18 days, my withdrawals are still stucked and nobody from support has contacted me to provide an explanation. Bitjohn and mullick who intervened in this thread are also ignoring me.
Call it FUD but IMHO they don't have the coins.
how many coins? 2200 BTCD 800 LTC 3 BTC I can't see the BTC being an issue but maybe the LTC. I tried to sell some LTC there but the volume was so tiny compared with BTC-e it didn't make sense because of the long time to sell a position. Still, these are not huge amounts, at least they shouldn't be.

Meh, I use F2pool and it's pretty solid and has been for a long time. Maybe your pool connections are dodgy so pick a pool that works better with that miner. You can of course complain a lot too. really, meh? would you like to pay for units to run on someone elses pool then? EDIT - just so you know, I have set up a back-up pool, this pool it's on is not mine Ah, I see your point if you are looking to run on your own pool this is a big deal. Too bad.

got update from bitmain, they ship the miner to me today. however, the miner can only hash at 4.66T in average so they refund me 65$ for each unit = 22.4 days host fee so all customer who order this batch of s7 will get 23 days free host fee,
I got the hosting fee email today but are we paying anything yet because of the "free" 23 days? The fees quoted from 27th of Oct. S7 minner come on line (at least for me on 4th of Oct). Ah, there it is in the subject line "Host fee (2015-10-21——2015-11-20)" I forgot we are paying for the month in advance now.

Its neither...they had huge issues with yield and board problems. LTC diff being where it is is simply the extra ALT scrypt hash that jumped on straight LTC after halving.
Good point....as a 'greedy' high end owner of two KNC Titan(s) that have ROI'd I HOPE you Sir are correct (hell its all about me I'll fess up) but really board problems etc that I had not heard....although they always seemed to me to be a bigger deal as a sha-256 miner then scrypt ..er from the bulk chip sales point of view...assuming they are doing such but yeah shift from alts would be nice that means that LTC difficulty will 'eventually' flatline again and the Titans insane need to make them selves into doorstops will be less about difficulty and more about their insane need to try and suicide (knc raspberry pi piece of crap 8th grade science fair project that they are) but anyway......anyone hear of any big ass miners to make me less smug about the above and maybe weep a little bit and sob? I've heard zip...just the sfards supposed maybe chips and something about innosilicon chips but that sounded (if i remember right) like 14nm vaporware for now well it could be worse I could have kept the neptune orig order ...no way I'd be running a knc neptune for 10 months with btc difficulty ..so at least i missed that bullet (and robbery) that knc diverted pre-orders for 4 months of those to the old knc swedish data hall) so it goes my setup if anyone is interested lostgonzo.imgur.comfuture doorstops (note: knc jupiter 550gh btc miner on bottom shelf is off...is currently fulfilling the function of gravity assist device to keep workbench down) but yeah.... LTC difficulty is going up after halving....so there is 'new' stealth equip/chips out there someplace imho ......... we will be the last to know You're not factoring in that LTC price jumped a TON shortly before the LTC halfing - I'm pretty sure THAT is what drove some folks to turn lots of older, once-unprofitable miners back on - they're now PROFITABLE again, if only a little. My suspicion is that the original batch of SF100 units were so poorly designed at the board level that even SFARDS realised they needed to FIX it before they would be able to sell a significant quantity. You too could also be correct and the fact sfards waited till AFTER halving to really move any product seems to back your claim on quality issues. Anyway ..just want it to flatline for difficulty (LTC) and rise in price (LTC) due to halving....(I got needs) and IF it comes to pass some big ass scrypt miner farm comes to be or another data hall based mining chip solution for scrypt comes to pass .. I would at least like to know about it ...rather then just look at difficulty on LTC and scratch head ...I will need a period of time to prepare for 'mourning' the demise of my Titan(s) to doorstop status...would like the 'illusion' of control ..that at least I could see that semi truck coming to run me down a bit down the road .....rather then the suspense of wtf is going on with difficulty and LTC. (hey its a pet peeve in reality it don't matter much what eventually will be ...will be ...but still ) You're not that greedy, you got at least one of them dirt cheap.

Until you can sell your hash you will get burned. Buy a hosted miner and you'll do a lot better.

OK, filled out an order for two "new" S7s with the config for the S7s I already paid for.
|
|
|
S7 Hashnest Price: 8.0705 BTC 4860 GHs
S7 Batch 3 from bitmaintech Price: 6.971 BTC 4860 GHs
Each S7 buyer has already lost 1-1,5 BTC before S7 starts to mine in hashnest.
Yep, wait for the S7 to show up in the market before you buy.

I thnk the ROI is far too long at the current rate, if the prices were dropped it might be worth it to give a shorter return.
It will never be worthwhile if you can't resell it.

I will never install win10 and you should do the same. They can control and take whatever they want. Meh, I have some many cloud subscriptions, one more makes little difference and I don't mind paying if they keep updating it. So far no problems with it.

I have 3 hours 4,841.11 Gh/s average 12 hours 4,772.03 Gh/s average
Thanks for sharing. That isn't bad. However, it also depends on the pool you navigate to. For instance, Antpool would always tell me I had less hash rate than Slush pool over a 24 hour period with the same gear. Is this hash rate you are sharing from your miner status or from the pool? Here's the whole thing from eligius: Hashrate Average Weighted Shares 12 hours 4,803.59 Gh/s 48315904 3 hours 4,876.13 Gh/s 12261376 22.5 minutes 4,749.89 Gh/s 1492992 256 seconds 4,144.98 Gh/s 247060 128 seconds 4,590.72 Gh/s 136814

I don't think it would be hard for SPT to put one of the hashboards ~11 TH in a SP10 type enclosure. It wouldn't but I doubt they care to. What would be interested is if they licensed someone else to make a smaller miner using their chips so they don't have to be bothered with tech support or manufacturing. this is their baby...why would they do that? Motivations of bitcoin mining companies are mysterious... but probably the money if they could make more doing this than mining.
