1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] nanominer by nanopool (Dual mining on AMD/Nvidia/CPU) on: January 04, 2019, 03:11:33 PM
Getting an error with RTX 2080. Worked fine on same machine with 1070Ti.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ProgPOW coming soon on: January 04, 2019, 03:07:33 PM
I think they will keep kicking the POS can down the road for as long as possible. POS kills coins because miners don't support it. Like it or not, miners keep this whole thing going.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ETHEREUM] [POOL] eth.pp.ua - The Ethereum stable transparent mining pool on: September 06, 2016, 01:13:08 AM
Payouts down significantly the past few days. Wtf is going on?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 22, 2016, 11:39:53 AM
Lol at the rabble. You guys should try building something with all of your time and energy instead of always dumping on things.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 21, 2016, 05:29:01 PM
Just saw the notice on Coinbase so it's official.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: July 11, 2016, 01:57:11 AM
Back to the fact that Bitmain haven't adjusted their prices after the halving is horrendous
I will go back to buying Spondoolies kit to expand my farm if its not rectified, mainly because I know the Spondoolies kit is going to last and its 19in rack mount with make my airflow management like 23.5x easier

Bitcoin mining really has gone to shit hasn't it

Regs alex

EDIT;
Having 300a three phase (3x 300a phase to neutral feeds @240v) FREE and looking at the S9 with FREE ELECTRIC with a ROI of over 18 months (571 days), NOT including the PSU or distribution equipment required to run multiples of these units.

Might just invest my money 100 scratch cards instead to be honest

The price of these should be cut in half.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: June 27, 2016, 02:14:12 AM
Started mining at the beginning of 2015 and am now up to 2.8 th/s. With BTC increasing, adding more hash requires relativity less coin. Hence, I am able to upgrade sooner and more often. Hope the price stays up for a while so I can keep building my mine.

You are high on weed. Have you ROI? You claimed to start from early 2015

Hello all, i invested in GM 66$ in total, last year.
Up untill now i earned 76$ dollars... For such a small investment... I think a year for ROI is fine...

I call bs, your contract would have been cancelled or dust by now.

Code:
Insider trading is the trading of a public company's stock or other securities (such as bonds or stock options) by individuals with access to nonpublic information about the company. In various countries, some kinds of trading based on insider information is illegal. This is because it is seen as unfair to other investors who do not have access to the information, as the investor with insider information could potentially make far larger profits that a typical investor could not make.

What stock are we trading, I am confused.

Are we trading cryptocurrency or stocks.

If we are trading cryptocurrency the only laws that apply are those that have been introduced recently regarding crypto.

is this right?

"A security is a tradable financial asset. "

So, yes, Any judge would rule that ETH is a security of the Ethereum Foundation, as with Slock.it and the DAO.

You can't fuck around will billions of dollars of peoples money and expect people not to notice.

The banks have been waiting for a good excuse to shit all over crypto, and now we just handed it to them on a silver platter.

I always knew greed would kill crypto, no one gave a shit about making crypto adoptable, all they care about is the fiat dollar value they can place on their coin, stupid

Drama queen much?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 22, 2016, 12:00:35 PM
yes, all good, but now the white hat was attacked xD
This shit will never end until they hard fork it!
FORK IT!  FORK IT!

Yes. Hard fork it!

No, no hard fork. DAO should not be rescued because of crappy code.
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: June 22, 2016, 10:39:42 AM
i will eat the charge and never order gear from bitmaintech again .

Hahaha, come on this is a lie! Wait until the next super miner comes out and you'll be there on day one.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Paradox on: June 21, 2016, 12:41:43 PM
I have heard that china is going to make some miners for eth ,
its price is also increasing and thats good to see mining for eth is not a bad idea.

