1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Suggestions About Investment in new projects on: March 05, 2023, 08:47:05 AM
Nice ideas when promoting some new coins project did by OP between asking about potential or not with new coins https://quizbox.finance/ or he tries to promote with this project here. I checked this coin still on pre sale and launchpad at Pinksale, there are depend on your hand looking for how interested or potential with this coins or not. But when joining with launchpad or presale coins on Pinksale need to check how rule adopt with pre sale, will the costumer earn 100% coins or need vesting few percent every month.

Second option is not worth because can't guarantee with this project keep exist for long term, if OP excited with this coin need get 100% launchpad coin on Pinksale without vesting yet.

This is also what I was thinking, I suspect that it is the OP who owns the project, and it seems like they are changing the form of advertising, and it is smart to ask about the potential of the project instead of advertising the project publicly. I have not checked the project as I think it is like previous scam projects also introduced by newbies on the forum. My view of such projects is that they are Ponzi schemes and scams, which will only last for a short while.
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: March 05, 2023, 08:30:50 AM
All altcoins have experienced a deep decline when the market entered a bearish period and I'm sure none of the altcoins have experienced an increase and reached their previous ATH so we can say that everything is still cheap if you want to have it, do it immediately and always remember the risk that there will be an altcoin that will not return to its highest price and no one knows what it's the name so when you choose the wrong altcoin then you will have the opportunity to also lose not just profit, so be careful.

your opinion is also right, indeed if you look at the current market it is still in a bear market, which of course all coin prices have fallen, so it's just us who have to be smart in choosing coins that will have good potential,,
but do you have any suggestions for me, which are altcoins that you think have high potential for the future?

You better do your own research and make your own decision. Investing in Altcoins is aimed at finding high returns, but the risks are also high, so it is impossible to give advice to someone, nor should invest according to the advice of others. If you want high returns and are willing to take risks, then look for meme projects and new projects.
Regarding altcoins, I will only focus on top coins like ETH, BNB, and ADA... maybe the profits won't be as high as shitcoin projects, but the risks are also somewhat limited.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 04, 2023, 07:24:03 PM
The Asia Cup and the World Cup both are popular in cricket. However the biggest tournament of cricket is the world cup. Whatever Pakistan take the decision about the venue it must be well understood otherwise they may be in a large economic crisis. Plus and minus calculations need to be done very cautiously otherwise they may also have to give great compensation. However, If ICC , India and Pakistan Cricket Board can take reliable decision that would be good for the cricket.

There is going to be no issue if the BCCI says that there is no issue. After all, the ICC does everything according to the suggestion of the BCCI. The problem is BCCI is not going to let this one go. It is very clear that cricket is facing these types of problems because one country not having a good relationship with the other.

Political relation I mean.

I am not saying that Pakistan is a 100% safe country. So the security issue that India is showing right now is not absolutely baseless.

Anyway, I think the venue will be changed. and Pakistan will not be able to do basically anything about it.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 04, 2023, 04:53:31 PM
What is going to happen with Asia Cup we will have all updates in next few days because there was deadline for this event, and we are expecting another meeting for the solution with most chances if Pakistan insist for this event to be held in Pakistan then most chances India is not going to participate in this event, and they have to organize this event without them which is possible even market could be having big setback with this all but this matter is sure now we are not going to have any cricketing event between these two countries in next few decades because tension is at his highest level and no one going to accept others will which is also not good here in this region most chances we will have this event in the UAE or another postponement.

I really do not think that postponing this event is an option. The way things are coming on right now I believe India is likely to win. Pakistan is likely to have to take a loss here. I don't believe Pakistan has any other option other than that. India is the biggest cricketing nation in the world. They are generating the most amount of money that ICC gets. So of course, the ICC is determined to listen to India.

Ultimately, I think the venue will be shifted. Pakistan did say that they were not willing to participate in the world cup if the Asia cup was not hosted in Pakistan. That is expected to result in Pakistan taking losses after losses. If Pakistan is clever, they are going to try to make the Asia Cup be hosted in Pakistan. But if they cannot, they should not back out of participating in the world cup.

