2021  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Local Bitcoin stopped service! on: March 02, 2023, 09:20:49 PM
You can see some alternatives here List of P2P/no-KYC exchanges
They announced their closure for several days, and almost everyone tried to find out the reason, but it is a perfect end to a platform that was part of the early days of Bitcoin. You will find some alternatives, and I hope they are as good as they are.

Bitcointalk currency exchange is also a good alternative place>
2022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: investment advice? on: March 02, 2023, 09:02:35 PM
I don't know where to invest. Should I put it in Trust Wallet or Binance? Hoping for advice from everyone on where it should be placed? There will be no possibility of hacking. please help and advice?
There is no difference between them, and on the contrary, you put it in a place where it can be hacked.
Any open source wallet is a good option, in the forums electrum is often recommended for your desktop and Samurai Wallet for your Android phone.
Then, make sure that the operating system is clean and does not contain viruses, do not randomly click on links or randomly download files, especially from torrents (paid applications for free or cracked.)

As for investment, do not invest in something you do not understand, learn about bitcoin and invest in the long term.
The best investment strategy is to buy fixed amounts of bitcoin every period, for example, a week, and keep it for several years.
2023  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Bookstore on: March 02, 2023, 08:48:36 PM
I understand that there are copyrights, but if you modified Sort by to have a section for free books or that you can download for free, it would be a great option, and some of us may not have the option to pay via Amazon, so if there is a way to pay with bitcoins and you buy them or gift cards, everything will be perfect.

As a design and options that are available, the site is beautiful, I hope to add more languages.

2025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you share some of your insights from working with brokers on: March 01, 2023, 06:02:39 PM
In Bitcoin, you do not need a broker to conduct trading, and therefore the person can go directly to the cryptocurrency platform and place orders to buy and sell, so the role of broker is if there are no platforms in your country or derivatives trading (you need a license and it is high risk)

Thus, the only thing left for you is to be a crypto broker for a service that does not exist, as you can work by creating a topic here or through peer-to-peer platforms like Binance P2P, BSIQ, HODLHODL.
2026  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase to Suspend Binance USD (BUSD) Trading on: March 01, 2023, 05:55:18 PM
Binance itself began to rely more on USDC and USDT, and therefore the end result is that more and more companies will not think in the short term to create new stableCOINs.
ALL stablecoins Marketcap will be limited to one or two coins.
the question remains: if an estimated percentage of the reserves was in BUSD form, can they fulfill their commitment and give a dollar to everyone who wants to exchange it? Who will bear the losses?

Binance must stop expanding until they completely finished removing BUSD effects.

https://www.pymnts.com/cryptocurrency/2023/investors-withdraw-6b-from-binance-coin-amid-crypto-crackdown/

2028  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Disrupting our Financial Landscape? on: February 26, 2023, 02:57:17 PM
The problem lies in how to buy bitcoin in those countries, there is a difference between that these countries do not have a banking system and that in these countries there are economic systems that are not recognized and here lies the problem.
Bitcoin is a good tool for transfers between these countries and preserving the monetary value of money.

2030  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's highest amount instant exchanges can be trusted with? on: February 26, 2023, 01:22:08 PM
As a test: try to exchange 0.1 LTC from your wallet into Bitcoin in your wallet, and see which exchange gets you the most. Many "classic" exchanges won't even let you withdraw the Bitcoin because it's under their minimum amount to withdraw.
For large amounts, instant exchanges are usually more expensive than "classic" exchanges.

based on this https://withdrawalfees.com/coins/bitcoin some "classic" exchanges are better
  • OKX: You can withdraw any amount (there is no minimum) and the withdrawal fee is $0.93
  • Kraken: You can withdraw an amount higher than $11.62 and the withdrawal fee is $0.23

  • if the amount is above $12 and you don't have a problem with KYC, it's hard to find a withdrawal fee cheaper than $0.23.

  • if you don't want to verify identity, a withdrawal fee of $0.93 is good for any amount over $2, which I think most instant exchanges allow lower than $2.

