Manchester City is now very close and I'm sure Arsenal won't be able to breathe easily again. But I so much pity Manchester city, They seem to be very serious and are making positive moves to overthrow the gunners from the leading position. I just pray their penalty for the financial crime is extended maybe till next season if found guilty so that the fight for the EPL title will continue to be interesting. It has been decades since Arsenal went this far in EPL standing and I know they will not let go of this golden opportunity of winning the title.
Im sure that the bad history of arsenal will be repeating again by getting so many loses at the end of season. I have been watching arsenal so many times. The performance of this club become very inconsistent once arsenal will be facing EPL team again at the end of season. This has been known so well by anyone who were actively watching premier league. that's why arsenal was never winning EPL since a decade ago.
Arsenal is always having problem to be consistent until it was reaching the safe position to lock the title. I remember when arsenal was dominating the league like this time but another team was winning the title caused by arsenal got lose streak at the end of season. If sanction for manchester city can be delayed and this gonna help city to win its EPL trophy again.
By the way, the next match will be Arsenal v Manchester City, so there's no need to wait long to prove which team is stronger. Because if Manchester City can beat Arsenal, then I believe Manchester City will be able to maintain their top position in the Premier League standings.
But if Arsenal win and even though it will make the points gap better but still, I personally would doubt Arsenal to be able to maintain their top position in the Premier League table.
Therefore, if Manchester City does not receive any punishment from this case, then I will still believe that Manchester City has a chance to win the title. But if from the case that happened to Manchester City and then Manchester City received a penalty whether it was a point deduction and/or relegation, then of course it would be a big loss for Manchester City.

I think we need to remember that Arsenal have played one match less than Manchester City and still have an advantage of three points.

So, if Arsenal can win the next match, Arsenal and Manchester City will be equal in terms of matches played and Arsenal will have six points advantage.

However, Arsenal's current performance isn't encouraging. They lost points in the last match and lost the match before that. So, if they cannot win the next match, I think they might actually be in trouble. I still believe that Arsenal has what it takes not to choke again.

1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 13, 2023, 09:02:48 AM
^^^ But that's the point. You can't easily steal someone else's bitcoins, even if you shoot the guy dead.
...

But well we know that there are cases with torturing to get bitcoins. And unfortunately no one knows that you don't have millions, they will torture for long expecting to get sometimes even what you don't have. So I'd prefer that others know that I don't have that much! But if I will go to the meetings just to say that I'm a beggar that would be suspicious: who will believe the one attending bitcoin meetings and saying he has nothing? Grin

This not only happens when you own bitcoin, if you have a lot of money and brag, you will also still be attacked by robbers. In this case, I find bitcoin more secure, I don't think the robbers know about bitcoin. They are addicts, I don't believe they take the trouble to update technology news daily to serve their theft. The area I live in has never heard of any bitcoin-related robbery, what they need is cash, phone, gold...I also don't like talking about bitcoin in public, simply because I like it private.
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: February 13, 2023, 08:28:09 AM
I'm wondering what does everyone think about gold price in the long term, specially in coming year or two as the conflicts get worse and more economies crash which would push regular people to invest in gold and more governments to start increasing their gold reserves on larger scale.

In my opinion is the era of gold over, because it's not the safe haven anymore everybody thought it would be. In the past gold was viewed upon as the main commodity to keep it's value during a crisis. For my parents and grand parents is was normal to store some of their money in gold. For them it was the best hedge against inflation on which they could always count on. But now we are seeing that it's not true anymore, over the last 12 months we reached an inflation of 10% and still the gold price dropped 8% in the same time. More and more investors are going to realise this and will lose their interest in gold long term. That is why I don't think the price of gold is going to rise long term. There is still a lot of demand for gold in the production sector and for jewelry, that will keep the gold price around the 1500 USD level. But the investors are going to reduce their gold holding long term and together with higher inflation it's not going to be a profitable trade.
Even though the Gold era is over, I think gold will be one of the best choices for standardizing value in any case. If you look at it from a price point of view, I think it's a reasonable thing because it can be influenced by supply and demand in the market, the percentage of inflation. the gold that you showed me I think it is a normal and good calculation during the crisis. At this time maybe many investors have switched their investments from gold because it is boring and takes too long to take profits, I think maybe the trend this time for gold has decreased but who knows going forward as bankers and governments rush to buy gold for a better hedge because until today gold remains valuable in everyone's eyes and what is likely to happen is that the precious metal will increase in price drastically when no currency can believed again.

