This one must had a major impact on you, that you even try to find it. Ur so funny.

There is this thing called Google that finds things literally in a fraction of a second. Wonderful technology, you might wanna try it sometime. I'm glad to have provided entertainment for you.

Anything else you would like to share, perhaps something on the topic of this thread? Did you lose 37k KHS too? Oh wait...

Lol, that was me and a different board. I don't sock puppet.

Edit, I see someone on ltctalk reporting 37000 too.

It looks like (nearly?) everybody who lost KHS lost the same amount. Which would mean this wasn't a database backup rollback, probably some other kind of fuckup.

Yeah who the heck knows, not like there is any recourse either.

I invested about 10 btc overall, shit is worth like 1.5 now. My intuition is telling me to try and just withdrawal it all but looks like that's not even a fucking option since people aren't getting withdrawals.

I see, scrypt.cc (and "mining") was not designed for you Smiley
You must Repeat this: (deposit, buy, sell, withdraw) doing it clever, each day.
So you can deposit a total of X BTC and withdraw a total of (10*X) as me, since 1 year Smiley

P.S. My withdraws are OK each day, waiting no more than 30 hours.

Really, mine are not:

Maybe you're full of shit?
244  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: August 13, 2015, 09:07:39 PM
Why does the second shot look like the trunk of a car?  Selling them out the boot eh?

Exactly what I thought.... Cheesy

I just neg-repd sfards as a scam until they prove me wrong. I'll do the same to everyone else who posted pics of "recieved" miners without proof of hashing & ownership too. BCT has become a haven for scammers with all sorts of supposed "hero" members involved with many of them.

It's bollox.

Cool, another sock puppet troll.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: August 13, 2015, 04:01:13 PM
Dear Genesis Mining community.

Genesis Mining will not be able to comply with the regulations set forth by the proposed BitLicense and as such, we will no longer be able to accept customers from the state of New York. All current customers will be able to continue their services, but going forward, no one with an IP address from the state of New York will be purchase hashpower contracts with us from this point onwards.

We stand by the cryptocurrency community and believe this particular piece of legislation is unnecessary and is an obstacle to free market innovation. We also believe that is exactly what it set it out to do. Companies across the world today posted similar announcements about leaving New York, and while it may seem like a victory to those who passed it, it is important to understand the difference between winning a battle and winning a war. Those who passed this bill have only succeeded in winning a small battle, and as a result have set their state further behind.

Coindesk have also written about it here.
http://www.coindesk.com/genesis-mining-leaves-new-york-following-bitlicense-deadline/

Well that blows. I find it odd that the dude that pushed this crap BitLicense schlock through quit soon after. What a dick.

Still limping along but signs are not good.

For sounds I put two of these on top of my S5s so they hang over the fans (push-pull) and they cut down on the sound quite a bit.

lot of people are "receiving" these but no one can be bothered to post some pics...

Maybe they're too embarrassed?  Cheesy

It's been weeks since sfards commented on their product - I'm beginning to think they screwed up & it's now dead in the water. Either that or they're shipping miners to their own farm & there won't be any public sales until they've mined the f*ck out of them themselves - then charge stupid prices for used units.

Dejavu?

I think they sent out batches of just 5 each to people that pre-ordered and they are running the rest themselves until the halving for LTC happens.

1) Does it matter how good or poor anybody's english is?
2) I do not recognise typical turn of phrases I would expect from a Russian or Chinese speaker, this is most likely somebody pretending to be for whatever reason. I deal with Asian partners all the time and this is not one.
3) It would be better for all of us genuine consumers to stop chaining lots of replies to an obvious troll as threads end up full of posts with no relevance to initial subject. Indulging troll is exactly what they are looking for.

it would also help if people stopped making endless amounts of sock puppets.

I will also most likely be doing USA sales for these. Im located in NY so US shipments will be cheapest through me.

For Sfards or J4abber's stuff?

Looks like rewards halved again

Today as well as yesterday you mean?

Hmm, might just be an aberration.

I don't know, this thing kind of scares me. At this point I'd rather wait for the S7 which should hit soon enough.

with this out the s-7 will be delayed into October at best.

I don't know, these aren't "new" so maybe this is the last hurrah for these chips.

If you are going to buy cloud mining you are safer using a company that has their own exchange so you can sell hash if your plans change.

Well this is exactly the reason GM does not want to introduce their own exchange. Cause everyone would sell, dump the price down and leave.

This has already been addressed before:

...

3'') The question of why we are not offering hashpower trading is very good and we had long discussions about this already more than a year ago. The reason why we are not doing this is because we would need a licence for securities trading from the SEC. Most of the competitors who offered this service already received subpoenas and are not operating anymore. We have a lot of responsibilities towards our customers and doing anything that threatens our operation to that extent is not acceptable for us.
...

All the best and happy mining!
Marco Streng

According to FinCEN ruling cloud mining companies that simply pay out mined coins to the customer are not labeled money transmitters, see http://www.fincen.gov/news_room/rp/rulings/pdf/FIN-2014-R007.pdf Others that offer markets and exchanges (where the company transfers coins on behalf of customers to other customers) can be labeled as money transmitters.

And this following article is interesting as it tells us that getting proper licenses is (too) costly, and therefor you can assume failing to defend your business in US court as not being a money transmitter is even more costly/deadly: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-law-money-transmission-compliance-avoidance

So... What is safer? Investing using a company that's making sure it's still operational next year and beyond, or investing using a company that may not have the required licensing to service US customers or to operate inside the US?

Good points new guy

not sure how you see this as trolling when all i do is ask a question. (that still isn't answered)

so to be clear. i'm not trolling or trying to upset anyone here. i'm just really curious about this.

You must be new here.  Tongue

257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 10, 2015, 08:29:31 PM
earlier today i asked if anyone can tell me where scrypt.cc's khs actually is. so far nobody answered or even saw it i think, i think you are all blinded by greed and wondering your butts off getting your withdraws.

I'm gonna give it an other stab: I can't seen to locate the khs or even ghs amount of this website. I read about 850 GH/s somewhere but those are nowhere to be found, so again; what are you guys trading? thin air?

who here talking in defense of scrypt.cc has the balls to explain this to me like i'm 5. just show me where its at.

If i look at https://www.litecoinpool.org/pools i see there is 13GH/s unknown. so how about it, who's brave enough to explain this?

Nobody, go find another thread to troll.
