301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 31, 2024, 05:31:12 PM
After suffering a painful defeat the previous week when they were defeated by Villarreal with a score of 3-5, this week Barcelona will host Osasuna who is ranked 12th in the temporary standings. Statistically Osasuna is no better than Barcelona, but I have deep concerns about them, especially in defence. This season, this point still has many weaknesses which in the end can be exploited by opponents to beat them. Last week's defeat will definitely be a heavy pressure for them, which is precisely the pressure that will probably make it difficult for them to give their best in this match.
Osasuna must have made a strategy based on Barcelona's weaknesses this season, if they succeed in implementing that strategy I won't be surprised when Barcelona loses again in this match.

You know Barcelona is not confident right now and Barcelona is also not very consistent as well. So even though the next match for Barcelona should be very easy for them, I am pretty doubtful about Barcelona. I think there is a very good chance that Barcelona will drop points in this match.

However, I can't disagree Barcelona should be very hungry for a win. The thing is with all the problems that Barcelona is facing right now, there is another one that just got added, the coach is going to leave. So that is another thing Barcelona will have to keep in mind. On paper, it looks like Barcelona should be winning the next match. But I am not so sure.

Maybe we have often heard that Alphonso Davies' name has been linked with Real Madrid to fill the left wing-back position and the hunt to get him is still ongoing now. However, it is not only Alphonso Davies who is being targeted by Real Madrid and the rumors about Yan Couto have recently been heard quite loudly. Girona's right wing-back has made Real Madrid very interested in him and we know that Dani Carvajal is no longer young and maybe Real Madrid feels that his role is very suitable for Dani Carvajal.

I think the two wing-back candidates from Real Madrid are very appropriate, Alphonso Davies with his speed and agility combined with Vinicius from the left wing will be much more dangerous for the opponent's defense. For Yan Couto, he is also quite agile but the most important thing is that he has very good long ball accuracy and that is why Girona players are often spoiled by his passes when scoring goals.

At this moment Real Madrid needs more faster players. We all know that Real Madrid is currently in a transitional period and they are moving towards the players who are younger. So to support the young generation from the back, the players will need to be faster. But sometimes only pace is not going to be the solution.

If a player can actually give pinpoint accurate passes, sometimes it helps out a lot while on counterattack. So Real Madrid will have to make a choice. Maybe the player with better passing is also not a bad idea. But you can always teach a player how to accurately pass the ball, but not how to run faster than he can right?
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin. on: January 31, 2024, 11:52:03 AM
It’s not wrong to use Bitcoin as an exchange for goods and services. Bitcoin is both an asset and a currency, sadly many people see it only as a asset and completely disregard the currency part. If we don’t use Bitcoin as money, how do you expect Bitcoin to have mass adoption? Companies and small businesses will have no motivation to add Bitcoin as a payment method if they don’t have enough patronage. I expect bitcoiners to take advantage of opportunities that gives them the chance of buy and pay for stuff with bitcoins.
The reason behind the innovation is to serve as an alternate to the momentary system and take away the intermediary. Due to the tremendous growth of cryptocurrency, people started to prioritize bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as assets rather than a medium of exchange. In some countries, it is possible to see increased acceptance of bitcoin in specific locations, whereas the same isn't happening all around due to different governments having different opinions on cryptocurrency usage. It takes time for a massive transition.

I don't know if using bitcoin as a payment method in other countries is correct as you said. But honestly, I don't think bitcoin will become a currency in the future. When from the very first days people saw it as a speculative asset, when ads about bitcoin ETF were all over social networks and they called it an investment, not a currency. So the idea of it becoming a currency seems to have disappeared, not to mention the government will never let that happen because they can't control it.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 30, 2024, 06:02:26 PM
Funny seeing Giannis get called for a free throw violation for taking longer than 10 seconds to shoot. Joker was counting at the refs… Giannis really needs to switch that up before it gives him problems in a big game.

Bummed to see the Rockets win yesterday. I think that might be my least favorite team in the NBA.