Gold is still there, still a top priority asset, and never out of hot. In the past year, countries taking advantage of the economic crisis have hoarded gold in large quantities, it can be said that gold is still considered a top priority asset of the national reserve budget. Just because we don't invest in gold doesn't mean it's obsolete or that no one needs it anymore. We invest in bitcoin because we don't have too much money, and we want to find a get rich quick investment, it's true. As for gold, it's for larger investors, when you buy a small amount, the profit will not be significant, but if you trade with a large amount, the profit is not small.

The on going match between Fultham vs Nottingham Forest  live in Craven Cottage Stadium, London, England.
Fulham is in control of the game and there keeper is good as well. Fultham has scored 1 goal in the first half and now they are on the second half and Nottingham Forest is playing very well in the second half. They have played 83 minutes with 1 goal to nil. The match is interesting. Nottingham Forest missed their free kick.
The match ended in win of Fulham 2-0
Manor Solomon's goal in the 88th minute sealed Fulham's win today

Arsenal's Premier League top team today had unsatisfactory results, Arsenal, who played in front of their supporters, failed to get full points today because Brentford successfully hold a draw until the match end

Besides that, there is also the Leicester City vs Tottenham match
Antonio Conte's troops had to admit defeat to Leicester today with a score of 4-1

Yahh, Fulham won the match against Nottingham Forest, this was honestly kind of expected. Because Nottingham Forest has not played well at all this season. And compared to Nottingham Forest, Fulham has played a lot better this season. So I think this is an expected result for almost everyone. Now Fulham is in the 7th position of the table by sharing the same points with Brighton (35 pts). And Nottingham Forest is in the 14th position sharing points with Leicester City (24pts).

1285  Economy / Economics / Re: The fear of global recession is real or just a speculation? on: February 12, 2023, 02:41:00 PM
There is much discussion in both the print and electronic media regarding the probability of global recession as a consequence of ongoing war in Ukraine, but I think unlikely to happen any time soon, even if it does, it is expected to be less severe than recession in 2007, as global GDP is still growing albeit at a slow rate. The real challenges for policy makers are growing debt, climate change and increasing frequency of natural disasters, such as earthquake, hurricanes and floods, which pose significant risk to world economy. These need to be addressed by global community urgently, in order to ensure a stable and thriving economy.

I guess we're very close to recession at this point. Moreover, I think it's already happening in some countries. I'm not an expert, but from what I have seen/read many countries announced economic growth of 0.something % and some forecasts were also with negative growth.

According to me, we are already in recession, not a prediction anymore, but just the beginning of the recession, not as severe as in 2007, so many people still don't realize it. I really don't believe the government reports, from what I see it makes me feel more clear. The unemployment rate in my country is increasing every day, many people can't afford to spend for living, purchasing power is decreasing markedly. But meanwhile, the government says the economy is showing positive changes.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 12, 2023, 02:28:12 PM
I'm trying to find a decent bounty for last few days and it feels like impossible. As far as I am aware of the Pay depends on your Rank as well which being Highest rank gets paid the highest. Also if someone could suggest me a Bounty i'd really appreciate it.

