701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Half of the People in Turkey Now Own Crypto on: September 04, 2023, 02:42:08 AM
This statistics is BS, Turkey is a country of over 85m people, and you ask just 500 people what their opinion of crypto is, and you use that to draw conclusion that half of the people in Turkey now own crypto. Kucoin are probably doing this to atract attention to themselves, it has to be some sort of marketing strategy.

It is difficult to get statistics on the number of people using crypto in a particular region, but this one is a very weak attempt that does not in anyway paint the actual picture, Kucoin is just picking numbers out of a hat and making an exaggerated conclusion.
Inferences about a population can be done with statistics and a very low amount of people being subjected to a survey, however it is obvious there is something wrong, one of the most common mistakes when making a survey is the bias when it comes to selecting the group that is bound to be subjected to the survey.

So it is clear to me there was a huge bias on the survey and they interviewed people that had a greater probability of being invested in this market, as there is no way those numbers are correct.

It is possible that this survey is biased and the data inaccurate, but reports that Turkish citizens are using cryptocurrencies to a high degree are not new news. Because as we know, Türkiye has an extremely high inflation rate when the government has anti-inflation policies like no other. If I remember correctly, their president chose to lower interest rates to prevent inflation, this is considered a contrary idea compared to other countries and they failed to prevent inflation. As we have also seen in countries with high inflation such as Argentina, Brazil...the trend of using cryptocurrency is increasing. So, don't be surprised that Türkiye is also among the countries with high cryptocurrency usage.

Right, cryptocurrencies are growing very strongly in Turkey and this has been known for a long time, it is no longer new. I just looked back at an article I read last year and it also pointed out that cryptocurrencies are thriving in Turkey. Inflation in Turkey sometimes exceeds 80% and it is understandable that people are looking for a solution against inflation.

It can be said that cryptocurrency is considered a financial game by many people, but in countries with high inflation, bitcoin and cryptocurrency are being considered the only savior.

Chelsea must have spent around 450 million euros for transfers this summer. However for now there are still serious issues to be seen. Their start to the season isn't impressive at all. They lost to Nottingham home today shockingly. Will we really see a similar scenario this season? Because they spent a lot of money last summer also but the result of it wasn't positive.

It is early to talk about such things of course. However I'm worried about their future games already as I have seen this bad scenario before.

I hope the team improve their effort as soon as possible. Nkunku's absence is felt so much. Jackson signing hasn't been beneficial for Chelsea yet.
Chelsea cannot save money in every transfer window. Where they also did crazy things in last season's transfer window and this continues in this summer's transfer window. I think they are taking a big gamble by buying players with high price tags but their abilities haven't been tested enough so far.

Chelsea even released some of their best players this season, such as Pulisic, where he showed impressive quality with AC Milan and also a number of other high-quality players who were released by Chelsea. Well, Chelsea have just reaped bad results after they were beaten in front of their supporters. It is quite difficult to imagine their fate this season, the players are increasingly under pressure and their new coach has not been successful enough so far.
Personally I don't expect a instant turn around of Chelsea by Pochettino unfortunately many of their fans wanted an immediate impact and positive result having considered £450m spent on signing new players this season, I think Pochettino should be given enough time to rebuild the team of course they have some prospects and promising talented young players in their squad, Sterling, Chilwell and Tiago Silva were the old and experience players in the squad therefore it's going to take time for the new signings to be integrated into team, of course they team isn't playing badly unfortunately luck isn't on their side in some of the matches they had played and their final third has been very wasteful in front of goal.

The way every club is spending right now they should give instant results to be honest. Chelsea is spending a lot of money. I know that is not how it works. A coach definitely needs time to actually find the best tactics for any team. But with the amount of money they are spending, the team should be performing really well by default.