Gujarat Giants vs Mumbai Indians Women, 1st Match
Mumbai Indians Women player, Hayley Matthews's promising shorts were truly amazing. The West Indies batting all-rounder Hayley Matthews trying to make big score so far in this Womens Premier League 2023. So far unbeaten with an excellent innings of 42 runs off 27 balls. Her strike rate is 155 which is considered good performance in women's cricket. If she can stay on the pitch for a few more overs then Mumbai Indians Women will be able to build a big innings very easily.

Observing the match,,
Mumbai Indians collected a huge total of 207. It is going to be really hard for the Gujarat Gants to chase down successfully.
This is even a huge target by the standards of men's IPL.

The Gujarat Giants just started batting. In four balls they have only one run. Not an ideal start by any means.
There is no way they are actually going to be able to chase down this huge target.

1226  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: March 04, 2023, 01:01:08 PM
That's right, there are different ways to achieve financial independence, and it's good if we move in several directions to achieve our goals. Can this be achieved with cryptocurrencies alone? I think yes, there are many examples of this, it all depends on many factors, but most of the stories that brought great profits were about the hold, so we draw conclusions and buy bitcoin for the long term. Smiley
Uh alone? Nah. I'll pass on that optimism. There might be humungous amount of profits that you can earn in crypto alone, but having an unstable or uncertain profit is not going to make me financially independent or even free. There is just no financial and mental cushion to keep me set that I would still be able to pay my bills in the next upcoming months.

People might suggest that I should do trading, but hell I would not redo that nightmare that happened to me back then.

When your investment generates huge returns, but it is not stable, then it is true that you cannot call it financial independence or freedom. But thanks to that profit, you can do business, from which you can also have passive income. It's called cryptocurrency which gives you indirect financial independence.

Just because you are not successful in trading does not mean that others have failed like you. I have met many people who treat trading as a daily business, and they remain very well, even wealthy.
1227  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 04, 2023, 12:54:50 PM
Or fail to master things because a person lacks the foundation to understand a complex situation. @lionheart78 clearly states the benefits of higher education.  A person can learn things on their own but if the person happens to not have money to finance his dreams and goals, he will be crawling just to get enough funds to feed himself.  Among lots of poor people who are not able to attend proper education, only a handful become successful and the majority of them has no capability to send their kids to school.  I agree that those who got degrees are trapped in corporate jobs but at least they have the capability to earn higher and have a decent lifestyle, and they can pursue their dream of establishing business because they have a steady source of income and can save from it.
This makes sense, we have a chance to engage in entrepreneurship without education, but we do not know how successful it will be, and by the way, with higher education, we also do not know this.

But on the other hand, without higher education, we definitely will not be able to get a high-paying job. At the very least, this is important because it can be a fallback. I also recently talked to someone who thinks being a top manager is the best option because you will have a high salary, but there will be very low risks, since you will be an employee.

Of course, you can start your own business without education, but your success rate will not be higher than that of educated or highly educated people. I see people say there are many people who own businesses but don't have a degree, they don't have a degree doesn't mean they have no education. Look at the billionaires of today, many of them don't have college degrees, but they are very well educated. And how many uneducated people can succeed in business? If you notice, people with high salaries and stable jobs are all educated, and people in government all have degrees.
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 03, 2023, 06:45:41 PM
I really don't understand Marseille. They had a huge chance for winning a title in this season. But they just turned down the big opportunity after being eliminated by a small team. After eliminating PSG I was just seeing Marseille as the champions already. Because they were very strong among the teams remaining in the cup. But they gave it away and now they can just fight for the second spot in the Ligue 1. Because they let their championship chance slip here as well.
Their performance against PSG here was horrible as you remember. About the Rennes match I can only say that it will be really difficult. Rennes can take advantage of their demoralized condition and even beat them. I could pick Rennes' double chance for betting.
Yes they missed the opportunity to win a trophy this season. In fact, they were almost beaten by a team that, to be honest, I didn't really know much about in normal time, but they could give hope after equalizing in the final minutes. But that hope didn't really come true, because they had to really admit defeat in the penalty shoot-out. Actually, before this match I predicted they would be able to win the French Cup, but it turns out they had to be eliminated in the quarter-finals.