Giannis is a great player and it was a little surprising for me to see him making a mistake like that. I think professional players are not supposed to make those kinds of mistakes. But it's fine as long as he can fix it quickly and his team does not suffer a lot because of it. But I agree that it was definitely a little funny.

I was also surprised to see the Rockets win against the Lakers. I didn't expect this result from them, to be honest. I expected the Lakers to win this game. But Lakers had a bad performance in this game.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: will the btc price reach 100k ? on: January 29, 2024, 01:34:09 PM
Bitcoin really achieve ATH of 100k, just need bitcoin holders to be patient and hold without panic. You have to believe in bitcoins for the long term holding, and pay less attention to that holding and in no way panic and close that holding. You should always have faith in Bitcoin, if the value of Bitcoin goes down now, it will go up in value later. So hold without panic,,it will really generate ATH of 100k.
It is good if you really believe in Bitcoin to reach the $100k. But I think you have no reason to ensure Bitcoin really hits $100k. No expert who can guarantee this, it is purely a speculation. I appreciate you are very optimistic, but you can't claim the patient will ensure the ATH of $100k. Reaching $100k or not, it totally depends on the demand of crypto in the market. No one knows how big the demand in the future.

I'm not trying to make every one be pessimistic with the ATH of Bitcoin. However, we must be more realistic in making a target. Don't solely to rely on the patient, patient is not enough to make someone be success in Bitcoin investment. We don't forget that be a smart investor is the right way to improve the chance for a success.

You are right, nothing is 100% guaranteed, so we should not be too subjective and need a backup plan. I am also optimistic and expect bitcoin to reach 100 thousand USD or higher but I will not be subjective and have blind expectations because investing is not only profitable but always carries potential risks. Furthermore, bitcoin is a very volatile and manipulated investment so we should be even more cautious. I see many people still think that investing in bitcoin is risk-free, I really don't understand why they have such delusional thinking.

We are investing our money at risk, we are not here playing childish games but it is confusing that they have such childish thinking.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 29, 2024, 09:58:49 AM
Barcelona have been subtle in the very best ways because they don't joke with them legends when they are Inna tight corner and odd environment like this.
They can't boast of winning any more trophies this season, they only can hope they win game and qualify for the first four clubs in the Premier League Competition next season.

Xavi Hernandez won Barcelona the trophy last season you get me? So I see no Fvck reasons why he'll call my best midfied nothing and nobody.
Jurgen Klopp has no plans for a new a new club right now.
Xavi achieved many achievements when he was still with Barcelona and winning last season was also a very important achievement. However, you need to know that perhaps the owner of Barcelona does not see how important his achievements are but instead demands that Xavi must always be asked to provide The best at the current club often loses and problems often occur which also makes Xavi increasingly stressed and perhaps this is what makes Xavi unable to think clearly and has difficulty giving instructions to his players when playing on the field.

I don't understand why people are saying that the coach of Barcelona, Xavi has done something literally incredible! ! Even though we know that the financial situation of Barcelona is not good at all, I think Xavi was given enough resources to work with.

If it was not Xavi, and some other coach actually wanted to bring in Robert Lewandowski for 50 million at that moment,  do you guys actually think Barcelona authority would have agreed?

I really don't think so.

Even though Barcelona is trying to be cheap and maintain its financial situation, they have spent a lot of money through Xavi. I am not saying he did not do anything for Barcelona. But maybe it will not be a crime to actually ask for better.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 29, 2024, 09:20:33 AM

Although I am quite sad about Xavi's decision to finally give up and leave at the end of the season. But I respect his decision which shows that he is not selfish if it is for the good of the club he loves. Pressure from outside the club has indeed become stronger. And it is possible that Xavi's decision can slightly reduce the criticism that continues to rain down on him.