I am pretty sure that if a good coach like Zidane or maybe even Guardiola actually got the chance to manage Chelsea, they would have done a better job in my opinion. I am still going to blame the coach if with this much options and money, they cannot win matches, they are definitely just wasting money.
703  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 03, 2023, 01:10:08 PM
Prices here in the United States for groceries (food/drinks/etc) skyrocketed about a year ago or so now where we had a 40 year high in the rate of inflation, in particular food was his about as hard as anything. Certain “sectors” of food such a seafood were often up as high as 80% from their year before sale price.  Since inflation has started to come back down a bit, prices have also fallen a bit, but they are certainly not back to “normal”, nor do I think they ever will be.
As far as I know about inflation that rises high and then pressed so that it is simpler, on average from the case of inflation will not return to normal positions, there are some external cases that can make the price remain expensive even though inflation has been sent down, namely one of them is a trader Retail which is directly in the mechanism of meeting with consumers, they want to get a profit that is more than the decline in purchase prices after price increases. Although basically inflation has dropped normally from the total, retail traders or traders who come in direct contact with consumers different from the story, they will take advantage of this kind of momentum to increase massive income from low purchases and sales at high prices, which results in price increases still ongoing and not back to normal.

I have read some hypothesis and the question is has inflation really decreased and is it really only 5% or 6% as announced by the government or is it actually much higher? So even though the government claims inflation is under very good control, but in reality it is not. And if your hypothesis is correct, retailers deliberately do not want to reduce prices, which further shows that there are group interests behind it. It seems that the market price management agency is deliberately turning a blind eye, allowing traders to manipulate prices, causing damage to consumers.

Kolo Muani transferred to PSG for 90 million Euro. It's discussed whether this player is worth that much money, but he performed very well last season. He's shown among the stars of the future. He can do with PSG what he did with Eintracht Frankfurt. After all, there is not a big difference between the German league and the French league. PSG did a very good job in my opinion. They have made a very important transfer for the next 5 seasons. PSG needed to make such a transfer after losing their stars. Now we look forward to seeing how he will fit in with Mbappe.
Kolo Muani is a striker who also has a good executor and feeder mentality, I think it will be a pretty interesting duet with Mbappe, with a note that Mbappe does not feel competed with the presence of Muani to get him in the attacker's position, because if you look at some of the game moments the game is done Muani according to me was very good, and to be honest the market value of Kolo Muani was 80M, but it seems that PSG took a safer step by raising the price, there might be some teams that have bid in the bid price so that PSG dares to raise prices for Kolo.

How to class between the Bundes League and the French League does not have a distance difference, so I think it will also be good enough for Kolo Muan to develop faster in the Francis League with a team that is already very strong in the league, the departure of mega stars is certainly a heavy blow But they are more able to secure a lot of money.

I don’t think Kolo Muani is going to find it difficult to get that with his new club. I know that the current situation of PSG is not very good. But he is definitely a player who has the capability right now to be able to handle the pressure that will be put on him.

I also agree that Mbappé definitely does not feel at all threatened by his presence, even though both of them are players who play in the same position, centre forward. I think they are going to make him transition to be a winger so that he can actually help Mbappé. Of course, I don’t know that for sure. But they are definitely not going to make Mbappé transition to another position right?a
705  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin or having USD in bank on: September 02, 2023, 04:28:13 AM
For the citizens that are in those countries, if they are really open to Bitcoin, then I think it's better to put their money in Bitcoin because if the price of Bitcoin starts to recover, then that's going to add value to their asset. You can trade to USDt if you want and only if you want to use the money, but if you don't want to use the money, then it's better to hold it in Bitcoin, or since your country's currency is depreciating in value, you can just trade to USDt and also convert it to your local currency when you wish to use the money.

But what will happen to them if bitcoin does not recover and continues to fall further? We have no certainty about bitcoin's future.

Regarding choosing USD and stablecoin, I still think USD is much safer than stablecoin. There have been many cases of stablecoins losing their pegs and it shows that they are not as secure as we thought. Even USDT, the largest stablecoin, sometimes loses its stability temporarily, it can be said that bad things can happen to stablecoins at any time.