Marseille should actually think about staying in the second position from now on. Because right now they are only two points ahead of the third team on the table. But they are eight points behind PSG right now. Marseille just recently lost against PSG and after that, they also lost another match in the french cup. And I really thought they should have won the match.

So they are not currently in the best of mindset right now. They will play against Rennes next. I think this match might actually end up in a draw considering the current performance of both teams.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 03, 2023, 06:05:21 PM
The group phase of 2023 ACC Men's Challenger Cup is now complete. 4 teams have qualified for the semi-finals: first match will be between Bhutan and Saudi Arabia, while the second one will be between Bahrain and Thailand. The two gulf nations will have the advantage as they are entirely comprised of foreign players with first-class experience. Bhutan has a 100% native squad, while Thailand is also majority native. A total of 8 teams participated in this tournament, including Iran, Maldives, Indonesia and Myanmar.

The two finalists from this tournament will qualify for the 2023 ACC Men's Premier Cup (where a total of 10 teams take part). Winner from the Premier Cup will qualify for the Asia Cup, which will be held later this year in Pakistan.

Well, I am not so sure about the Asia cup being held in Pakistan. After all, what is happening so far does not indicate that Pakistan will actually be able to host the Asia cup. India is strongly opposing this idea. And in the end, considering the fact that Pakistan does not have a stable situation in the country, I don't think Pakistan will finally be able to post the Asia cup.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first investment for Bitcoin on: March 03, 2023, 12:18:16 PM
It's not a huge amount, but it's great that you made the right decision to invest in bitcoin and not spend it lavishly. It doesn't matter how much or how little because as long as you have the will to move forward, you will find a way to get more income to invest. Bitcoin is a long-term investment, so you don't need to rush it, accumulate bitcoins whenever possible. Over time, you will be surprised with what you accumulate as well as the benefits of investing in bitcoin.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: March 03, 2023, 12:10:32 PM
You friend was not greedy, he got Phished like many other people that are getting Phished every day. I get phishing emails daily from fake NetFlix sites trying to get my credit card information and my account information ...or links to a fake Online Banking site... but I always remember Rule #1 ===> Never click on links in your email!

Yes, I feel sorry that your friend lost his Bitcoin, but people should be more street wise when it comes to anything money related. There are people out there that spend most of their lives, trying to steal money from you.... you have to do everything in your power to stop them.  Wink

If not greed, then what is this? We all have greed, if it weren't for greed, we wouldn't risk investing in bitcoin. But greed combined with ignorance will cause extremely unfortunate consequences. If he weren't greedy he wouldn't have clicked the link. Losing money is something everyone regrets, but consider it a lesson of life, we still have a lot of opportunities to earn back the lost money, so there is no need to regret it, but get up from where you fell.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 02, 2023, 03:33:00 PM
I believe that BCCI is also working on this, but it’s difficult to do this in India because there’re so many talented player’s and it becomes difficult to drop someone out of the team. Also the Indian team fans will rebel a lot if their favourite player will be left out, hence I can understand why BCCI is not yet having totally separate squads for all the three formats.
Indian selectors do have a problem in dropping non-performing players. KL Rahul was sustained within the team for too long, at the cost of other talented young players. Cheteshwar Pujara is still in the team, despite not performing for almost 3 years in a row. Hardick Pandya was given a guaranteed slot in the team for almost three years, before he came back to form. And the woke brigade led by Kohli and Rohit have a preference for bowlers like Arshdeep Singh, Siraj and Umran, who are always preferred for selection ahead of Natarajan and Kuldeep Sen.

So how about this? The players who are currently performing well will be able to play in the main team. And those players who are not currently performing well are going to play in another team which is not going to take part in serious competitions.

