bitmain again increased the price of S5.
maybe they should price them in BTC if thay want to track BTC price ?
I agree....y the heck do they keep doin this?? When the price of btc dropped they lowered the cost of the miners then when im about to order some i see the price of btc went up maybe $10 but bitmain jacked up their prices $37 bucks per miner. Call me crazy but shouldnt the btc amount go down as the usd prices go up?? Needless to say im not buyin s5's now. Theres no reason for this price increase expect trying to get more and more from their customers so i just wont buy from them. Like others have said sp20's prices only go down and hash at the same w per gh as the s5 and run with alot less noise too lol.

Just paid for the miner and psu's via paypal so its not for sale ne more lol.
|
|
|
I'm selling my Knc Neptune miner, PSU's also included.
I'm Highly considering using PayPal as my preferred payment method. Since bitcoins market price is unstable, im not accepting btc as payment unless discussed otherwise.
I'm open to all reasonable price offers. Mining now at bitcoins price is tough to make a profit.
Post here or pm me if interested
Thanks
what r the psu models and what prices did u have in mind?? im into using paypal as payment for sure but only if the price is right of course. pm me if u want to work out a deal on it but please be reasonable with ur prices.

So during the bankruptcy thing was there an audit on how were the money spent? Because I'm damn curious where would 40M-50M$ vanish while producing only a handful of miners.
y isnt ne one responding to this?? i myself wanna know specifics about this not just a blanket statement like "production costs". Because there wasn't. Wait for the icetard to come and tell you that it is all in the documents... lol he can if he wants but if he knows where the numbers r i wont object to him posting a list himself but that means he will have to do the work and theres tonsssss of pages to go through but i havent seen one person yet post clear and direct statements relating to the money that came in (40-50m posted multiple times before) vs. the money that went out (i keep seein "production costs" but does that include new cars?? boats?? cold plated crappers??). i was also wondering....i read some article online about the auction being a closed bidding thing where folks had to submit their offers but later it was canceled because the offers were "low ball offers". Is that true?? if so how does the offer matter?? i thought when a company goes belly up the stuff is sold for whatever its sold for no matter what?? thats how govt auctions are and same goes for storage auctions and bestbuy returns auctions and usps auctions all of which i have bid on in the past and never once did the auctioneer say "fuck it! you guys r a bunch of jews so im not selling this lot to u". maybe the article was wrong??

I upgraded my firmware, and notice all my machines now run around 100ghz, so i flashed it back to the stock firmware i had originally and they still run at 100ghz.
Any ideas?
Try cycling through the freqs in the drop down menu. If your running at the stock speed lower it down and save it and then reboot the miner and go back to the original speed you have selected and power it off and on after its saved and see if that fixes the issue. If it does not under the freq drop down menu enter 0784 as the voltage and click save. Once its done power the miner off and back on after a few seconds. U MUST power the miner off! Dont just reboot the miner so dont be lazy with that step otherwise nothing will change until its power cycled. Hope that helps.

What model BitFury boards are they? Asking price?
16 Chips, 40 GH per board, I have the older green boards, and newer blue boards. I am looking for about $500 or so roughly. I will sell all 6 pis for an additional $150, with cards. And I have some modded 750/850 PSU. Also some cables as well. $120 for both the PSU including cables. Also a few 750-850 Golds I have non modified with cable adapters for additional $150 or so. I am currently running a chunk of the others on a 1200W gold for efficiency but that would be extra. so $940 would take everything. However I encourage offers, as I need to get rid of these ASAP, so post offers you were thinking in your ballpark. You can buy that much power for less right now.. So I'd expect a lower price, Does vancouver not have a kijiji? may be best place? Yes you can, but with no PSUS, to buy an S5 you need to buy power supplies with it. I am selling all my bitfuries for $500, all 100 boards, or a full setup for $940 that includes Raspberry pis, PSU. If these r the black arrow bitfury cards then im assuming the controllers r v2?? Wanna sell a v2 controller by itself?? Im plannin on selling mine soon so i want to offer a v2 controller for the chains instead multiple v1's so its less hastle but only if the price is right.

after some repairing from my broken C1 i finally fixed it. it now runs STEADY on 1045 GH/S
What mods to original did you do may I ask? replaced the cooling block and all other cooling, which was totally destroyed from shipping (they shipped my C1 with water in the block which had made t he whole unit to Rust on the way to me so the miner was all wet with brown rust water everywhere. so i basically only replaced the cooling Not to sound rude but this statement cant be correct. Aluminum doesnt rust and the cooling kit and water blocks used are all aluminum not copper and aluminum mixed so there cant be any rust because aluminum corrodes not rusts and since the rads and blocks r aluminum they dont have that reaction that copper blocks have when using an aluminum radiator or the other way around so can u take some pics of what you mentioned cause im really wonderin wth ur talkin about lol. If it is blocked up with rust then u could have easily taken some cheap clr from home depot and pumped it through the block but again aluminum doesnt rust lol. If it did everyones polished aluminum trim on some model cars would turn to orangish brownish pieces within a few days of being outside since the aluminum trim isnt coated like plastic and steel is with crome to prevent oxidation or whatever. If u replaced the blocks wanna sell me the old ones ??