Honestly, bounties and airdrops are dead, you can't find a bounty campaign and expect them to pay you a decent reward these days. They no longer bring any profit to the participants. The market has changed a lot, and we need to accept reality and find other ways to make money in the market instead of just clinging to old things that are no longer profitable. Earning free money from projects becomes very difficult even if you work hard, I think it is better to find an outside job than think that you will get income from participating in the bounty.
Bounty and airdrops are both of still alive but there are no guarantee that you will get payment. Even i think right now many people’s are participated in the bounties but they will never expect any rewards, it’s really difficult to get payment without escrow payment by manager. Definitely it’s cannot be a permanent job, it’s can be considered a part time work.

It doesn't disappear entirely, but it doesn't give you profits or rewards, it's like they're dead. Participating in campaigns means we spend our time and energy at work without expecting anything in return, which is obviously a waste of our time. Not only bounty campaigns but every job in crypto should not be considered as a main job but just a part time job in your spare time.

In my opinion, find a real job outside to make money, after you have money, invest in bitcoin, so you can both earn from your work and make a profit from the market.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 11, 2023, 03:38:53 PM
Anyone watching the European Cricket T10 tournament, some of the matches looked like fixed ones, the reason i said so is because, i placed a bet on a match between Gozo and Msida Warriors and when i placed the bet Msida was on a winning position as they had plenty of wickets to spare and enough balls and they started to defend rather than rotating the strike and in the final over, first ball went for a six and the rest of the 5 balls Msida Warriors lost 5 wickets and all they need was a single run to win the match and the match ended in a tie and by Golden Ball rule Gozo was adjudged the winner Roll Eyes.
The odds for Gozo to win were off the roof and they somehow magically won in the end, after this i started to watch the rest of the matches and most of them are fishy, the heavy underdog during live bets magically wins in the end .
Matches involving the so called "European" clubs have been under radar for some time. Match fixing was reported at least a dozen times in the last 2 years or so, and I won't be surprised if that was the case on this occasion. The ICC needs to be blamed. In order to give a false perception that cricket is expanding, they made a mockery of eligibility laws and allowed foreigners on tourist visas to represent the national teams in Europe. Asian and African teams with native players are sidelined and fund allocation is being reduced, but the ICC continues to provide big funding to these foreigner teams. Since the players are not the citizens of that particular country, they don't have any motive to play fairly. The only motive is to earn money and now that is evident in these club matches (apart from the national team matches). ICC should be happy. They got guys who are equally greedy about making money.

Actually, these types of matches can be fixed. And a lot of people generally do not follow this European club competition in cricket closely. That's why it is actually easier for a lot of clubs to actually get away with a lot of match-fixing. And not only clubs but a lot of players and umpires are also included in this. And of course, they do not have the motive to play fair cricket. They know very well that they are not going to be a part of any legacy. That's why they just try to make the most money out of it.

1289  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: February 11, 2023, 08:47:53 AM
Keeping money is different from keeping bitcoin, money is stable while bitcoin may rise or fall, bitcoin is risky yet profitable if we are lucky holders a big profit is waiting when we are lucky and btc price rise while it is in our hands, it is about how we understand the risk of crypto if we don't want to take risk then holding btc is not advisable by the expert.
Unfortunately I cannot agree. Fiat money is not stable! Inflation increases every year and money loses more and more purchasing power over time.
This is the case all over the world and some countries are particularly badly affected.  Sad

But when compared to bitcoin, money is much more stable, inflation causes money to depreciate in the long term, and in the short time, you won't see much volatility. For bitcoin, in the short term very volatile and risky, it can be said that it is not safe if you want to hold bitcoin in the short time, but in the long time, bitcoin is a better choice than fiat. Both are good, both have different use cases, so it's not necessary to distinguish which one to keep but allocate accordingly.
1290  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: February 10, 2023, 12:00:23 PM
.... in life sometimes we have to think realistically that happiness is not always measured by money.