What I am trying to say is suppose there is a tri-nation series going on between India, Australia, and New Zealand. Those players who are performing well are going to play in this tournament.

And suppose at the same time India will have a series against Ireland. Those players who are not in form can perform against Ireland to grow confidence. And in this way, India will be able to play multiple series at the same time as well.
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin? What's your percentage? on: March 02, 2023, 07:38:27 AM
I believe in Bitcoin, but when many of big countries are start to ban Bitcoin, I will sell my coin to prevent from possible huge lose in the future. But it doesn't mean I lost my trust in Bitcoin, I will buy Bitcoin when the price is cheaper due to government ban and panic. Even Bitcoin has been accepted as a legal tender in El Salvador and Central African Republic, but Bitcoin isn't still not safe for many countries. This year and next few years, we will see the future of Bitcoin, does it will be regulated or it will get banned.

You don't have to wait a few more years, right now, you can see that countries are taking a more friendly view of bitcoin. They realize that prohibition doesn't work and instead want to manage and control it for their benefit. Because governments haven't adopted it yet, people are still skeptical about the future of bitcoin. But as someone who has invested in it and what it has given me, I still believe 100% in bitcoin, it will continue to be there and grow even more in the future.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Mainstream payment method on: March 02, 2023, 07:22:19 AM
Government acceptance, the biggest barrier to bitcoin right now is the government, as long as they accept and decide bitcoin as the mainstream payment method, everyone will have to accept and obey. People who don't like bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because they obey the government, if the government doubts and bans bitcoin, those people will never learn about bitcoin. And I think the possibility of bitcoin becoming a mainstream payment method won't happen, governments won't let that happen.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 01, 2023, 07:53:39 PM
How many teams have got different squad for test and other formats of cricket. Yesterday England team played test match against New Zealand and lost it. Today England team have played against Bangladesh and won the match. This is good, because more players get opportunity to play for the country than just the same team playing every format of cricket.

India can try this kind of different squad for different format of cricket. BCCI have categorised the players on some category and have different salary slab.

I think the idea of having a different squad or multiple squads is actually very good. Especially for those teams which does have a lot of players. We know that the top teams like India, England, and Australia does have a lot of player waiting for a chance to play. If they have multiple squads, a lot of young players will be able to get the chance of playing and a lot of young talents will also come forward.

Another thing is, having multiple squads is also going to ensure that one country is being able to play in multiple tournaments and also against multiple countries at the same time.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 01, 2023, 07:27:59 PM
Their debt is extremely high, but they also understand that their brand has a certain value. I don't know how much of their tangible and intangible assets they have sold or rented out or used to secure a loan, but I think a collapse is not very likely for those huge soccer clubs. If anything, they would probably decide to sell equity or assets in order to avoid the collapse. But from there on it could be shifting into a downward spiral as the club could become less valuable in total very quickly. I am not able to give an estimate where Barcelona exactly stands. But I know that the media is talking about a collapse for some clubs for over a decade I think and it never happened.

I think you are right. At this moment they must have been getting all the help and all the time to recover from the problems that they have, just because the Barcelona name in itself has a lot of value.

Otherwise, if this was the story of any other club, I am quite sure that by now there probably would have not existed. I think this is good for Barcelona. Because they are getting a chance to fix the problems that they have.

