it is hypothetical but isn't the answer obvious already? the answer is bitcoin! think about it and look at some price history. each time bitcoin has a big rally, altcoins mostly drop. some of them drop even harder than others. even if any of them rose, their rises wouldn't be as big which means having your money elsewhere is loss-of-opportunity. Honestly, the majority of people will say that Bitcoin, Etheruem, Ripple.., will jump to the top. In fact, this may be achieved, but my opinion is different, there is a currency that will have a wonderful future, even though the media does not talk about it that much, compared to other currencies.
As well, this currency is Lisk (LSK), and It is now ranked 19th in the market and their current price is $ 22. I think it will go up considerably, and may become more than $ 100 during this year.
From my opinion,Monero will be the next altcoin go to the moon.Monero had very deep history and survive for long periods.Since lite coin had good potential and survive,they had reached the value of 178$.So we can expect the same in Monero soon. |

We had the same bounce at $12k. Look where we went after that.
BTC touched 9.8k last week then again bounced back to 12k and now it is again in 10-11k range, I think it has became mostly stable, mostly likely it won't go down from this. Bitcoin price is stable at the 10k$,the price is just fluctuate.Now the price of bitcoin is moves towards the 12k$ peak.Once it's achieved it will move towards the 14k$.So inverse in bitcoin and get huge profit.If you have a idea to inverse in bitcoin,you can carry on now. |

Hold or trade, which is better? It is not the question for others you should make the right analysis of the present market
with your previous knowledge and experience with cryptocurrency, whether there is a rise in amount in the chart and you
have to make a decision whether you have to hold or trade based upon your own skills.
By the market price,this will vary obviously.If the price of bitcoin reaches maximum,just sell the holding bitcoin.If it's happened reverse,you should just hold the bitcoin,till the price raise maximum.Holding only make you free from loss. Avoid of panic selling. |

i personally more likely to consider bitcoin and altcoin is speculation and investment because if we see from investment side bitcoin and altcoin good for investment asset and hold them for short term and long term purppose is good but it can be considered as speculation too because sometimes we can predict the price both of them until hoping if we sell at the particular price we expect huge profit from our speculations results
I agree with your points buddy.Both bitcoin and altcoin is best to inverse your money.Bitcoin is the asset best for short term profit where as altcoin is the best to inverse for the long-term profit.Ethereum price will slowly increase ,this is the reason for Ethereum as a long-term profit. |

I think that a beginner should start with investing. Find 3-5 good coins and buy them for several months and gradually learn the topic of crypto currency. As you said newbie start trading is not a good idea first he need to learn about the crypto currency market and pick some coins for investment which can give profits until that,But if he already have the enough knowledge about trading then he can try it with affordable amount to lose. But if you want to start trade pick the coins with more volatility in price then you can make money through day trading or pick stable coins for longer term trading. Ya you can carry on.Since do bitcoin trading is the best option for learning trade.You have to practice trading to learn trading.If you want means,you can start trade with low value at first.Even you can start trade with 10$,then you can carry on with huge dollar and get huge profit. |

I definitely think btc can be sub $5,000 again, I don't know if this year or when, but I've said that when it was around $20,000. I don't base it off any speculation what bankers or the government would do, it's a combination of technicals as well as the fact there are so many better new coins out there today. Don't get me wrong, I still think long term bitcoin will do well as a store of value, but it will do gradually less well.
Bitcoin is the king no doubt but it can also drop to 5000$ or below, if there's a government strict regulations Ya I agree bitcoin is the king of Crypto currency,but it will not reduce below 5000$ and all.If the bitcoin banned in all over the world,it may happen.But it may takes more than a decade.I won't think this may occur and all.Some country government may make bitcoin illegal due to bitcoin replace their own currency. |