Well, I have the opposite thought. Many people still think that money cannot buy happiness and money is not everything, but without money, I bet you, you will never be happy, without money, you will be nothing. Our world today is a pragmatic world, full of intrigue in it. If you don't make money, no girl will choose you, no one in your family respects you, no friends want to play with poorer people than them. We need to accept reality and face it.
1291  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: February 10, 2023, 11:49:13 AM
Wnfortunately we don't know if the current price is a bottom or there is still a chance to go up, we can say this because it has happened, but I think borrowing fiat is a good thing because the potential for bitcoin in the future is getting better, so what I want to say is borrowing money but with a long term payback period, for example 5 years or more.

Usually when you take a loan you have to start your payment nearly immediately and do so until a debt is fully repaid. So most of us would  hardly find a way of borrowing something what can be returned in five years. If there was such an option it would be very attractive for lots of things and crypto was not even in the top of them. But I don't know any place where to get such a loan. Any hints? Cheesy

I don't understand what he means either, but if you take out a loan with collateral, as far as I know, the loan term can be extended up to 3 years. This means we can pay the principal one time, but in those 3 years, we have to pay interest monthly or quarterly, interest must be paid during the term of the loan and principal can be paid on the last day of the loan term. The long-term loan package has a higher interest rate than the short-term loan package. If we do not have a job or a stable source of income, borrowing is extremely risky. In general, you should not borrow money to invest, just use idle money.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 09, 2023, 08:07:58 PM
-snip
Barcelona is a team that is in a more comfortable position compared to Manchester united, they are advancing in the league as they wish, while their closest rivals lose points, they continue to progress by opening up the difference in points. The absence of Dembele does not cause much trouble to Xavi's game, at least there is an alternative that can fill his place. On the one hand, Manchester has to think about the league side, they have a lot of injuries and it will be difficult to replace those players.
If Barcelona was playing in a typical 4-3-3 formation, I think not having Ousmane Dembélé could have been a devastating thing for Barcelona. But we all know that Xavi is always changing up the tactics. He does not rely on a certain formation or tactics in every match. That has been a plus point for Barcelona in the success that they are getting right now

I can't imagine that I'm the only one looking forward to the next encounter between Barcelona and Manchester United. Because of Xavi's game plan and the inclusion of Raphinha, I think Barcelona can get by without Dembele. Manchester United, however, will have a far more difficult time of it owing to the absence of many important players (injuries and Casimero's red card). Getting through these roadblocks and developing a successful approach will be a serious challenge for Ten Hag. I think football fans around will enjoy watching how this plays out
Barcelona versus Manchester United is going to be really interesting. Barcelona has been playing really well this season. Especially after the world cup break. Manchester United has also started performing well recently. So I think in terms of form, neither team is going to be better compared to the other. I think in the end it will come down to which team plays well on that certain day.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 09, 2023, 07:40:30 PM
Today we have last round of warm up matches as women's are preparing for this big event of 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup We have match between India w vs Bangladesh w which was easily won by Indian w after winning the toss Indian's elected to bat first and score a massive target of 183 as Richa Ghosh was player to watch with her amazing hitting all around the ground while she score 92 runs on just 56 balls with the help of 9 sixes which is also interesting for me in reply Bangladesh w able to score just 131 runs and Indian's won this match by big margin of 52 runs.

In another match host country South Africa beat Pakistan in good match while Pakistani women's after winning toss elected to bat first and have good start but still able to score 143 runs with the lost of 5 wickets in reply South African's chase this target in 18.2 over with the lost of 4 wickets Alliya Riaz perform well all-rounder performance for the Pakistan now we have big match on 10 February between India vs Pakistan even we all know what is outcome of this match but still in this format any result is possible.

Officially the tournament will start by tomorrow, with South Africa taking on Sri Lanka. I am not much interested in this tournament, because they have made a mockery of the world cup by including just 10 teams. At least in the T20 format, they could have included a few more teams. India will be one of the favorites, along with hosts South Africa, England and Australia. Last time, India lost out by a whisker, as they were soundly beaten by Australia in the finals. Australia on the other hand, always perform well during the ICC tournaments. They have won the ICC Women' T20 World Cup a total of 5 times (more than any other team).

