1181  Other / Off-topic / Re: My Story about my life and Bitcoin (ends badly) on: August 21, 2017, 05:08:33 PM
Hello fellow cryptomaniacs,

I'm just gonna write a story because I'm stuck and need help.

1 year ago when Bitcoin was trading at 600$ I was looking for online tasks and other stupid things that make you earn hardly 1$ a day.
When I noticed websites that paid in Bitcoin I deciced to do this and later exchange it for "real money".
I thought Bitcoin was like PayPal with an unofficial currency called Bitcoin. But when I decided to look up what Bitcoin actually was I found that I could "generate" Bitcoin. So I tried doing that with my tablet (LOL!!). When I looked up more about it I found out about it's technology and decentralization and got obsessed (At least I realised it instead of being stubborn and be like "nah, Bitcoin is scam. It's not real money"). At the time I was 18 years old and decided to talk about it with my parents to get some money from my own bank account for Bitcoin trading. But my parents blocked my bank account for preventing me doing stupid things with it.
When I tried to convince them and explain them what all of this is about they say it's not "real money" and that it is a "criminal underground world". I know people do drugs with Bitcoin but so do people with FIAT "the real not scam money #sarcasm" so maybe we should get rid of that first right? So I got really annoyed and tried to get a job but I don't have a graduate yet so I was really fucking stuck.
I went to a judge several times to talk about this but he is a close minded idiot as well. finally one year later when I was 19 and Bitcoin was trading at around 3000$ I got a chance with 1000$ to invest. I also wanted to move out of the dictators house before going to school again. I know a lot of trading and I tried it with 10$ back when Bitcoin was trading at 600$ and I was really good with it. So finally 1 year later and after many delays (and yes even the bank was trying to stop me) I started trading and all went really well for a couple of days.
But because 1000$ is not enough money to have enough profit to make a living of it so I can live alone and be free I started to get frustrated because my realistic goals of profit didn't get me enough profit to live on myself.

So I got frustrated and started to take too much risks and didn't follow my own plans and now I lost half of money because of this.
As long as my parents don't give me enough money to trade with it is impossible to have realistic goals and a reliable income.
I started trading around august 1 which also is a bad time because Bitcoin was rising and altcoins keeps falling (BTC price).

So I got into emo trading now. I cannot trade without emotions if I don't have enough money to have realistic goals. I was under too much pressure.

I need more but how? Can't talk with parents since everything will be my "my fault". A lot of frustration and anger had built up past year.

Thanks for reading. Hopefully I won't get too much of "it's your own fault you idiot" and "you are a bad trader" comments
Dude listen up, go for signature campaign, it will help you recover your lost money (in like a year or even less depending on how much you have lost since you're only a member and members arent paid much) but you can do other things like blogging and writing articles, but be careful you already have lost a lot of money and also just so you know it's not your fault, I have seen worse parents than this, so keep your spirit high, nothing will happen to you just act smartly and not in a hurry. Take care and I wish you good luck for the future.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Online Gaming Currency on: August 21, 2017, 01:42:08 PM
For online gamers and at the same time bitcoiners, don't you think it's fun if online games will adapt bitcoin as their currencies?

MMORPG will be much fun if bitcoin will be used to purchase items/gears you're longing to acquire.

Selling items you have exerted effort to farm and you will receive btc as payment is quite exciting.

I'm referring to direct trading in the market of any MMORPG using BTC.

Just a thought though :-)
I dont think that you will be needing to use bitcoin for buying or selling anything in a game.Either use fiat or there are some ICOs that are created especially for gaming which also will help you out. But i would suggest you to use fiat only for your gaming purposes because people think that if you use crypto-currency "you are doing nothing but illegal stuff" ,but thats only one point  basically the ICOs can spam you depends on which one you go for.
1183  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: August 20, 2017, 06:28:01 PM

Honestly I believe bitcoin is better since one you don't use your credit card so you don't loose you needed cash but instead your cash that you could easily earn back from mining. Plus, it's open to all ages unlike credit cards.

