801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: December 22, 2016, 09:19:01 PM
Just did that on CM's Thread . I 'm sure I'll get the usually FAN boy BS from others who think they know but don't or totally be ignored and have to be a ass like i was to get him to add the no fee flag and i leave the fee on it bothered me we didn't have the choice or a to the point made thing . . why i have to no idea, I'm paying him for that service every time I use his miner and do try to be nice but he can be a ass when i want him to try something or add sometimes, I don't get why. Sorry but that's how i feel . i have nothing against him professionally/personally either .

btw your awesome winch is great because you know the value of working with others no matter what they say or do and how IN end the end you come out better ...I'm not kissing your ass either its a fact give respect and listen and be fair you get more with less stress and no complaints . as far as  i see  in this thread there is no complaints or you listen then try to fix it . on his thread there is all ways a complaint and some fan boy adding his  2cs worth which really means nothing .

Thanks top

sense I'm paying for it when ever i use the miner and i don't turn off the FEE can you add more then basic API access so awesome miners sees more and uses more of this miner ? .

I asked why on awesome miners post and got this

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.msg17269120#msg17269120

it can be added and stay closed software and i pay for it Smiley. so why not ?.  Please no fan boy stuff that explains why not it can be done and I'm sure a lot of us would like more access to that degree .

hey man i got a question how do i make clay more miner show more then basic  API access, it is very limited still  in what it shows which is a lot kind of but not enough it doesn't have to let me use everything but show the fan speed in RPM etc and give some better access like it does for https://github.com/genesismining/sgminer-gm/blob/master/doc/configuration.md sgminer-gm or is that the limits of Claymore miner.  once this https://github.com/genesismining/sgminer-gm or this https://github.com/zawawawa/gatelessgate are up to speed or very close to CM speed i won't use CM anymore . no comment why it won't do any good to complain any way and right now if you are gonna mine Zec the best miner to use is claymore miners for Zcash, fee or not hes know it, if you use AMD cards, he riding the gravy train right now .
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] - Coinotron --- FIRST ETH-ETC MULTIPORT - profit switchng port 7777 on: December 22, 2016, 12:25:12 PM
hey

Thanks for adding  a ZEC pool that can be done as PPS .Id rather use your PPS pool over antminers Zec pps pool, any day.

IS there Any way you can add SSL/TLS support so  we can get the lesser fee if we use Claymore miner and to be honest right now till either https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1716584.0 or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1612329.0 catch up in speed, claymore  is really the only miner to use for Zec mining unless you write you own miners.

I'm Not here starting something , just asking to have some support added, i don't give a rats ass about claymore fees but if i can use it @ a lower fee i will, with out using third party software by to pass the fee or turn off the Fee.

Right now we have only PPLNS in ZEC pool. RBPPS and maybe PPS will be added in following weeks. We must solve some blocks to evaluate ZEC pool.
I didn't know that Claymore gets lower fee when you are using SSL/TLS.
I will add that feature ASAP.

That explains why i didn't get any pay or reward i have it set to PPS for the Zec pool, I'll set it to PPLNS it let me set it to PPS or it looked that way .

From the claymore  read me thanks for adding it.

This miner is free-to-use, however, current developer fee is 2% if you use secure SSL/TLS connection to mining pool, every hour the miner mines for 72 seconds for developer.
If you use unsecure connection to mining pool, current developer fee is 2.5%, every hour the miner mines for 90 seconds for developer.
If you don't agree with the dev fee - don't use this miner, or use "-nofee" option.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.7.0] Your next mining dashboard - Networked/CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer on: December 22, 2016, 09:55:17 AM
Hey All,

So I decided I'd see if I could get Minera running on an old BitCrane T-110s which has a cubieboard a10 controller.

I got myself a clean MicroSD card and flashed it with the latest Minera 0.7.0 and took the MicroSD card that was in the cubieboard in the T-110s out and replaced it with the Minera MicroSD card.

Now I can't get to any webpage or SSH into Minera or the Jessie Debian shell using PuTTY, as it doesn't appear to have picked up a DHCP IP address, nor did it carry over my old static IP address from the BitCrane Cubian configuration (which is not surprising since that was on the MicroSD card I removed). Any ideas on how I can SSH or web into Minera when I don't know or have a new IP address? Also is it possible that the cubieboard isn't booting this card, which my understanding is that it was built for Raspberry Pi?

