1041  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has gone beyond gold prices on: October 01, 2017, 08:58:51 PM
A splendid record broken by bitcoin, maybe this will open people's eyes who don't use bitcoin and accuse utter bull shit about bitcoin. For some reason I am not a very big fan of gold and I choose bitcoin any day compared to gold.  People buy gold to show off most of the time and I feel that gold is overrated. Whereas it's not the same case when it comes to bitcoin and bitcoin can give me more profit than gold I believe.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: October 01, 2017, 05:13:01 PM
Bitcoin price has outperformed every reserve and fiat currency across the world year to date, yet again. By outperforming the US dollar by over 30 percent, Bitcoin surpassed the growth of the Mexican Peso, Silver, Gold and Russian Ruble to become the best performing currency so far in 2017.

Thus far, 2017 has been a successful year for both Bitcoin investors and alternative cryptocurrency (altcoin) traders, with leading altcoins or crypto assets such as Ethereum achieving a $5 bln market cap in early April. The Bitcoin market, however, experienced some major changes in its ecosystem earlier this year. The major driving force of Bitcoin price in 2017 is suspected to be the resolution of the Bitcoin network’s current scalability problems.

The Bitcoin network’s one MB cap on block size is causing Blockchain congestion, a drastic increase in fees at times and long confirmation times. If Bitcoin scalability issues are addressed within this year, with innovative solutions such as Bitcoin Core’s Segregated Witness (SegWit), Andrew Lee’s Extension Blocks or other potential emerging solutions, Bitcoin price will most likely demonstrate an exponential mid and long-term increase.

Would you invest in BTC this year?
After the price of bitcoin increased by at least 4 times earlier this year, investors, governments, centralized organizations, celebrities and many more started to do research on bitcoin and a few even started using them, investing in them and this has made a big difference on people's view on bitcoin and crypto currency to be honest. Few months ago if you mention bitcoin to some people they will just be negative about it and taunt it.  But if you mention it now, they will be all like, "OH, bitcoin " and will act surprised and interested because they don't know shit about it and only react just because they know the price is damn high.
1043  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: October 01, 2017, 03:31:40 PM
Here is a tutorial for dummies about doubling our money and not Bitcoins with scam scripts, remember no one has your best interest in heart to help you double your coins, however there is this thing we call it Bitcoin and indeed you can effectively double your fiat money with it.

But how?

-Simple, whatever you have buy Bitcoin(s) and deposit them in never before used addresses and forget about them for literally 6 long months/half a year.

-Tip: don't pay any attention to news and don't participate in crypto related forums and social medias, it will drive you crazy.

-Result: after 6 months and after your phone alarm went off since you set it to ring in calendar for exactly 180 days, open your browser and go to one of the reputable exchanges and look at the market price, if your fiat money wasn't doubled if you were to sell your Bitcoins then find me and kick my ass for bad advice. :?

Please refer to the Bitcoin price and charts to see if the price did or did not doubled every 6 months.

I can't find anything remotely similar to this can you? and if so please share with us.

Edit:
Disclaimer:
This post was intended as a quick suggestion to double your fiat money and not your Bitcoin, any body telling and promising to increase the amount of your Bitcoin is either misleading you or tries to scam you, even legit interest paying companies have their own high risk of loss.

Only idiots gamble in hopes of earning money or double their money.

Trading, best option you can opt for and get a good return on investment. But it's risky and you might get some losses, but that doesn't mean you will always get losses, you have got to be smart and make a due diligence of your own every time you put your money in trading or ICOs or wherever. That's one of the basic rules that you need to follow during the whole time you trade.
1044  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: September 30, 2017, 08:52:51 PM
Poor people and small businesses rely on cash. A contactless system will likely entrench poverty and pave the way for terrifying levels of surveillance

Discussion
Some people are scared of using the technology because they believe in traditional methods than in scientifical/technological methods.  Some people are scared of getting scammed and some people are scared of this and that.  Eugh, common people are you gonna be scared of anything and everythin? Man up a little. Just because there is a massive chance for cashless society to be implemented all over the world in the future, you are going to be afraid of it? I do understand most of people don't like change, but accept the fact that world doesn't move around under your fingers and like it or not the world is getting dynamic. Technology is conquering the whole world fills with new innovations.
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: September 30, 2017, 08:00:28 PM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency
Lame crap man to be honest. I would term it volatile instead of unstable, first. USD is not the world currency, its the currency for the US nation.People compare everything with US$ because America is considered to be one of the strongest and powerful nation in most aspects.
Whereas bitcoin is not specifically developed for a particular nation or something, its developed for transactions taking place worldwide without any intermediate. Know the difference first.
And before you compare with bitcoin and USD on the basis of volatility and stability, look at the price of bitcoin and look at the price of USD.
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 30, 2017, 06:22:52 PM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
Duh,I don't haven't done such things that I have to regret for.  Yes,I incurred some losses ,so what , I learnt something back from what and also  I have earned way more than what I have lost,so why have to regret it for your rest of your life. Yes,I didnt buy bitcoin when its value was less,I instead of whining and regretting about it,have moved on and I am happy with what I have.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: September 29, 2017, 12:08:10 PM
As the age of cryptocurrency comes into full force, it will facilitate a subversively viable taxation avoidance strategy for many of the technically savvy users of peer-to-peer payment systems. In doing so, cryptocurrency use will act to erode the tax revenue base of national jurisdictions, and ultimately, reposition taxation as a voluntary, pay-for-performance function. In this post, I cover some of the benefits such a strategy will have for cryptocurrency investors, why our notion of taxation is ripe for disruption, and why cryptocurrency taxation is enabled by default.

