true enough, you would have to leave your wallet open for a while each week to let the coins stake.  However, you could also just send all your coins to yourself in one batch which would make them stake all at once ( pertty sure anyways), let it stake once and then close it.  The next time it would be 2 stakes, then 4 and so on.... when it gets too high start all over.

But really, the best option is to leave your wallet open all the time, support the network and support nav.

the min stake age is 4 days and the max is unlimited according to the OP.

My understanding of staking amounts is as follows:

- the chance of you staking is based on the number of coins and the age of coins. ( coins in your wallet are not all the same age, so stake at different times )
- the amount of  coins you get when stake a POS blocks is determined by their age (ages gets reset when the coins stake).  Meaning your stake will be greater if the same number of coins staked are older.

so the more people on the network would statistically give you a smaller chance of actual staking a block, but would not affect the amount of coins you stake in that block.

Besides assuring a stable network which don't get me wrong is VERY important, keeping your wallet open 24/7 will not earn you many more coins than if per-say you opened your wallet once week to let your coins stake.  However if you only open it once a month or less often, you would start missing a noticeable amount of compoundable interest.

It's like mortgage payments.... you save good chunk of money to pay your mortgage bi-weekly as opposed to monthly, you save a little bit more if you pay weekly as opposed to bi-weekly.   If you were to make mortgage payments daily as opposed to weekly, the savings would be very minimal.

asics arent my thing, I find it odd that HW errors are normal, but sure.

I would try on other pools to see if you are having the same issue.  If not, I would contact the pool operator to see if they can help.

I have heard issues in the past where certain types of asic units did not work well with certain pools, no clue why, but it does happen.

I thought maybe you had a large asic with a low worker diff and you were submitting too many shares to the pool. I am not familiar with bfgminer output, but it looks like your worker diff is 7230 (seems high for your hashrate, not low), so this can't be the case.

I see a bunch of HW errors, Is that normal for ASIC's ?

HW errors would usually point to miner settings needing a tweak.

Are you having this issue on other pools ?

Thanks for the update, glad to know you are actively working on it.  I definitely don't want to downgrade to the old codebase in order to have POS working again, Hempcoin needs to stand out among the other 1000's of coins out there.

take note of this technique/trick, as you can actually make money off the bots if they are playing the spread.

kudos to whomever just bought half his coins... I was wrong before, it is a bot.  someone put in a fake sell order at 104 (highest buy order was 102 at the time).  the bot removed his sell order at 140 and put it back in at 103 to beat the fake sell order at 104, then the guy who put that sell order in just bought half of the bots coins.

yes it is for sure.  someone is forcing the price lower, don't let him fool you into selling.  you can see his sell order of about 248k hemp, earlier today it was at 175 and he now has it down to 102.

sell if u need too, but just keep in mind this guy is manipulating the price down to get cheap coins.

if he brings it down any further, i wont be able to stop myself from buying it off him.

i feel for you, ive had that happen to me more than once before (on other coins).  best rule is to always compare to the block explorer to be certain the pool is good.

a few more hempcoins should be sitting in your wallet as you read this.

The coins will only exist on the fork, and as far as I know, they are the only ones on that fork.  If you continue on this fork, you will keep those coins, but they wont be the official hempcoins and you wont be able to interact with any other hempcoin wallets outside that fork, ie: exchanges,merchants, your hempcoin friends, etc....  Unfortunately, they are gone and nothing can be done to get them back. 

Other pools may not be finding blocks as often, but the blocks they find will actually pay you out and the payout will be bigger.  Whether the pool has 10 or 100 Mh, you will get the same amount of coins in the long run anyways.

Mining on that pool is a waste and everyone should move to another one.

You could try this one, only 3Mh on it now, but if everyone moves there from your pool, it will be the same.

In the future, when you start seeing issues as you did, it is a good idea to compare the block your pool is on to the block explorer.  If they do not match, the pool has forked and you should stop mining there immediately.

BTW, what is the network hash reported on that pool ?  I am guessing it is the same as the pool hash as the pool seems to be finding every block on that fork.

unfortunately if the pool has forked, then any coins mined since it forked are gone, nothing you can do to get them back.  I think it might have forked earlier in the weekend as someone else said above. 

If the admin is not responding, I suggest mining somewhere else.