Of course they are better on one hand. But not using credit card makes some dumb head think that he/she is doing some illegeal bullshit. Also its better that credit cards  have age limit, otherwise some rich dumbheads will make their parents bankrupt in a fortnight. Bitcoin is complicated for lazy people who are rich,so they say that its this and that and blah and blah.. But i'll probably use credit card for my day-to-day expense and keep bitcoin for later use.
1184  Economy / Economics / Re: central banks and Bitcoin on: August 20, 2017, 04:26:29 PM
Hey,
I am right now a little bit researching about financial stability and monetary policy.
It seems that monetary policy through a central bank is pretty important for the global financial stability.
For example if there is a financial crisis, central banks try activly to stabilize the financial system.
If Bitcoin would replace fiat money and such a crisis would occur, wouldnt this lead to long term financial instability?
If bitcoin replaces fiat do you think that the government of that country would keep their hands tied and won't interfere in the financial transaction taking place? And how do you think a country will get its funds from, since banks are the financial backbones of any country? There will exist a government organisation which would be centralized one,and it will control the transactions/ regulate any rule introduced for financial   transactions.Don't worry about that, but bitcoin will not replace fiat unless and until some sort of a big miracle takes place,so good luck with all your theories on bitcoin.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin value ever be overpowered by other Cryptos? on: August 20, 2017, 02:16:38 PM
When I hear other Crypto organizers saying things like "Our coins will overtake bitcoin" it makes me start wondering how possible that could be comparing the popularity rate of BITCOINS, years, market cap. and value bitcoin holds. So I ask, will bitcoin value ever be overpowered by other Cryptos?
Quite possible, there are people who hate bitcoin and there are people who love bitcoin. So these kind of people will choose another crypto-currency to crypto either because they hate bitcoin and tired of it/ because a better crytpo-currency than bitcoin is actually created,so they prefer that so and so crypto than bitcoin.
1186  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: August 20, 2017, 12:07:39 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?
I really don't think so.How many people do you think would know what bitcoin is if it weren't for the volatility of bitcoin ? Maybe some people will prefer it because of its other features. Most people in this forum are using bitcoin not because they think it has an amazing future or here to contribute to the field of crypto-currency but they see this forum as a means of income in the form of bitcoin and  hence they are here for it.
1187  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: August 19, 2017, 06:21:21 PM

So what it is difference between bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?
Bitcoin is the first crypto-currency and other cryptos quicky followed it. Bitcoin's price is damn high when compared to other cryptos. Alt coins have a bigger percentage of leading you to loss when compared to bitcoin.
Quote
why Bitcoin has become powerful among other currencies and cryptocurrencies  ?
Because of the fact that bitcoin has so many advantages that terrorists, hackers use it for their own good.Even normal people use it for their profits. So all these reasons led to Bitcoin becoming one of the strongest currencies of all time.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: August 19, 2017, 04:35:30 PM

I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?

It all depends on a few factors i.e.:- I would gamble for fun along with profit. If i can have fun and earn more money why not give it a try? I am already rich, and if i gamble i will get some more money or will lose some money.Rich people do have to take risks all the time. Bill Gates aka the Richest man in the world didnt stop earning after he became the richest man in the world,so why would i stop earning money?
1189  Economy / Exchanges / Re: REAL or FAKE bitcoin exchanger company on: August 19, 2017, 03:20:52 PM

what is the difference between real or fake bitcoin company? how can we conclude that A company is fake and B company is the real one Shocked Grin

What exactly do you mean? A company that accepts and receives payments through bitcoin?  Its the company that is the issue here and you have to find out whether or not the company is fake or real,if you are going to have some sort of deal with the so called company. By finding out i mean that you have to do research, talk to a few trust worthy people, get to know about the company and then do whatever necessary. Also ,please do improve your interrogating skills, because your question leads to a lot of different meanings,so its hard to understand and assume what exactly you are trying to say.
1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: August 19, 2017, 11:53:58 AM

The question is simple; Why should people invest on bitcoin?
State your reasons, and advantages of investing on bitcoins today.
I know there are a lot of newcomers that are coming into the bitcoin community everyday.
I want us discuss it here, so that we may help them understand what is bitcoin and how important its to invest on bitcoin.
Share your ideas, and thoughts below.

People invest in bitcoin because of the price mechanism that is the volatility of bitcoin can make a person rich overnight or bring the same person to streets(not necessarily happens everytime but is possible),but it depends on the amount of money investment. Investment is always a risky thing and i personally am not a big fan of it,but with luck ,proper wisdom time and obviously some money, you have an amazing chance to get rich.
1191  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: August 18, 2017, 12:45:44 PM
Recently, i often see discussion about Bitcoin Bank. More and more people come here and ask about bitcoin bank & surprisingly i see few user agree with this idea.
So, i would like to find out the percentage of user who agreed with this idea.

Honestly, i think this idea is stupid and worst idea that i've seen in my life. What do you think?
p.s. we don't talk about bitcoin debit card OR any centralized service which only ask name and email address.
Wasn't removing banks from the world one of the reasons for people to use bitcoin in the first place? C'mon like even if one bitcoin bank is introduced people will go crazy. Also the percentage of any country accepting to build a bitcoin bank is near to 0. Because how will the country get income? From rent? Banks are meant to be financial backbones of a country and how will bitcoin bank help any country because bitcoin itself is decentralized. So just like you even i think that a bitcoin bank would be a stupid idea,we already have so many online exchanges.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: August 18, 2017, 11:56:27 AM
Bitcoin’s very volatile prices have reignited the debate about its usefulness as a currency or as an asset. In some ways, Bitcoin suits the definition of currency quite adequately but if the volatility is less. It allows for the creation of secure and transparent transactions. Thus, can be used as a secondary currency in future. Some of the experts have huge concerns over its volatility. But, sooner or later the prices may remain less volatile as of today.

