Scrypt.cc  ROI is better and better day by day !

Currently it is 63 DAYS !!!

Im glad, im invested.  Grin
Regret that i havent done it, from the beginning...

If you did at the begining, with the price more then 10 times the actual and the reward not 10 times the actual you will suffer a lot of loss, only in this phase this gambiling site is profittable, not for early / mid investors....

i first invested more than one year ago (now i'm out) and with continuos price down the hill, i lost only money.... the rewards didn't stay up enough to recover the price dropping.

You're doing it wrong.
282  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: August 02, 2015, 12:48:19 AM
When will these be available for non bulk ordering?

And how are sellers such as zoomhash getting 5?  Some are selling.  We just need to find out way for us non-resellers.

That's the question isn't it

Remember they are the builders of the blade which came out last year at 3000 usd and dropped and dropped and dropped until they were under 200 on eBay.
The reasons for the price dropping aside, the fact that the price dropped over time at all is a good thing, surely?  There's another thread where people are complaining about gear's pricing not going down (or even going up) Smiley

When the gridseed blades came out we had the second factor 'Josh of paycoin'  So the scrypt market had so much manipulation on so many levels I can't tell you that gridseeds choice to continually and quickly drop blade prices was the single factor that crashed scrypt.

I can say price wars combined with pretend mining By Josh/paycoin/GAW crashed scrypt.

But when spondoolies and bitmaintech had the sp20 s-5 price war btc went from 400 to 180 usd.   So I would say flooding the market with good cheap gear has its risks and can drop price.

@ searing    yeah you are basically correct   and I should just leave this thread alone. But besides my mining addiction  I have a blog post addiction.

I think I made 20,000 posts on

parts-express
anandtech
macrumers
123macmini
BFL forum - I was second only to josh before they banned me
Madisound
gaw's forum
and of course here.

When I look at the list above I think I made more then 25,000 posts. I have been posting on forums for 10 plus years.

Nah at first GAW was a legit reseller and even did real hosting to whatever pool you wanted. It wasn't until the virtualized the miners that things went to shit.

Well we can argue all day  but between gridseeds flooding the market  and dropping price time and time again plus Josh/Gaw selling phantom gear from July on scrypt got crushed.   Now as a twist sFards has sold a batch out and has 2 other companies selling the gear.

I  did a lot of business with zoomhash and they list this gear at 1999  just can't see this price  and iTop at 1399 is far lower but still too high.

iTop up to $1500 now.

instead of helping future victims you spend your worthless time laughing at them and hoping they get crushed - real winners you are.

... and here comes the inevitable ad hominem intermixed with some sort of implied blame. Aren't you confusing who's at fault in this clusterfuck?

What exactly is your plan "of helping future victims"? Increase the reward so that everyone could sell off and get out? Everyone can sell off and get out right now too, only greed is standing in the way. Increasing the rewards just means that more "future victims" will sink more money into it. The only way to really help "future victims" is to shut it down.

It's not greed you simpleton. If I sold out right now I would lose over 60% of what I've invested. That's over $2,000. Why the fuck would I take a hit like that? KHS prices are the lowest they've been since I started there in April. It's pathetic.

And Buttkrieg still has his signature campaign running... so legit! Time to ignore.
286  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]419$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: July 30, 2015, 06:30:43 PM
get one price of 7000CNY(1129$), but we need wait until the middle of the august before we can get the miner....
so what are your guys thinking about this offer

I wonder what sort of drugs they have manufactured and consumed over there that has resulted in the price being so outrageously high ? Kiss any idea of profit goodbye unless you are SFards selling these things to rubes.

I mean, I understand all about recouping R&D costs, but good fucking luck at this price (unless SFards has a considerable self-mining operation)

Any new info on this? Just wondering.

Apparently you can buy one now for $1,999 USD and it's in stock somewhere (Zoomhash I think).  You can also buy 4 S5s from the Lee Group for $1,676 USD at his $419 price and have 4.6TH/s instead of paying $323 more to get 1.7TH/s.  Lee even throws in the PSUs.  The SFards folks are completely insane!

I get that but what about the power costs of hosting? If Li could really get them for $1129 or so then it might be worth it if the power requirements pan out. If the price works out to be comparable to 3 S5s then given the BTC and LTC rates now it would make sense to get one SFards. Is my math right here?

MinerS5S5 * 3SFards SHASFards Scrypt
Speed11503450170054
Power requirements5901770710200
Power cost @ .10 in $1.424.261.680.48
Earnings per day in $1.785.343.044.95

Can anybody here explain me how is the situation with this site? It is working again or not. It is trustable to participate on it or not? What are the prices compare to the other mining sites?

