cryptocoin trading platforms are unregulated.  these may leave them more subject to certain kinds of manipulation.  for example, the owners of poloniex have more data about the markets than you do.  what's to stop them from cheating with that data?  nothing from a legal perspective anyway.

i still trade there and still believe in this market but if i got scammed i'd be unsurprised.

Every year the world is getting more peaceful.

CLAM is super small.

I hope it is a group that wants to take part of the staking process and long term profit.

"They" sucked JD down to 1.18 million from a 1.42 million high (not sure the exact ATH)... pretty impressive for just a 48 hour period.

Their buy only bumped CLAM to a little above a $2 million dollar market cap.  That's nothing for a global thing.

Long term profit how? CLAMS are basically casino chips for Just Dice. You'd be betting on Just Dice returns rising. And also, as CLAM gets more expensive, more people is encouraged to dig them, which negatively affects its price.

They are casino chips for just-dice and a way to invest in the just-dice bank. The market dynamics are hard to grasp, one big holder can obviously move the market considerably.

There isn't an expiration date on Clamcoins at the moment.

I would rather never see coins go tits up due to time.

hmmn, not sure what i'm missing then.  I had plenty of doge in that wallet prior to the benchmark date and I tried file>import wallet and imported the dogecoin wallet.dat file.  No clams show up, am i not pushing 'Enter' hard enough?

In your ultimate bearish view,  if it is the truth then why wouldn't everyone just dig them right now - in a "race to the bottom" of price?

Doesn't seem to be the case.

There is A LOT of clams in physical coins, there is a lot also that were probably lost, and well, many just don't want to bother themselves or are waiting till the price is higher.