Well if you think people do not watch these tournaments because there are only a few teams taking part, what do you say about this tournament being played by women? People are already losing interest in men's cricket. And imagine what the situation is going to be when the skill on display is going to be almost nonexistent.

I am not saying these because I just want to hate women's cricket. I am saying these because I think it is time ICC starts realizing that Cricket is not going to survive for a long period of time if nothing changes. Whenever I see a Women cricketer bowling, I think it is "fast bowling in slow motion" lol  Cheesy. And I cannot sit and watch that for hours.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: February 09, 2023, 01:06:58 PM
...There is just one Demerit point and that demerit in your views is also a major +merit point in my views. Market Volatility if you can hold bitcoins then bro it's your direct investment and believe me on hold for a couple of months you can enjoy the huge returns it can ve vice versa but hold is an option loss as well.

Volatility will be very beneficial in investment, we invest in bitcoin because of this special feature of bitcoin. But when it comes to using bitcoin as a means of payment, that volatility is really a demerit because if you can't convert to fiat immediately, then chances are your profits will drop if bitcoin price drops. That will affect revenue as well as make it difficult to manage finance to maintain business operations, as capital is used for business, it cannot be held for a long time but needs to be rotated accordingly.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in bitcoin? on: February 09, 2023, 12:54:00 PM
Personally, I have several reasons why I am interested in bitcoin in particular:

1) bitcoin is protected from inflation - for this purpose, a limited issue of bitcoin and regular halving, during which the commission to miners is halved, are laid down at the program level;
2) bitcoin transactions can be carried out 24/7/365 in any corner of the world where there is an Internet connection;
3) there are no limits on money transfers in the bitcoin payment system;
4) bitcoin transactions are transparent and secure due to blockchain technology.

So, I wish you success. I hope you will be able to understand cryptocurrencies, in particular bitcoin, and make a lot of money.

Maybe someday you'll share it with me when you remember my answer to your question. Grin

You can add some useful features like bitcoin, which can give us full control of our assets without intermediaries or help us to remain anonymous from government surveillance, and you didn't mention your main purpose when investing in bitcoin is the profit that bitcoin can bring. I think that is the most special and important reason for us to enter this risky market.

Our world is entering the stage of digitizing everything and I believe bitcoin is the future, bitcoin is inevitable. It is lucky for us that we know bitcoin very early, so don't miss out on this amazing opportunity.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 08, 2023, 07:40:58 PM
This season they really need better left wing instead of just Ferran Torres or Ansu Fati, they are not in a stable form so Raphinha and Dembele are the players who often fill that position. Then in the last few matches, Dembele, who had problems with his fitness, had to step aside and made Xavi try to play Gavi in that position. The result is good, Barcelona can still win but I don't think it will be good forever because Gavi is a midfielder. Barcelona also still need a right back because now Bellerin has also been sold to Sporting CP, then they played Kounde there but it would be great if there was a player who occupies his main position.

Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati, or Raphinha may not be experienced enough yet. So they don't play consistently well with the team. And missed a lot of easy opportunities. But they are very talented. They will become experienced if they get a chance to play regularly with the team. And will be able to perform better in the future. I would say it is possible to make these players more experienced by giving them a chance in less important matches.

IMO Barcelona needs to focus more on their defense now. Their defense is still weak. Barcelona needs to strengthen their defense if they want to win the title and continue their performance. If the defense is not strong, it is difficult to perform well against giant teams.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 08, 2023, 07:24:18 PM
The internal problems at Manchester City just keeps unveiling themselves this season and they are slowly affecting the performance of the team so far. Manchester city have been failing to maintain consistency in the league this season and if the allegations turn out to be true then Manchester City will have to face a big blow this season, one which could be points deduction or expulsion from the Premier League.

