Ok I installed the older 17.7 drivers and was able to get afterburner to apply my memory clock but now I have a new problem maybe. After I apply the memory clock and check inside GPUz it shows my changes core clock but just displays a 0 mhz as my current memory clock why is that ?
The new Drivers should work with three cards and after burner , how many video cards were trying to use .. displays a 0 mhz as my current memory clock why is that ? reset to default with MSI if that doesn't work uninstall the drivers with https://www.wagnardsoft.com/ then reinstall if it keeps doing it you may have to uninstall AB then install it after the driver is reinstalled . |

They did not drop the price. They are lowering price after each batch due to rapid difficulty increase on cryptonight algo which means less coins will be mined after each batch and pricing accordingly.
Earlier the batch the bigger the meat you get just like a shark but also higher risk, and as each batch gets release you get more of the crumbs but less risk.
There are plenty of other altcoin crytonight coins besides monero.

An example like x16 that Raven coin uses is a great example of a coin that chose to use an algorithm that changes frequently. If more coins chose to do this or fork to something similar then I imagine we may seem quite a few upset ASIC miners rather than GPU miners being the ones pushed out.

how can i change the server urls from zerg pool to EU? EU server -o stratum+tcp://europe.mine.zergpool.com:<PORT> -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> [-p <OPTIONS>] Tried to change under online service. All changes on predefined coins are lost after restart and doesnt work. Tried to to add the coin unter custom doesnt work. Theres btw no template for zergpool like for zpool. when you make a pool you can set it to any URL/pool you want.and when you make that pool there is links on the left side the last one down lets you add that kind stuff per pool setting . or you can right click the miner in the main ui for AM on the left is more links the third one down lets u add custom commands or bat file commands. but those setting are global unlike the per pool setting when you make the pool . if your asking that ..... an you can make your own templates with templates. |

Why would the governments in these places be more interested in stealing bitcoin mining hardware than they are on taxing the earnings? It would just seem more practical for them to allow their people to earn money, rather than taking it out from underneath them. It would seem to make more sense to seize these items at the border with customs or some enforcement agency. There are just too many things that don't add up to me. I didn't mean to avoid the question, but yes in my country it is safe to mine crypto. America does not bother you for this type of thing in any significant or limiting way. In the US, nobody cares if your power consumption takes a spike, you just pay more for it.
If the utility gets a sense that you are exceeding safety limits, they will respond. Local government officials may step in if they feel that the power is being used for illegal activity, such as, drug production.
They care somewhat, because for some reason high power consumption is probable cause and gives them a reason to get a warrant for your house. It seems as though high power-consumption somehow removes your right to privacy. I've known a few people to have their homes searched for abnormal electricity usage, because they were assumed to be running a drug operation. Seems shameful that they care enough to break down doors and find out what is going on without any proof of wrongdoing. Not illegal here in the US but has anyone noticed that people think this is some 'breaking bad' operation when folks like the electrician or HVAC people come? Mine are very curious and nosy.... only ones don't know what it is other wise most electrician or HVAC people that have come to my house don't care in fact the nosy ones i get are more like how can do that then wtf is that you might be breaking some rule with the power company, i only had some one over the Phone tell me that shit . my electrician is cool an tells me what jerks the power company can be. |

Ive got it on 110 line right now with 2 1200 watts hp 80 % psu running at 900 watts each,their to loud to keep in the room, I keep my GPU's and A6 were the 220 line is, Monday 19 th I'm having another 220 line put in that room ...which is sound proofed, later this month, i have a L3 plus coming and have a A4, i may sell it's being fixed, i hope .
The sad part is they refreshed some S7. the chips used are the same chips as the S7 chips like everyone is saying but i knew that when i bought 2, i just wanted two new toys mostly. they were cheap, i have solar power, so why not ..

Are u sure it is brand new? Why would they produce V9 over S9? In exact condition as my s9..as new. Smells new...dont know. As long as it hashes, its all good. I can confirm they seem completely new to me as well. No evidence of dust or signs of wear. I bought 2, only bought them because i have Solar the one i got to day seems new, looks new, has been running for about 8 hours with no HW errors yet, at a good steady stable 4 th ... may overclock it some later on . temps B1 5o c B2 47c B3 53c haven't measured the power usage, probable won't . to me the only set back that makes it useless is the power it uses, I 'm mining BCH with a A6 .. for the hell of it . in fact i bought my two from CryptoCrane on amazon , wonder if the guy here is the same one ?. no big deal if not i don't really care ... i had to ask out of wonder. |

anyone bought a L3 + batch three for 2018, i did just wondering if anyone has had one ship yet, i have a V9 coming next week may buy two more ..sense it's a hobby for me i mine to HODL coins. hey, again, hope you are correct....but equipment NOW vs HODL coin for 'price rise' (crosses fingers) and buy equipment later in the year is what I'm 'hoping' for (then again, at one time I drank the BFL kool-aid...so what do I know)  That why I'm buying gear now and holding , the gear prices are dropping so now might be good to get one to three of the 14 nm chip miners then wait it out an mine with them till July or AUG sense that seems about when the 10nm and 7 nm gear will start popping up for Public sell in large a mounts for the next two years at the least then it may start all over again. |

100% or Auto ?
80 to 85 % or less should do ... that way you save the fans or they last longer and not a lot of noise, they stay cool enough. mine are set at 75 to 85 % usually stay below 62 C all year long , i have 14 cards and always adding more, one or two cards every two month or so . |

It seems the Dag file hit 3 GB, i keep getting out of memory on my 1060 3 GB mining ETH/ETC. I guess this Month is it instead of next month .... https://investoon.com/tools/dag_sizeAt this rate that could mean 4 GB cards won't be usable for ETH/ETC mining in May/June instead of SEP 2018 . very sad, dude if 3GB Dag file this month, VRAM 3GB become is game over. yeah, lucky me, at the time of AMD 8 GB release. at that time I decided to buy VRAM 8GB, even though it was VRAM 8GB very expensive. but if VRAM 8GB compared with the current price of course very .. very cheaper. that's the only 3gb card i have i have 14 gpu's one rig is or was 6 GTX now it's five if I want a mine eth/etc and use windows 10 fully updated i guess i can use windows 10 ep lts 2016 for a while. |

Thanks i did some searches online and couldn't find anything only what i all ready knew , i guess sense it kept saying out of memory, I assumed I hit the limit which I did but because of windows not from eth/etc mining, I knew other junk loads on the card win i use it just didn't think Windows would load that much. |

Windows 10 update did it, it increased how much memory it needs, so is not related by the dag file, is related by how much memory windows 10 is allocating to be in use. Windows server still okay. I guess soon miners with 3gb gpu will ditch windows 10 and will start using windows server or older versions of windows 10. 1511v works without any problem, problem falls only on fall creators 1709v and after it i guess.
