581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A4 Dominator - Pre-Order Group Buy - 280mh, roughly 1000w, $1800 + shipping on: April 08, 2017, 01:37:41 AM
bought mine from https://www.eastshore.xyz/shop/litecoin-miner-a4-dominator-136-6mh-with-520w-ltc-miner/ 899 per tube. for 863 shipped before the price went up .

http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a4-miner/ 1,600 USD

they have few in stock for about what they sell for on INNOSILICON site as 136 MH tubes .may be  200 more in the end you still pay the shipping i guess ... or do better direct buying .

shipping was 40 bucks everything taken care of they use ups which i was happy about i don't like FedEx
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon's A4 Dominator, 1.2W/Mhs 14nm ASIC and miner, open for Partners on: April 08, 2017, 12:53:07 AM
With pools like ProHashing currently paying out as much as 0.07c per Mh/s per day ($17.50 USD per day), I wonder how many ROI nay-sayers are now kicking themselves they didn't buy an A4 back in August 2016?

I'd imagine there's a bunch of A2 and Titan owners who have made ROI that are feeling pretty happy too.

The BTC scaling debacle and the SEC have been great for Alts, I just hope Bitmain don't mess it up too soon.

That's the part i don't understand why does bitmain want to f everyone they should be happy how they are setting, wealth only goes so far before you get to much and getting greedily er  will in time kill them.

I'm hoping those L3 take backs were to fix them or check them out and test them more , then put them back on the  Market, i know it's a dream, but hoping ..
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for mining software for Zeus/GAW mining rigs on: April 07, 2017, 11:06:32 AM
it's old out dated I'm not even sure how well it works any more from zoomhash.

https://zoomhash.com/pages/raspberry-pi-software-update

mnera works great with that miner i had it  running my TX6 two month ago i don't power up much any way ...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596620.0

BFGMINER IS the best one to use now

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877081.0

OLD fork of CGMINER

https://github.com/siklon/cpuminer-gc3355

I prefer BFG and minera and use it with my Alchemist with five working boards on a custom PI type.

all  these will run on all most on any RPI all but the zoomhash one if might be to old for a rpi3 even after a full update, if you use a RPI 3 i would load it with Ubuntu Classic Server 16.04 https://ubuntu-pi-flavour-maker.org/download/ then either use BFG at the black screen with SSH or manually install minera if you install Ubuntu 16 , after you do a full update there is a small bug that stops it from running  i found a fix for  in the config.txt on any PC in the SD reader change:
Code:
set extended DT area
to the line below then pop it back in the RPI 3 it should boot right up.unless they fixed it which they haven't, i reloaded my PI 3 a day ago had to replace the  line again.

Code:
# set extended DT area
device_tree_address=0x2008000
device_tree_end=0x200ff00

and if you manually install minera you have to install it like this

Code:
sudo apt-get install -y lighttpd php7.0-cgi
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi-php
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi
sudo service lighttpd force-reload

sudo apt-get install -y redis-server git screen php7.0-cli php7.0-curl libblkmaker-0.1-dev

cd /var/www
sudo git clone https://github.com/michelem09/minera
cd /var/www/minera

sudo ./install_minera.sh

and change few lines in the
Code:
install_minera.sh
file  to
Code:
php7.0
from php5 before you use
Code:
sudo ./install_minera.sh
or it may not install right ...
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What Driver Version Are you Using for RX 470 4GB Cards [POLL] on: April 06, 2017, 01:22:43 AM
Crimson ReLive Edition 17.4.1 Optional just came out to day i all ways use beta drivers unless they have some thing wrong when i install them then I use whatever i was using. ..

and using the RTM version of windows 10 creator , i love it , it is really  stable and due out live Tuesday. and a shit ton of stuff was fixed that took them years to finally fix, i was impressed.

to be honest never see a difference in speeds between driver version mining unless there is some thing wrong with the drivers i am using and I'll know it right a way ...
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 06, 2017, 01:12:37 AM
No disrespect to forum members, but if you have ever tried to sell anything here you are in for an experience.  Most want to low ball you, and talk you out of what ever you are trying to sell.  Even if the price was a good deal to begin with.  Frankly it is less hassle to sell on eBay.

After my few experiences trying to give forum members a first shot at things I had for sale I finally said to heck with this and sold it immediately on eBay for more than I would have made if I sold it here...

So my own personal experience has taught me if you want to sell it just take it to eBay.  Just mark it up to cover your eBay fees.  YMMV

SO i noticed i will buy here because i have got some really good deals here but sell here no way , i will use Ebay any day and deal with those fees ..even buying off some sellers can be a pain in the ass you get it but it may take some time.

587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 05, 2017, 08:17:51 PM
 no idea

you may have to buy it off a re seller like https://www.eastshore.xyz/ if you want the best price there in china and there site is in English and they are honest re sellers .