2031  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BTC deep continues for the next SIX Months. on: February 25, 2023, 03:02:05 PM
It is the strangest way to analyze what will happen in the coming months, and it is probably based on mere baseless speculation.
Quote
BBC market news shows that the number of people trading bitcoin in 2020-2023 has drastically reduced compared to 2013-2015 figures
It does not matter the number of people, but the volume of trading, how much money these people will invest.
It is true that no one expects crazy increases during the coming months, but there is no confirmation because the worst is still possible or greater declines than before.

After the site successfully scams a victim, it'll definitely get reported, which would alert other users not to negotiate with any person, persons, or organizations that share with them the same site.
Do you need to burn with fire to know that fire is harmful to you? You do not need to be scammed to know that this site is scam.
Such sites may have a defect, which is that they give a false sense of security, and they can be developed to be integrated into the MetaMask wallet or as an add to Chrome with some tips.

I hope they have enough resources to update the list every hour
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How is DeFI exactly Decentralized ? on: February 25, 2023, 02:39:20 PM
Centralization means that there is one central authority or a group of authorities that control your funds and thus freeze or delete them.
Decentralization means that there is no single authority that can do this, and to achieve this, it requires many parties to meet on something that may not happen, for example, in Bitcoin, the longest chain (more than 51%) can make changes in many things, but it is difficult for one central party or several central parties to do so.

In DeFi, if they are based on the same blockchain, they are managed by a smart contract, and if the currency is decentralized, the platform can be decentralized.

As for the exchanges between several blockchains, they are centralized at some point.
2034  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any NON-KYC method to buy stocks using bitcoin? on: February 25, 2023, 02:02:29 PM
I found this on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/11asnbn/how_safe_is_this_lofttrade_lightning_app/
https://loft.trade/ site claim that you can invest in stocks without paying commission.

They also have the ability to pay with the Lightning Network.
Disclaimer: I did not use this site and do not recommend it, do your own research before you consider any deposit or data submission.
2035  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet company and seed phrase question on: February 25, 2023, 01:39:27 PM
However, could this be an attack vector? AKA a government shuts down all the companies?  Confiscates/corrupts all the software?
Manufacturers of hardware wallets assume that the device generates private keys in a secure way that is not connected and will not connected to the Internet. They also use a standard to generate seeds. These standards are not tied to a specific vendor, so you can import the private key using any other wallet, or even ask a programmer to write a wallet compatible with that standard.

If the hardware wallet uses their own standard or there is no way to know how to generate the private key, then there is no difference between them and closed source wallets, and therefore your money is at risk and it is better to avoid them.

This applies to some altcoins that do not have an active developing.
for those altcoins keeping in in HW or CEX is the same.
2036  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning CrownChange.net is likely scam. Fake bestchange partnership on: February 25, 2023, 01:22:32 PM
Great service, fast payment, support will always help. I recommend this exchanger for exchanging https://crownchange.net//ru/exchange-pmusd-to-xrp/
This is a stupid attempt on your part to polish this scam platform, a newbie account without any posts and suddenly he wants us to believe that what he is trying to say is true.

It seems that you are too stupid to come up with creative ways, so no one will believe you and you add more proof that the platform is scam.
2037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is there so much resistance for Bitcoin reaching $25,000 on: February 25, 2023, 01:17:58 PM
Because it is difficult to break two resistance levels in a short period, do not forget that a few weeks ago we were at a historical resistance level at 19k, and before that the price was in the range of 17k, so we broke the resistance level at 19k and at 21K and therefore it is difficult to break the second level .

The good news is that the closer we get to it, the easier it will be to break it. Therefore, it is relatively easy to break the 25k, but it is difficult to break the 28k, and so on.

2038  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: ‏عملة ‎BUSD تنخفض ل2سنتاً on: February 25, 2023, 12:59:43 PM

2039  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: ‏عملة ‎BUSD تنخفض ل2سنتاً on: February 24, 2023, 04:56:33 PM

2040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: People mindset in Bitcoin on: February 24, 2023, 04:31:22 PM
Wealth and poverty belong to the individual, the way he saves it and deals with money, even if he has more than 100,000 bitcoins, he will be poor within several years, no matter how high the bitcoin price is, if he does not modify his way of thinking and how he deals with liabilities and investing in assets, or moving away from extravagance in lusts.

Therefore, Bitcoin is not the solution to be rich, but it will help you get rich, especially if you are from a country where a million dollars is considered obscene wealth.