It's a crap-shoot so spend what you're willing to lose.

His name is 'TheCleanGame' or 'TCG' on Scrypt.cc and the IRC. He's a complete asskisser that thinks he's buddies with the Admin. He was lying about the Admin employing him a couple of months ago. And I was also in there when they took his mod powers last night. I was in there 5 mins ago and unfortunately he has them back. Some of the IRC mods are cool, but for the most part they're all neckbeard virgins or old retirees that think having a SSI check makes them more worthy of BTC than those whom don't.

You mix things up.
TheCleanGame is (one of the) Founder of the IRC Channel. Nobody can take his OP-Rights.
The Guy who lost his Rights was 'MrProbz' because he lied as he said he had skype contact to admin.

But have to agree. There are some asskissers there. and critique is not allowed.

Bingo
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 29, 2015, 09:30:01 PM
Besides the one error and your desire to paint this guy as just another desperate hopeful, there is a lot being said that you seem to have missed.  Some of you are so desperate to prove scrypt.cc is a TOTAL SCAM, you miss other possibilities. We are talking about a lot of money here, things get complicated -the truth can not be found amongst these moronic and entirely childish arguments ...yes it is, no it isn't, yes it is, no no no!

Think bigger because the person who created this thing is not living in the same small world you are.

Nice essay for someone clinging to hope that this is somehow at least partially a legit operation. Why would a legit operation try so hard to look like a scam then?

Every major Bitcoin heist from Gox to Garza has had enough supporters and bagholders to come up with rationalizations even when the perpetrators themselves don't care anymore to keep the appearances.

Eventually it will sink in, just takes a bit of time.

Pretty sure I was there when this guy was booted. If this is the same dude, he was lying about Skyping with the admin. He had mod powers but when he was questioned about it and admitted the lie he was stripped right there. Guessing this is him.

So I'm seeing where my miners failover to eligius every day, sometimes multiple times.  The default pool is CK.  Is any one else having issues like this? Overall I think I'm getting close to the stated hash, but hate seeing the failovers.

I'm using f2pool and no issues with that
292  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: July 25, 2015, 09:58:15 PM
Nothing unusual dude unfortunately. The common way of doing business with Chinese is:
100% payment in advance
Then wait at least two or three mounts and am dragon, snake or whatever holiday pops up in between
And it is everywhere not only in asic business.,and it is not cheap at the end. They  got our asses and they do whatever they want because every one wants to do business but no one wants to work and produce anything....
And if when your miner comes be prepared for a brutal fight with Chinese web interface as a small bonus for your patience

Lol on the holidays, so true.
293  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: July 24, 2015, 03:18:46 PM
900$? Smiley) maybe by Christmas time Grin

I would consider it at that price.  Even though it still would be at  premium.   I really want to mine scrypt again.

Just not any other chips out there that touch this specs as far as scrypt.

If everything checks out with these, they will decimate A2 sales

What makes you think that price can't change?

Until I see some reviews from actual real users, the device and specs are a mythical creature to me.

Seems like this one will stay in the Grimms fairy tales for quite some time, I don't think they're doing any review units and 100MOQ won't have many people caring to do a review.

Reminds me of another fairy tale https://zeusminer.com/product/zeusminer-volcano-300mhs1000wscrypt-asic-miner/

and https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140830074550960Um75pnzg06E3

Why do you suggest the L1 didn't exist? It did.

Are they using them now?

If BTC goes up the price of S5s will go up. They like to keep the potential ROI at about the same time frame.

Each ASIC unit is roughly equivalent of 350Mhs.

Deadline for conversation is 15July!

Hell ,yeah! Glad i not sold my account Smiley

We'll see. I hope he doesn't mean it's equivalent to 350Mhs of SHA power... that would be funny, but not really.

I'm not saying he didn't run a fractional mining operation, or that he wouldn't scam us. But, I do think he is capable of producing said hardware comparable to Titans.

All alone by himself without millions in resources? I don't think so.
He isn't "all alone by himself" he has employees, and it is safe to say he raised plenty of funds from direct share sales to fund his latest chip design.

Hey I'd love for this to be true but I don't think it is.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCGear.com SCAM - Enough is enough, lets get some info together on: July 10, 2015, 12:14:50 PM
well this has been a good laugh ... anyone still holding out is beyond hope.

my account says things are converted to other things and if I only send 5 BTC magical mining will begin again. Lol.

dead thread is dead as ltcgear, lol

Nah. I'm holding out because I've already written off the loss and am playing the LTCG lottery. I put up an account for sale but was just looking to see what the market offered - turns out nothing.