Bitcoin will be the best choice to put some money into long-term investment. In terms of savings, using USD is a safer option than local currency or stablecoins.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 02, 2023, 04:21:02 AM
One thing you need to know is, although the past has shown us that halvings always bring us a bull market and bitcoin will hit a new ATH. But there is no guarantee that history will repeat itself and bitcoin will definitely still make new ATH to bring us profit. So investing all in bitcoin just because the halving is approaching, I don't think it's a good idea. If someone has a lot of money, diversification should still be maintained because the future is unpredictable. As for me, I'm not that rich and I'm still making a trade-off to just focus on bitcoin even if we don't have a halving.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can Bitcoin provide food for our table on: September 01, 2023, 12:28:25 PM
Despite not being accepted as payment at markets or food stores, Bitcoin can be traded for the local currency in any nation that accepts it. In conclusion, it is accurate to say that Bitcoin can be used to purchase food. Bitcoin is referred to as a digital or peer-to-peer currency for this reason.

In addition, the fact that these professional traders are successful in their line of work shows that Bitcoin is not just used in the food industry. Other merchant businesses accept Bitcoin as payment for their goods directly, and some restaurants even do so.

I think OP didn't mention bitcoin is used as currency to buy food or other products. I think what he's talking about is whether bitcoin can bring us income. It seems like he is mentioning bitcoin investing and trading as a main job that can meet his daily needs. If that was his intention then I think it was a bad idea. Income from bitcoin is unstable so relying solely on it is like pushing yourself to a standstill. We should have a steady income job before thinking about investing in bitcoin. Bitcoin may provide the food on the table for us, but it will not guarantee and cannot be compared to a job with a steady income.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: presuring someone into Bitcoin investment on: September 01, 2023, 12:11:09 PM
If the story is true then I don't know why people like them think that forcing someone to invest  on bitcoin is really necessary. Since if they showing some interest about bitcoins they are the one approach you and ask something related with this topic. But if they didn't show some interest about it then best to let them what they want and if they didn't like the idea about bitcoin since they think its a scam then let them think about that. Focus on your growth instead of disturbing people and push them to like your idea.
I think if the person asks you about it then you should help them, but if nobody asked you about then you shouldn't really pressure them into talking about it.

For example, if someone comes in and asks you where they can buy bitcoin from, then you have a right to reply to them and that makes sense, but if they come in and ask you how you are doing, and you start talking about how bitcoin has been low lately and you are excited about getting more so that it would go up back to where it was and all that, suddenly you are promoting bitcoin to someone who doesn't want to hear it. That's why it is important and you should not be doing that. Just talk to people who are already willing to talk about it, otherwise do not do it.

But sometimes there will be people who want to learn about bitcoin but are afraid to ask, what should we do? In my opinion, it is not a bad thing for us to mention bitcoin first or automatically introduce it to people first, especially to our relatives. But one thing is that we should try to observe them, if they are interested in our story then we should continue. And if they show no interest, we should stop. Introducing bitcoin is not necessarily bad, but never force them to like our idea if they don't like it.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 01, 2023, 09:26:35 AM
Mbappe is very close to signing a new contract with PSG until 2026. This Player wanted to leave PSG for free in the next season but since he is under pressure and PSG wants to extend his offer with him, It seems Mbappe wants to extend his contract with PSG until 2026 but in the new contract there is a chance for this palter to leave in the next summer.

https://www.goal.com/en/news/kylian-mbappe-psg-contract-until-2026-special-real-madrid-clause/bltd287166a007c9123

Mbappe's decisions are not right, he may not know when to make a decision and how to stick to that decision. If the extension of the contract with PSG, then why the trouble with PSG at the beginning of the transfer market. Rumors were rife that Mbappe would definitely not extend his contract with PSG next season and that he would leave PSG as a free agent and then the next club would be Real Madrid. If Mbappe extends his contract with PSG until 2026 and if there is any talk of a deal with Mbappe at Real Madrid, then Real Madrid could be tricked by Mbappe once again as we have seen Mbappe open up the possibility of a deal with Real Madrid in the previous few seasons. In the end, this French star did not complete the contract with Real Madrid. Whether Mbappe extends his contract with PSG or Mbappe leaves PSG at the end of the season is a matter of time.