Regards,

Chris

Cubieboard is not tested with the SD Card image provided, I could suggest to start with an SD Card with Raspian installed and then follow the steps to install Minera "manually":

Code:
sudo apt-get install -y redis-server git screen php5-cli php5-curl
cd /var/www
sudo git clone https://github.com/michelem09/minera
cd minera
sudo ./install_minera.sh

For cubie boards images go here https://www.armbian.com/cubieboard-1/ you have to use  php7.0 if you use Ubuntu 16 then do a manual minera install . I use two cubie boards and orange PI's . and one banana pi with Ubuntu 16 and the minera beta and the old version of minera and do a manual minera install they work with the beta and old minera. I use a cubieboard a10 controller from BitCrane that was intened to be used with BitCrane miners i bought off new egg dirt cheap  and made it a normal controller that powers my Alchemist miner and it even powers my Avalon 6 with minera , i don't use the openWrt controller  Avalon gave us .

@michelem how long before you add USB miners to the beta, i would love to run it all with one minera and would love it to be the new version .right now i still use the old minera as my software miner and use the beta to test or look at from time to time, i don't use it much .

807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 480 failing on: December 11, 2016, 12:43:28 AM
did you manually change the oc setting or hit the reset button in afterburner or actually delete that profile ? in the afterburner directly then try . you may even need to delete all profiles including the ones in windows in the driver storage folder for windows if it's not a PSU issue.

does after burner hold the default settings after you change them or does it go back to the under clock setting ?.  did you try that card buy it self with no other card  to see if it hashes OK ?.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ZeusMiner Scrypt ASIC Miner Still Somewhat Efficient? on: December 10, 2016, 07:16:59 PM
nope not after the A4 came out unless you don't pay the power or your power cost is cheap, i dislike calling it free Electricity because it's not free some one pays it . it's still usable if your mining is a hobby, you won't ROI with one if that's your worry unless coins prices shot thu the roof then any thing will be awesome to use ..

Try to buy a A4 by Innosilicon.

I think this new driver improve power use, so are the card consumes less W in mining?

to some extent it did improve power use not enough to matter much and increased my speeds on some cards mainly my 400 series cards not much but some not enough that it really matters were it's a  big deal.
I guess you would call it more what you like then anything and it does seem  more stable to me but others have said they had nothing but issues.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Latest amd driver 16.12.1 / (Code 43) for AMD cards under device manager on: December 10, 2016, 12:27:56 PM
totally up to you i just gave you other way to use it if you want to use it without losing anything.

 i like the driver, some don't .
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Latest amd driver 16.12.1 / (Code 43) for AMD cards under device manager on: December 10, 2016, 11:09:05 AM
or do this

if you have a modded bios AMD turned on drivers signing  so you can do one of two things use a modded version of the Drivers or sign your own bios which is possible but harder to do over patching the atikmdag.sys kernel .

you can by pass it like this

http://www.overclock.net/t/1604567/polaris-bios-editing-rx480-rx470-rx460/1050#post_25699216

 and it does work .

I'm using The new AMD driver with a modded bios after i patch the driver, i Like the new driver and using it with no issue at all other then the driver signing junk .

if anyone cares i deleted my posts i don't want any hard feeling direct at me right or wrong i should never had made the comments i did , im not sorry for making the post and not saying I'm sorry for making them i just shouldn't have made the comments and I'm not asking to forgive me i meant what I said i just should have kept it to my self. Smiley .

i got the drivers installed after i put my test 480 back to default bios.

SO i guess you can say these driver won't work at all if you have a modded bios sigh . so no way to test them with a modded bios unless you try to install them with out using driver signing or with driver sighing off , which I did not try . or you driver sign your modded bios which i read a while back is possible with a fee program, i found, i can't find now .

interesting the drivers do save power but not like they say at default settings so far but do heat up a lot and my hash did increase at defaults with these drivers i went from 210 cmV9 to 221 cmV9 with these drivers. i have deep freeze or whatever it's called on . using about the same power i was with the modded bios if GPU-z is right 88 watts tops .

Everything is at defaults with these drivers .

it hashes better or more  uses the same power as my modded bios did but gets hotter. so that make me wonder how it will do with modded bios owell till some one figures out a good way around the driver signing without a lot reboots il stay at defaults and hope for the best for the new SA windows version that is coming .

