

Here is what happened when US citizens are saving too much.

Quote
That's important because American spenders make up the majority -- about 70% -- of economic activity in the country. If people don't spend, the economy doesn't grow.

Check it out here

People will have to spend their bitcoin one day or the other. That's the basic reason for why you buy/earn bitcoin in the first place. And Americans don't spend because they scared of getting more and more losses because of recession going on all over the world.
1030  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make a win-win situation for both government and digital currency ? on: October 03, 2017, 08:51:02 PM
How a government can still manage its control over currency and finance without harshly regulating digital currencies ? Can we ever have a win-win situation ? Is there any economic model for decentralized currencies ?
Well that's actually easy. People are interested in decentralized digital currency which uses block chain technology and governments are very much interested in block chain and are conducting research and study on it is what I heard. So if you combine both of them you will get a crypto currency which will be regulated but at the same time block chain technology will be put to use.
1031  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 03, 2017, 07:38:28 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
Hard forks are going to occur as if its just a normal circumstances. That's a problem that miners have, they want things to work under their rules and regulations. Price should probably be increasing than expected ,crashes gonna occur more and more ,transaction fees might increase because bitcoin will get popular by the day and the demand will also increase rapidly.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if China ban was temporary on: October 03, 2017, 06:47:53 PM
Yes even I heard the rumors stating that the ban was temporary and China wanted to scare people by making a statement in the form of banning ICOs and exchanges. Though I don't know what is going to be the state of ICOs in china and South Korea ,but exchanges they will be back. And if china comes back before October 10 ,that's what rumors and sources say,the price will increase again. So why not I am ready for it.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: October - China back in the game ? on: October 03, 2017, 05:29:29 PM
New rumours surfacing about the return of China with regulations in October

https://news.bitcoin.com/virtual-currencies-expected-to-regulated-in-china-on-october-1st/

China obviously should be coming back because their contribution to bitcoin is way higher than other countries. Exchanges like OKcoin,Huobi a few of the biggest exchanges in china  should come back if not all exchanges do ,they will be enough to support China's crypto currency users.
Now another question is even South Korea has also banned ICOs,will they soon ban crypto exchanges also? Hm.. Let's wait and watch.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have ICOs killed off future distributed coins? on: October 03, 2017, 04:56:24 PM
ICOs have become like trash of late, they aren't as successful as they used to be before, they used to give profits most of the time and now people are selling their tokens at loss. China and South Korea banned ICOs because they wanted to avoid money laundering cases as a few ICOs are scamming people.
The hype that ICOs used to have doesn't exist anymore, its become the same like shares. In the beginning people used to invest in shares randomly without even thinking of a loss and it was the same for ICOs and then times changed. You have got to do some Due diligence on your own before you put your money in something.
1035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 03, 2017, 04:02:53 PM
Holding is good in a long term, any kind of investment is good in the long term if the root of the project is capable enough. I think holding is good but at the same time from business person's point of view, it's termed as waste of funds. Like you don't put much of use, it just stays in your wallet. You don't put it's potential, it's efficiency to much use when you hold. So what I prefer to do is trade bitcoin with all coins and whenever I get a profit, I convert it to bitcoin. And when the price falls of bitcoin I just reinvest.
1036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Spot A Bitcoin Scam on: October 02, 2017, 08:15:32 PM
Any ideas on how to spot a bitcoin scam?
One it promises things that is not likely to happen at all. Fake sites and fake evidence of existence etc. And not to mention dumbness and stupidity of people who believe in such superstitious stuffs. It would be better if you do a enhanced due diligence of your own so that you would know whether or not it's really a scam. Be careful out there chaps, people will stab right when you need em.
1037  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: October 02, 2017, 07:19:53 PM
For 1 Bitcoin to be worth $1,000,000, the total market cap of Bitcoin would have to be $21 trillion dollars. What are the odds of this happening?

For reference, the amount of physical $dollars and coins in circulation are around $1.2 trillion. The global M2 money supply of all currencies are around $45 trillion. The market cap of all mined gold is around $7 trillion.

Will 1 Bitcoin be worth a million dollars? Half a million? Thoughts?
The odds of uh., I don't know probably never? Seriously man market cap of 21 trillion dollars. Well for that happening just in case you need to wait for a few more decades.
And just in case, just if bitcoin capital crosses that of fiat and gold, the whole world economy may collapse financially. So its very much unlikely for such a thing to happen, too bad.
1038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 02, 2017, 04:38:29 PM
No way will I do, for heaven sake put some logic in your brain. Even experienced traders don't do that because they know what the consequences are when you depend on one thing only. And if the price drops and you are in a emergency what will happen then? Just because bitcoin is worth 4k $ and is decentralized and unique and stuff like that, you don't put your entire money in it . Also one should only put his money in something if and only if, he doesn't require that money on a short term basis.
1039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: October 02, 2017, 03:34:21 PM

Well when you know the price is doing to drop and it's time for dump, you have to make an assumption. You will sell when you get a very less or no loss and invest in something else. Cause no one likes losses or has patience to wait for the prices to go up again when all coins is of concern. But in bitcoin, you know that the price is going to go back up again and that's when you realize that it would be better to reinvest. This is how experienced and smart people basically react in short.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: October 02, 2017, 12:51:23 PM
Offline wallets have a very less possibility of getting hacked and you will be the owner of your private keys. Whereas its not the same case for that of online wallets, you do not have access to your own private keys in most of the online wallets. Online wallets are easy to use and has ease of mobility. I mostly use online wallets for regular transactions and offline wallets for holding for long term.
