SO these are real and soon to be sold in the US .... for how long ? ... before they start ripping off, sorry to put it that way but that's were it leads over time with something like this but I'll be watching and hoping ...

The open x1 slots mean you can use 6 2 slot cards without risers but the spacing is off so would you be able to use this motherboard in a case?
By the looks of it YES but what kind of case ?, id would use one of the really good open air frames with lots of room . The open x1 slots mean you can use 6 2 slot: it should sense are all you can use in this case is risers card.. I want one and wonder how much it will cost, if it even hits the US . I want one of the new AM4 boards that has yet to go on sell in the US ... http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=882

There are more coins in the world then Eth.
The most bold correct statement so far in this thread very true,, i don't even mine ETH because, I know were it is heading ...I mean ill mine one two full coins from time to time and try to hold on to them but beyond that, I'm off mining other stuff that is just as good . and i mine Litecoins or Script coins as well ... and don't touch BTC they would have to hit 10 k cash per coin before i would turn on my A6 ... btw the A7 sells for 714 now they dropped the price . that's temping .

13 PCI-E plus an M.2 so potentially 14 cards.
That's crazy.
I'd guess windows won't be able to handle that many cards so it will be linux territory.
IF this board happens and MS see some kind of money in it i can see them making win 10 take a lot more cards in there next update due out soon, but id still Use Linux for three or more cards, it's a lot more stable, so i found out ....and use win10 for 2 or less cards and every day use, like i do now ..

if your in the US Best buy has some 570 selling for 199 $ , can't say for how long or how many they have . http://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-amd-radeon-rx-570-4gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card-black/5869603.p?skuId=5869603Nope sold out !!! they were on sell last nite . Holy canoli Batman, $500 for a 4G RX580? It does ship from Asia though... Think that's bad look up RX 470 and 480's. I missed out . Next time I hope I don't miss out some good GPUs. I wonder why they are out of stock if they know that they are going to sell well and so fast... NO one seems to know why that i asked I'm guessing a very high supply and demand for AMD 570 and up cards for mining, you can still buy GTX 1060 at the 470 /570 Price, which work just as good, i' d rather use AMD card because i like them more for some reason.

Has he invested shitloads of money into GPU-rigs? Yes. Most likely. If he have invested that much, will he ever earn it back? I mean, there's no guarantee that the value will rise. He Will ....

For a new and used NVIDIA Tesla P100 GPU computing processor - Tesla P100 - 16 GB on amazon.com wow .. i know only high end business need or can afford it but that has to be bad ass for mining and way beyond my price range . https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B06WV7HFWV/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all $13,931.68 Used $ 15,003.34 New and you won't get it till July even the used one ...I'm guessing that because they release the end of June and the used ones are what they are using to test with now ? . That's about 3 or 4 k sol or higher per card .... instead of what 20 cards to get the same results depending what card you base the speeds off of .. nice but very costly ..

Answer from Sapphire Technology I received today: Dear XXX,
We are facing global GPU supply shortages and so we can't address your question precisely. Increasing the product availability is our top priority, but it will take a couple of weeks at least, it seems 😞
Best, STC team interesting but no one seems to know what caused it ? .I Mean did weather cause it and they can't get something out of the Ground because of weather . or it is some thing worse the Chip makers want a lot more money they are greedily as hell now .I wonder what caused it , I haven't seen any bad news headlines that might, other then trumps 9 day event that was a waste of US tax players Dollars imo .. or some thing far worse they run out of the mats needed with no way of getting them or supply demand is at a all time high and everything sold out AMD wise , while you can still buy NV Cards all most any were at the same price they all ways were ...that should say a lot about AMD "_) OR AMD is about to go under, which would be bad for the Market , then Intel and NV can jack up prices ...AMD stops them both now. two weeks can mean weeks sigh NV sells will pick up for sure ..

it's the same in the US right now unless you want to pay this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA85V5MP6059any place IVe looked in the US it's hard to find a good Price for a AMD Card all the places i looked at are either out of stock or have only one two cards on sell at very high prices, they normally don't sell for. NV cards seem to be the only ones on sell from GTX 1060 and up at reason able prices ... I don't know what happen ? does any one else ? . i can't fine much on the WEB why . Was it something our ass holes leader did during his 9 day event they May have screwed the US .