There out of stock Sad . till  all most the end of the month ..

https://www.eastshore.xyz/shop/antminer-l3-litecoin-miner-250mh-for-scrypt-mining/

sense the L3 doesn't mine X11 coins it depends on what coins you want to mine the baikal might be better if X11 coins hold there price but don't court on that so i would buy the L3 and mine Lite coins or BTC in directly on CleverMining.com or NiceHash .
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 05, 2017, 08:11:04 PM
It's good step from bitmain but why I can't to see information about antminer L3 on bitmain's website? Despite that fact I have seen them on amazon, ebay and aliexpress, also there are reviews on googlr but ehy isn't it on bitmain? Isn't it officially in massive sell? Or there are betas on websites?
BTW seems good miner and it's already popular on litecoin forums. Which one is better, baikal or this?

Bitmain isn't selling them world wide yet and may not or on there world wide site, you can see the them on there Chinese site and buy them there, i think on the buy part ...  .Ive seen them on there Chinese site sorry don't have link anymore but some one in this post, posted it i believe ...
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 500 series benchmark leaks on: April 05, 2017, 08:02:12 PM
So Polaris is getting a spec bump in the new RX 500 series from AMD.  Looks the RX 580 is a little higher on the memory speed than a 480. I suspect they will be very similar in performance if using a modded BIOS/alternate memory timings.

http://wccftech.com/amd-radeon-rx-580-570-560-3dmark-performance-benchmarks/

AMD isn't doing any favors releasing this stuff right before Vega.  Many people will be confused that this is Vega.

- m0b

not me im waiting for Vega and buying a few more 400 series after Vega comes out and  after I have one or two Vega, i might buy one 570 ...and  waiting till Tuesday coming for Rryzen 5, i found a few R5's on sell now but they cost to much for one that will cost 40 bucks less on Tuesday, i can wait .
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [WARNING] MSI Ships defective GPUs [WARNING] on: April 05, 2017, 07:49:16 PM
Not to mention I'm not too happy with the gaming 5 mobo.  The killer Ethernet software. On two separate boards wiped out my entire network. Took me days of troubleshooting to locate that that was the issue. Talk about a headache. The fix is on their forum but they have yet to acknowledge it.  I've been fighting a mix rig with power colors xfx and sapphire. Been almost two weeks and I've yet to get it to run 24 hours. It too is on a gaming 5 mobo.  Got some biostars headed my way. Need to figure out if it's the mobo or a bad vid card. I'll losing hair and going grey. This isn't helping that one bit😜  Hope ya get your problem solved asap

BR

The killer NIC were never that great any way i had a stand lone one i stopped using a long time ago when they went OEM ... and  pretty much fu a lot of gamer ..so i watch whats on any mother board i buy and try to avoid killer NIC because of bad times in the past I had with there stand a lone version they used to sell to the public ..

Fucking cunts are costing me money, I got multiple defective RX480 4GB cards.

I just bought a MSI 470 off new egg ....cheap after a 30 rebate so well see...
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 05, 2017, 07:35:12 PM
I should put my 2 up on Flea-Bay at $2500 each!!  Makes ROI plus some!!

I'm sure you will get it, only reason i buy it off eastshore they are the cheapest ones Ive found any place that sell real gear of all most any of the new stuff  ...  and are Honest reseller's .
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 05, 2017, 07:25:27 PM
I have found this at Eastshore.xyz :  Shipping starts on 24th April. Is this a real date of a new batch or just a random date? I don't know, now if to wait for L3 / buy GPU rigs / or wait for pinidea/baikal Huh

Bitmain has pulled all the L3's back. I am on the same eastshore batch and paid and eastshore was told shipping of
all L3's canceled and wait undetermined time for the L3 plus only.

Bitmain seems to have yanked them all back to mine with. Literally off the truck. Eastshore is beyond
pissed. I'd also assume a delay of 3 months on L3+ so Bitmain can mine like hell and them.
Price of an L3 I'll claim now will double. Anyway I'm getting refunded on the batch in question

Well I got 4 L3's but damn 8 would have been bliss

Sigh i was just about to buy one off eastshore but do plan to buy another A4 tube form them sense the A4s are running better for me sense INNOSILICON sent me the firmware beta 203 , 204 i was told is suppose to fix a lot more if not just about everything . that they are working on . who knows they may figure out a way to lower the power usage more with software, which is very possible. i may even buy one or two A2 yet but so far i have yet to because i get the feeling I wasn't meant to and i could have ...
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 05, 2017, 07:16:10 PM
I just recently started learning about Bitcoins and altcoins, Almost just threw my money at a t9 till i realized home sha 256 mining is damn near irrelevant at this point but scrypt mining is a bit more profitable for someone just starting out. I know 295 a month is much for alot of you veteran guys but i was a 9-5 worker who recently lost his job and just makes money on the side. ive saved up an amount of money to Grab a L3 from eastshore before they sold out but im just waiting for the shipment, I already have a rx480 4gb mining on my gaming computer with 2 more rx480's 8gb's on the way, and a R1 router as well for luck. For someone Who doesnt pay utilities and small monthly rental payments, this was the best entry for me to start mining. My Roi is looking like 45-65 days.

