1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys trading today? on: January 25, 2021, 08:22:08 AM
Bitcoin (BTC) continues to be stagnant at $32k giving time for some alts to recover at a certain level where they can compete like Polkadot (DOT) and Chainlink (LINK). Ethereum (ETH) still on its streak of going up maybe going after an all new ATH. But the real competition starts with top 4 to 10 giving them more chance to gain resistance at this stagnant market. What are you guys trading today?  Huh
I dont' trade anymore, I invest. There are so many great microcap buying opportunities right now, it's easy to 5 or 10x in a week. I've been buying:

UTNP
UNCX
0xMR
CVP
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: January 25, 2021, 08:21:02 AM
In now days too much Altcoin Project are Launching one by one and all of them claim that invest in his project because we will be successful in upcoming days but in the end they run away and make a scam. They don't woory about people fund and stole them.
So how we can trust on altcoin to give us profit after investment. Because most of them become Scam and Scam. All of them has one Aim how to stole too much fund .
So how we make altcoin investment safe ?
If you invest in any project where the developers control the supply it could possibly be a scam. If the devs raised funds from the public I would argue there is a 50% chance of it being a scam or greater. I'm only investing in mineable projects right now, namely RVN and 0xMR. Their regulatory compliant and the devs can't exit scam, dump on you, or rug-pull.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm back and ready for action :) on: January 25, 2021, 08:19:23 AM
Hello, I've been away for a few years and now I'm looking at the alt coin market...
You're supposed to buy low, sell high. You already missed some great gains. I suggest you look into projects that haven't mooned yet and microcaps like 0xMR and EC.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you do mining or staking? on: January 25, 2021, 08:18:20 AM
there is many staking or mining coins.
staking coin like Tron or Vechain
or software mining coin like Pie or Pando

i do software mining with pie and pando both but
i have Tron and Vechain more than them.
but i stock them in exchange. because it is not easy to respond quickly.
and.. Pie or Pando, i just gathering through app or browser. i just keep it still.
but i don't know whether it can be big money or not.
Pando was listed on Bittrex but Pie is not yet.(i think Pie have no plan to register on exchange)

i just want to hear your investing strategy with staking or software mining,
You can easily mine 0xMonero on any older model GPU, even if it only has 2GB of RAM. You can stake 0xMR LP tokens from Uniswap on Unicrypt.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: January 25, 2021, 08:17:17 AM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?

1606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: January 25, 2021, 08:16:21 AM
Currently, if you want to buy any altcoin, it is very difficult. You can't choose an option quite easily. Also, the crypto market is currently volatile. In such circumstances if one wants to buy altcoin. So what should be the main focus?
My main focus when buying alts is legality. We can see the SEC cracking down on cryptocurrency projects like Ripple and they have a history of destroying other projects. If you have invested in a cryptocurrency that:

raised funds from the public

the devs control the supply

is managed by a company or foundation

Your investment is at risk and could possibly go to 0. I'm only buying mineable cryptos right now where the devs don't control token issuance (RVN and 0xMR for example).
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should we invest for these type of projects? on: January 25, 2021, 08:12:50 AM
I found a project , they are building a Secure  platform for Consumers & Merchants ? [platform
to buy and sell via Crypto ]
and they have clear whitepaper and a intro video about their project , I have seen same kind of project like this before and their ico/pre-sales were successfully completed , what do you think ?  Why do we need to invest for these kind of projects?

Investing in any fundraising event is risky as this is an unregulated market. I'm only buying projects right now that didn't raise funds from the public and where the devs don't control the token supply (RVN and 0xMR). All projects that raised funds, where the devs control the supply, where there is a company or foundation behind it can be sued by the SEC and will likely be shut down.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: January 25, 2021, 08:10:34 AM
What do people think? Is it better to invest, say, 100 dollars in ether or bitcoin?
Neither. If you want to make money in crypto you need to invest in microcaps before they moon, like 0xMR and UNCX.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH where BTC was in early 2017? on: January 25, 2021, 08:09:54 AM
Most development is happening on Ethereum and that's unlikely to change soon.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: January 25, 2021, 08:09:11 AM
You do know that stable coins are supposed to not appreciate in value right? It's in the name. You can make money with stablecoins if you deposit them in DeFi platforms like mSTABLE.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: about DeFi. why would I borrow from defi, if I have to provide a 100% collateral on: January 25, 2021, 08:04:33 AM
People either:

1. Borrow on lending platforms because they think they can find a higher return elsewhere

2. Borrow to receive governance tokens

3. Borrow to play yield farming games to multiply returns

There are uncollateralized or lending platforms with lower collateral in the works, the issue is trust when you borrow without 100% collateral.
1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: January 25, 2021, 08:01:56 AM
Bounty participants often game bounty reward systems, so projects stop honoring bounty claims. The same can be said for airdrops.

There are a lot of scams in this industry, it's an unregulated market and everyone will likely get scammed at some point so diversify and do your research.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ALTSEASON 2021 on: January 21, 2021, 07:58:59 AM
Majots like btc, eth, ltc rallied. There is many coins moving. Altseason started already or not?

https://koinbul.com/

Bitcoin has stalled because investors are moving into alts for higher gains. If you're not buying alts right now you're going to miss the boat. My favorite altcoin picks for 2021 are:

UTNP
UNCX
0xMR
FARM
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden Gems on: January 21, 2021, 07:57:42 AM
My favorite altcoin gems are:

UTNP- Russian IOTA
0xMR- Privacy on Ethereum
UNCX- Any project can enable staking and DeFi on Unicrypt
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BIG questions about polkadot on: January 21, 2021, 07:56:06 AM
I have some BIG questions about polkadot, I hope someone can answer them.

1. The top 10 richest DOT addresses have more then 1/4 of total DOT supply. I don’t call this a decentralised cryptocurrency because of this reason. But who controls them? Can they create a massive dump whenever they please?

2. How can they offer a +10% staking rewards when already 9/10 of total supply is reached? How is that sustainable? Will staking only be available this year? Will they create more coins out of thin air?

Week ago price was $9.36. But now it became $17+ out of nowhere without any project announcement. So my take on DOT is pump and dump kinda coin. A very risky investment for the long terms.
It looks like scammers marked your thread as a scam for pointing out the facts. I would add that it's my understanding that smart contract functionality is not enabled on Polkadot yet. There are dozens of ghost projects raising funds on Polkadot right now making pie in the sky claims of what they intend to do. Watch out!
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help choosing altcoins to invest on: January 19, 2021, 09:19:35 AM
My favorite altcoin picks are 0xMR, UNCX, FARM, UTNP
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum now looks like a complete joke on: January 13, 2021, 06:09:57 AM
It doesn't look like altcoins will pump hard this time around, it's still shocking that many ERC20 tokens under Ethereum are not really appreciating in value even when Ethereum reached 1200$, I have nothing to say than to ask what the heck is going on.

Another issue is the insane gas fee of ethereum, I have been holding ERC20 tokens the most and to even sell right now is killing me inside because it costs over 10$ to move my ERC20 tokens to exchange, I might just have to give up on this heartbreaking Ethereum blockchain
It's going to be difficult for a while until L2 opens up to all ERC20s. Some projects are using token bridges to other blockchains so users can interact with those chains and trade. 0xMR for example is on xDAI Chain, Syscoin, and incognito chain.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin is best? on: January 13, 2021, 06:08:17 AM
Use mSTABLE
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shill me your altcoin. on: January 13, 2021, 06:07:39 AM
I like a lot of projects but my favorite picks for 2021 are:

1. UNCX- allows you to stake any token a project lists and earn rewards.

2. 0xMR- fairly mineable with no premine or dev wallet. Focused on building privacy on Ethereum and integrated with casinos.

3. FARM- highest yields in DeFi with leveraged staking coming in Q1.
1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Partnerships must not be taken slightly on: January 13, 2021, 06:05:02 AM
Partnerships are important but the most important thing is utility. I can't emphasize that enough. Do not invest in projects because of "the tech" or just because it's mineable with a cool new algo. Projects will not succeed unless they have a business use case that generates revenue. That's why I invested in DeFi platforms that generate profit like UNCX and FARM and 0xMR, which is integrated into casinos.