Tuchel reportedly gave a positive signal and is ready to replace Xavi next season. But I personally see that the problems at Barcelona are not just about the coach, but indeed their financial problems have also been protracted so that they also have difficulty competing in the transfer market. But I am sure that Xavi will give his best in the remainder of his coaching time at Barcelona.
Well I think he's making the right decision to leave while it's too early and allow the board to find solutions to the team other than staying back and attracting a bad record to his name and the club, if you notice you'll understand that the burden is too much on him and if he continues to stay beyond this season, with all the pressure from their rivals and that of angry fans, he could make lots of mistakes that would make Barca decline very bad. Well he's tried to get them this far, atleast he won a trophy with them, and the least he could do is help them qualify for the top 4.

Tuchel is not a bad option though but the question is can he stand the pressure in barcelona, if you notice he's having quite a difficult challenge in the Bundesliga due to Leverkusen's form and I wonder how he's going to cope coaching Barcelona that's having financial crisis with low budget to spend like Munich did to sign Harry Kane, also if Leverkusen is giving him a tough time with the squad at Munich them how would he cope facing Real Madrid.

I don't know why everyone is loving Xavi so much. He has not done something out of the ordinary and he has not been able to bring Barcelona the results that Barcelona wanted without spending a lot of money. At the end of the day he did spend a lot of money and that was also in a time when Barcelona didn't have a good financial situation. He also spent a lot of money on players who did not deserve that kind of money as well.

Yes, I am talking about Robert Lewandowski.

Anyway, I don't think he has actually been able to do incredible stuff with Barcelona. He just got lucky that Real Madrid was not informed in that season. But now when the competition got harder, he's already giving up.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 29, 2024, 08:59:25 AM
There is a piece of very bad news for Bayern Munich and their fans about their coach, while they're racing hard into Budesligga for the title with Leverkusen and every single point is important for them, it seems Tuch said he is interested in leaving Bundesliga for La Liga and he somehow said that he wants to work for Barcelona. Maybe I'm not right about Tuchel in Barcelona but it was shocking enough when we saw Tuchel even thinking about leaving Bayern Munich.

He is absolutely dumb if he actually thinks that he should go to Barcelona or his moving to Barcelona is actually going to be a good thing for him.

Because you know Barcelona is not in a good position right now, and going to Barcelona right now is actually a bad idea for any coach.
I think it might also seem like the coach of Bayern Munich is actually trying to escape his responsibility of winning the Bundesliga title which is why he wants to go to Barcelona. Maybe he is afraid of losing the Bundesliga title or making Bayern Munich lose the title after 11 years indeed. I don't think I am wrong about this, to be honest.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are these P2P crypto platforms SCAM? on: January 28, 2024, 02:15:47 PM
Only Paxful can be considered a P2P crypto platform, the rest as you say are centralized exchanges. However, discussing whether it is legit or not, I cannot conclude directly, the platforms you say are already popular globally and have millions of users so they can be said to be quite trustworthy. But that does not guarantee that the exchange platform will be trustworthy in the future, because the possibility that they could collapse is very possible, as was the case with FTX some time ago. So always pay attention to your assets and if possible, there is no need to hold them for a long time on a centralized exchange.

I agree with you that P2P trading on centralized exchanges is not completely P2P because of the intervention of a third party, and that is the exchange. But as long as you don't bother with KYC issues and never store assets on those centralized exchanges, using P2P on CEX will be many times easier and more convenient than DEX.

Regarding the future, nothing can be trusted whether DEX or CEX because you cannot predict what will happen in the future. If you only use CEX for P2P trading and buying and selling coins then you won't have any problems.

The collapse of FTX has nothing to do with the topic we are discussing because we only talk about P2P, no one talks about storing assets on CEX.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the rush to gain profit in crypto? on: January 28, 2024, 01:24:40 PM
People who know exactly how to manage their investments before bull run were not desperate enough to rush and gain profit in crypto. But for those who are here for greed and nothing else, once they see potentials to be in profits, they will eventually grab for it even selling when it’s not actually bull run yet. And I think we don’t have control over them if that will be their mindset but we can always educate them not to take the rush because bitcoin price will eventually grow more when the real bull run hits the market.

