Looks like they will continue their great run. Although Girona have played one less match and have a one-point gap with Real Madrid, Girona can go to the top of the points table in today's match. Alaves, on the other hand, haven't had the best start to their season, but have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks. But facing Girona will be a tough challenge for them. Girona are clear favorites for me in today's matchup. I think Girona can beat Alaves  win 3-1.

Girona have a good chance of extending their winning record in this match, Alaves are not a big or strong club although we can't underestimate them. But still with what Girona are showing at the moment, it gives an idea of how the match will go later. On the other hand Alaves must realize that the opponent they will face this time is a strong club that is fighting for their position in the tight competition in the top flight.
I also predict that Girona will most likely be able to win this match. Yes they have the ability to do so, especially since they will play the match at their own headquarters. Now they also have a task that will spur them on after Real Madrid who played earlier this week can win their match, Girona must win if they want to return to the top of the table.

Alaves has a poor away record this season and on the other hand the Girona team is in its best form at the moment which of course makes the possibility of Girona winning this match quite big.

But if Girona unfortunately lose a match they will be more points behind Real Madrid which is why I don't think they will be able to overtake Real Madrid later on.

It is a very logical calculation, but Real Madrid and Girona are always only 1-3 points apart, which is not a big problem. Despite dealing with many injuries Real Madrid are still unstoppable in the La Liga. I mean they got a draw against Betis recently of course but I meant not losing a single game for so many weeks. 

This time they played a home game against Villarreal and destroyed them by 4-1. In my opinion, this was one of Real Madrid's best games this season, playing with high pressure from the early minutes. The play between the lines was very solid even though one goal was conceded, but overall I was impressed with Real Madrid's game against Villarreal.

Apart from that, even though Real Madrid doesn't have a classy striker like Benzema, Real Madrid is still productive in scoring goals. That's because of Jude Bellingham. He can play in various positions. No.9, wing midfielder, attack and defense. Luckily, Real Madrid has many players in all positions.

To achieve all that, I think Real Madrid still needs additional players. A minimum of 3 players are needed to fill the team's weaknesses, especially the striker and center back positions for the target of winning the UCL and La Liga.

Modric was ageless and he is always performing so well like his age is always still remain the same anytime. No doubt that if he has become one of player with most contribution in the match against villareal. I must admit that if modric was a gem even though he was old but his performance is always so amazing. It's possible for modric to stay in real madrid till his age will be 40 years old. Yeah he was old but his experience was very useful. As we can see that how real madrid was getting easy win against villareal.

Modric's performance has not yet experienced a noticeable decline. Well, he is still an irreplaceable player in the Real Madrid squad. In fact, he can play better than other young players. But Modric's stamina is actually not as good as when he was younger, of course. In the past he was more aggressive than now. Real Madrid needs to widen the point gap between them and alaves els they will be risking their chances of been the la Liga title, they will only be hoping on getting the champions league.
