looks awesome !!! dont have time to look at it very much right now, but noticed the logo is different from the wallet.  I am not sure if we nailed down a logo that everyone wants, i chose the one I liked, but not many others said anything.

I will assume there are two chains, one with old wallet and the other with new wallet.  I suspect stonerpool.com is on the old wallet....

Anyone mining on stonerpool.com should get off it right away and start solo mining...

If anyone is not sure how to solomine, I will post a tutorial shortly.

Assuming you are on Windows, you should have your Hempcoin conf file looking something like this:
* it should be here C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Hempcoin\Hempcoin.conf

rpcuser=hemp
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcport=42000
port=12345
addnode=54.186.62.109

- rpcuser/rpcpassword values are like what you use when connecting to a pool. can be whatever you want.
- rpcallowip should be the IP address of the computer running the mining software. in this case, its the local PC.
- rpcport is the port your wallet is waiting for connections on.

make sure you relaunch your wallet after making any changes to this file as it only reads it on starting up.

this is the config you would use on your mining software to solo mine on the wallet, in this example it would be as follows:
   {

                "user" : "hemp",
                "pass" : "x"
        },

** note the "http://" and not "stratum+tcp://"

you wont see any accepts on your mining software until you find a block.

scratch that perfect statement... just looked closer and I am getting orphans.. still yet to have a block fully confirm..... hmmmmm.

that is what I was thinking... can you confirm if your wallet is on same block as the explorer ?

you could also delete the blockchain and let it re-download again.... obviously backup wallet.dat first.

Are you running wallet on Windows or Linux ?  My windows is working perfect and my linux one is currently downloading the block chain, currently @114832..... will let you know if I notice anything on Linux wallet.

only other thing I can think of is the repairwallet command.... honestly not exactly sure what it does, but I know it has helped others (diff coins) with somewhat similar problems ( definitely backup wallet.dat before trying this )

just hit a block, its working fine for me.

you cant do anything bad, but wrong... sort of.

coin control gives you the ability to select which of your coins you are sending.

for example:

you have 200 coins in your wallet, 100 of them are 44 days old and 100 are 1 day old.
**coins acquire age as they sit in your wallet, if you send them anywhere (even to a diff address in your wallet) this will reset the coins age.
you now want to send 100 coins to the exchange, by default the wallet would send your oldest coins ( I am pretty sure anyways) which would be the 44 day old ones.
this now leaves you waiting for 44 more days until your new (1 day old) coins are able to stake.

With control, you can specify that you want to send the 100 (1day old) coins to the exchange so that in 1 day your other 100 ( 44 day old) coins will start staking.

should update the OP with new reward halving and the fork to make sure any newcomers are aware of it.

delisting the coin would be removing the market from the exchange... not good for hempcoin.

Sorry, I meant to reply to you when I saw your post, but then got on to other things... yes mining is still going on and diff is very low apart from the odd spike here and there, you will make back your coins and more.

I lost a bunch of hempcoin also, but still have a good stash.  PM me your address and ill throw some your way to help make up for some of it.

Well, first off; great work, we got some excellent logos to choose from... the problem is there are 4 that I like.... and depending on the location of the moon and the sun I have a different favorite.

My order of preference right now would be A - C - B - D

I think the thicker font for 'HEMPCOIN' from A,B is easier to read, especially if it were printed smaller.  I guess you may have tried already, but what does B look like with the lettering/symbol from A ?

wow, each batch getting better and better.  im torn by the first two, what about white lettering on the middle one ? maybe with the green from middles lettering as a border to the symbol ?

alright, you convinced me... just removed my buy orders on mintpal and decided to buy some at a slightly higher price.  not pushing my luck anymore.  :-)

cant believe the price has come down so much... its been a roller coaster from the very start and between pumps it used to go down to around 40 sat, but with the vast decrease in total coin count and the fact that you cant mine directly anymore.... very surprised it made it this low...  but I think we are at or very close to rock bottom.

If it wasn't for the damb bot trading TES on mintpal I bet the price would be much higher.... me n that bot have been battling for the past couple days.

Kudos to whoever bought 0.9BTC worth ( 1.3 million) late last week on mintpal... wish i had the funds to do it... that was purchased from the BOT... he may be making pennies now trading back and forth all day, but when the day comes and TES achieves its true value ( well, my interpretation of it anyways )  he will be crying in his big pile of pennies.

yep, that change definitely makes it look nicer and more professional.   Maybe try some other greens to have a bit of color in there, but either way, I think hempcoin will have one of the nicest logos.

I think it might actually be the color of green that shows up under the artificial light ( upper and left portion of the H and also the 'HEMPCOIN' on top/bottom edges of the coin ) that is turning me off of it. Or maybe my eyes/monitor are playing tricks on me...

I really like the rest of the colors, just the one green is off ( I think ).

don't get me wrong though, I think its awesome, just being nit picky and wanted to give you some feedback as it seems not many of use were piping up.

I really like those logo's.  I am kinda leaning towards the more earthy colors, the last 3.  great work !!  I like the one where you say the green is off. I agree it might be a little off, but think with slight tweeking, it would rock.

I have read most of this thread and maybe I missed someone mentioning it, but I put my math hat on this weekend and figured out what the average block reward is when taking into account the bonus blocks... I was amazed to find out the answer.... very clever, i might add.  well done Hempcoin.

has anyone else done the math..... try it out... here is the formula for you to find out on your own. :-)

( 250 * 0.98 ) + ( 1750 * 0.01 ) + ( 15750 * 0.01 ) =