Well, I think now, whoever actually wants to get him, has to pay a good amount of money. Otherwise, they are not going to be able to get him. And I am sure that no club is actually going to want to wait for three years to get to him. By that time, he might not even perform the same.

So I will have to say that he is definitely pressured him enough to make this decision.  I think this situation might have been avoided by Mbappé if he had been upfront about his wish. He was not sure what he wanted to do. And that's how PSG actually took advantage of him. And obviously I cannot blame PSG for that. They had to make money off him.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 01, 2023, 08:24:49 AM
Dortmund is just trying to adjust the new roster, nothing more. When they do, they will start winning games easily again, not like they went 34 wins in 34 games last year, they had some losses and draws, this is the same as last year basically.

We wouldn't know when they will start to dominate lower level teams but it could be any game now, and that is why it should be possible for us to bet on their win. Of course I do not suggest people to bet on what I say, I have lost a lot of money on betting before and I still lose probably everyday, which means that I am not someone to listen to, I just wanted to share my own thoughts on the subject but that is in no way or shape a reason to follow what I said about it.
You're right though i feel they're having a tough time trying to adjust to this new season and when they finally do we'll start seeing them winning games again and moreover the season just started so i believe before it gets to the middle of the season they'll be back into form and challenge Bayern Munich just they did last season and almost won the league

The only clubs i can comfortably bet on currently is in the Bundesliga are Bayern Munich, Union Berlin and Maybe Dortmund because so far Dortmund have not lost any matches they won 1 and drew another one and i think they'll comfortably win their next match against Heidenheim tomorrow, because they've got a better squad would be playing from home which gives them more advantage.

They have been pretty inconsistent. To fix that they brought in some players. But I don’t know if they will be able to fix the problem with the players that they have brought in. They are still nowhere near the strength that Bayern Munich possesses. They are quite comparable with the other clubs. Some people will even say that they are actually better compared to the other clubs. But they are pretty inconsistent and that’s why they end up losing and dropping points against those clubs. It is hard to imagine Dortmund actually winning the Bundesliga title. Because they are just interested in selling players for profit. That is the model of their business. So how can they win trophies?

Anyway, they have brought in some players. Let’s see how they perform as a team.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: People keep talking how weak dollar and how bad usa economy getting on: August 31, 2023, 02:12:43 PM
I admit I'm not a fan of the US, but I'm not a fan of China or Russia either. But I prefer a multipolar and fairer world, in which all countries can develop and compete fairly, rather than being controlled and oppressed by a single power.
Nobody likes any of them. They have a bad history specially US and Russia with all their wars, invasions and genocides. Interestingly enough most of the world also feels the same way about the New World Order (multipolar world). In fact a couple of months ago I was reading what one of those thinktanks in Washington had published about their fears of dedollarisation and in there they argued that rules of majority of the countries in the world see the New World Order as an opportunity to become stronger. And today we are seeing that happening specially in Africa as more nations fight for liberation.

People who love the US, and like an authoritarian world always say that a weakening dollar is impossible and there is no new world order. They are just trying to deny the truth, they don't want to accept what is happening. Indeed, de-dollarization is no longer a theory but is becoming stronger than ever. I am really waiting for a new world order, a fairer world for all countries.

A new world order is being formed and we should accept what is happening.

By the way, the recent coups in Africa are sure to be bloody and cause heavy damage. But in the long run I think it's good for them, I always have one question, most of those countries are French colonies. But why after all these years have they not made any significant progress for their country? Are they working but they are not the ones enjoying the results?

I found this photo from a fanpage advocating freedom for Africa. It's worth thinking about.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO WE TRANSFER BITCOIN WEALTH TO HEIRS AND THE NEXT GENERATION on: August 31, 2023, 01:40:11 PM
The only way to do this is by sharing your private key with someone very trusted or just storing it somewhere secure and keeping it locked until the time comes. The way to retrieve your valuables from the lock/vault can be specified on your will. Maybe be use a bank value to store your private keys on the paper wallet. Two parts on two different banks? That way there is lower chance of your keys getting compromised. And I am sure there are other people that have found out better ways to giveaway your wealth to your heirs. Maybe a quick google might help.