After all, cryptocurrency is also a financial market and there will always be winners and losers. If there are no stupid and greedy people, who will become the liquidity for us to sell bitcoin for profit? This may sound harsh, but these are the rules of the financial game, we cannot change or educate everyone. If we were all like us, holding and not rushing into the market to make a quick profit, who would buy and sell for us to make a profit?
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 27, 2024, 04:50:37 PM
snip

The Mavs versus Hawks in this rivalry week was also entertaining especially to those who like watching offensive battles.
Luka Doncic with 73 points, Wow!  Shocked 41 1st half points.
After a bad defeat against their rival Phoenix Suns, he poured everything against the other rival Hawks.
Embiid, Luka, and Booker.
Are we even playing defense? Cheesy Well, it sure is entertaining for the new kind of NBA and I bet the Hawks fans are stunned with what happened.

Luka was absolutely incredible in this match. If I am not wrong, We also saw another 70 points from another player a few games ago. So it looks like now it has definitely become easier for the players to have an explosive performance like that. And remember I am saying "easier" compared to the past. Because it is still definitely a very hard work for a player to actually get 70 points in a match.

I am also pretty sure that the hawks fans are definitely very stunned after watching what happened. Let's be honest, if Luca had a little worse performance than he had in this match, it probably would have been a win for Hawks
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 26, 2024, 08:45:24 PM
There we come again. The Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has informed the club that they will resign their former striker, Kareem Benzenma, from Al-Itthad. I am so skeptical that if this news is right and Real Madrid has signed Kareem Benzenma so how could they be able to sign another strike Kylian Mbappe? Killyan Mbappe is going to be a free agent, despite Real Madrid also having dreamed about his signing. But I think the Kylian Mbappe situation is In my opinion, the situation with Killian Mbappe is a bit complicated, so the boss of Real Madrid picked Kareem Benzema over Kylian Mbappe to make the team better. Kareem Benzenma is one of the greatest pouchers in the attacking sense although Real Madrid already has the experience of Kareem Benzenma. But anyway We do not know to what extent there is truth in these things. But I think the signing of Kareem Benzema is not appropriate for Real madrid because he turned 37 years old and now he can't be expected to play anymore since he spent 4–5 years with Real Madrid.

I have heard that he has some problems with the management in his club in the Saudi League. But I did not hear that Real Madrid is actually considering bringing him in again. And I of course really do not know the authenticity of this. Because there is literally no reason for Real Madrid to bring him in again. Real Madrid is a club that also likes to move on in life.

If Real Madrid had to bring someone in, they're good actually go for Christiano Ronaldo who has been performing really well recently. And that is if they had to get someone from the Saudi League. But again that could have cost money so probably that is not the best comparison. But anyway I still do not see any great reason for them to bring in benzema.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 25, 2024, 03:38:41 PM
I totally disagree with you. At the start of the season we did not get the expected  performance from Juventus'  strikers. Juventus' attack was  far behind Inter Milan's attack. They won most of the matches by narrow margins. But now Juventus' attack can no longer be called weak.

Juventus have scored 18 goals in their last  5 matches. And conceded just two goals. From  this it can be easily guessed that Juventus' attack and defense are now very strong. Although their performance was poor at the beginning of the season, they gradually strengthened themselves. So I would say right now both Inter Milan and Juventus are equally strong. And both the teams are equally likely to win the 5-Feb match.
Regardless of the narrow or big wins that Juventus has achieved since the start of the season, it must be admitted that Juventus' performance this season is quite well organized in all areas and they are also quite consistent, I don't see any empty gaps in the current Juventsu team and regarding line criticism Juventus' lack of sharpness is illogical because there is no way they can win the match if their front line performance is poor.
In terms of quality and consistency, the Juventus and Inter Milan teams are quite equal at the moment and indeed in terms of the percentage of winning the Scudetto this season, I also think that both teams still have the same chance.

Juventus is performing well. And yes the performance in both attack and defense has significantly improved from them. But the biggest thing for them is going to be consistency. They will have to be consistent. The way Inter is performing right now, they will not be able to compete with them if they are not consistent. Juventus is performing fairly well even though they have to face a lot of problems recently. But I think they are starting to overcome all the problems.