I have mentioned few points about Bitcoin as a currency or as an asset in my article here: https://atozforex.com/news/is-bitcoin-a-currency-or-asset/

What's your opinion about BTC as a currency or an asset?

Suggestions and comments appreciated  Smiley Wink
Bitcoin is a crypto currency but most of the people who own bitcoin like to use it as a personal asset for the future aka savings. But if people want to use it as a currency for managing their expenses no one is stopping them. But i use it as an asset and sometimes make investments. Lets see where the volatility of bitcoin leads us to.
1193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: looking for a serious way to earn 1-2btc on: August 17, 2017, 10:08:30 PM
im looking for a serious way to earn 1-2btc.
Any ideas?

thx Smiley
Since you have plenty of time and less skills you can go for signature campaign in this forum.  But if you want to earn more then I would suggest you to take a free course online, for example www.khanacademy.org is an online website for courses which offer amazing  content. I have heard a lot about it, if you want you can go for it. Then you can offer various services and earn money.
1194  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market vs. Bitcoin??? on: August 17, 2017, 06:02:43 PM
Hi traders!
Does somebody here do trading in stock market and also trading in bitcoin? Which is more profitable and safe?
Thanks ahead!
I would go for trading in bitcoin any day than trading stock market. I have seen experts trade in stock market which i find very appealing and interesting but then the expert advised me not to go for stock market just like that. Its so complicated and is not everyone's cup of tea is what he told. But when i asked why,he told that Stock market is full of assumptions,if one person wants to sell one share, there will be another available to buy most of the time. But anyhow i am still learning about stock market because i find it fascinating,so till then gonna trade with bitcoin. But that doesn't mean that i'll let go of bitcoin when i become an expert in stock market investment. Ill hold on to both of them and i guess it will be useful for me in the future.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: August 17, 2017, 05:02:39 PM
I won't give out any big spoilers but be warned if you haven't seen the leaked episode yet...

While it was certainly full of fan service moments and action it was one of the most poorly written and embarrassing of the series in my opinion. The teleportation issues are going full retard, it's getting so ridiculous I'm laughing out loud lately. This one in particular is the worst, similar distances were covered in almost a full season earlier and now they are 12-24 hours away and happen on a single episode lol!

The ending was definitely an iconic moment to be remembered, it was expected after the outcome of the battle but it was still pretty cool.

I know right, the episode was amazing but logic was that of a kid. Like how do you get huge chains in a place that is covered with nothing but ice? Are you telling me you can make long chains using ice ,so no use of steel now. And like you said the teleportation was screwed up as well. But at the end of the day you got to see an action packed episode of Game of Thrones which most the fans have been asking for years.
->So in episode 7 of  season 7 get hyped people ,for the wall is going down and worse!
->And hold on to your horses for you are going to see blue flames burning some serious shit down for the very first time.
->And most probably there is going to be worse thing than Jaime-Cersei incest ,but it would unknown so rather not judge it.
Finally,RIP Viserion, the most merciful dragon amongst all the 3 dragon children of Daenerys Targaryen.
1196  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: August 17, 2017, 04:02:49 PM
Asked before I'm sure.

What ya think?
I dont know what you mean  by final bitcoin like there will be no end, bitcoin will exist forever it just would become insufficient for people one day some how.I guess the price would go up to 1 million dollars/bitcoin maximum.Maybe it will not go up to 1 million also ,one of the possibilities are some other crypto currency will overthrow it.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: August 17, 2017, 03:21:37 PM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Don't worry mate, bitcoin is secure ,but what gives way to the hackers is a person's stupidity.  Bitcoin has been designed in such a way that hackers cannot hack it just like that.  Since your friends are asking whether or not their crypto currency will be secure or not, tell them to have some knowledge on bitcoin before they get into using bitcoin.
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 17, 2017, 12:34:54 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.
No I didn't, if I had known even I would have regretted it.  Also it would be really hard for me to believe at that point of my life because I  would be immature and stupid enough to take decisions and would have asked my parents whether or not it's trust worthy and their answer would have been definitely no. So glad that I discovered about bitcoin a few years later.
1199  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: August 16, 2017, 07:32:30 PM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.
It has crossed the price of gold not the value, by value  I mean that with the amount of gold out there and the amount of bitcoin out there ,gold clearly is the winner . Not only that gold is there for thousands of years and bitcoin is there for merely 8 years (it's an amazing record set by beating gold 's price  indeed BTW) ,so people won't abandon their ancestral traditions easily.
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: August 16, 2017, 03:52:35 PM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...
I feel so sorry for you,you are so very excited to spend your bitcoin,so now you are calling up local stores in your country and interrogating them about bitcoin, and the answer as expected was very poor, bitcoin even after touching 4400$ is not known by most people. But i guess they will get to know in less than a decade, not everybody but most of them. So just hold to your excitement till then.