I also met some people who suggested this method but I also wondered a lot about this method. Because the purpose of using bitcoin is because we do not want to depend on banks or any third parties. Meanwhile, if we split the seed phase and put it in 2 or more banks, it's like we are giving our assets to them to hold on our behalf once again. In this case, I would rather trust my loved ones like my parents or wife than trust the bank or the government again.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 31, 2023, 11:43:20 AM
Fenerbahce are once again in the midst of a busy transfer window. Fenerbahce are likely to sign Alfredo Morelos, former teammate of Ryan Kent from Rangers. Fenerbahce, in need of a striker in case Michy Batshuayi leaves, are planning to replace Batshuayi with Morelos. The player arrived in Istanbul yesterday to speed up transfer talks. In case of his possible transfer to Fenerbahce, I don't think there is anyone who doesn't think like me that he and his former teammate Ryan Kent will be a good fit together. Apart from the transfer of these two players, Crespo is also expected to leave the team. Fenerbahçe, who will not pay Morelos a fee, plans to buy a number "6" player with the fee money from both Crespo and Batshuayi. This is likely to be Arsenal's Thomas Partey.

Fenerbahce is definitely very busy in the transfer market. They are definitely trying to bring in good changes in the squad. But if the changes are going to be good or not, we will find out later.

Alfredo Morelos has shown decent performance in recent times. But I don’t know if replacing Batshuayi with him is going to be a good idea or not. I am pretty skeptical about this decision.

I am actually really interested to see how much money they are going to spend on Thomas Partey. He is already 30 years old. I believe he has been approached by a few clubs already. But I heard that he was not sure if he was going to move out from Arsenal or not. That’s what I have heard but I could definitely be wrong.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 31, 2023, 12:41:32 AM
Galatasaray was very lucky against Molde. The penalty that Icard won was a good turning point for Galatasaray, maybe the match would have been very difficult if it hadn't been for this penalty. Even if Galatasaray won in the first match, the victory would not have been so easy if Galatasaray had not scored early in the match played yesterday. Galatasaray has a good vibe for now. Icardi smashes in almost every match. Galatasaray can bring itself to a higher level in Europe with the transfer of a solid defender. Them need a some luck in the group stages.

I was actually not very worried about Galatasaray. Because first of all, they had the advantage from the first leg. But yes, in the second leg, it was a little close for comfort to be honest. And I will definitely say that in that second leg, they were definitely a little lucky to win. But at the end of the day, they are not going to complain about how they are winning. The only thing that will matter is that they are winning. This is just the playoff in the Champions League competition though. A lot more harder competition is waiting ahead of them. I hope they will be able to perform well in those matches.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your reasons for adopting cryptocurrency? on: August 30, 2023, 01:18:19 PM
My reason for adopting Bitcoin and not any other cryptocurrencies is the fear of missing out. I'm not gonna lie. Bitcoin is such a great project backed by technological, financial, and social principles that I fear that of I miss out on this my future generation will end up poor. Another level of the fear of missing out that drove me to adopt Bitcoin is the fear of missing out on something so revolutionary that even the government of the world don't really know what to make of it. While in the beginning some where quick to condemn it, they are now slowly coming in to embrace it even though they are hiding behind big financial institutions, we know that it's still them.

The fact that anyone would not want to miss out on looking at what transpired during the previous bull run struck my interest the most. The enhancements were significant, and many people profited handsomely from the circumstances. Aside from the fact that Bitcoin has a ton of financial advantages, not everyone can actually handle the entire process of being patient and holding. I don't think Bitcoin is the only way to make money because there are a ton of people who don't use Bitcoin but still make good money, and Another thing is the fact that you still need money to invest, it all in plans been drafted out, if there is not enough money then accumulating gradually won't be a bad idea at all, over time the government won't have a choice but to actually embrace i has you said.