watch out it is very addicting ...  but yea there is no point in home mining BTC any more unless you can set up a nice a farm in your house which is still very possible but takes a lot costly gear , Home mining ,won't die either some one is always looking for ways to keep it a live and who knows you losing your job might be the best thing that ever happen to you sense you joined something that is still very new and fun and makes cash , don't get me wrong it's not easy cash there is a lot of work involved even for a hobby home miner like me plus reading and learning to get it just right ..
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Lets Play a Guessing Game, Litecoin Difficulty in 1 month & 6 Months? on: April 04, 2017, 06:18:00 PM
wasn't it up to 92 a few weeks ago then went back down to 87 .

sense i suck at that kind of guessing, i won't but do agree if the price keeps going up for lite coins it may get up there in time then the shit will hit the fan because other legit company's may start making Script miners again ....other then bit main and INNOSILICON , I'm guessing again, the 14 nm miners will be good for at least two years till the next die cut @ 12 or 10 nm comes out ...some one told me in about two years we  should start seeing the next Die.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash hashrate question. on: April 04, 2017, 08:33:20 AM
How do I figure out my hashrate? It's only measured in SOL's. I'm trying to calculate using a profitability calculator and I don't know how many megahashes/hashes I'm pumping.

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/zec?HashingPower=200&HashingUnit=H%2Fs&PowerConsumption=200&CostPerkWh=0.12

try above ^^^ Zcash mines in terms of h kh then MH to hit 1 mh you need a shit loud of GPUS running ...

one card mines in terms of H/Sol, four cards should hit 1 KH or higher, you may need 20 GPU's to hit 1 MH . so if you have 4 cards and it looks some thing like 1023 sol  that would be 1023 H or 1.023 KH in the calculator, hope that helps ..

this is just a example at explaining it ... you actually need more then 20 gpu"s to hit 1  MH  AMD cards, can't say with Nvidia they mine the same in terms but at a higher speed , to me cost to much to be worth the trouble but that's a debate thing and your not asking that ...beside i won't debate it ..

https://forum.z.cash/t/what-are-i-and-sols/4320

1 Hash per second (1 H/s) is equal to 1 Solution per second (1 Sol/s)

1 H/s  is 1 Hash per second or Solution per second ( they just gave it a new name ).
1 kH/s is 1,000 hashes per second (sometimes mistakenly written KH/s).
    1 MH/s is 1,000,000 hashes per second.
    1 GH/s is 1,000,000,000 hashes per second.
    1 TH/s is 1,000,000,000,000 hashes per second.
    1 PH/s is 1,000,000,000,000,000 hashes per second.

597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: April 04, 2017, 08:01:35 AM
I would like to see Awesome Miner support the Ebit E9 miner. I recently picked 5 of these up and would like to be able to access them through Awesome Miner.

did you try Add new miners it should let you set it up as either a network external miner or external miner. It uses CGMIner if I'm not mistaken but uses bit fury chips but is based off the ant 5 by bit main or uses that kind of idea  ...If that fails try generic miner under managed miners it is very limited in what it can do but should let you see it ..

Even a KVM switch works so i found out, i bought a switch to avoid buying a new monitor guess what I'm back to using windows for a week with out one issue yet ... I was having dropping hash rates , boots up wouldn't happen unless i plugged in a monitor even some Linux based OS miner i use wouldn't boot right unless i plugged in a monitor ..

I've been wanting a KVM switch for while now so i bought one ..to my Surprise so far it has cleared up my issues, I'm back to using windows ..which I prefer over all other OSes ..
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the best riser extraction on: April 01, 2017, 03:57:31 PM
Meant to pick Riser 2 i saw the list wrong ...in fact i use riser 2 extraction i picked 3 by mistake.

I would go for riser 2 because the voltage regulator much better for the rx470 and rx480

If you are using a other card you can go with riser 1 doesnt matter so much.

Can you explain me why is the riser 2 better for rx470 and rx480 ? I think the difference is that version 2 is using power supply 12V only (you can use independent 12V power supply) and other versions need 12V and 5V. The disadvantage is that linear regulator heating more than other versions, due to higher voltage drop.

The PCI plug On R2 , the plug  is the issue on most of the other ones they burn out to fast etc .. so far sense i switched to the boards with PCI plugs , Ive had no burn outs it seems more stable and use a 16 gw wire.

to be honest, i don't think it matters..Ive had more trouble with the molex Plug type,  no issue yet with the PCI type, doesn't say i won't, just not yet .