Script miners there are three one works ok the other one i believe works great and X11 miners not to sure about links below . Innosilicon A4 Dominator http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a4-miner/ I'm hoping they Improve it for other POOLS besides nice hash. Antminer L3 + https://shop.bitmain.com/overview.htm?name=antminer_l3_litecoin_asic_scrypt_minerbit main has one you can per order you won't get till AUG @ there price or pay 5 k now and get one off ebay or Amazon, if your lucky, by then who's knows what might be around . X11 miners not to sure about them but they are there and others say they run great ... http://www.ebay.com/cln/raginglikeaboss/x11-asic-miners/320359150019or buy a few GPU's mainly AMD or NV cards ...and build two 6 card GPU rigs you should be able to build two rigs with 3 k cash (3000 € comes to a little over 3k cash in USD ) . if you shop around ... https://www.eastshore.xyz/Book mark these guys so far they seem very honest, you get what you pay for and if they can"t get it, they refund back whatever you paid or have with a lot members on the forums. I have personally bought a Innosilicon A4 Dominator from https://www.eastshore.xyz/ and got it when they said they said it would come. GREAT! You shared this one. I was waiting for someone to share about which GPu's to buy. I was also thinking about AMD and NV cards to build the rigs. I was confused anyway and in learning phase. I literally don't know much about it but Im coin all by myself to understand mining stuff closely. any RX 470 to RX 580 should be fine you can mix AMD and NV cards, the high end NV are best to use, the GTX 1060 is ok but at about the level of most 470 and some low end 480 not sure how well thy match up to the 500 series cards, you may not find a good deal on any new 400 series cards any more and have to buy 500 series cards by AMD they don't make the 400 any more from what i can tell beside the 500 are better and more stable or seem to be with the one i have .. but try to buy the 570 and up I'm not to sure how well the 560 and below work with mining .. i do know how the 460 work, which was bad for me but i knew that but wanted to make sure, i bought two 460 for others reason not mining . as for NV not really to sure other then the 1070 and 1080 are awesome to use for ZEC mining if you can afford the price tag or justify it.. for mining use .The 1060 isn't to bad and can replace the 470 and some low end 480.. at the same price tag , most places in US are out of stock for 570 and 580 or last time l looked they were and what they had cost way to much or what a low end 1070 cost but don't work as well , when the 590 aka Vega finally is out it's suppose to run better then the NV 1080 . at maybe the same price range of NV cards or 1080 from the high end and down ... I m hoping to get four of the ones priced around 400 bucks, i don't need much more ... but I'm guessing at this point as far as the 590 goes or what ever they settle on calling it .. from what Ive been reading .

I have the same RX 480 cards running in Windows 10 and the 17.5.2 drivers. All you should need to do after modding the BIOS is run the pixel patcher to bypass the signature check. https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-PatcherI would uninstall the drivers in safe mode using DDU, install the drivers and run the pixel patcher before you reboot. I tired that few times with the pixel patcher unless it been updated sense the 17 driver came out i haven't checked it didn't work for me on my 500 series card or 400 cards but did with my R9 280...with the 17 drivers go figure he did it follow him i couldn't get it to .. on the any of the 17 driver but could with any driver below 17. I did it right in safe mode with DDU and with Driver signing off ... in win 10 normal boot up after i uninstalled the drivers then found the video on windows YouTube . he did it follow him ... I'm gonna give it another try ......

I have the original bios and flashed back and now it runs as stock. And yes I am on W10.
Now to have the mod, you mean I need to use the older driver 16.11?
which video and how to do the patch that you mentioned? I dont mind try it.
Do note that I will be using it together with another 1080ti once it is done and supported.
Thanks
YUP, either use a older version of the driver that works or use Driver version 16.12 with this patch https://www.techpowerup.com/228536/amd-bios-signature-check-re-enabled-with-relive-locks-out-polaris-bios-modders or use the YouTube way with the 16.12 patch, id have to find it again after i saw what it takes, i said F*** it, just didn't feel like dealing with it ATM or I would post that YouTube Video. There shouldn't be any problems with the NV card mixed with a AMD card, i do it now with a GTX 1060 just install the NV and the AMD driver, it works great ..

IF they are AMD cards and you are using the new drivers with a AMD modded bios that might be why, they re enabled driver signing with driver version Crimson ReLive Edition 16.12.2 and up, so if the modded bios is not driver signed right in windows 8 or 10, if you are using either OS mainly with Win 10. the drivers won't install right and you get what you see now .. There is a patch you can do for installing the driver for 16.12.2 that is pretty easy to do but not so easy for any of the 17 drivers ..it can be done, i found a way on YouTube but it's a pain, so i leave all my AMD cards at stock and default settings now .. make sure you flash it back to the right untouched bios it came with or look up your card here : https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios if you didn't back it up or use any driver version 16 below the one i said .. i think they started turning driver signing back on @ driver version Crimson ReLive Edition 16.12.2. if you have a 570 or 580 like me your F*** as far as modding the bios goes or find that way on YouTube and use it. because driver version 17 added support for 570 an 580 and any driver below that didn't work for me or install my one 570 .I have a mix of AMD cards starting at R9 280 up to AMD 570 ..total of 10 cards, one is a NV GTX 1060 ...
