the paper wallet looks awesome !! great work.

Here's a few suggestions to try:

- add a dot between each of the words 'hempcoin' on the left side in white.
- re-arrange the large hempcoin logo so that the 'right side up' hempcoin is visible.
- could try removing the background geometry/scafolding stuff.  it looks a bit 'busy' in the bottom left corner by the logo.

hard to say if my suggestions would help or not, but just some ideas to hopefully get you past the wall.  :-)

no clue why I didn't think of this coin before, it is one of the 4 coins I follow these days.

PS:  hard drive on the server is not completely toast, mobo recognizes it, but it wont boot.  might be a bad superblock, but I keep getting I/O errors when trying to mount it using backup superblocks.  I am nearing an area beyond my skill-set, but I haven't thrown in the towel yet.  Going to plug it into my Windows PC and see if Gparted can grab some stuff off it.  Anyone  know of any other good hard drive/partition repair tools ?

rest assured this will not delay the recovery of the hempfield pool.  I have always wanted to have more than one pool for Hempcoin.  If anything this has encouraged me to get moving on it.

unfortunately, i don't have any good news yet for the pool. :-( I have not had much chance to work on recovering it lately. 

Was quite disappointed to see that it seems the SSD ( brand new, i might add ) for the server seems to have died....sigh.  still going to try and see if I can grab anything off it, ideally I would like to get the MPOS config files as I spent a lot of time on them, as well as get into the DB to see exactly how many coins I owe everyone.  Rest assured, everyone will get their coins.... if I cant get the DB, you will most likely get more than you had. :-)

hate to put a downer on the good news... but felt obliged to send out an update ( or lack there of) on how the pool recovery is going.

if it helps, i can put together a solo-mining tutorial if people would find it useful.

+100  that is a great idea.  Make it completely dummy proof, double click, et voila !! As for increased website traffic, if launching the wallet for the first time, they will download the blockchain manually or automatically either way.  i am sure simple restrictions could be put in place to avoid abuse of this.

Congrats to the whole Dev team for all their hard work over the past months, I hope you can be proud of what you have accomplished even in amongst all the fud and doubters that come here and give you their two cents.

It has been hard keeping up with this thread lately, but doing my best and reading every post.

I agree with minerjoen 100%, we need to raise the level of respect here and change the aura that is emitting from this thread.  Fudder, cheerleader or developer, we are all people and at least deserve a courteous response.  Let's not stoop down to the fuddsters level.  I think a good way to deal with them, cause we all know you can't beat them, is to put the investors minds at ease; getting POD's ( or whatever the best proof rating is nowadays) and getting a third party group to verify the code.  This would put all newcomers to navajocoin at ease as they would  have the assurance that they are getting into the real deal here.   P&D groups are professionals and have enough btc to do what they have been doing, we can only beat them by standing together as a strong and unite4d community.  If they want NAV, make em pay for it.

I think all the cheer-leading that happened since the announcement of the anon beta tests have lured in the wrong type of investors we need as a community.  Anyone who bought coins simply due to the mooning and cheerleading they saw are probably the same people that dumped due to the slightest sign of fear uncertainty and doubt.  We need to stop being so focused on price or latest dump of buy/sell walls.  Let's focus on the path forward.

Don't be afraid to offer help, every little bit goes a long way, that's what makes communities so strong, working together as a team.  A lot can be accomplished if we just stay focused and keep our heads looking forward.  We have innovative tech, we have a devoted team of developers, we have a strong and passionate community.  There is no reason for navajocoin to fail, we have all the ingredients required for success.

People who don't have much to offer besides kind words on the forum, like myself, we can donate to the foundation.  I am sure their are strong navajocoin supporters who have profited from the recent up/down swings, why not donate some of your recently acquired btc to help expedite the success of navajocoin.  This is my plan and I have just sent 0.1 btc to the foundation  btc address, was hard to do with the current price of NAV, but in the long run it should work out for the better.  I suggest others to seriously consider making a small donation as well.  I am confident navajocoin will succeed, but let's make it happen sooner.  Alleviate some strain/pressure from the devs and help them out.  *ninjaboon* you are awesome man, when the call went out for help, you were the only one that offered any, kudos to you and many thanks.