Yes, a lot of billionaires and millionaires in the world do not invest in bitcoin and it is not wrong to say that Bitcoin is not the only way to make money. But you need to admit that investing in bitcoin gives us a bigger opportunity because its volatility and growth are surpassing all other investments, and many will say that high return comes with high risk but it is worth the risk and trade-off.

Furthermore, I know profits aren't the only reason we choose bitcoin, but profits may be the biggest reason we choose it over gold or stocks.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO WE TRANSFER BITCOIN WEALTH TO HEIRS AND THE NEXT GENERATION on: August 30, 2023, 01:01:16 PM

snip

I read that mate and don't get me wrong because I've also done that option before but when there are some conditions that I said in my writing before this I prefer to avoid that because at the end of the day it's just going to be your backup about the seed that you wrote in the notes right?
I'd rather go for the traditional option of backing up my notes than storing them on a flashdrive but what you're saying isn't wrong either because you're doing a good thing by looking for multiple options with your backups.
At the end of the day it's just about going back to your own choices.

Thank you for your suggestions, I will re-evaluate my storage method carefully. I like everyone here, am trying to find the best solution to ensure the safety of my bitcoins. Therefore, I am willing to listen to everyone's opinions to find the best method.
USB storage is my new go-to in recent years, and with the traditional option for backing up my notes, I did that before learning about bitcoin, and it actually still works pretty well, as you said. It cannot be denied that this is still the method being used by many people.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO WE TRANSFER BITCOIN WEALTH TO HEIRS AND THE NEXT GENERATION on: August 28, 2023, 08:10:14 AM
Coincidentally, I am also using this method. While I know this isn't the safest solution for many people, it's the safest for me and I haven't had any problems in years. I also write information such as seed phrase, password, private key...in the notebook. But that is really dangerous because the paper is quite fragile and easily destroyed, I then bought 3 USBs for backup to ensure the safety of my information. Of course, teaching my loved ones how to use them is indispensable. But I want to add a little more about how to store our phrase. We should take the time to check USB periodically because we all know electronic devices have a lifespan and can fail at any time. Periodic inspection and timely replacement are very important.
By the way, I also just tested them and they are ok  Grin Grin.

That's one option that can be done but like you said not everyone can accept that as a safe way including me because I still feel that storing in a USB sometimes we have to prepare for the worst where it could be corrupted which makes the data lost so even though it can be done but there must be a backup of the seed that we created.
I personally still like the old-fashioned way where I still write in my notebook and store it in a place that only I can access it (At least for now) but I have told my closest family about my bitcoin storage just for access I still hold back on it and it's enough just for myself for now.
You didn't read carefully what I said, mate. I write all the information in my notebook and keep it in a safe place, and the USB is just my backup. And as I mentioned, electronic equipment has a lifespan and needs to be checked periodically and if it is too old or damaged we can replace it immediately.

Coincidentally, I am also using this method. While I know this isn't the safest solution for many people, it's the safest for me and I haven't had any problems in years.

Buddy this is one of the worst idea in my own perspective and i wouldnt advise anyone to do so or even bring it up such a suggestion. What you had to misplace the drive or perhaps it got damaged by fall or accident. How would you pass it on to your heirs?

Please re-read what I write, I still store all the seed phrases, private keys, and passwords in my notebook. I also understand the risks of electronic devices, I do not trust them completely.

718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO WE TRANSFER BITCOIN WEALTH TO HEIRS AND THE NEXT GENERATION on: August 27, 2023, 08:02:49 AM
Initially, I recorded all my crypto wallet information in a physical notebook. My intention is to educate my future generations about cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, ensuring that when they possess sufficient knowledge, they can access and recover the assets I've set aside for them. It seems like the most effective method to pass on my crypto assets to the next generation.

I believe it is the right approach to record all information related to our wallets in a physical note book, and I have also chosen the same method to secure my keys, because I don't prefer to save such crucial information on electronic devices.