Manchester City started the season well. And they were very strong. Manchester City became even stronger after Haaland was brought into the team. And consistently Manchester City's attacking players were able to play well. But now Manchester City's performance has slowed down a bit. They performed well but dropped points in several matches. At the same time, several weaknesses within the party have become quite visible. And that's why they're a bit behind. Manchester City's points gap with Arsenal continues to widen. At the moment, Manchester City is 5 points behind despite playing one match more than Arsenal.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 08, 2023, 07:20:00 PM
It will be very interesting for 2 teams that are developing significantly Barcelona and Man United to face each other on the gridiron next week. Statistically, if Dembele is absent, it is certainly a big loss because he is a player who plays an important role in building attacks from the wing. However, Man United must also play without Casemiro who is still on a card sanction.
I don't think so, even though in the end Dembele was absent but there are still some players like Raphinha who will indeed be able to fill that position. On the other hand, when looking at some of Barelona's current matches, Xavi always makes some unique attempts, the results are very good, one of which is saving Gavi as a winger, not as an attacking midfielder, and I think this is still worth it.
As for Casimero he received a red card in the EPL and this has nothing to do with the playoffs now, it's just that Manchester United still have several players in doubt due to fitness problems there.

I don't think Barcelona will face too many problems in Dembele's absence. Xavi's match strategy is excellent. So Barcelona will be able to play well even in Dembele's absence. Raphinha will also play as Dembele's replacement. Raphinha may not be as experienced as Dembele but he is a talented enough player. Raphinha looks set to play well in Dembele's absence. Raphinha's performance was good in the last match as well.

Several players in Manchester United's squad will not be able to play due to injuries. And Casimero will miss a match due to a red card. Looking forward to seeing how Ten Hag will strategize without so many key players.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: February 08, 2023, 07:13:59 PM
In the recent outings, Az Alkmaar has disappointed somany bettors that expected a good result from them, the most devastating game is the yesterday game that the played host to Utrecht in the cup match that ended 1:2 in favour of the away team in the extra time, I see some people say that cup matches are not taken serious by some clubs that are major contenders of a particular league, personally I don't see that ideology as a good one because be it cup or league match I see all as a competition that has trophy so relating it to this match Az Alkmaar has under performed, they dashed the hope of many in this game.

I think this season AZ Alkmaar is aiming to do well in the Eredivisie league. And they want to win the Eredivisie league title. Alkmaar is now 2 points behind Feyenoord at the top of the table. And so they now want to focus only on the Eredivisie. But the defeat against Utrecht was unexpected. Utrecht was not a strong team. Even then Alkmaar could not win this match. I would say it was their bad luck. Alkmaar players attacked a lot in this match. Alkmaar players made a total of 27 shots in this match. But their misfortune was that they lost the match despite attacking a lot. Alkmaar lost but their performance was very good.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 06, 2023, 09:43:25 PM
We have too many rules in favour of batting which is also currently having big impact on the game but still things are manageable for the teams but recently as we have results in South Africa these are surely amazing specially in all innings we have good power hitting from the both sides and then in last ODI while Jofra Archer is at his best things settled in their favor which is also good and now with his comeback and performance like this we can expect good changes in England and their performance.

But England still needs to work on their domestic set up which is already well-balanced, but injuries are having serious impact on them and their players career in future now teams with better backup and strong domestic setup will survive and have chance to dominate this game, but we surely need big investments for this all as well.

It is absolutely true that the batting team always gets a lot of rules in favor of them. I can absolutely bet that any genuine cricket fan is going to say that it is never a good match to see both teams absolutely destroy the bowling side. There has to be a balance for everything to be appealing. And I think cricket is losing that balance day by day.

Yes it is great to see someone like Chris Gayle smashing the ball all over the park. But that should not be happening every day. I know that Chris Gayle is retired. I'm just giving an example.