Thanks again to the developers who have put their blood,sweat and tears into this project, none of us would be here if not for you.  During the beta tests, I offered up some NAV for a reward to anyone who found a leak in our anon, no one found it, so I said I would send my coins to the Devs in lieu.  owning up to my words, I just sent each of you 3k NAV and you guys totally deserve them.  Remy, your analysis on the block chain has been very interesting and insightful, some of the PM's you sent me must of taken 30+ minutes just to type them out, let alone do the research and have it make sense.  I am very grateful for the time you took to explain/analyse the questions I brought up to you.  Remy, PM me your NAV address and I will send some your way as well.

just made my first anon transaction a little while ago, worked like a charm.   I checked the anon box then hit send, my screen blinked a couple times like the neuralyzer from MIB and even I don't know what the heck happened, but my coins ended up where they needed to be, so works great. :-)

don't worry about the price, it is clear that it is being manipulated.  Buy/sell based on your own judgement and not what has happened on Bittrex (or this thread) in the past 5 minutes.  Day traders, beware you are playing with fire here.  The investors who are looking for complete anon transactions will obviously have to fully verify it before buying big.  I won't hypothesize any future predictions of price, but I do think we should start to see more of an upward trend.

I agree communication/announcements could have been better organized and laid out, but the devs definitely do not deserve some of the comments that have come out lately.  As they said, be respectful in your comments, whether giving praise or criticism. <-- this is directed at both NAV long time holders and NAV newcomers !

I think most were reading what they wanted to read and not what was actually there.  Emotions are roaring and the thread is flying bye ( I finally just now got caught up with the times, been trying all morning ).

From what I gather, the only information that remains foggy about Monday's release are as follow's:

1) ok the date is Monday March  23rd, awesome.  Are you nailing down a time of day for the release ?  if not, that's cool with me, I understand.  But just say that you are not giving an exact time.  This will end a lot of repeat questions, some may not like it, but if its the truth, just say it.

2) is the launch of Anon reliant on Cryptsy fixing their wallet ?  I suspect they should be ready by Monday.... but, I would have thought it should be ready by now.  so, who knows.

Maybe it's just foggy for me, but I think others are unaware as well.  I bet a lot of people are skipping pages, etc.... All such info should be clear in the OP for everyone to see.

I don't really care on the these answers as I have faith, but to all the new investors out there, they did not have the benefit of all the trust that was built up since last July.   In order to help stabilize the price, we need a constant influx of these new investors.  I and many others have faith and are holding, you got us hooked already, we are happy; it's the new investors that need to be the main focus right now ( besides ensuring a perfectly solid anon release of course ).  We need to make sure they get concrete info when they are looking for it.  The crypto world has created nervous, un-trusting people, albeit for damb good reasons with all the other scams out there over the years, but I am not really that surprised on recent events, ok dropping down to 1200 was quite shocking... but I was expecting a dump.

Don't take my post the wrong way, I don't have time to go over it to make sure I didn't say something a bit wrong.  in a nut shell; play nice, dev's keep up the good work and we need to make sure new investors have all the info they need.

Verify you got your wallet from the link in the OP or from the navajocoin.org website.   if unsure, re-download it from one of these locations.

Double check your navajocoin.conf file has the following nodes:

If it looks good, you could try syncing your wallet from the latest blockchain file provided by the dev team.

1) BACKUP your wallet.dat !!!
2) delete your exiting blockchain files.
3) download and unzip the dev teams most recent blockchain file.
4) open wallet and see if it syncs.

At first I thought you were being sincere with your concerns/comment.  But after digging through the thread history, I realized that you got an answer 30 minutes after you posted your concern initially a couple days ago.  Maybe you missed it, but I am now with GREEDYJOHN and think you are trying to create FUD, especially given the timing.

If I am wrong, I apologize.  Your concerns have been noted and the Foundation will have to decide on appropriate actions to take once the storm settles.  I think this topic was brought up months and months ago when we switched the name, but not exactly sure what the verdict/conclusion was ( not digging that far back).

Anyways, I assure you, we (the community and devs) in no way want to disrespect the Navajo Nation and urge you to put this aside for now and buy some coins. :-)

I would tend to believe the latter, as soon as someone chips away at it, it will be gone.  I would imagine whoever has that sell order is no more than 5 seconds away from his PC at all times, pee bag on leg...the full nine yards.  It will disappear when they need to sleep if no-one takes a chunk of it first.  No logical person with that many coins would sell thier coins this way if they wanted out.

Instead of chipping away at it, pool together btc and take a massive chunk out of it. teach them a leson, you don't f**k with the NAV community. :-)

completely agree.  I am lucky that I fell asleep last night while btc was enroute to Bittrex.   I was going to buy up to 3000 sats, now I am trying to get some at 2100.

EDIT: my patience lasted all of 5 seconds.... decided to buy and not chance missing coins this cheap.