The default IP address of the miner is 192.168.1.99, Username:root, Pwd:root
Overclocking You can overclock the S3 to 250MHz by first ssh'ing into the device, and then uncomment the 250M clock speed lines and making sure other clock speeds are commented out. The overclocked device hashrate is ~500GH/s at 250MHz.
I have tried 275MHz and 300MHz, and were no-go since the chip voltage in the S3 is set at 0.784V.
Run the following command from a Linux machine. If you have changed your device IP then use that below, instead of 192.168.1.99.
ssh 192.168.1.99 -lroot password:root
vim /etc/config/asic-freq Following steps are from allcoinminer. Thanks!
- Download putty from here first. http://www.putty.org/
- Open it and put your antminer ip address.
- Put root as username and password when asked.
- Then, type and enter the below.
vim /etc/config/asic-freq vim is a text file editor. The asic-freq file is opened now.
Type and comment by putting # in the default values and uncomment by removing # from the frequency set(freq_value,chip_freq,timeout) you want to set. Type to save and exit the file. Uncomment the desired clock speed as shown below now and close putty. Restart Antminer S3 and you are running now at the new frequency. config 'asic-freq' 'default'
option 'freq_value' '0982' #250M option 'chip_freq' '250' option 'timeout' '16'
#option 'freq_value' '1286' #237.5M #option 'chip_freq' '237.5' #option 'timeout' '17'
#option 'freq_value' '0882' #225M #option 'chip_freq' '225' #option 'timeout' '18'
#option 'freq_value' '1106' #218.75M #option 'chip_freq' '218.75' #option 'timeout' '18'
Results of overclocking
It wont work. I followed your steps and nothing happen, stills the same. Putty done saving using he !wq http://prntscr.com/5jwz4xAntminers website. (Still on 225M freq after rebooting.) http://prntscr.com/5jx2moPlease help me. Thanks advance and God Bless!!!!! :wq not !wq

Not to sound rude or shit on your prices but y does it cost the same to ship an sp20 and an sp35?? Isnt the sp20 super micro compared to the sp35?? I would want the spondoolies miners but their price is also pretty high considering they are used but again im not trying to be rude or crap on your thread but i gotta ask.

If u got offered 300 for an older model mbp y havent u taken the offer?? U keep using it as a baseline for bids but u havent accepted it which seems odd to me. The hdd replacement isnt hard to do and will cost $50 tops if u get a normal hard drive and up to 500 bucks if you want a top of the line 1tb ssd instead of a hard drive and reinstalling the os is dont over the web now with the newer firmware update so no need to mess with disks and such. But either way take the 300 if its been offered otherwise accept lower offers cause im not payin 300 for an old model unibody mbp....its just not worth it to me when u add in shipping and the cost of a new topcase. I buy to repair and resell not to use myself....i already have a retina mbp so this one is well below mine so if u want a work out a legit sale price shoot me a pm and also tell me if the damn thing comes with a charger or not....i asked that before i believe but i dont recall seein an answer.

This lowered my yoli evo power usage by alot! Im about .93w per gig after setting it to 550/830.
Since im having issues with the firmware compiling i wanted to ask if anyone else has or can build the later firmware updated from hashfast?? My cards are running 0.6.0 and the latest is 0.8.0 but i cant compile the firmware or bootloader. I installed all the packages and built the hashfast tools folder without issues on ubuntu and only found some steps not mentioned in the read me listed in the comments of the source code which allowed me to finish compiling the tools to flash the firmware but i hit a brick wall when it comes to the firmware.
If someone can make the updates i will pay $25 for each one.

You won't? OK. Good luck..... I got tips why you asked about this, for me i thought i would loss value of the product if i start running it for the first time, but i get the reason now and i will take pics with my username and the units for proof U dont have to actually mine with them but if ur willin to that would be great....just run them for 15-20 mins then take a quick photo and your good to go. Mainly i would want a pic with all 3 miners shown side by side with your username and date weitten on a piece of paper clearly so we know you took the pic and the date matches when you uploaded them....the second part should be the least u can do but the hashrate is always welcome too. It wont hurt the resale value of the miners so dont worry about that.