So instead of just buying overpriced old players, they can probably think about how to save money and get out of debt. Of course, they are going to perform well if they have good players on the team. But the way they are spending, I don't think only winning the La Liga title is going to be enough.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 01, 2023, 02:15:45 PM
I don't even understand how Barcelona manages their debth with Fifa  to avoid sanctions. Everytime it would be said that they are in financial troubles and yet they make signings more than people that doesn't have financial issues.
About signing new players and especially Messi I read where he said that he will only make such transfer moves if fifa rule permits them.
Seriously there factors or factions behind this strange businesses from Barcelona, they tend to get overlooked by their financial crises and even compete with top teams for players. Imagine a team in such debt signing the likes of Lewandowski, even Bayern coach Julien Neglesmann has cried out that he still wonder how they do these businesses. Should they bring Messi back on such a huge wage then I will confirm that FIFA is truly biased in their way. Even Laliga has overlooked some irregularities maybe because they don’t want to lose Barca because of it pedegree in the league.
That is why they have been selling rights over the years for some parts of their brand and I think even some tv or marketing infrastructure? I don't remember exactly, but Barcelona is a club that has strong ties with large investors as well. Even though we as outsiders think that they must collapse soon, I already thought it so often but then somehow they were saved in a last moment attempt anyway. Who knows what kind of cash flows are happening behind the scenes. To me it is as if these clubs can never go bankrupt although any other normal business would have long been gone. If Barcelona needs more credit line they could go to some investor from abroad and ask for them to secure the loan in exchange for whatever. If Messi really left the club because of financial reasons that is the first time it really happened. I thought Messi left because the offer from PSG was too good and he wanted to try something else in his career.

Barcelona really does not think too much about spending money even when they do not have so much money. If anyone thinks that Barcelona does not have a financial crisis right now, they are wrong. Barcelona is still in an unfavorable financial situation. I believe they are having a profit of 275 million per season right now. That is not going to be enough for Barcelona to overcome the financial problems that they are in at the moment.

Of course, La Liga is inclined to overlook some irregularities from Barcelona. After all, Barcelona is one of the premier teams that they have got. If they just take Barcelona out of the equation, Real Madrid are going to be champions of La Liga almost every time.
1238  Economy / Economics / Re: How we survive food shortages on: February 27, 2023, 03:20:38 AM
There will be zero consumption of natural foods in this generation, because even if you're growing your own crops, it's inevitable not to spray something to it, to avoid being destroyed by bugs.

Depending on where you live, I live in the countryside and my family grows our own raw vegetables, we don't use any pesticides. In reality, it is true that when we do not use fertilizers and growth drugs, the yield will not be as high, but in return, it is clean and healthy.
What I fear is that the original cultivars are fading away and being replaced by genetically modified cultivars that give good yields but are not as good as the original cultivars. Most of the cultivars on the market today are genetically modified.

Hi @YoSHIE , many new crypto fan boys believed that stable coins are better than Fiat money, I have read this many times online and people in my country that are new to crypto also believe the same.

I agree with you. I am not denying that fiat currency is depreciating every day, but to say crypto replacing fiat is something that will never happen. Fiat will remain king, will remain the measure of all other assets, and we will never separate our lives from it. I disagree with many people that, they still use fiat every day, but they go on social networks to smear about fiat, saying fiat is trash, I really don't know what kind of person they are. I am a crypto investor, I still hope crypto will grow further in the future, but I don't want to badmouth fiat because I still need it for my life.
1240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 26, 2023, 08:07:42 PM
Barcelona took the first shot on goal in the 80th minute. After this minute, Barcelona came a few more times, but they could not find the only goal they were looking for. With this defeat, the difference between Real Madrid and Barcelona fell to seven. This defeat, while Barcelona seems relieved, assuming that they were eliminated from UEFA. The results on paper started not going well for the targets. It is really interesting that such a strong offensive team could not shoot a single accurate shot into the goal until the eighty minute.
very much surprised after I saw the result of this game and I have no idea how this happened to Barcelona today Almeria is on the 15th of the table and they couldn't bear Barcelona normally, during this season Barcelona just lost one game and maybe the reason of why they lost this game is the last game they had against Manchester United which had the bad effect of the team atmosphere.

Very surprisingly, Barcelona lost the match against Almeria. The deadlock was broken in the 24th minute of the match. And that was the only goal scored in this match. Barcelona had a lot of chances to go ahead in this match, not only level the score. But Barcelona was unable to actually capitalize on those chances. It was actually a little disappointing to see Robert Lewandowski not having any effect in this match. At least from the scoring standpoint. He needs to score for Barcelona to be successful.