Pretty sure it's been stated that if an ASIC appears they will change it up to kill it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 20, 2016, 08:30:10 PM
Catch the correct view with bitsmedia Russia, where I also defend the light side of the force:
"I read and was so surprised that I decided to register and add my 5 cents. In DAO almost not invest, only a few coins put in to see how tokens are awarded, so the personal interest do not have. However, reading the comments that "attacking" the genius and his need to release with three million Ethereum, I am amazed. Even more amazed by the opinion that if you make softporn or hardwork and return those coins then lost confidence in the coin, price will crash and all is lost." My opinion is opposite - if the creators of the coin will not do anything to recover stolen, then how can there be confidence in the coin? The creators of coin to take care of her and fix errors as well as possible consequences, caused by the error code. This is done all over the world in all fields. Do you think that the hacker finding the vulnerability, earned all the money he could obtain, exploiting her? It is not, and to believe so is impossible, because it is a dead end. Think, if you think so, then you cannot look for those who steal money from credit cards, those who spread viruses and botnets, those who Rob banks. They all found holes in the system, the rules created by other people and use them for personal gain. They always find flaws in systems and rules, and always will be. All programs, smart contracts, etc are created by people, they will ALWAYS be holes. No need to talk about some ideal system, they say it is a problem of the DAO that it was a hole. Holes will always and everywhere, we live in an imperfect world. Perfect code? Ask any programmer can write something more complicated calculator without a single bug, and if he has at least a few years of experience, the answer will be negative. I know whereof I speak.
So if you found a hole and took the money not belonging to you, you're a thief. Don't you agree? Then do it and then tell the court that you are not a scammer. Read the definition of the word.
If you believe that this all only applies to ethics and cryptocurrencies it doesn't have to touch - then look at the history of cryptocurrency. Them code again is created by people, and again there were, are and will be bugs. Why do developers fix them? Not to steal your money. Have to do that? Of course it is necessary. What to do if you steal still have time? You need to try to reduce the damage to return the money, as usual in this world. Why cryptocurrency needs to obey other laws? They are part of our life, our imperfect world, and so they need to employ the same centuries-old universal laws. Otherwise, time and again, hackers will with impunity, steal your money, just undermining the credibility of the cryptocurrency in General.
The cries that Vitalik will be able to do anything with the coin nonsense. About it decide Pula exchange. Some pools have voted and the results show that the majority of people are friends with the logic, consider that stolen need to be returned. This is not the collapse of the coin. This is a normal management. Decentralization does not mean that everything should be left to chance, management still should be, and it has long is, in fact, the developers manage the coin, releasing new versions, introducing new features, fixing bugs.
Read the comments that blame Vitalik, they say he's their money, and once the hacker was able to get the money they. Code people write. Bugs will always be. This is normal (unfortunately). And the one who exploits vulnerability should not take the money because he was a thief, and he took not his own. You cannot declare your taking using the vulnerability, a hole, a bug; the world is an ordinary crime.
I don't understand why there are people who think that the thief must pay what he stole, and as a lesson to strengthen control over the code. Yes usesite control as you want, there will still be bugs to find and to steal, anyway. The banking system is proof, and there write code intelligent people."
Excellent post.
I am also considering legal action, if the hacker comes forward and reveals himself.

So that Romanian guy is not the actual culprit?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: June 20, 2016, 10:30:00 AM
The Ethereum price dropped about 50% in the last few days due to the DAO problem. It might not be profitable for some miners now.

same profit as before, like it was some months ago, bitcoin skyrocket to 2x or around that so you have the same revenue at the end, nothing changed

anyway etheruem is not the most profitable currently

Where should my hashes go?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 18, 2016, 07:28:35 PM
ETH will be fine because the gpu miners want something not yet killed by asics.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 17, 2016, 11:33:08 AM
They are working on a soft fork atm. the leaked ether is in a child DAO so the attacker has to wait another 27 days before he can withdraw. At a later time a hard fork will be proposed.

so that's good, the dump was only because of panic dumping?

Blood in the streets, you should buy now.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: June 16, 2016, 12:04:56 PM
Well my biggest grip i bought 1th and now its gone , no answer from support it was suppose.to be forever obviously there idea of forever is way different to mine , so basically they can go get fucked , there thieves and liers  and i do tell everyone that asks me about cloud mining to stay away , i have alot of cloud mining but genesis are frauds and have zero customer service ...

I have about 67TH gone.. welcome to the club, also no answer from support... so far.. all contracts that had 0.0015usd / GH maintenance fee were gone from the day they should have started to earn again (thanks to btc / usd rise)

I mean they are gone.. no history in account orders, as expired (as they were not expired) they just do not exist anymore...

Wow they fuct you good
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: June 13, 2016, 12:25:10 PM
Base on current price of S9, the prices for S9 hashes should be 0.000225 BTC per GH/S when it first appear on market.

That is only dependable, at which price the first batch owners would be selling their S9 hashes. If I remember correctly on the first S7's hashes hitting the market, sellers were selling them around 10% above it's actual value.

It really depends on the price of hash AND the price of your power costs. In that regard, Bitmain wins against most home miners.
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: June 13, 2016, 12:23:36 PM
what?! S9 sold out again...

Yep and at this price we're going to see some big jumps in difficulty.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 11, 2016, 02:59:05 PM
What happened for what reason of Eth goes down and far 0.02 lower?

Strong ETH to BTC price. It's still over $13 per so pretty damn good.

The relative price to bitcoin has dropped from 0.032 to 0.023. But the dollar price is holding firm.
99% of eth fans have sold out their bitcoins for ethers. Now they say dollar price is more important. I don't get it.

Because you're an ETH troll