Moreover, it is essential to provide our children with solid understanding of Bitcoin and its underlying technology so that they can explore optimum benefits from these digital assets that we will pass down to them. This ground will enable them to take optimum advantages of this digital assets that we intend to pass on to them.
I have considered out on writing or printing my PK on a paper or be written up but i do have that kind of fear that i might really loss it or when the time comes that ink would definitely be faded out on the time that you might
passed away.  Cheesy This is why i have decided that i do make out back ups on my own USB with having that having a lock and not just on single flashdrive but rather having 3 as sort of back up. For now then im telling them about the basic principles of crypto and on how to make recoveries or on how private key works on unlocking a certain wallet. So far they do understood it out specially with my wife which it isnt really that hard to understand since you are really just that explaining them about on how to access and on how to make out conversions to real fiat. So that on the time that you would be passing away then those coins wont really be put up
to waste since they could really be able to access it out and make use of those funds that you had been working so hard. For now im not stressing out myself on what would be my ending but rather im focusing on
accumulating for for the sake of my family in terms of the money that they could be able to make use off specially into my children. We know that life is unpredictable and there's no way that we could tell
on when we would be passing away.
Coincidentally, I am also using this method. While I know this isn't the safest solution for many people, it's the safest for me and I haven't had any problems in years. I also record information such as seed phrase, password, private key...in the notebook.

Exactly. Luxury expenses should already be out of the window if you are already aware that your lifestyle isn't fit for that. Sometimes just having the thought of luxury is a bad temptation, because most of the time, thinking about it drives you to actually spend for it. Instead, it is better to focus on investment and savings that will have a higher chance to cause better effects on our financial status and lifestyle.
Yep, true. Although I would argue sometimes that people might need a "little" things to enjoy life. Having to work over and over and not enjoy a little portion of it might hurt some people's mind in the long-term considering that they're just like "live to work" rather than "work to live".

As long as you have something to pay your bills in the upcoming months, it wouldn't hurt to somehow "enjoy little things".

Although we should get rid of luxuries if they are beyond our ability to spend and should focus on saving as well as investing. But we should also not be too stingy with ourselves, we should also take out a little to reward ourselves and enjoy life. Because we only live once in life and should know how to cherish it, don't be forever passionate about chasing money to death without using it. Money is very important, but if we lose it, we can also get it back, but there are things in life that when lost are difficult to get back, so enjoy life but it must be in moderation and accordance with your ability our finances.
720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go above $30,000? on: August 26, 2023, 02:09:06 PM
Surely everyone is optimistic that the price will soon pass $ 30k, in my opinion the question is when $ 30k can happen? If you see the current situation, it is certainly very difficult to see Bitcoin can pass $ 30K, it is proven that the price since March which can reach $ 30k and then go down again as it is happening now.
The price drop from $30K to $26K is a price drop that falls into the normal category and not a very large number price drop in Bitcoin, so the price of $30K is still possible to be reached and even surpassed by Bitcoin again this year because of the move and the time that Bitcoin has to go from $26K to $30K isn't going to be that far although it doesn't look like it will be easier, but I'm still pretty sure that $30K can still be surpassed by Bitcoin before entering next year and I think you still have a very good feeling optimistic about it.

Any movements of price, high or low are all normal. With how volatile Bitcoin is it's not gonna be a surprise if it all fall or pump a couple of thousand dollars in just 1 day.
As we are closely approaching to the bitcoin halving where everyone are anticipating for another bull season, this is where FUDs comes in, people who's trying to drag the price down so they can accumulate more at a lower price - so, it's not gonna be a surprise as well if there's  several negative news that surface and could potentially affect the price, we should already get used to it especially when you're here in crypto space for quite some time already.

I also think that as the halving gets closer, the more excited people get, the more Fuds will be spread. Their aim is to freak us out and sell them cheap bitcoins. Therefore, we must be extremely vigilant as the halving event is only a few months away. Moreover, if bitcoin dumping is even more severe then there is nothing to fear and instead take the last chance to buy bitcoin cheaply. We have come a long way in the harsh bear season, we should not give up when the destination is in sight.