What do you guys think? Can Juventus actually win the league title?

318  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 15, 2024, 05:13:21 PM

Can gambling actually change someone who is bad mannered for good instead of getting them more complicated in their wrong doings, same way we can see gambling as a means of getting ourselves attached to something that could get us being occupied than having much time on unnecessary things, we should also be mindful of not allowing irresponsible gambling to affect our personal relationships.
Gambling can never change anyone that is bad to good but it can make it worse if care is not taken. This is the reason why we have to be careful as we gamble so that we are not doing it amiss and causing irresponsibility for us. Gambling might be good and can be fun and give us money but the approach we engage it with matters so well. This is why some people will be having a good experience with gambling and telling good stories about how it earns them money and still have their fun through it, and while this good testimony might be split among users, it might still be true for a single user, I mean both of them (testimonies) to prove that gambling could be good.

This makes gambling not entirely as bad as some will even think of it, it now depends on the smartness, carefulness or carelessness of the users. The sportsbook to be precise is a very good one for those who are wise, they can have their good experience with it if they are careful and will never affect anything good in them, be it relations or finances, it is all about the budget and plans and the speculations of the bettor. The time they have for betting matters too, we should not let it affect us and cause us to be irresponsible for whatever reason, once the spare time allotted for it has lapsed, we should just do other necessary things and let go to avoid letting it occupy our good time unnecessarily which could strain other things in life.

Actually, the addiction can't depend on the smartness, alertness, or carelessness of the user. Once you get addicted, you cannot easily get out of that addiction, and it is not under one's control. The lure of money earned from gambling strongly attracts people to gambling in the hope of winning more money. More or less everyone has greed for money, it does not depend on smartness or unsmartness. Addiction makes people so intoxicated that there are instances of suicide after losing money.

People who think that gambling is only for entertainment and its negative side cannot affect them, even if you start gambling with these thoughts, you can't control yourself if you do not find a healthy environment. So for Responsible gambling, I think the environment is the key factor.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: January 15, 2024, 04:09:21 AM
I don't understand why the Bitcoin community in the forum doesn't say more than $100k, because the halving is coming and things are getting much better for this, that is , if I want Bitcoin to be in first place we have to believe first, I Understand that the last ATH was at $70k but the truth must be different, I could think that if it is going to reach more than 100k because just thinking about a new ATH is always above the expectations of We enthusiasts and all the time surprise us, just imagining that big companies like Microsestartategy Begin to make small purchases, the price immediately increases to more than $20k, then emotions are something else, people only buy bitcoin when it is starting to rise When the price drops, they don't buy , Instead of approving, but those who don't know do that.

I will always say that when it comes to doing other types of things like buying wholesale, it is only better, this way a better future can be guaranteed when it comes to raising the price, because I do believe it can reach $120k.

I agree with you, most people's predictions on the forum always revolve around the number 100k, I rarely see anyone talking about higher prices. While the previous ATH was $69k and the gap to $100k is too close to reach, are people slowly underestimating bitcoin's growth?

For me, I even believe that with major events this year, we will have a super cycle and bitcoin may even rise to 150k-200k. And what's more, we will see many altcoins grow 100x or 1000x, I have a feeling that the upcoming bull season is going to be huge.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin ETF have any impact on the bitcoin price? on: January 15, 2024, 03:57:22 AM
In my view, the ETF will have a significant impact on the demand for bitcoin and will in turn push up the price of bitcoin but things will take time to adapt. We cannot expect that as soon as an ETF is approved, trillions of dollars will flow into the market and bitcoin prices will increase immediately. This is one of the short-sighted thoughts I see a lot of people have and they are the ones complaining because the price of bitcoin did not increase when the ETF was passed. I bet these people will continue to complain and be disappointed when the halving happens because they always expected bitcoin to increase immediately after the halving but things never turned out that way.

ETF or halving are important events for bitcoin, but everything takes time to take effect, but there are too many stubborn people deliberately not understanding that.