814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 470 are even cheaper now on: December 08, 2016, 05:44:02 AM
strange i have a  r9 280 that is a power color i still use i bought in 2012 so it not the company that's makes them maybe you had  bad luck ? . i have owned other power color cards in the past that were even older then the 280 i throw a way because i thought it was useless just before ZEC Mining started my lose . ( there was  nothing wrong with it other then i thought it was useless that was a 7870  i wish i had kept  to see how it would do ZEC mininng.

I have never  really had a bad AMD card ever by any one that makes them unless i messed it up and have had a few bad NV cards and one reason i don't brother with NV and started using AMD and plus  i have used AMD before it was AMD  in it's  ATI days before AMD bought the company when it all started and even NV cards were cheap to buy  but

i was thinking of buying a 1070 by NV but may not .

and that wasn't why i bought the 480 form power color because it was power color ,  it was cheap or the same price as a 470 nitro at the time, and  i buy whatever is the cheapest or best to buy for the buck  at the time when i buy it , i may buy another one in  2 weeks depends on the price .

I won't own a HIS Cards with AMD chips like i said have never really had a bad one and i haven't but there card sucked the one only one i ever owned it worked but had a lot of compatibility issue and was bitch to get working right  i even sent it in for warranty they told me there was nothing wrong with it .
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.0 on: December 07, 2016, 10:54:36 PM
Version 9 just starts up and stops with the line:

"not so easy bro Smiley"

what the hell is that?

look at the log maybe it gives more info or ad just setting more.

otherwise no idea unless it protecting you from something like over heat or it's clocked to high in the past if i see massages from his miner i adjust setting . Ive seen some other strange messages pop a few times on his miner due to settings. nice humor thu  but not to the point of WTF just happen.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.0 on: December 07, 2016, 10:41:38 PM
Sapphire Nitro Rx480 8gb 255h/s .  You are the best Claymore.

how do you get 255 ? I get 222 on sapphire nitro 480.. Do you have bios mod ?

with 8  gb that is possible or higher with a modded bios, i don't see how any other way unless they overclock it to were it is running at 80 c or higher all the time  and very unstable, the ones that get me are the ones that say they are with 470 4gb cards I'm sure they are but at a very high cost and the card is using a lot of power and ruining very hot and very unstable at times .
ı use to bios mod.  The temperature is fixed at 75 degrees. I just spend a little more energy. 155  160 watts. My setup 1450 mhz cpu speed, 2140mhz memory  clock

thought so it uses a lot of power i tried that once, i even had one running  like yours are 75 to 80 c i panic if they go over 60c but that's me .

I'm happy how mine are until i get better cooling for them ,I'll play it safe it's not the power i worry about to much cost wise or what they use it's what that much power being used might do over time and how they heat up too me 75 C or higher is bad i know it's not but it brother me .

my farm is very small compared to some here : but my 470s run at 190 to 198  with the new update and my 480 hits close to 210 i  know i can get them a lot higher but at a cost I'm not OK with Smiley . but each his own i agree if it doesn't brother you, then do it .
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.0 on: December 07, 2016, 10:32:09 PM
Claymore thx bro ... nice work v9.0!!!

|GPU | v8.0 h/s | v9.0 h/s |
|280  |    191    |   201     |
|280x|    205    |   218     |
|290  |    250    |   267     |
|290x|    265    |   278     |
|390  |    277    |   291     |

This GREATE!!!

I have a 280x and was getting 195 on v8 and now 205 on v9. Windows 7. What os are you on? Have you done anything to get that extra few hashes out of it?

windows 7 64 / Drivers 15.12 / ASUS 280x overclock to 1100mhz GPU / 1600Mhz MEM

sense you over clocked the 280 X to 1600 mem try the same with 280 non x but to 1500 mems and 1100 clock it should hit 212 to 215 after you do . if that matters. i tried it at 1600 memory one time it  crashed a lot , i have the non X version with stock bios water cooled

To remove any amd or nvidia drivers you could check out this program. its called Display Driver Uninstaller.

is the link correct?

The one i link to it is

I'll link it again mines direct from the DEV site i couldn't get his link to work.

I try to link direct to the DEV site if i can that way no redirecting and you get it form a trusted site you know you can trust .

After hitting refresh a few times my balance shot up...but I still lost an hours mining on the pool.
This has happened before I'd mine for a few hours get nothing despite all the accepted shares then suddenly everything is ok again.

time to try another pool it sounds like a pool problem. no really that does .