Income tax is one of the best sources of revenue for any government ,so if most people start using crytpo currency what the government might do is that they will try to ban exchanges and crypto sites and make sure they are regulated and the exchanges instead might, might have to pay taxes on the transactions. I am not sure what exactly governments can do but they will do something or the other ,which will be in their powers.

1048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: September 29, 2017, 10:14:12 AM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

It actually depends on which alt I am investing in,if I feel that I will get return on my investment I will wait, else I will sell it. And if I get a big loss,I will make a report of how i got a loss, and then I will make sure that I won't repeat the same mistake yet again and maybe i will keep ready a pros and cons list of the next alt I invest in.
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: September 29, 2017, 07:49:50 AM
Is it worth spending time to collect Bitcoin rather than having a daily job? What I mean is that can bitcoin be more economical?

You cannot say exactly, here is where the volatility factor comes in . You can spend your extra time on bitcoin after you finish your daily job. But If you only have to focus on bitcoin, it will then depend on how good your dedication level is, your effort ,time spent, hardwork etc.

Has it ever happened that people lose their investment value rather than benefit from spending it on bitcoin?
Yea it has occurred to a lot of people, who were spending their bitcoin and not saving it or reinvesting it. If you are doing to go for bitcoin I would suggest you to go for trading ,but only if you are not afraid of losing your investment value because sometimes you can get losses also, so take a risk or leave it right there.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2017, 10:07:11 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
Well,I dont think so,even if there is I haven't heard of any! There are bitcoin ATMs though. Banks won't accept bitcoin because they are centralized ,regulated by the central bank of each country, and if the banks accept bitcoin their regulation of proof of source will get violated, so they won't. Interesting thing is banks and governments are interested in block chain technology and not in bitcoin,so that they can have a crypto currency of their own with their regulations on it and also using blockchain technology at the same time.
1051  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: September 28, 2017, 08:49:50 PM
What do you think? China banned BTC? And btc price goes to 4,069$ today Smiley
You think to sell or it can rise up again, some rumors said that btc will fall down to 2000$
China banning ICOs and closing bitcoin exchanges doesn't change anything ,yes the prices will crash more than you know in the future but that's healthy for bitcoin, because if the price continues to increase ,everyone will only use bitcoin and governments will do something or the other to stop people from using it ,and also crashes help investors to reinvest again.
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: September 28, 2017, 08:16:48 PM
We know that Bittrex and Poloniex are the most sought after exchangers.
But I want to know which one is best to trade? and I want to know why.
Thanks.  Wink
Bittrex any day when it comes to trading ,the design of the website ,the user -friendly interface , and not to mention bittrex adds more coins than poloniex I believe ,its less compared to other exchanges but greater than poloniex for what I have heard. The regulations of poloniex also makes users go away from the exchange and they go straight to bittrex.
1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: September 28, 2017, 04:37:18 PM
Bitcoin growth again, for two days it's turn back his position 3960$ and continue to grow!
Should I go to bank and buy bitcoins?
Now is not the time to buy, since the price is increasing you won't get much of a profit. You should have bought when the price was low earlier this month. Save the money now and buy when the price goes down,so that you will get a good profit. Bitcoin will continue to grow now and there most probably shouldn't be FUDs ruining the market.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: September 28, 2017, 03:15:15 PM

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
No way, China can't do shit to bitcoin they can avoid it but they cannot stop bitcoin or make sure that people don't use it, but such a thing ain't likely to happen.  Bitcoin is gonna last for long and you can't do anything against it . Chinese traders will do something or the other for crytpo currency trading, maybe contact people from other countries and hire them for doing trading on their behalf.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is being accepted as method of payment by more and more businesses on: September 28, 2017, 02:43:01 PM
Maybe they should ,maybe not .Purchases are sometimes better when you make them using fiat, agreed you have to pay taxes, but I will hold bitcoin rather than making a purchase with it,because of the profitability ratio. On the other i would accept bitcoin for payments.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2017, 08:36:06 PM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

One of the key aspects that I love, It recovers soon, few weeks ago the price was 2980$,and now it is 4200$ . Such a nature makes me wonder and amazes me.  Thanks to bitcoin 's volatility the price has increased four times within this year, I am waiting to see how much the price will be after a few years.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin for 2018 that is very cheap now? on: September 27, 2017, 06:18:21 PM
In your personal opinion, what's the cheapest coin or token with the best fundamentals to hold in 2018?

cheers!
Well, from what I have heard,a few coins like CVC,XEM ,DOGE,NEO and LMC etc  have potential of higher profitability levels and in 2018 they will be considered in means of trading. These coins look promising and there is more demand on these when compared to others I believe. So this should be the coins that you should keep in your wallet and hodl until you get a good profit.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: September 27, 2017, 04:48:54 PM
As an investor I have been using bitcoin now and I have got some profits and losses, no regrets because every time I only learned new things. I also learnt from different people's experiences and those learnings have saved me from doing  stupid quite some times. Black market users use bitcoin because of the fact that it will be easier for them to use any day than using normal fiat.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: September 27, 2017, 03:48:50 PM
ICO regulation is good because the ICOs that are just being created for  scamming innocent people and maybe, just maybe the scam be avoided from happening in the first place. A lot of ICOs raise a lot of money and if they scam people then a lot of countries will lose potential capital, which most of the countries are afraid to lose.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: September 27, 2017, 02:08:41 PM
Doge coin is promising and is one of the very few most popular and preffered alt coins by people  and its future shouldn't be of much concern, because if something happens to bitcoin, then there might be issues other wise there probably shouldn't be,at least in the near future.
